1Giant mesenteric fibromatosis:Report of a case and review of the literature显示文摘Mesenteric fibromatosis poses a diagnostic and therapeutic challenge.This paper presents a 35-year-old female complaining of vague abdominal pain of 2 mo duration.Her computed tomography scan and magnetic resonance imaging revealed a pelvi-abdominal heterogenous mass with significant displacement of the small bowel and urinary bladder.She underwent surgical excision of the mass with resection and anastomosis of the involved loop of the small intestine.Histological examination confirmed mesenteric fibromatosis without infiltration of the bowel.The patient remained well during the 6 mo follow-up.Mohammed Khalid Mirza Gari Salman Yousuf Guraya Amir Mounir Hussein Moustafa Mahmoud Nafady Hego 2012World Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery2012,4,3:3
2Solvent-free fabrication of broadband WS2 photodetectors on paper显示文摘Paper-based devices have attracted extensive attention due to the growing demand for disposable flexible electronics.Herein,we integrate semiconducting devices on cellulose paper substrate through a simple abrasion technique that yields high-performance photodetectors.A solvent-free WS_(2) film deposited on paper favors an effective electron-hole separation and hampers recombination.The as-prepared paper-based WS2 photodetectors exhibit a sensitive photoresponse over a wide spectral range spanning from ultraviolet(365 nm)to near-infrared(940 nm).Their responsivity value reaches up to~270 mA W^(−1) at 35 V under a power density of 35 mW cm^(−2).A high performance photodetector was achieved by controlling the environmental exposure as the ambient oxygen molecules were found to decrease the photoresponse and stability of the WS_(2) photodetector.Furthermore,we have built a spectrometer using such a paperbased WS_(2) device as the photodetecting component to illustrate its potential application.The present work could promote the development of cost-effective disposable photodetection devices.Wenliang Zhang Onur Çakıroğlu Abdullah Al-Enizi Ayman Nafady Xuetao Gan Xiaohua Ma Sruthi Kuriakose Yong Xie Andres Castellanos-Gomez 2023Opto-Electronic Advances2023,6,3:2

4Scalable and low-cost fabrication of flexible WS_(2) photodetectors on polycarbonate显示文摘We present a low-cost and easy-to-implement technique to fabricate large-area WS_(2) photodetector devices onto transparent and flexible polycarbonate substrates.The method relies on the deposition of large-area(in the cm scale)thin films(~30 nm thick)of WS_(2) by a recently introduced abrasion-induced method.Interdigitated electrical contacts are then deposited by thermal evaporation through a shadow mask.The photodetectors present well-balanced performances with an good trade-off between responsivity(up to 144 mA/W at a source-drain voltage of 10 V and illumination power of 1μW)and response time(down to~70µs)and a detectivity value of 10^(8) Jones.We found that the devices perform very reversibly upon several illumination and straining cycles and we found a moderate device-to-device variation.Jorge Quereda Sruthi Kuriakose Carmen Munuera Federico J.Mompean Abdullah M.Al-Enizi Ayman Nafady Enrique Diez Riccardo Frisenda Andres Castellanos-Gomez 2022npj Flexible Electronics2022,6,1:1

6Fabrication of Fe-POMs as Visible-light-active Heterogeneous Photocatalyst显示文摘Visible-light-active Fe-POMs was fabricated via precipitating Fe^3+with Keggin type polyoxometalates(H:PWi0a.H4SiWi204o or HsPMorOao)under solvothermal condition.The as-prepared Fe-POMs were denoted as FePW.FeSiW and FePMo,respectively.Among the three kinds of Fe-POMs.FePMo displayed the highest visible light absorption,the largest specific surface area,the most sensitive photocurrent response and the smallest charge transfer resistance,which were all beneficial for heterogeneous photocatalysis.The efficiency for Cr(VI)reduction was ca.88%by FePMo after 50 min visible light irradiation.The estimated rate constant(0.042 min^-l)was ca.2.5 and 1.8 times that by FePW and FeSiw.respectively.FTIR spectra indicated that the Keguin structure of PMoOag was maintained inFePMo.Mechanism study indicated that the photogenerated electrons in LUMO and the holes in HOMO were thermo-dynamically feasible for Cr(VI)reduction and H20 oxidation,respectively.Using FePMo as an optimized photocatalyst.good stability was also observed after 5 cvclic runs in both photocatalvtic performance and XRD structure.CEN Qing XIAO Wei LIU Yingqi WANG Qi NAFADY Ayman MA Shengqian 2020Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2020,36,6:1
7Utilization of cationic microporous metal-organic framework for efficient Xe/Kr separation显示文摘The separation of xenon/krypton(Xe/Kr)mixtures plays a vital role in the industrial process of manufacturing high-purity xenon.Compared with energy-intensive cryogenic distillation,porous materials based on physical adsorption are very promising in the low-cost and energy-saving separation processes.Herein,we show that a cationic metal-organic framework(named as FJU-55)exhibits highly efficient Xe/Kr separation performance,which can be attributable to its uniform three-dimensional(3D)interconnection channels and the electro-positive features as the host framework.Moreover,FJU-55 demonstrates good Xe adsorption capacity of 1.41 mmol/g and excellent Xe/Kr selectivity of 10(298 K and 100 kPa),together with a high Qst value of 39.4 kJ/mol at low coverage area.The superior Xe/Kr separation performance of FJU-55 was further confirmed by the dynamic breakthrough experiments.Results obtained via molecular modeling studies have revealed that the suitable pore size and abundant accessible aromatic ligands in FJU-55 could offer strong multiple C–H∙∙∙Xe interactions,which play a collaborative role in this challenging gas separation task.Lingshan Gong Ying Liu Junyu Ren Abdullah MAl-Enizi Ayman Nafady Yingxiang Ye Zongbi Bao Shengqian Ma 2022Nano Research2022,15,8:1

20Microwave-assisted synthesis of L-cysteine-capped nickel nanoparticles for catalytic reduction of 4-nitrophenol显示文摘A simple and efficient microwave-assisted procedure for synthesis of L-cysteine-capped nickel nanoparticles(cyst-Ni NPs) in ethylene glycol solvent was demonstrated. The as-synthesised NPs were characterised by ultraviolet–visible(UV–Vis) spectrophotometer, Fourier transform infrared(FTIR) spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and X-ray diffractometry(XRD). The cyst-Ni NPs are proved to be excellent heterogeneous catalysts for the 100% reduction of 4-nitrophenol(4-NPh) in the presence of reductant(Na BH4)within reaction time of 40 s. In contrast, Raney nickel in similar sample environments shows only 25.5% reduction.The kinetic and energetic behaviours of cyst-Ni NPs were also studied, and the reduction reaction is determined to follow pseudo-first-order kinetics with a rate constant value of 0.115 s-1 and activation energy of 36.1 kJ·mol-1.
