1The clock system for LHAASO WCDA based on reduced White Rabbit显示文摘Due to the large scale of Water Cherenkov Detector Array in Large High Altitude Air Shower Observatory, the frontend digitization is imperative.Thus a clock distribution system is desired,which broadcasts the synchronous clock signals with low jitter to the frontend electronics distributed in the field of 90 000 m^2.The White Rabbit protocol provides an option,which has been approved to achieve sub-ns accuracy and ps jitter in the synchronization of around 1 000 nodes in the order of 10 km.But the hierarchy of the original is too complex for Large High Altitude Air Shower Observatory application.Thus we proposed a reduced scheme based on the White Rabbit protocol.The validation circuit shows that the clock skew due to the fiber length difference can be adjusted to less than 25 ps and the clock jitter is less than 62 ps.LI Cheng LIU Shubin SHANG Linfeng CAO Ping AN Qi 2012Nuclear Science and Techniques2012,23,4:3

3Designing heterostructured FeP–CoP for oxygen evolution reaction:Interface engineering to enhance electrocatalytic performance显示文摘It is significant to develop highly efficient electrocatalysts for energy conversion systems.Interface engineering is one of the most feasible approaches to effectively enhance the electrocatalytic activity.Herein,the density functional theory(DFT)calculations predict that the potential barriers of Fe sites at the interface of FeP–CoP heterostructures are lower than that of Fe sites in FeP nanoparticles(NPs),Co sites in CoP NPs,or Co sites in heterostructures.Motivated by the DFT calculation results,FeP–CoP heterostructures have been designed and synthesized by a metal–organic frameworks(MOFs)confined-phosphorization method.The FeP–CoP exhibits the lowest overpotential of 230 mV at the current density of 10 mA·cm^(−2)for oxygen evolution reaction(OER),compared with FeP(470 mV)and CoP(340 mV),which outperforms most of transition metal-based catalysts.The Tafel analysis of FeP–CoP heterostructures shows an improved reaction kinetic pathway with the smallest slope of 90.3 mV·dec^(−1),as compared to the Tafel slopes of FeP NPs(137 mV·dec^(−1))and CoP NPs(114 mV·dec^(−1)).And the FeP–CoP shows extraordinary long-term stability over 24 h.The excellent activity and long-term stability of FeP–CoP derive from the synergistic effect between FeP and CoP.Shuang Hou Ansai Zhang Qi Zhou Yingjie Wen Sixie Zhang Linfeng Su Xinjie Huang Tian Wang Kun Rui Cheng Wang Huiling Liu Zhiyi Lu Peilei He 2023Nano Research2023,16,5:2
4Experimental comparison of SiC GTO and ETO for pulse power applications显示文摘Silicon carbide(SiC) emitter turn-off thyristors(ETOs) are very promising high power capacity semiconductor devices for high voltage and high power density power systems and pulse power applications. However,reports on comparison of high voltage SiC GTOs and ETOs in pulse power applications have been rare. In this paper, a comprehensive study on a 6.5 kV SiC GTO and ETO are carried out to demonstrate the superior performance of the SiC ETO over the GTO in pulse power application. A 6.5 kV SiC ETO was designed and tested with a printed circuit board(PCB) integrated gate driver. The forward conduction characteristics of the SiC ETO and GTO in elevated temperatures are measured and compared, showing the excellent temperature coefficient of the SiC ETO's output characteristics. Their turn-off characteristics with resistive load are measured and compared,demonstrating that the SiC ETO has much faster switching speed and smaller turn-off loss. 5Enabling ultrafast lithium-ion conductivity of Li_(2)ZrCl_(6) by indium doping显示文摘Solid-state batteries with high energy density and safety are promising next-generation battery systems.However,lithium oxide and lithium sulfide electrolytes suffer low ionic conductivity and poor electrochemical stability,respectively.Lithium halide solid electrolyte shows high conductivity and good compatibility with the pristine high-voltage cathode but limited applications due to the high price of rare metal.Zr-based lithium halides with low cost and high stability possess great potential.Herein,a small amount of In^(3+)is introduced in Li_(2)ZrCl_(6) to synthesize Li_(2.25)Zr_(0.75)In_(0.25)Cl_(6) electrolytes with a high room temperature Li-ion conductivity of 1.08 mS/cm.Solid-state batteries using Li_(2.25)Zr_(0.75)In_(0.25)Cl_(6)/Li_(5.5)PS_(4.5)Cl_(1.5) bilayer solid electrolytes combined with Li-In anode and pristine LiNi_(0.7)Mn_(0.2)Co_(0.1)O_(2) cathode deliver high initial discharge capacities under different cut-off voltages.This work provides an effective strategy for enhancing the conductivity of Li2ZrCl6 electrolytes,promoting their applications in solid-state batteries.Shuai Chena Chuang Yu Shaoqing Chen Linfeng Peng Cong Liao Chaochao Wei Zhongkai Wu Shijie Cheng Jia Xie 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,10:1
6Characteristics of low altitude ionospheric electric field over Hainan Island,China显示文摘A sounding rocket experiment undertaken by the Chinese Meridian Project from a low latitude station on Hainan Island(19.5°N,109.1°E),China,measured the DC electric field during 05:45-05:52 LT on April 5,2013.The data observed using a set of electric field double probes,as part of the rocket's scientific payload,revealed the special profile of how the vectors of the DC electric field vary with altitude between 130 and 190 km.During the experiment,the vertical electric field was downward,and the maximum vertical electric field was nearly 5.1 mV/m near the altitude of 176 km.The zonal electric field was eastward and slightly less than 0.6 mV/m.The plasma drift velocity was estimated from the E×B motion,and the zonal drift velocity was eastward and of the order of 100 m/s.The zonal wind velocity was also estimated using the drift velocity near the maximum density height in the F1-region,and it was found to be nearly 120 m/s.This work constituted the first in situ measurement of the DC electric field conducted within the Fl-region(between 130 and 190 km) in the East Asian Sector.LI RenKang CHEN Tao MAN Feng JIANG XiuJie LUO Jing HE ZhaoHai ZHANG HuiMing WANG LinFeng LIU Cheng Francisco Carlos de MENESES WANG GuoJun XU JiYao 2017Science China Earth Sciences2017,60,4:1
7Revealing milling durations and sintering temperatures on conductivity and battery performances of Li_(2.25)Zr_(0.75)Fe_(0.25)Cl_(6)electrolyte显示文摘Halide electrolytes in solid-state batteries with excellent oxidative stability and high ionic conductivity have been well reported recently.However,the high-cost rare-earth elements and long duration of highrotation milling procure are the major obstacles.Herein,we have successfully synthesized the low cost Li_(2.25)Zr_(0.75)Fe_(0.25)Cl_(6)electrolyte consisting of abundant elements with comparable Li-ion conductivity in a short milling duration of 4 h.Phase transition of the annealed sample was also carefully investigated.Li Ni_(0.6)Co_(0.2)Mn_(0.2)O_(2)/Li_(2.25)Zr_(0.75)Fe_(0.25)Cl_(6)/Li_(5.5)PS_(4.5)Cl_(1.5)/In-Li batteries using different halide electrolytes were constructed and cycled at different voltage windows.Solid-state battery using Li_(2.25)Zr_(0.75)Fe_(0.25)Cl_(6)electrolyte obtained from long milling duration delivers higher discharge capacities and superior capacity retention than shorter milling time between 3.0 and 4.3 V.It delivers much higher discharge capacity when cycled at elevated temperature(60℃)and suffers fast capacity degradation when the upper cut-off voltage increases to 4.5 V at the same current density.This work provides an efficiency synthesis strategy for halide solid electrolyte and studies its applications in all-solid-state batteries in a wide temperature range.Shuai Chen Chuang Yu Chaochao Wei Linfeng Peng Shijie Cheng Jia Xie 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,5:1

9Effects of Low Protein Diets on Nutrient Digestibility and Excretion in Finishing Pigs显示文摘The experiment was conducted to study the effects of low protein diets on nutrient digestibility and excretion of finishing pigs. For the 30-d trial,fortytwo duroc × landrace × yorkshire( DLY) finishing pigs with the initial weight of( 91. 13 ± 1. 64) kg were randomly divided into two groups,with three replicates in each group. The pigs in the two groups were fed with different crude protein( CP) levels( control groups: 15. 49% and low protein groups: 12. 59%). The results showed that:( 1) The digestibility of dry matter and crude fat( CF) in low protein groups were increased significantly( P < 0. 01),but there were no significant differences in digestibility among CP,calcium( Ca) and phosphorus( P);( 2) The digestibility of arginine( Arg) in low protein groups were 2. 02%( P <0. 05) lower than that in control groups. However,the digestibility of other amino acid were no difference between two groups;( 3) The nitrogen( N) excretion in low protein groups was 23. 96%( P < 0. 05) lower than that in control groups,but there were no significant differences in excretion among organic matter,P and Ca( P > 0. 05). 10Tuning Solid Interfaces via Varying Electrolyte Distributions Enables High-Performance Solid-State Batteries显示文摘Solid/solid interface is the major challenge for high-performance solid-state batteries.Solid electrolytes(SEs)play a crucial role in the fabrication of effective interfaces in solid-state batteries.Herein,the electrolyte distribution with varied particle sizes is tuned to construct solid-state batteries with excellent performance at different operating temperatures.Solid-state batteries with the configuration S/L(small-sized SE in composite cathode and large-sized SE in electrolyte layer)show the best performance at room temperature(168 mA h g^(−1) at 0.2 C,retention of 99%,100 cycles)and−20°C(89 mA h g^(−1) at 0.05 C),while the configuration S/S displays better performance at elevated temperature.The superior performance of S/L battery is associated with faster lithium-ion dynamics due to the better solid/solid interface between active materials and electrolytes.Moreover,the inferior performance at 60℃is caused by the formation of voids and cracks in the electrolyte layer during cycling.In contrast,the S/S battery delivers superior performance at elevated operating temperature because of the integrated structure.This work confirms that tailoring electrolyte size has significant effect on fabricating all-climate solid-state batteries.Linfeng Peng Chuang Yu Ziqi Zhang Ruonan Xu Mengjun Sun Long Zhang Shijie Cheng Jia Xie 2023Energy & Environmental Materials2023,6,2:0
11An Energy-Aware Routing Protocol Based on Effective Transmission in Sensor Networks显示文摘In order to minimize the energy consumption in the discovery of the routing path, this paper introduces a novel concept of effective transmission (ET) that ensures each forwarding node is not only farther from the source node, but also nearer to the destination node with respect to its sender. An energy-aware routing protocol based on ET is proposed. It enables the energy consumption for each hop to be the least for the transmission. 12VDCM: A Data Collection Mechanism for Crowd Sensing in Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks显示文摘With the rapid development of mobile devices,aggregation security and efficiency topics are more important than past in crowd sensing.When collecting large-scale vehicle-provided data,the data transmitted via autonomous networks are publicly accessible to all attackers,which increases the risk of vehicle exposure.So we need to ensure data aggregation security.In addition,low aggregation efficiency will lead to insufficient sensing data,making the data unable to provide data mining services.Aiming at the problem of aggregation security and efficiency in large-scale data collection,this article proposes a data collection mechanism(VDCM)for crowd sensing in vehicular ad hoc networks(VANETs).The mechanism includes two mechanism assumptions and selects appropriate methods to reduce consumption.It selects sub mechanism 1 when there exist very few vehicles or the coalition cannot be formed,otherwise selects sub mechanism 2.Single aggregation is used to collect data in sub mechanism 1.In sub mechanism 2,cooperative vehicles are selected by using coalition formation strategy and auction cooperation agreement,and multi aggregation is used to collect data.Two sub mechanisms use Paillier homomorphic encryption technology to ensure the security of data aggregation.In addition,mechanism supplements the data update and scoring steps to increase the amount of available data.The performance analysis shows that the mechanism proposed in this paper can safely aggregate data and reduce consumption.The simulation results indicate that the proposed mechanism reduces time consumption and increases the amount of available data compared with existing mechanisms.Juli Yin Linfeng Wei Zhiquan Liu Xi Yang Hongliang Sun Yudan Cheng Jianbin Mai 2023Big Data Mining and Analytics2023,6,4:0
13RIPK3 promotes hantaviral replication by restricting JAK-STAT signaling without triggering necroptosis显示文摘Hantaan virus(HTNV)is a rodent-borne virus that causes hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome(HFRS),resulting in a high mortality rate of 15%.Interferons(IFNs)play a critical role in the anti-hantaviral immune response,and IFN pretreatment efficiently restricts HTNV infection by triggering the expression of a series of IFNstimulated genes(ISGs)through the Janus kinase-signal transducer and activator of transcription 1(JAK-STAT)pathway.However,the tremendous amount of IFNs produced during late infection could not restrain HTNV replication,and the mechanism remains unclear.Here,we demonstrated that receptor-interacting protein kinase 3(RIPK3),a crucial molecule that mediates necroptosis,was activated by HTNV and contributed to hantavirus evasion of IFN responses by inhibiting STAT1 phosphorylation.RNA-seq analysis revealed the upregulation of multiple cell death-related genes after HTNV infection,with RIPK3 identified as a key modulator of viral replication.RIPK3 ablation significantly enhanced ISGs expression and restrained HTNV replication,without affecting the expression of pattern recognition receptors(PRRs)or the production of type I IFNs.Conversely,exogenously expressed RIPK3 compromised the host's antiviral response and facilitated HTNV replication.RIPK3^(-/-)mice also maintained a robust ability to clear HTNV with enhanced innate immune responses.Mechanistically,we found that RIPK3 could bind STAT1 and inhibit STAT1 phosphorylation dependent on the protein kinase domain(PKD)of RIPK3 but not its kinase activity.Overall,these observations demonstrated a noncanonical function of RIPK3 during viral infection and have elucidated a novel host innate immunity evasion strategy utilized by HTNV.Yue Si Haijun Zhang Ziqing Zhou Xudong Zhu Yongheng Yang He Liu Liang Zhang Linfeng Cheng Kerong Wang Wei Ye Xin Lv Xijing Zhang Wugang Hou Gang Zhao Yingfeng Lei Fanglin Zhang Hongwei Ma 2023Virologica Sinica2023,38,5:0
14A Fast Two-Stage Black-Box Deep Learning Network Attacking Method Based on Cross-Correlation显示文摘Deep learning networks are widely used in various systems that require classification.However,deep learning networks are vulnerable to adversarial attacks.The study on adversarial attacks plays an important role in defense.Black-box attacks require less knowledge about target models than white-box attacks do,which means black-box attacks are easier to launch and more valuable.However,the state-of-arts black-box attacks still suffer in low success rates and large visual distances between generative adversarial images and original images.This paper proposes a kind of fast black-box attack based on the cross-correlation(FBACC)method.The attack is carried out in two stages.In the first stage,an adversarial image,which would be missclassified as the target label,is generated by using gradient descending learning.By far the image may look a lot different than the original one.Then,in the second stage,visual quality keeps getting improved on the condition that the label keeps being missclassified.By using the cross-correlation method,the error of the smooth region is ignored,and the number of iterations is reduced.Compared with the proposed black-box adversarial attack methods,FBACC achieves a better fooling rate and fewer iterations.When attacking LeNet5 and AlexNet respectively,the fooling rates are 100%and 89.56%.When attacking them at the same time,the fooling rate is 69.78%.FBACC method also provides a new adversarial attack method for the study of defense against adversarial attacks.Deyin Li Mingzhi Cheng Yu Yang Min Lei Linfeng Shen 2020Computers, Materials & Continua2020,,7:0
15STING strengthens host anti-hantaviral immunity through an interferon-independent pathway显示文摘Hantaan virus(HTNV),the prototype virus of hantavirus,could escape innate immunity by restraining type I interferon(IFN)responses.It is largely unknown whether there existed other efficient anti-hantaviral tactics in host cells.Here,we demonstrate that the stimulator of interferon genes(STING)strengthens the host IFNindependent anti-hantaviral immunity.HTNV infection activates RIG-I through IRE1-XBP 1-mediated ER stress,which further facilitates the subcellular translocation and activation of STING.During this process,STING triggers cellular autophagy by interacting with Rab7A,thus restricting viral replication.To note,the anti-hantaviral effects of STING are independent of canonical IFN signaling.Additionally,neither application of the pharmacological antagonist nor the agonist targeting STING could improve the outcomes of nude mice post HTNV challenge in vivo.However,the administration of plasmids exogenously expressing the mutant C-terminal tail(ΔCTT)STING,which would not trigger the type I IFN responses,protected the nude mice from lethal HTNV infection.In summary,our research revealed a novel antiviral pathway through the RIG-I-STING-autophagy pathway,which offered novel therapeutic strategies against hantavirus infection.Kerong Wang Jian Zhang Yongheng Yang Yue Si Ziqing Zhou Xudong Zhu Sushan Wu He Liu Hui Zhang Liang Zhang Linfeng Cheng Wei Ye Xin Lv Yingfeng Lei Xijing Zhang Shilin Cheng Lixin Shen Fanglin Zhang Hongwei Ma 2023Virologica Sinica2023,38,4:0
16Rotational dynamics of bottom-heavy rods in turbulence from experiments and numerical simulations显示文摘We successfully perform the three-dimensional tracking in a turbulent fluid flow of small axisymmetrical particles that are neutrally-buoyant and bottom-heavy,i.e.,they have a non-homogeneous mass distribu-tion along their symmetry axis.We experimentally show how a tiny mass inhomogeneity can affect the particle orientation along the preferred vertical direction and modify its tumbling rate.The experiment is complemented by a series of simulations based on realistic Navier-Stokes turbulence and on a point-like particle model that is capable to explore the full range of parameter space characterized by the gravi-tational torque stability number and by the particle aspect ratio.We propose a theoretical perturbative prediction valid in the high bottom-heaviness regime that agrees well with the observed preferential ori-entation and tumbling rate of the particles.We also show that the heavy-tail shape of the probability distribution function of the tumbling rate is weakly affected by the bottom-heaviness of the particles.Linfeng Jiang Cheng Wang Shuang Liu Chao Sun Enrico Calzavarini 2021Theoretical & Applied Mechanics Letters2021,11,1:0
