| 1 | Nanosheet-structured K–Co–MoS_2 catalyst for the higher alcohol synthesis from syngas: Synthesis and activation显示文摘The nanosheets structured K–Co–MoS_2 catalyst was prepared through a one-step hydrothermal synthesis combined with the wetness impregnation. The fresh catalyst has a high dispersion of Co–Mo–S active phase and no Co_9S_8 is found. The pure H_2 activated catalyst shows a higher intrinsic activity, especially the C_(2+) OH selectivity for the higher alcohol synthesis compared to the one activated by 5% H_2/N_2 atmosphere. | 2 | Chromosomal-level genome of macadamia(Macadamia integrifolia)显示文摘Macadamia from the family Proteaceae is a plant native to Australia and has long been favoured by people for its crispy and high nutritional and medicinal value.Here,the genome of GUIRE 1(GR1),a highly heterozygous superior cultivar of macadamia nut,was sequenced and assembled using nanopore sequencing,and a 807-Mb genome(contig N50,1.9 Mb;scaffold N50,54.70 Mb)and 14 chromosomes were obtained.A total of 453 Mb(about 55.95%)repetitive sequences and 37,657 protein-coding genes were obtained by gene annotation and homologous protein comparison.Proteaceae diverged from Nelumbonaceae nearly 115.37 million years ago and from Rubiaceae about 140 million years ago.A genome-wide duplication(WGD)event occurred in macadamia 41 million years ago based on the WGD analysis.The functional enrichment analysis of M.integrifolia-specific gene families revealed their roles in signal transduction,protein phosphorylation,protein binding,and defense response.Here,a highly heterozygous genome of M.integrifolia was unlocked to provide a database for breeding and molecular mechanism research. | Chengcai Xia Sirong Jiang Qiujin Tan Wenquan Wang Long Zhao Chenji Zhang Yuting Bao Qi Liu Jianjia Xiao Ke Deng Miaohua He Pengliang An Wenlin Wang Meiling Zou Zhiqiang Xia | 2022 | Tropical Plants2022,1,1: | 3 |
| 3 | Accelerating C_(2+)alcohols synthesis from syngas by simultaneous optimizations of CO dissociation and chain growth over CuCo alloy catalyst显示文摘With regard to the reaction of higheralcohol synthesis(HAS),the optimizations of activity and selectivity towards C_(2+)alcohol are restricted by the improper equilibrium in two different CO activation pathways and chain growth capacity.Herein,we find that delibrately controlling the compositions of catalysts is an effective strategy to achieve the equilibrium of CO activation pathways and promote the chain growth.As a result,the optimized Cu_(0.25)Co_(0.75) alloy catalyst can achieve a large proportion of higher alcohol in alcohol products(C_(2+)OH/MeOH=4.40),together with high CO conversion of 71.27%and space-time-yield of 147.65 g kg^(-1) h^(-1).The mechanistic studies suggest that the good performance of Cu_(0.25)Co_(0.75) catalyst is attributed to the synergistic effect between alloyed Cu and Co. | Meiling Shui Chao Huang Peiyu Ma Wenjie Li Qun He Wenlong Wu Yisheng Tan Jun Bao | 2021 | Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,7: | 1 |
| 4 | Neurodegeneration-associated FUS is a novel regulator of circadian gene expression显示文摘Background:Circadian rhythms are oscillating physiological and behavioral changes governed by an internal molecular clock,and dysfunctions in circadian rhythms have been associated with ageing and various neurodegenerative diseases.However,the evidence directly connecting the neurodegeneration-associated proteins to circadian control at the molecular level remains sparse.Methods:Using meta-analysis,synchronized animals and cell lines,cells and tissues from FUS R521C knock-in rats,we examined the role of FUS in circadian gene expression regulation.Results:We found that FUS,an oscillating expressed nuclear protein implicated in the pathogenesis of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis(ALS)and frontotemporal dementia(FTD),exerted a novel feedback route to regulate circadian gene expression.Nr1d1-encoded core circadian protein REV-ERBαbound the Fus promoter and regulated the expression of Fus.Meanwhile,FUS was in the same complex as PER/CRY,and repressed the expression of E box-containing core circadian genes,such as Per2,by mediating the promoter occupancy of PSF-HDAC1.Remarkably,a common pathogenic mutant FUS(R521C)showed increased binding to PSF,and caused decreased expression of Per2.Conclusions:Therefore,we have demonstrated FUS as a modulator of circadian gene expression,and provided novel mechanistic insights into the mutual influence between circadian control and neurodegeneration-associated proteins. | Xin Jiang Tao Zhang Haifang Wang Tao Wang Meiling Qin Puhua Bao Ruiqi Wang Yuwei Liu Hung-Chun Chang Jun Yan Jin Xu | 2018 | Translational Neurodegeneration2018,7,1: | 1 |
