Orbit determination and time synchronization for a GEO/IGSO satellite navigation constellation with regional tracking network显示文摘Aiming at regional services, the space segment of COMPASS (Phase I) satellite navigation system is a constellation of Geostationary Earth Orbit (GEO),Inclined Geostationary Earth Orbit (IGSO) and Medium Earth Orbit (MEO) satellites.Precise orbit determination (POD) for the satellites is limited by the geographic distribution of regional tracking stations.Independent time synchronization (TS) system is developed to supplement the regional tracking network, and satellite clock errors and orbit data may be obtained by simultaneously processing both tracking data and TS data.Consequently, inconsistency between tracking system and TS system caused by remaining instrumental errors not calibrated may decrease navigation accuracy. On the other hand,POD for the mixed constellation of GEO/IGSO/MEO with the regional tracking network leads to parameter estimations that are highly correlated.Notorious example of correlation is found between GEO's orbital elements and its clock errors. We estimate orbital elements and clock errors for a 3GEO+2IGSO constellation in this study using a multi-satellite precise orbit determination (MPOD) strategy, with which clock error elimination algorithm is applied to separate orbital and clock estimates to improve numerical efficiency.Satellite Laser Ranging (SLR) data are used to evaluate User Ranging Error (URE),which is the orbital error projected on a receiver's line-of-sight direction.Two-way radio-wave time transfer measurements are used to evaluate clock errors.Experimenting with data from the regional tracking network,we conclude that the fitting of code data is better than 1 m in terms of Root-Mean-Square (RMS),and fitting of carrier phase is better than 1 cm.For orbital evaluation, difference between computed receiver-satellite ranging based on estimated orbits and SLR measurements is better than 1 m (RMS).For clock estimates evaluation,2-hour linear-fitting shows that the satellite clock rates are about 1.E-10 s/s,while receiver clock rates are about 1×10 13-1×10 12 s/s.For the 72-hour POD experiment, the average differences between POD satellite clock rates estimates and clock measurements based on TS system are about 1×10 13 s/s,and for receiver clock rates, the differences are about 1×10 15 s/s.ZHOU ShanShi HU XiaoGong WU Bin LIU Li QU WeiJing GUO Rui HE Feng CAO YueLing Wu XiaoLi ZHU LingFeng SHI Xin TAN HongLi 2011Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2011,54,6:44
Inflammatory response and neuronal necrosis in rats with cerebral ischemia显示文摘In the middle cerebral artery occlusion model of ischemic injury, inflammation primarily occurs in the infarct and peripheral zones. In the ischemic zone, neurons undergo necrosis and apoptosis, and a large number of reactive microglia are present. In the present study, we investigated the pathological changes in a rat model of middle cerebral artery occlusion. Neuronal necrosis appeared 12 hours after middle cerebral artery occlusion, and the peak of neuronal apoptosis appeared 4 to 6 days after middle cerebral artery occlusion. Inflammatory cytokines and microglia play a role in damage and repair after middle cerebral artery occlusion. Serum intercellular cell adhesion molecule-1 levels were positively correlated with the permeability of the blood-brain barrier. These findings indicate that intercellular cell adhesion molecule-1 may be involved in blood-brain barrier injury, microglial activation, and neuronal apoptosis. Inhibiting blood-brain barrier leakage may alleviate neuronal injury following ischemia.Lingfeng Wu Kunnan Zhang Guozhu Hu Haiyu Yang Chen Xie Xiaomu Wu 2014Neural Regeneration Research2014,9,19:19
Determination of rice panicle numbers during heading by multi-angle imaging显示文摘Plant phenomics has the potential to accelerate progress in understanding gene functions and environmental responses. Progress has been made in automating high-throughput plant phenotyping. However, few studies have investigated automated rice panicle counting. This paper describes a novel method for automatically and nonintrusively determining rice panicle numbers during the full heading stage by analyzing color images of rice plants taken from multiple angles. Pot-grown rice plants were transferred via an industrial conveyer to an imaging chamber. Color images from different angles were automatically acquired as a turntable rotated the plant. The images were then analyzed and the panicle number of each plant was determined. The image analysis pipeline consisted of extracting the i2 plane from the original color image, segmenting the image, discriminating the panicles from the rest of the plant using an artificial neural network, and calculating the panicle number in the current image. The panicle number of the plant was taken as the maximum of the panicle numbers extracted from all 12 multi-angle images. A total of 105 rice plants during the full heading stage were examined to test the performance of the method. The mean absolute error of the manual and automatic count was 0.5, with 95.3% of the plants yielding absolute errors within ± 1. The method will be useful for evaluating rice panicles and will serve as an important supplementary method for high-throughput rice phenotyping.Lingfeng Duan Chenglong Huang Guoxing Chen Lizhong Xiong Qian Liu Wanneng Yang 2015The Crop Journal2015,3,3:18

Response to Selection for Fast Growth in the Second Generation of Pacific Oyster (Crassostrea gigas)显示文摘Mass selection for fast growth was conducted in three Pacific oyster (Crassostrea gigas) stocks from China, Japan and Korea using previously established lines (CS1, JS1, and KS1). To determine whether continuous progress can be achieved by selection for growth, the progeny of three second-generation Pacific oyster lines was selected for shell height and evaluated via a 400-day farming experiment. When harvested at the end of the experiment, the selected crosses of CS2, JS2, and KS2 lines grew by 9.2%, 10.2% and 9.6% larger than the control crosses, respectively. During grow-out stage, the genetic gain of three selected lines was (10.2 ± 1.4)%, (10.4 ± 0.3)%, and (8.4 ± 1.6)%, respectively; and the corresponding realized heritability was 0.457 ± 0.143, 0.312 ± 0.071 and 0.332 ± 0.009, respectively. These results indicated that the selection for fast growth achieved steady progress in the second generation of oyster. Our work provides supportive evidence for the continuity of the Pacific oyster selective breeding program.WANG Qingzhi LI Qi KONG Lingfeng YU Ruihai 2012Journal of Ocean University of China2012,11,3:15
Kinematics and Dynamics Analysis of a Quadruped Walking Robot with Parallel Leg Mechanism显示文摘It is desired to require a walking robot for the elderly and the disabled to have large capacity, high stiffness, stability, etc. However, the existing walking robots cannot achieve these requirements because of the weight-payload ratio and simple function. Therefore,Improvement of enhancing capacity and functions of the walking robot is an important research issue.According to walking requirements and combining modularization and reconfigurable ideas,a quadruped/biped reconfigurable walking robot with parallel leg mechanism is proposed. The proposed robot can be used for both a biped and a quadruped walking robot. The kinematics and performance analysis of a 3-UPU parallel mechanism which is the basic leg mechanism of a quadruped walking robot are conducted and the structural parameters are optimized. The results show that performance of the walking robot is optimal when the circumradius R,r of the upper and lower platform of leg mechanism are 161.7 mm,57.7 mm,respectively.Based on the optimal results, the kinematics and dynamics of the quadruped walking robot in the static walking mode are derived with the application of parallel mechanism and influence coefficient theory, and the optimal coordination distribution of the dynamic load for the quadruped walking robot with over-determinate inputs is analyzed, which solves dynamic load coupling caused by the branches' constraint of the robot in the walk process.Besides laying a theoretical foundation for development of the prototype, the kinematics and dynamics studies on the quadruped walking robot also boost the theoretical research of the quadruped walking and the practical applications of parallel mechanism.WANG Hongbo SANG Lingfeng HU Xing ZHANG Dianfan YU Hongnian 2013Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2013,26,5:12
Crystal structure of cytotoxin protein suilysin from Streptococcus suis显示文摘Cholesterol-dependent cytolysins(CDC)are pore forming toxins.A prototype of the CDC family members is perfringolysin O(PFO),which directly binds to the cell membrane enriched in cholesterol, causing cell lysis. However,an exception of this general observation is intermedilysin(ILY)of Streptococcus intermedius, which requires human CD59 as a receptor in addition to cholesterol for its hemolytic activity.A possible explanation of this functional difference is the conformational variation between the C-terminal domains of the two toxins, particularly in the highly conserved undecapeptide termed tryptophan rich motif. Here,we present the crystal structure of suilysin,a CDC toxin from the infectious swine pathogen Streptococcus suis.Like PFO,suilysin does not require a host receptor for hemolytic activity;yet the crystal structure of suilysin exhibits a similar conformation in the tryptophan rich motif to ILY.This observation suggests that the current view of the structure-function relationship between CDC proteins and membrane association is far from complete.Lingfeng Xu Bo Huang Huamao Du Xuejun CZhang Jianguo Xu Xuemei Li Zihe Rao 2010Protein & Cell2010,1,1:9
Inhibitory effect of Salicornia europaea on the marine alga Skeletonema costatum显示文摘Exploiting the negative biochemical interference between plants and algal species has been suggested as a method to control harmful algal blooms. In this work,we investigated the inhibitory effect of the salt marsh halophyte Salicornia europaea against the marine alga Skeletonema costatum.S.europaea suppressed the growth of S.costatum in a nutrient-sufficient co-culture system, indicating that the inhibition of algal growth was because of the phytotoxic effect of S.europaea, rather than nutrient competition. We tested aqueous and organic extracts from S.europaea roots against S.costatum.The organic extracts inhibited growth and affected the cell size and chlorophyll a content of S.costatum in a dose-dependent manner.Among the three tested organic extracts, the methanol extract had the greatest effects on S.costatum, followed by butanol extract, and then the chloroform extract. Two flavonoids, rutin and quercetin-3-D-glucoside,were identified in the methanol extract by high performance liquid chromatography. The concentration of rutin was much higher than that of quercetin-3-D-glucoside.In an algal bioassay, rutin inhibited the growth of S.costatum and the inhibitory effect increased with increasing rutin concentration and with decreasing initial algal density. Therefore,we concluded that S.europaea negatively affects the growth of S.costatum, and that rutin,a metabolite of S.europaea, may play a role in this inhibitory effect.JIANG Dan HUANG LingFeng LIN YongQing NIE LingLing LV SuLian KUANG TingYun LI YinXin 2012Science China(Life Sciences)2012,55,6:8
An overview of the configuration and manipulation of soft robotics for on-orbit servicing显示文摘Soft robots refer to robots that are softer and more flexible when compared with conventional rigidbodied robots. Soft robots are adapted to unstructured environments due to their flexibility, deformability and energy-absorbing properties. Thus, they have tremendous application prospects in on-orbit servicing(OOS).This study discusses the configuration and manipulation of soft robotics. Usually, learning from living beings is used to develop the configurations of most soft robots. In this study, typical soft robots are introduced based on what they mimic. The discussion of manipulation is divided into two parts, namely actuation and control. The study also involves describing and comparing several types of actuations. Studies on the control of soft robots are also reviewed. In this study, potential application of soft robotics for on-orbit servicing is analyzed.A hybrid configuration and manipulation of space soft robots for future research are proposed based on the current development of soft robotics, and some challenges are discussed.Zhongliang JING Lingfeng QIAO Han PAN Yongsheng YANG Wujun CHEN 2017Science China(Information Sciences)2017,60,5:8
Transcriptome analysis and metabolic profiling reveal the key role of carotenoids in the petal coloration of Liriodendron tulipifera显示文摘Liriodendron tulipifera, also known as tuliptree,is a popular ornamental horticultural plant with extraordinary tulipshaped flowers characterized by an orange band near their base. The mechanisms underlying petal band-specific pigmentation during L.tulipifera flower development are unclear. Here,we combined nontargeted and targeted metabolomics and transcriptomics to identify a pathway cascade leading to carotenoid biosynthesis that is specifically activated in the petal band. The comparative analysis of carotenoid metabolites between L.tulipifera and Liriodendron hybrids indicates thatγ-carotene,a rare carotene in plants,is the most likely orange pigment responsible for the coloration of the petal band.Phenotypic and transcriptomic analyses of developing petals reveal that the band area is first predefined by the loss of green color.Later, the band is maintained by locally activating and repressing carotenoid and chlorophyll biosynthesis genes, respectively. Two rate-limiting genes of carotene biosynthesis, carotenoid isomerase(CRTISO)and epsilon lycopene cyclase(ε-LCY),encode the core enzymes responsible for petal band-specific orange pigmentation in L.tulipifera.In particular,a putative additionalε-LCY copy specific to L.tulipifera may contribute to the distinct petal coloration pattern, compared with L.chinense.Taken together, our work provides a first glimpse of the metabolome and transcriptome dynamics in tuliptree flower coloration and provides a valuable resource for flower breeding or metabolic engineering as well as for understanding flower evolution in an early woody angiosperm.Zhaodong Hao Siqin Liu Lingfeng Hu Jisen Shi Jinhui Chen 2020Horticulture Research2020,7,1:7
A deep learning-integrated micro-CT image analysis pipeline for quantifying rice lodging resistance-related traits显示文摘Lodging is a common problemin rice, reducing its yield andmechanical harvesting efficiency.Rice architecture is a key aspect of its domestication and a major factor that limits its high productivity. The ideal rice culm structure,includingmajor_axis_culm,minor axis_culm,andwall thickness_culm,is critical for improving lodging resistance. However, the traditionalmethod ofmeasuring rice culms is destructive, time consuming, and labor intensive. In this study,we used a high-throughput micro-CT-RGB imaging system and deep learning(SegNet)todevelopa high-throughputmicro-CTimageanalysis pipelinethatcanextract 24 riceculmmorphological traits and lodging resistance-related traits. When manual and automatic measurements were compared at themature stage, the mean absolute percentage errors for major_axis_culm,minor_axis_culm,andwall_thickness_culmin 104 indica rice accessionswere 6.03%,5.60%,and 9.85%,respectively,and the R^(2) valueswere 0.799,0.818,and 0.623.We also builtmodels of bending stress using culmtraits at the mature and tillering stages, and the R^(2) values were 0.722 and 0.544,respectively.The modeling results indicated that this method can quantify lodging resistance nondestructively, even at an early growth stage. In addition,we also evaluated the relationships of bending stress toshoot dryweight, culm density, and drought-related traits and found that plants with greater resistance to bending stress had slightly higher biomass, culm density, and culm area but poorer drought resistance. In conclusion,we developed a deep learning-integrated micro-CT image analysis pipeline to accurately quantify the phenotypic traits of rice culms in4.6 min per plant;this pipeline will assist in future high-throughput screening of large rice populations for lodging resistance.Di Wu Dan Wu Hui Feng Lingfeng Duan Guoxing Dai Xiao Liu Kang Wang Peng Yang Guoxing Chen Alan P.Gay John H.Doonan Zhiyou Niu Lizhong Xiong Wanneng Yang 2021Plant Communications2021,2,2:7
A simple way to make pre-stressed ceramics with high strength显示文摘A pre-stressing design and a simple fabrication technology to substantially improve the strength of ceramic components are presented.Residual surface compressive stress is generated in ceramic components by pressureless sintering of a green bulk coated with a thin layer of low coefficient of thermal expansion(CTE).The stress level can be controlled by changing the cross-section area ratio,Young's modulus ratio and CTE ratio of the coating.Pre-stressed ZrO_(2) ceramics coated with Al_(2)O_(3) can achieve a flexural strength of 1330±52MPa,45% higher than their uncoated counterpart.Similarly, the flexural strength of building porcelain tiles is increased by 70%,from 67±3 MPa to 114±5MPa.The damage tolerance of pre-stressed ZrO_(2) ceramics is excellent with a high residual strength of ~1200 MPa in a thermal shock test at 325℃.This simple technique can improve the mechanical performance of ceramic components with no limitation of size and shape.Yiwang Bao Fenghua Kuang Yi Sun Yueming Li Detian Wan Zongyang Shen Delong Ma Lingfeng He 2019Journal of Materiomics2019,5,4:7
Construction of multiple interfaces and dielectric/magnetic heterostructures in electromagnetic wave absorbers with enhanced absorption performance:A review显示文摘The construction of structures with multiple interfaces and dielectric/magnetic heterostructures enables the design of materials with unique physical and chemical properties, which has aroused intensive interest in scientific and technological fields.Especially, for electromagnetic(EM)wave absorption, enhanced interface polarization and improved impedence match with high Snoek's limitation could be achieved by multiple interfaces and dielectric/magnetic heterostructures, respectively, which are benificial to high-efficiency electromagnetic wave absorption(EWA).However,by far,the principles in the design or construction of structures with multiple interfaces and dielectric/magnetic heterostructures, and the relationships between those structures or heterostructures and their EWA performance have not been fully summarized and reviewed. This article aims to provide a timely review on the research progresses of high-efficency EM wave absorbers with multiple interfaces and dielectric/magnetic heterostructures, focusing on various promising EWA materials.Particularly,EM attenuation mechanisms in those structures with multiple interfaces and dielectric/magnetic heterostructures are discussed and generalized.Furthermore, the changllenges and future developments of EM wave absorbers based on those structures are proposed.Junye Cheng Huibin Zhang Yingfei Xiong Lingfeng Gao Bo Wen Hassan Raza Hao Wang Guangping Zheng Deqing Zhang Han Zhang 2021Journal of Materiomics2021,7,6:7

Applications of two-way satellite time and frequency transfer in the BeiDou navigation satellite system显示文摘A two-way satellite time and frequency transfer(TWSTFT) device equipped in the BeiDou navigation satellite system(BDS)can calculate clock error between satellite and ground master clock. TWSTFT is a real-time method with high accuracy because most system errors such as orbital error, station position error, and tropospheric and ionospheric delay error can be eliminated by calculating the two-way pseudorange difference. Another method, the multi-satellite precision orbit determination(MPOD)method, can be applied to estimate satellite clock errors. By comparison with MPOD clock estimations, this paper discusses the applications of the BDS TWSTFT clock observations in satellite clock measurement, satellite clock prediction, navigation system time monitor, and satellite clock performance assessment in orbit. The results show that with TWSTFT clock observations, the accuracy of satellite clock prediction is higher than MPOD. Five continuous weeks of comparisons with three international GNSS Service(IGS) analysis centers(ACs) show that the reference time difference between BeiDou time(BDT) and golbal positoning system(GPS) time(GPST) realized IGS ACs is in the tens of nanoseconds. Applying the TWSTFT clock error observations may obtain more accurate satellite clock performance evaluation in the 104 s interval because the accuracy of the MPOD clock estimation is not sufficiently high. By comparing the BDS and GPS satellite clock performance, we found that the BDS clock stability at the 103 s interval is approximately 10.12, which is similar to the GPS IIR.ShanShi Zhou XiaoGong Hu Li Liu Rui Guo LingFeng Zhu ZhiQiao Chang ChengPan Tang XiuQiang Gong Ran Li Yang Yu 2016Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2016,59,10:6
Smart Substation Integration Technology and Its Application in Distribution Power Grid显示文摘At present, smart substations use the IEC61850 standard based on the architectural framework of three layers and two networks to realize information digitization and advanced applications.Although the smart substation offers many improvements in design, equipment manufacturing, and construction, the intelligent devices used in smart substations are costly, and are also difficult to maintain since they are dispersed within a single unit.Functionality optimization and device integration, thus, have become important issues in smart substation development. This paper presents an integrated solution and implementation process for a smart substation system. In the process layer,an integrated intelligence component is developed that functions both as an intelligent terminal and a merging unit.In the bay layer,an integrated station-area protection measurement and control master device is designed to achieve such functions as protection, monitoring, control, fault recorder, and power quality monitoring. Finally,in the station control layer,an integrated information platform is established to bring together various system functions and to promote interactive sharing.Integration technology improves the economy and practicality of the smart substation, especially in a distribution power grid.Qipeng Song Wanxing Sheng Lingfeng Kou Dongbo Zhao Ziping Wu Hengfu Fang Xiaolong Zhao 2016CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2016,2,4:6

Factors regulating population dynamics of the amphipod Ampithoe valida in a eutrophic subtropical coastal lagoon显示文摘Year-round investigations were carried out to address the population dynamics of amphipod Ampithoe valida and its potential regulating factors in the Yundang Lagoon (a eutrophic subtropical coastal lagoon in Xiamen City, China) from October 2007 to October 2008. The results show that A. valida population was largely composed of juveniles and reached a peak abundance (12.02 × 10 3 ind./m2 ) in March, but sharply shrunk in July. The monthly variation pattern of A. valida seemed to follow that of Ulva lactuca which is the main food resource for A. valida, indicating a strong influence of food availability on A. valida population dynamics. Life cycle studies in laboratory indicate that A. valida adopted an r-selected life strategy, e.g., rapid growth rate (0.216-0.302 mm/d), consecutive breeding (4-10 times), short reproductive rhythm (9-17 d) and huge fecundity (24-192 eggs or 6-94 juveniles per brood), which contributed to the fast population growth of A. valida from January to March. Although temperature may also be a significant cause, A. valida could grow quickly and show normal reproductive traits (i.e., the timing of sexual differentiation or maturity, the reproductive rhythm, the number of broods all through its lifespan and offspring production) in temperature between 15-30 C. Therefore, the temperature variation in the lagoon water should not account for the sharp variation of A. valida population by affecting the survival, growth and reproduction of the amphipod. However, negative correlation between water temperature and U. lactuca biomass in the lagoon suggested that temperature could have indirectly affected the population dynamics of A. valida by affecting its food availability. The authors conclude that, in the Yundang Lagoon, the population dynamics of A. valida was mainly controlled by the food availability rather than water temperature.ZHENG Xinqing HUANG Lingfeng HUANG Bangqin LIN Yongqing 2013Acta Oceanologica Sinica2013,32,6:5
Flexible, transparent nanocellulose paper-based perovskite solar cells显示文摘Recently perovskite solar cells(PSCs),as photoelectric conversion devices, exhibit excellent power conversion efficiency(PCE)and low-processing cost, and have become one of the most promising devices to replace conventional silicon-based solar cells and address current pressing energy issues.Among them, the flexible PSCs are especially more widely applicable and may propel the rapid advancements of wearable electronics, causing a significant paradigm shift in consumer electronics.Current flexible PSCs use non-biodegradable petroleum-based polymer substrates, discarding of which will aggravate“white pollution”.Therefore, development of green, biodegradable and low-cost flexible substrates will provide a great alternative to flexible PSCs.Here we have developed transparent nanocellulose paper(NCP)with coating of acrylic resin as substrates to fabricate flexible PSCs,which are biodegradable and easily disposable. The PCE of these NCP-based PSCs reached 4.25%,while the power per weight(the ratio of power to device weight)was as high as 0.56 W g^(–1).The flexible PSCs also showed good stability,retaining>80%of original efficiency after 50 times of bending. The NCP-based substrates can also be applied to other electronic systems, which may prosper next-generation green flexible electronics.Lei Gao Lingfeng Chao Meihui Hou Jin Liang Yonghua Chen Hai-Dong Yu Wei Huang 2019npj Flexible Electronics2019,3,1:5
A Two-stage Robust Optimal Allocation Model of Distributed Generation Considering Capacity Curve and Real-time Price Based Demand Response显示文摘Demand response, the reactive power output of distributed generation(DG), and network reconfiguration have significant impacts on a DG allocation strategy. In this context, a novel real-time price-based demand response formulation is integrated into the allocation model of DG. The tariff is regulated by the difference between the load and active power of renewable energy. Meanwhile, network reconfiguration and the capacity curve describing the active and reactive power limits of DG are included in the optimization model for promoting the allocation of DG.With these measures, the optimal allocation model of DG is established with the goal of maximizing the net annual profit while guaranteeing the efficient utilization of renewable energy. In addition, the uncertainties of renewable energy are considered on the basis of a two-stage robust optimization method. Finally, the entire optimization model is solved by the column and constraint generation algorithm in the IEEE 33-bus distribution system and a practical 99-bus distribution system. Numerical simulations show that the proposed model is effective in terms of improving both the usage of renewable energy and net annual profit.Shuaijia He Hongjun Gao Hao Tian Lingfeng Wang Youbo Liu Junyong Liu 2021Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2021,9,1:5
