| 1 | Influence of Late Springtime Surface Sensible Heat Flux Anomalies over the Tibetan and Iranian Plateaus on the Location of the South Asian High in Early Summer显示文摘Variation in the location of the South Asian High(SAH) in early boreal summer is strongly influenced by elevated surface heating from the Tibetan Plateau(TP) and the Iranian Plateau(IP). Based on observational and ERA-Interim data,diagnostic analyses reveal that the interannual northwestward–southeastward(NW–SE) shift of the SAH in June is more closely correlated with the synergistic effect of concurrent surface thermal anomalies over the TP and IP than with each single surface thermal anomaly over either plateau from the preceding May. Concurrent surface thermal anomalies over these two plateaus in May are characterized by a negative correlation between sensible heat flux over most parts of the TP(TPSH)and IP(IPSH). This anomaly pattern can persist till June and influences the NW–SE shift of the SAH in June through the release of latent heat(LH) over northeastern India. When the IPSH is stronger(weaker) and the TPSH is weaker(stronger)than normal in May, an anomalous cyclone(anticyclone) appears over northern India at 850 hPa, which is accompanied by the ascent(descent) of air and anomalous convergence(divergence) of moisture flux in May and June. | 2 | Rare earths (Ce, Y, Pr) modified Pd/La2O3-ZrO2-Al2O3 catalysts usedin lean-burn natural gas fueled vehicles显示文摘14%REO_x-2.5%La_2 O_3-33.5%ZrO_2-50%Al_2 O_3(RE = Ce, Y, Pr) composites were prepared by a coprecipitation method. The Pd catalysts were obtained by an aqueous solution of Pd(NO_3)_2 loaded on the rare earths modified composites with an initial wet impregnated method. The experiment results show that catalytic activity of the rare earths modified Pd/La_2 O_3-ZrO_2-Al_2 O_3 catalysts is better than bare sample for methane oxidation. The structural characterization results reveal that the rare earths modified Pd catalysts increase amounts of surface active oxygen species by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) analysis and improve the dispersion of active component from H2-temperature programmed reduction(H2-TPR) measurement compared with bare sample. | 3 | Progress in hole-transporting materials for perovskite solar cells显示文摘In recent years the photovoltaic community has witnessed the unprecedented development of perovskite solar cells(PSCs) as they have taken the lead in emergent photovoltaic technologies. The power conversion efficiency of this new class of solar cells has been increased to a point where they are beginning to compete with more established technologies. Although PSCs have evolved a variety of structures, the use of hole-transporting materials(HTMs) remains indispensable. Here, an overview of the various types of available HTMs is presented. This includes organic and inorganic HTMs and is presented alongside recent progress in associated aspects of PSCs, including device architectures and fabrication techniques to produce high-quality perovskite films. | 5 | Isolation and Preliminary Identification of Broad-spectrum Bacteriocin-producing Lactobacillus Strain CW3显示文摘[Objective]This study aimed to screen and preliminarily identify Lactobacillus strain CW3. [Method]Oxford cup double-plate method was used for preliminary screening of broad-spectrum bacteriocin-producing Lactobacillus strain; after eliminating the interference of organic acid and hydrogen peroxide,antibacterial substances containing protein properties produced by the screened strain were detected; finally,the obtained strain was identified. [Result]After elimination of interference factors such as organic acid and hydrogen peroxide,the fermentation supernatant of strain CW3 could still inhibit the growth of indicator strains; the antibacterial activity of fermentation broth was significantly reduced after treatment with trypsase and pepsase,which indicated that the produced antibacterial substances were bacteriocins. Results of physiological and biochemical identification showed that strain CW3 belonged to Lactobacillus plantarum. | 6 | Spatial Pattern and Influencing Factors of Regional Ecological Civilisation Construction in China显示文摘Ecological civilisation construction is a strategy for regional sustainable development based on a regional system of human-land relations. The comprehensive measurement and regional differentiation in construction levels are the key issues of ecological civilisation construction. This study aims to build 35 index systems that coalesce on four aspects: ecological economic adjustment and operation, ecological and social development and progress, ecological resources and environmental security, and ecological institutional and cultural awareness. We measured and evaluated the level of ecological civilisation construction of 329 cities(prefecture-level cities, autonomous prefectures and leagues) in 2018 using a comprehensive evaluation system and a spatial autocorrelation method to assess spatial differences in the level of ecological civilisation construction across China. This approach takes ‘the humanities-economic geography’ comprehensive perspective and uses a GWR(geographically weighted regression) model to analyse 10 influencing factors. Results show that: 1) the level of ecological construction can be divided into five types: higher, high, medium, low, and lower levels, according to the evaluation score. The five types are spindle-shaped in quantity and there is a significant imbalance in their spatial distribution, mainly trending from the southeast coast to the northwest. The land is decreasing, and the southern region is higher in level than the northern region. 2) The results of the spatial autocorrelation method show obvious spatial differences in ecological civilisation construction across China and that the level of ecological civilisation construction is positively autocorrelated. From east to west, the hot zone gradually transitions to a cold zone. A high-high type is mainly distributed in eastern coastal cities of China, and the number of high-low and low-high types are small. The low-low type is mainly distributed in the northwestern and northeastern regions. 3) The effect of influencing factors is heterogeneous in their spatial distribution, and the abundance of ecological resources is the most influential factor. According to the main influencing factors, each region should adhere to the principle of differentiation according to local conditions when choosing its ecological civilisation construction path and establishing an assessment mechanism. | 8 | Renewable isosorbide-derived poly(phosphoester) for simultaneously enhanced flame-retardancy and mechanical property of polylactide显示文摘Incorporating flame retardant fillers is the most efficient way to improve the fire resistance of polylactide(PLA).However,most flame retardant fillers result in deterioration of the mechanical property of PLA so far.Therefore,to create high-performance PLA materials combining excellent flame retardancy with superior mechanical properties remains highly attractive and challenging.In this study,a novel isosorbide-derived poly(phosphoester)(PIDI)was synthesized and used as a bio-based flame-retardant for PLA.The addition of PIDI showed a marginal effect on the change of the glass transition temperature of the PLA composites,but the crystallinity degree of the PLA composites was improved by the inclusion of PIDI.Benefitting from the improved crystallinity,the tensile strength,flexural strength,and impact strength of PLA composite containing 15 wt%PIDI was enhanced by19.4%,14.1%,and 36.9%,respectively,compared to the virgin PLA.With the addition of 20 wt%PIDI,the PLA composite showed an LOI value of 25.5%and a UL-94 V-0 rating in the vertical burning test.The flame retardant effect of PIDI was also demonstrated by a notable reduction(-46%)in the peak heat release rate(PHRR)of PLA composite containing 20 wt%PIDI.Such a renewable isosorbide-derived poly(phosphoester)is one of the promising candidates for PLA bio-composites with an outstanding balance between flame retardancy and intrinsic physical properties. | Xin Wang Haoxin Niu Wenwen Guo Lei Song Yuan Hu | 2021 | Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2021,31,4: | 1 |

| 11 | Properties of Bamboo Charcoal and Cement-based Composite Materials and Their Microstructure显示文摘The objective of this work was to study the properties of bamboo charcoal and cement-based composite materials and their microstructure. The pastes with various bamboo charcoals were prepared and the relative properties such as setting times and strength were tested and the microstructures and pore characteristics of pastes with various bamboos were also studied. The experimental results indicated that bamboo charcoal affects the setting times of cement paste, but the introduction of water reducer relieves this condition. Bamboo charcoal also poses an impact on the hardened paste strength. The prominent strength decrease is found when more and larger size bamboo charcoal is mixed into the cement paste. Bamboo charcoal alters the paste microstructure and increases the porosity and pore volume, but it increases the pores with the diameter of less than 50 μm.
