Orbit determination and time synchronization for a GEO/IGSO satellite navigation constellation with regional tracking network显示文摘Aiming at regional services, the space segment of COMPASS (Phase I) satellite navigation system is a constellation of Geostationary Earth Orbit (GEO),Inclined Geostationary Earth Orbit (IGSO) and Medium Earth Orbit (MEO) satellites.Precise orbit determination (POD) for the satellites is limited by the geographic distribution of regional tracking stations.Independent time synchronization (TS) system is developed to supplement the regional tracking network, and satellite clock errors and orbit data may be obtained by simultaneously processing both tracking data and TS data.Consequently, inconsistency between tracking system and TS system caused by remaining instrumental errors not calibrated may decrease navigation accuracy. On the other hand,POD for the mixed constellation of GEO/IGSO/MEO with the regional tracking network leads to parameter estimations that are highly correlated.Notorious example of correlation is found between GEO's orbital elements and its clock errors. We estimate orbital elements and clock errors for a 3GEO+2IGSO constellation in this study using a multi-satellite precise orbit determination (MPOD) strategy, with which clock error elimination algorithm is applied to separate orbital and clock estimates to improve numerical efficiency.Satellite Laser Ranging (SLR) data are used to evaluate User Ranging Error (URE),which is the orbital error projected on a receiver's line-of-sight direction.Two-way radio-wave time transfer measurements are used to evaluate clock errors.Experimenting with data from the regional tracking network,we conclude that the fitting of code data is better than 1 m in terms of Root-Mean-Square (RMS),and fitting of carrier phase is better than 1 cm.For orbital evaluation, difference between computed receiver-satellite ranging based on estimated orbits and SLR measurements is better than 1 m (RMS).For clock estimates evaluation,2-hour linear-fitting shows that the satellite clock rates are about 1.E-10 s/s,while receiver clock rates are about 1×10 13-1×10 12 s/s.For the 72-hour POD experiment, the average differences between POD satellite clock rates estimates and clock measurements based on TS system are about 1×10 13 s/s,and for receiver clock rates, the differences are about 1×10 15 s/s. | ZHOU ShanShi HU XiaoGong WU Bin LIU Li QU WeiJing GUO Rui HE Feng CAO YueLing Wu XiaoLi ZHU LingFeng SHI Xin TAN HongLi | 2011 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2011,54,6: | 44
Inflammatory response and neuronal necrosis in rats with cerebral ischemia显示文摘In the middle cerebral artery occlusion model of ischemic injury, inflammation primarily occurs in the infarct and peripheral zones. In the ischemic zone, neurons undergo necrosis and apoptosis, and a large number of reactive microglia are present. In the present study, we investigated the pathological changes in a rat model of middle cerebral artery occlusion. Neuronal necrosis appeared 12 hours after middle cerebral artery occlusion, and the peak of neuronal apoptosis appeared 4 to 6 days after middle cerebral artery occlusion. Inflammatory cytokines and microglia play a role in damage and repair after middle cerebral artery occlusion. Serum intercellular cell adhesion molecule-1 levels were positively correlated with the permeability of the blood-brain barrier. These findings indicate that intercellular cell adhesion molecule-1 may be involved in blood-brain barrier injury, microglial activation, and neuronal apoptosis. Inhibiting blood-brain barrier leakage may alleviate neuronal injury following ischemia. | Lingfeng Wu Kunnan Zhang Guozhu Hu Haiyu Yang Chen Xie Xiaomu Wu | 2014 | Neural Regeneration Research2014,9,19: | 19
A deep learning-integrated micro-CT image analysis pipeline for quantifying rice lodging resistance-related traits显示文摘Lodging is a common problemin rice, reducing its yield andmechanical harvesting efficiency.Rice architecture is a key aspect of its domestication and a major factor that limits its high productivity. The ideal rice culm structure,includingmajor_axis_culm,minor axis_culm,andwall thickness_culm,is critical for improving lodging resistance. However, the traditionalmethod ofmeasuring rice culms is destructive, time consuming, and labor intensive. In this study,we used a high-throughput micro-CT-RGB imaging system and deep learning(SegNet)todevelopa high-throughputmicro-CTimageanalysis pipelinethatcanextract 24 riceculmmorphological traits and lodging resistance-related traits. When manual and automatic measurements were compared at themature stage, the mean absolute percentage errors for major_axis_culm,minor_axis_culm,andwall_thickness_culmin 104 indica rice accessionswere 6.03%,5.60%,and 9.85%,respectively,and the R^(2) valueswere 0.799,0.818,and 0.623.We also builtmodels of bending stress using culmtraits at the mature and tillering stages, and the R^(2) values were 0.722 and 0.544,respectively.The modeling results indicated that this method can quantify lodging resistance nondestructively, even at an early growth stage. In addition,we also evaluated the relationships of bending stress toshoot dryweight, culm density, and drought-related traits and found that plants with greater resistance to bending stress had slightly higher biomass, culm density, and culm area but poorer drought resistance. In conclusion,we developed a deep learning-integrated micro-CT image analysis pipeline to accurately quantify the phenotypic traits of rice culms in4.6 min per plant;this pipeline will assist in future high-throughput screening of large rice populations for lodging resistance. | Di Wu Dan Wu Hui Feng Lingfeng Duan Guoxing Dai Xiao Liu Kang Wang Peng Yang Guoxing Chen Alan P.Gay John H.Doonan Zhiyou Niu Lizhong Xiong Wanneng Yang | 2021 | Plant Communications2021,2,2: | 7
Smart Substation Integration Technology and Its Application in Distribution Power Grid显示文摘At present, smart substations use the IEC61850 standard based on the architectural framework of three layers and two networks to realize information digitization and advanced applications.Although the smart substation offers many improvements in design, equipment manufacturing, and construction, the intelligent devices used in smart substations are costly, and are also difficult to maintain since they are dispersed within a single unit.Functionality optimization and device integration, thus, have become important issues in smart substation development. This paper presents an integrated solution and implementation process for a smart substation system. In the process layer,an integrated intelligence component is developed that functions both as an intelligent terminal and a merging unit.In the bay layer,an integrated station-area protection measurement and control master device is designed to achieve such functions as protection, monitoring, control, fault recorder, and power quality monitoring. Finally,in the station control layer,an integrated information platform is established to bring together various system functions and to promote interactive sharing.Integration technology improves the economy and practicality of the smart substation, especially in a distribution power grid. | Qipeng Song Wanxing Sheng Lingfeng Kou Dongbo Zhao Ziping Wu Hengfu Fang Xiaolong Zhao | 2016 | CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2016,2,4: | 6
The Genomes of the Allohexaploid Echinochloa crus-galli and Its Progenitors Provide Insights into Polyploidization-Driven Adaptation显示文摘The hexaploid species Echinochloa crus-galli is one of the most detrimental weeds in crop fields, especially in rice paddies. Its evolutionary history is similar to that of bread wheat, arising through polyploidization after hybridization between a tetraploid and a diploid species. In this study,we generated and analyzed high-quality genome sequences of diploid(E.haploclada),tetraploid(E.oryzicola),and hexaploid(E.crus-galli)Echinochloa species.Gene family analysis showed a significant loss of disease-resistance genes such as those encoding NB-ARC domain-containing proteins during Echinochloa polyploidization, contrary to their significant expansionduring wheat polyploidization, suggesting that natural selection might favor reduced investment in resistance in this weed to maximize its growth and reproduction. In contrast to the asymmetric patterns of genome evolution observed in wheat and other crops,no significant differences in selection pressure were detected between the subgenomes in E.oryzicola and E.crus-galli.In addition, distinctive differences in subgenome transcriptome dynamics during hexaploidization were observed between E.crus-galli and bread wheat.Collectively, our study documents genomic mechanisms underlying the adaptation of a major agricultural weed during polyploidization. The genomic and transcriptomic resources of three Echinochloa species and new insights into the polyploidization-driven adaptive evolution would be useful for future breeding cereal crops. | Chu-Yu Ye Dongya Wu Lingfeng Mao Lei Jia Jie Qiu Sangting Lao Meihong Chen Bowen Jiang Wei Tang Qiong Peng Lang Pan Lifeng Wang Xiaoxiao Feng Longbiao Guo Chulong Zhang Elizabeth A.Kellogg Kenneth M.Olsen Lianyang Bai Longjiang Fan | 2020 | Molecular Plant2020,13,9: | 4
Roles of MicroRNAs in the Caenorhabditis elegans Nervous System显示文摘The first microRNA was discovered in Caenorhabditis elegans in 1993,and since then, thousands of microRNAs have been identified from almost all eukaryotic organisms examined.MicroRNAs function in many biological events such as cell fate determination, metabolism, apoptosis, and carcinogenesis. So far, more than 250 microRNAs have been identified in C.elegans;however, functions for most of these microRNAs are still unknown.A small number of C.elegans microRNAs are associated with known physiological roles such as developmental timing, cell differentiation, stress response, and longevity. In this review,we summarize known roles of microRNAs in neuronal differentiation and function of C.elegans, and discuss interesting perspectives for future studies. | Lingfeng Meng Liang Chen Zhaoyong Li Zheng-Xing Wu Ge Shan | 2013 | Journal of Genetics and Genomics2013,40,9: | 4
Puerarin decreases hypoxia inducible factor-1 alpha in the hippocampus of vascular dementia rats显示文摘In this study, a rat vascular dementia model was established by permanent bilateral common carotid arterial occlusion. Rats were intraperitoneally injected with puerarin 3 days before modeling, for 45 successive days. Results demonstrated that in treated animals hippocampal structures were clear, nerve cells arranged neatly, and cytoplasm was rich in Nissl bodies. The number of cells positive for hypoxia inducible factor-1 alpha, erythropoietin and endothelial nitric oxide synthase was reduced; and the learning and memory abilities of rats were significantly improved. Our experimental findings indicate that puerarin can significantly improve learning and memory in a vascular dementia model, and that the underlying mechanism may be associated with the regulation of the expression of hypoxia inducible factor-1 alpha. | Haiqin Wu Huqing Wang Bei Zhang Guilian Zhang Ru Zhang Lingfeng Zhang | 2012 | Neural Regeneration Research2012,7,6: | 3
Environmental RNA interference in animals显示文摘Animals interact with their environments all the time, and must react to all kinds of factors present in the environments.Environmental RNA interference refers to the phenomenon that exogenous RNA molecules can enter cells of certain animal species and interfere with gene expression of these animals. These exogenous RNAs may be molecules in animal food,or may be present in the living environment from other sources.Molecular pathways for the cell entry of environmental RNAs and further for their functionality in gene interference have started to be revealed in the animal model Caenorhabditis elegans. Here we highlight some known examples of environmental RNA interference(RNAi)in animals and introduce the molecular mechanisms underneath. | MENG LingFeng CHEN Liang LI ZhaoYong WU ZhengXing SHAN Ge | 2013 | Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,35: | 3
Costunolide covalently targets NACHT domain of NLRP3 to inhibit inflammasome activation and alleviate NLRP3-driven inflammatory diseases显示文摘The NLRP3 inflammasome’s core and most specific protein,NLRP3,has a variety of functions in inflammation-driven diseases.Costunolide(COS)is the major active ingredient of the traditional Chinese medicinal herb Saussurea lappa and has anti-inflammatory activity, but the principal mechanism and molecular target of COS remain unclear. Here,we show that COS covalently binds to cysteine 598 in NACHT domain of NLRP3,altering the ATPase activity and assembly of NLRP3 inflammasome. We declare COS’s great anti-inflammasome efficacy in macrophages and disease models of gouty arthritis and ulcerative colitis via inhibiting NLRP3 inflammasome activation. We also reveal that theα-methylene-γ-butyrolactone motif in sesquiterpene lactone is the certain active group in inhibiting NLRP3 activation.Taken together,NLRP3 is identified as a direct target of COS for its anti-inflammasome activity.COS,especially theα-methylene-γ-butyrolactone motif in COS structure, might be used to design and produce novel NLRP3 inhibitors as a lead compound. | Haowen Xu Jiahao Chen Pan Chen Weifeng Li Jingjing Shao Shanshan Hong Yi Wang Lingfeng Chen Wu Luo Guang Liang | 2023 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,2: | 2

Targeted mutagenesis in Arabidopsis thaliana using CRISPR-Casi2b/C2ci^°°显示文摘Casi2b/C2ci is a newly identified class 2 CRISPR endonuclease that was recently engineered for targeted genome editing in mammals and rice.To explore the potential applications of the CRISPR-Casi2b system in the dicot Arabidopsis thaliana,we selected BvCasi2b and BhCasi2b v4 for analysis. We successfully used both endonucleases to induce mutations, perform multiplex genome editing, and create large deletions at multiple loci.No significant mutations were detected at potential off-target sites.Analysis of the insertion/deletion frequencies and patterns of mutants generated via targeted gene mutagenesis highlighted the potential utility of CRISPRCasi2b systems for genome editing in Arabidopsis. | Fan Wu Xinyu Qiao Yafei Zhao Ziyi Zhang Yifan Gao Lingfeng Shi Haokun Du Lulu Wang Ya-Jie Zhang Yu Zhang Langyu Liu Quan Wang Dejing Kong | 2020 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2020,62,11: | 1
An integrated rice panicle phenotyping method based on X-ray and RGB scanning and deep learning显示文摘Rice panicle phenotyping is required in rice breeding for high yield and grain quality. To fully evaluate spikelet and kernel traits without threshing and hulling, using X-ray and RGB scanning,we developed an integrated rice panicle phenotyping system and a corresponding image analysis pipeline. We compared five methods of counting spikelets and found that Faster R-CNN achieved high accuracy(R~2 of 0.99)and speed.Faster R-CNN was also applied to indica and japonica classification and achieved 91%accuracy.The proposed integrated panicle phenotyping method offers benefit for rice functional genetics and breeding. | Lejun Yu Jiawei Shi Chenglong Huang Lingfeng Duan Di Wu Debao Fu Changyin Wu Lizhong Xiong Wanneng Yang Qian Liu | 2021 | The Crop Journal2021,9,1: | 1
Panicle-3D: A low-cost 3D-modeling method for rice panicles based on deep learning, shape from silhouette, and supervoxel clustering显示文摘Self-occlusions are common in rice canopy images and strongly influence the calculation accuracies of panicle traits. Such interference can be largely eliminated if panicles are phenotyped at the 3 D level.Research on 3 D panicle phenotyping has been limited. Given that existing 3 D modeling techniques do not focus on specified parts of a target object, an efficient method for panicle modeling of large numbers of rice plants is lacking. This paper presents an automatic and nondestructive method for 3 D panicle modeling. The proposed method integrates shoot rice reconstruction with shape from silhouette, 2 D panicle segmentation with a deep convolutional neural network, and 3 D panicle segmentation with ray tracing and supervoxel clustering. A multiview imaging system was built to acquire image sequences of rice canopies with an efficiency of approximately 4 min per rice plant. The execution time of panicle modeling per rice plant using 90 images was approximately 26 min. The outputs of the algorithm for a single rice plant are a shoot rice model, surface shoot rice model, panicle model, and surface panicle model, all represented by a list of spatial coordinates. The efficiency and performance were evaluated and compared with the classical structure-from-motion algorithm. The results demonstrated that the proposed method is well qualified to recover the 3 D shapes of rice panicles from multiview images and is readily adaptable to rice plants of diverse accessions and growth stages. The proposed algorithm is superior to the structure-from-motion method in terms of texture preservation and computational efficiency. The sample images and implementation of the algorithm are available online. This automatic, cost-efficient, and nondestructive method of 3 D panicle modeling may be applied to high-throughput 3 D phenotyping of large rice populations. | Dan Wu Lejun Yu Junli Ye Ruifang Zhai Lingfeng Duan Lingbo Liu Nai Wu Zedong Geng Jingbo Fu Chenglong Huang Shangbin Chen Qian Liu Wanneng Yang | 2022 | The Crop Journal2022,10,5: | 1

Using naturalistic driving data to identify driving style based on longitudinal driving operation conditions显示文摘Purpose–An individual’s driving style significantly affects overall traffic safety. However, driving style is difficult to identify due to temporal and spatial differences and scene heterogeneity of driving behavior data.As such, the study of real-time driving-style identification methods is of great significance for formulating personalized driving strategies, improving traffic safety and reducing fuel consumption. This study aims to establish a driving style recognition framework based on longitudinal driving operation conditions(DOCs)using a machine learning model and natural driving data collected by a vehicle equipped with an advanced driving assistance system(ADAS).Design/methodology/approach–Specifically,a driving style recognition framework based on longitudinal DOCs was established. To train the model,a real-world driving experiment was conducted.First, the driving styles of 44 drivers were preliminarily identified through natural driving data and video data;drivers were categorized through a subjective evaluation as conservative, moderate or aggressive. Then, based on the ADAS driving data,a criterion for extracting longitudinal DOCs was developed.Third, taking the ADAS data from 47 Kms of the two test expressways as the research object, six DOCs were calibrated and the characteristic data sets of the different DOCs were extracted and constructed. Finally, four machine learning classification(MLC)models were used to classify and predict driving style based on the natural driving data.Findings–The results showed that six longitudinal DOCs were calibrated according to the proposed calibration criterion.Cautious drivers undertook the largest proportion of the free cruise condition(FCC),while aggressive drivers primarily undertook the FCC,following steady condition and relative approximation condition.Compared with cautious and moderate drivers, aggressive drivers adopted a smaller time headway(THW)and distance headway(DHW).THW,time-to-collision(TTC)and DHW showed highly significant differences in driving style identification, while longitudinal acceleration(LA)showed no significant difference in driving style identification.Speed and TTC showed no significant difference between moderate and aggressive drivers. In consideration of the cross-validation results and model prediction results, the overall hierarchical prediction performance ranking of the four studied machine learning models under the current sample data set was extreme gradient boosting>multi-layer perceptron>logistic regression>support vector machine.Originality/value–The contribution of this research is to propose a criterion and solution for using longitudinal driving behavior data to label longitudinal DOCs and rapidly identify driving styles based on those DOCs and MLC models. This study provides a reference for real-time online driving style identification in vehicles equipped with onboard data acquisition equipment, such as ADAS. | Nengchao Lyu Yugang Wang Chaozhong Wu Lingfeng Peng Alieu Freddie Thomas | 2022 | Journal of Intelligent and Connected Vehicles2022,5,1: | 0
Immunity-and-matrix-regulatory cells enhance cartilage regeneration for meniscus injuries: a phase I dose-escalation trial显示文摘Immunity-and-matrix-regulatory cells(IMRCs)derived from human embryonic stem cells have unique abilities in modulating immunity and regulating the extracellular matrix, which could be mass-produced with stable biological properties.Despite resemblance to mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)in terms of self-renew and tri-lineage differentiation, the ability of IMRCs to repair the meniscus and the underlying mechanism remains undetermined. Here,we showed that IMRCs demonstrated stronger immunomodulatory and pro-regenerative potential than umbilical cord MSCs when stimulated by synovial fluid from patients with meniscus injury.Following injection into the knees of rabbits with meniscal injury,IMRCs enhanced endogenous fibrocartilage regeneration. In the dose-escalating phase I clinical trial(NCT03839238)with eighteen patients recruited,we found that intra-articular IMRCs injection in patients was safe over 12 months post-grafting.Furthermore,the effective results of magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)of meniscus repair and knee functional scores suggested that 5×107 cells are optimal for meniscus injury treatment. In summary,we present the first report of a phase I clinical trial using IMRCs to treat meniscus injury. Our results demonstrated that intra-articular injection of IMRCs is a safe and effective therapy by providing a permissive niche for cartilage regeneration. | Liangjiang Huang Song Zhang Jun Wu Baojie Guo Tingting Gao Sayed Zulfiqar Ali Shah Bo Huang Yajie Li Bo Zhu Jiaqi Fan Liu Wang Yani Xiao Wenjing Liu Yao Tian Zhengyu Fang Yingying Lv Lingfeng Xie Sheng Yao Gaotan Ke Xiaolin Huang Ying Huang Yujuan Li Yi Jia Zhongwen Li Guihai Feng Yan Huo Wei Li Qi Zhou Jie Hao Baoyang Hu Hong Chen | 2023 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,12: | 0
