| 1 | Persistent organochlorine residues in sediments of Haihe River and Dagu Drainage River in Tianjin, China显示文摘Persistent organochlorine compounds were analyzed by means of GC-ECD in surface sediment samples from two selected rivers in Tianjin, Haihe River and Dagu Drainage River. A total of 16 surface sediment sites were selected along the both rivers. The frequency of detection of T-HCH and T-DDT in sediment samples both was up to 100%, which illustrated that the contamination of HCH and DDT was widespread in Haihe and Dagu Drainage Rivers. Results indicated that the concentrations of various pesticides in sediments from Haihe River were in the range of 3.30—75.96 ng/g dw for T-HCH and 1.57—211.57 ng/g dw for T-DDT. Compared with Haihe River, Dagu Drainage River was contaminated by HCHs and DDTs along the all locations and the values of T-HCH and T-DDT residues in sediments ranged from 2.30 to 124.61 ng/g dw and from 11.28 to 237.30 ng/g dw, respectively. The possible pollution sources were analyzed through monitoring results of organochlorine pesticides(OCPs) residues in sediments from the two rivers. | 2 | Self-reduction Mechanism of Coal Composite Stainless Steel Dust Hot Briquette显示文摘To efficiently recycle valuable metals such as chromium and nickel in stainless steel dust,self-reduction experiments were carried out to study the reduction mechanism of metal oxides in coal composite stainless steel dust hot briquette,which is defined as a CCSB here.Self-reduction of CCSB is proceeded by volatile matter and fixed carbon contained within CCSB.Experiments were performed to study the effects of temperature and carbon to oxygen(C/O_(Coal))ratio on self-reduction of CCSB.At 1 400 and 1 450℃,volatile matter in coal used for experiment could take the place of about 40% of fixed carbon in coal.Under the present experimental conditions,reduction product of chromium appears as FeCr_2O_4,Cr_2O_3,Cr_7C_3,and[Cr]in turn during reduction.To evaluate the formation of metal nuggets in self-reduction process of CCSB,metal nuggets containing chromium and nickel were observed in outside of reduction products under various conditions,and thermodynamic equilibrium calculation was carried out for possible products and formation of molten metal by fixed carbon.SEM and EDS analyses were made for metal nugget and slag in reduced product.The results reveal that it is reasonable to achieve the metal nuggets at 1 450 ℃,0.8 of C/OCoalratio and 20 min of reduction time.The nugget formation can indicate one innovative process for comprehensive utilization of stainless steel dust. | Sok-chol RI Man-sheng CHU Shuang-yin CHEN Zheng-gen LIU Hun HONG | 2016 | Journal of Iron and Steel Research(International)2016,23,4: | 6 |

| 18 | A micropore array-based solid lift-off method for highly efficient and controllable cell alignment and spreading显示文摘Interpretation of cell–cell and cell-microenvironment interactions is critical for both advancing knowledge of basic biology and promoting applications of regenerative medicine.Cell patterning has been widely investigated in previous studies.However,the reported methods cannot simultaneously realize precise control of cell alignment and adhesion/spreading with a high efficiency at a high throughput.Here,a novel solid lift-off method with a micropore array as a shadow mask was proposed.Efficient and precise control of cell alignment and adhesion/spreading are simultaneously achieved via an ingeniously designed shadow mask,which contains large micropores(capture pores)in central areas and small micropores(spreading pores)in surrounding areas contributing to capture/alignment and adhesion/spreading control,respectively.The solid lift-off functions as follows:(1)protein micropattern generates through both the capture and spreading pores,(2)cell capture/alignment control is realized through the capture pores,and(3)cell adhesion/spreading is controlled through previously generated protein micropatterns after lift-off of the shadow mask.High-throughput(2.4–3.2×10^(4) cells/cm 2)cell alignments were achieved with high efficiencies(86.2±3.2%,56.7±9.4%and 51.1±4.0%for single-cell,double-cell,and triple-cell alignments,respectively).Precise control of cell spreading and applications for regulating cell skeletons and cell–cell junctions were investigated and verified using murine skeletal muscle myoblasts.To the best of our knowledge,this is the first report to demonstrate highly efficient and controllable multicell alignment and adhesion/spreading simultaneously via a simple solid lift-off operation.This study successfully fills a gap in literatures and promotes the effective and reproducible application of cell patterning in the fields of both basic mechanism studies and applied medicine. | Tingting Hun Yaoping Liu Yechang Guo Yan Sun Yubo Fan Wei Wang | 2020 | Microsystems & Nanoengineering2020,6,1: | 1 |
