2Mechanism of phthalic acid collector in flotation separation of fluorite and rare earth显示文摘The mechanism of phthalic acid,a dicarboxylic acid collector,in flotation separation of fluorite and rare earth(RE)was studied in this paper.The experimental data of flotation show that phthalic acid,as the collector,can realize highly efficient separation of fluorite and rare earth under weakly acidic conditions.The adsorption mechanism of phthalic acid on the surface of fluorite and bastnaesite was analyzed in this paper by means of the zeta potential measurement,the Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR),the X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)and the stability constant measurement of active metal ion and phthalic acid coo rdination complex.According to the zeta potential testing results,the surfaces of fluorite adsorb the collector phthalate ion with negative charge under weakly acidic conditions which,in turn,increases its electronegativity and results in the motion of its potential.After the reaction between phthalic acid and fluorite ores under weakly acidic conditions,the peak of the fluorite ores is found to have significant changes in the FT-IR results,indicating strong chemical adsorption on the surfaces of phthalic acid and fluorite ores.According to the XPS analysis,the peak of benzene ring of phthalic acid is as high as 2%on the surface of fluorite,while no obvious characteristic peak of benzene ring is found on the surface of bastnaesite.According to the pH potentiometric titration results,the stability constant Ktotal of calcium phthalate complex within the acid range is higher than the stability constant K’total of cerium phthalate complex,indicating that the complex generated between phthalic acid and Ca^(2+)is more stable than the complex generated between phthalic acid and Ce^(3+).The possible reason is that Ca^(2+),with the highest reticular density,plays a prevailing role in the octahedron structure of fluorite amidst the acidic media.As the active point of flotation,Ca^(2+)works with the carboxyl groups of the collector phthalic acid(-C=O-)to form polycyclic calcium phthalate complex.Sheng Chang Mei Li Kai Gao Dongliang Zhang Haijun Duan Linlin Ma Zheng Ruan 2022Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,1:4
3Targeting slug-mediated non-canonical activation of c-Met to overcome chemo-resistance in metastatic ovarian cancer cells显示文摘Metastasis-associated drug resistance accounts for high mortality in ovarian cancer and remains to be a major barrier for effective treatment. In this study, SKOV3/T4, a metastatic subpopulation of ovarian cancer SKOV3 cells, was enriched to explore potential interventions against metastaticassociated drug resistance. Quantitative genomic and functional analyses were performed and found that slug was significantly increased in the SKOV3/T4 subpopulation and contributed to the high resistance of SKOV3/T4. Further studies showed that slug activated c-Met in a ligand-independent manner due to elevated levels of fibronectin and provoked integrin α V function, which was confirmed by the significant correlation of slug and p-Met levels in 121 ovarian cancer patient samples. Intriguingly,c-Met inhibitor(s) exhibited greatly enhanced anti-cancer effects in slug-positive ovarian cancer models both in vitro and in vivo. Additionally, IHC analyses revealed that slug levels were highly correlated with reduced survival of ovarian cancer patients. 12Influence of meteorological factors on open biomass burning at a background site in Northeast China显示文摘Biomass burning(BB)is a very important emission source that significantly adversely impacts regional air quality.BB produces a large number of primary organic aerosol(POA)and black carbon(BC).Besides,BB also provides many precursors for secondary organic aerosol(SOA)generation.In this work,the ratio of levoglucosan(LG)to organic carbon(OC)and the fire hotspots map was used to identify the open biomass burning(OBB)events,which occurred in two representative episodes,October 13 to November 30,2020,and April1 to April 30,2021.The ratio of organic aerosol(OA)to reconstructed PM_(2.5)concentration(PM_(2.5)^(*))increased with the increase of LG/OC.When LG/OC ratio is higher than 0.03,the highest OA/PM_(2.5)^(*)ratio can reach 80%,which means the contribution of OBB to OA is crucial.According to the ratio of LG to K^(+),LG to mannosan(MN)and the regional characteristics of Longfengshan,it can be determined that the crop residuals are the main fuel.The occurrence of OBB coincides with farmers’preferred choices,i.e.,burning biomass in“bright weather”.The“bright weather”refers to the meteorological conditions with high temperature,low humidity,and without rain.Meteorological factors indirectly affect regional biomass combustion pollution by influencing farmers’active choices.Yulong Wang Linlin Liang Wanyun Xu Chang Liu Hongbing Cheng Yusi Liu Gen Zhang Xiaobin Xu Dajiang Yu Peng Wang Qingli Song Jiumeng Liu Yuan Cheng 2024Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,4:0

14Few-layered hexagonal boron nitride nanosheets stabilized Pt NPs for oxidation promoted adsorptive desulfurization of fuel oil显示文摘A few-layered hexagonal boron nitride nanosheets stabilized platinum nanoparticles(Pt/h-BNNS)is engineered for oxidation-promoted adsorptive desulfurization(OPADS)of fuel oil.It was found that the few-layered structure and the defective sites of h-BNNS not only are beneficial to the stabilization of Pt NPs but also favor the adsorption of aromatic sulfides.By employing Pt/h-BNNS with a Pt loading amount of 1.19 wt%as the active adsorbent and air as an oxidant,a 98.0%sulfur removal over dibenzothiophene(DBT)is achieved along with a total conversion of the DBT to the corresponding sulfones(DBTO_(2)).Detailed experiments show that the excellent desulfurization activity originates from the few-layered structure of h-BNNS and the high catalytic activity of Pt NPs.In addition,the OPADS system with Pt/h-BNNS as the active adsorbent shows remarkable stability in desulfurization performance with the existence of different interferents such as olefin,and aromatic hydrocarbons.Besides,the Pt/h-BNNS can be recycled 12 times without a significant decrease in desulfurization performance.Also,a process flow diagram is proposed for deep desulfurization of fuel oil and recovery of high value-added products,which would promote the industrial application of such OPADS strategy.Peiwen Wu Xin Song Linlin Chen Lianwen He Yingcheng Wu Duanjian Tao Jing He Chang Deng Linjie Lu Yanhong Chao Mingqing Hua Wenshuai Zhu 2024Green Energy & Environment2024,9,3:0
15Influence of High Relative Humidity on Secondary Organic Carbon: Observations at a Background Site in East China显示文摘To investigate the impacts of relative humidity(RH) on secondary organic aerosol(SOA) concentrations and chemical reactions, the carbonaceous aerosol components [i.e., organic carbon(OC) and element carbon(EC)] were quantified in daily PM2.5 samples collected at a background site in East China during summer 2015. Based on the method of EC-tracer, the concentration of secondary organic carbon(SOC) demonstrated an obvious negative relationship with RH higher than 60%. Moreover, the ratio of SOC/EC also exhibited obvious decreasing trends with increasing RH, indicating negative effects for chemical production of SOA under high RH conditions. Due to high RH,photochemistry was weakened, gaseous oxidant concentrations was lowered(e.g., significantly decreased O3 levels),and the production rates of SOA were relatively low. On the other hand, because of more water uptake under higher RH conditions, the aerosol droplet acidity was reduced and enhancement of SOA formation by acidity was accordingly absent. In addition, high RH also plays an important role in changing viscosity of pre-existing aerosol coatings,which can affect reactive uptake yield of SOA. Overall, the results from this study imply that SOA production may be more associated with photochemical processes, while aqueous-phase chemistry is not very important for some SOA formation in a moist ambient environment. In the ambient atmosphere, oxidant concentrations, reaction rates,airborne species, etc., are highly variable. 16利用雷达差分干涉测量技术获取汶川MS 8.0地震形变场显示文摘利用ENVISAT/ASAR和ALOS/PALSAR数据,结合两路差分干涉测量技术获得了汶川地震的同震形变信息和震前、震后地面在卫星视线(light of sight,简称LOS)方向上的形变特征。结果表明,汶川地震引起的地面形变范围广,程度大,地震形变沿断层向北北东向扩展,所形成的差分干涉条纹明显。地面的形变特征对于推断断层的性质,研究地震形变和地震发育特征具有重要的参考价值。另外,将同震雷达差分干涉测量的结果与利用USGS发布的汶川地震有限元断层模型(finite fault model)反演的LOS方向的形变进行了对比验证,发现二者在断裂带的上盘具有较好的一致性,但在下盘却有较大的误差。通过不同传感器干涉结果的对比发现,L波段的雷达干涉结果更能够反映汶川大地震在龙门山断裂带附近的地面形变信息。董玉森 Ge Linlin Hsing-Chung Chang Alex Hay-Man Ng 张奎 2009地质科技情报2009,,6:0
17Carbon dots modified nanoflower petals with super enhanced nitrogen electro-reduction efficiency显示文摘Nitrogen electro-reduction reaction(NERR)is a promising alternative method for ammonia production to the Haber-Bosch approach due to mild reaction conditions and free harmful by-product emission.A formidable challenge in bringing NERR closer to the practical application is developing an electrocatalyst which can simultaneously improve the Faraday efficiency and reduce the reaction over-potential.Herein,we fabricated a catalyst of nitrogen-doped carbon dots modified copper-phosphate nanoflower petals(Cu Po-NCDs NF)via a self-assembly method.The flower structure endowed the Cu Po-NCDs NF with large specific surface area,and thus enabled more active sites to be exposed.In particular,we demonstrated that the NCDs modified Cu Po petals with flower-like structure can accelerate the interfacial proton-electron transfer,suppressing the competing hydrogen evolution reaction and promoting the desired NERR process.Ultimately,for the CuPo-NCDs NF catalyzed NERR,the FE_(NH_(3))and the reaction potential both were boosted,the resultant energy efficiency of NERR reached a record-breaking value of 56.5%,and the NH_(3)yield rate increased by 7 times compared to NCDs.This study provides a novel catalyst with a new pathway to boost the NERR.Yang Zhou Xuanzhao Lu Yu-chung Chang Yanwen Ma Linlin Wang Jianrong Zhang Junjie Zhu 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,6:0
18Upconversion luminescence Ca-Mg-Si bioactive glasses synthesized using the containerless processing technique显示文摘In this study,a series of Er^3+/Yb^3+co-doped Ca-Mg-Si glasses were prepared via the containerless processing.Phase composition and luminescent properties of the prepared materials were investigated through XRD and spectrometry,and bioactivity,biocompatibility and cytotoxicity were evaluated.The XRD patterns indicated that akermanite(AKT)ceramic powders were completely transformed into the glassy phase(AKT-G,EYA)through the containerless processing,which exhibit upconversion luminescence,and the luminescence intensity increased with the increase of the doping amount of Er^3+ and Yb^3+.High amount of Yb^3+doping and existence of Ca^2+in glasses resulted in more intensive red-light emission.The SEM observation,combined with EDS analysis,and cell culture experiments showed that the as-prepared glasses were nontoxic,biocompatible and bioactive.All these results demonstrated that the containerless processing is a facile method for preparing homogeneous luminescent bioactive glasses.Furthermore,this luminescent Ca-Mg-Si glasses may be used as bone implant materials to study the in vivo distribution of degradation products of bone implants,which may be of great significance for the development and clinical application of new bone grafting materials.Qin LI Min XING Lan CHANG Linlin MA Zhi CHEN Jianrong QIU Jianding YU Jiang CHANG 2019Frontiers of Materials Science2019,13,4:0
19Pathogenesis and drug response of iPSC-derived cardiomyocytes from two Brugada syndrome patients with different Nav1.5-subunit mutations显示文摘Brugada syndrome(BrS)is a complex genetic cardiac ion channel disease that causes a high predisposition to sudden cardiac death.Considering that its heterogeneity in clinical manifestations may result from genetic background,the application of patient-specific induced pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes(iPSC-CMs)may help to reveal cell phenotype characteristics underlying different genetic variations.Here,to verify and compare the pathogenicity of mutations(SCN5A c.4213G>A and SCN1B c.590C>T)identified from two BrS patients,we generated two novel BrS iPS cell lines that carried missense mutations in SCN5A or SCN1B,compared their structures and electrophysiology,and evaluated the safety of quinidine in patient-specific iPSC-derived CMs.Compared to the control group,BrS-CMs showed a significant reduction in sodium current,prolonged action potential duration,and varying degrees of decreased Vmax,but no structural difference.After applying different concentrations of quinidine,drug-induced cardiotoxicity was not observed within 3-fold unbound effective therapeutic plasma concentration(ETPC).The data presented proved that iPSC-CMs with variants in SCN5A c.4213G>A or SCN1B c.590C>T are able to recapitulate single-cell phenotype features of BrS and respond appropriately to quinidine without increasing incidence of arrhythmic events.Yue Zhu Linlin Wang Chang Cui Huiyuan Qin Hongwu Chen Shaojie Chen Yongping Lin Hongyi Cheng Xiaohong Jiang Minglong Chen 2021The Journal of Biomedical Research2021,35,5:0
