1Possible mechanism underlying analgesic effect of Tuina in rats may involve piezo mechanosensitive channels within dorsal root ganglia axon显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To demonstrate the analgesic effect of Tuina mainly from mechanically sensitive ion channels in peripheral myelinated nerve fibers.METHODS: A total of 40 healthy and pathogen-free adult male Sprague-Dawley rats were used in the study [weight:(220.0 ± 1.4) g, Shanghai Slac Laboratory Animal Co., Ltd., Shanghai, China; license No. Shanghai ICP 05033115]. The rats were housed in cages with free access to water and food in a temperature-controlled room [(22 ± 1) ℃] and12-h/12-h light-dark cycle. Thirty-two rats were randomly divided into five groups: naive, sham, chronic compression of dorsal root ganglion(CCD), Tuina(7 d) and Tuina(21 d). CCD rat model was established via unilateral DRG compression by'L'liked steel bar. Chinese Tuina treatment was accepted once per day. Behavior monitoring of paw withdrawal threshold(PWT) and paw withdrawal latency(PWL) were tested. The expression of Piezo1 and Piezo2 in myelinated nerve fiber were analyzed by immunohistochemistry and Western-blotting.RESULTS: There was a high expression of Piezo2 and a low expression of Piezo1 in the naive and CCD groups. In contrast, the expression of Piezo2 was down regulated and Piezo1 was increased after a period of Tuina. 3A microfluidic biosensor for rapid detection of Salmonella typhimurium based on magnetic separation,enzymatic catalysis and electrochemical impedance analysis显示文摘Rapid screening of foodborne pathogens is of great significance to ensure food safety.A microfluidic biosensor based on immunomagnetic separation,enzyme catalysis and electrochemical impedance analysis was developed for rapid and sensitive detection of S.typhimurium.First,the bacterial sample,the magnetic nanoparticles(MNPs)modified with capture antibodies,and the enzymatic probes modified with detection antibodies and glucose oxidase(GOx)were simultaneously injected into the microfluidic chip,followed by mixing and incubation to form MNP-bacteria-probe sandwich complexes.Then,glucose with high impedance was injected into the chip and catalyzed by the GOx on the complexes into hydrogen peroxide with high impedance and gluconic acid with low impedance,which was finally measured using the low-cost interdigitated microelectrode and the electrochemical impedance analyzer to determine the target bacteria.Under the optimal conditions,this biosensor could quantitatively detect S.typhimurium at the concentrations from 1.6×10^(2) CFU/m L to 1.6×10^(6) CFU/m L in 1 h with the low detection limit of 73 CFU/m L.Besides,this biosensor was demonstrated with good feasibility for practical applications by detecting the S.typhimurium spiked chicken meat samples.Yingjia Liu Dong Jiang Siyuan Wang Gaozhe Cai Li Xue Yanbin Li Ming Liao Jianhan Lin 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,6:3
4A portable viable Salmonella detection device based on microfluidic chip and recombinase aided amplification显示文摘creening of foodborne pathogens is important to prevent contaminated foods from their supply chains.n this study, a portable detection device was developed for rapid, sensitive and simple detection of viable almonella using a finger-actuated microfluidic chip and an improved recombinase aided amplification (RAA) assay. Improved propidium monoazide(PMAxx) was combined with RAA to enable this device to distinguish viable bacteria from dead ones. The modification of PMAxx into dead bacteria, the magnetic xtraction of nucleic acids from viable bacteria and the RAA detection of extracted nucleic acids were performed using the microfluidic chip on its supporting device by finger press-release operations. The fluorescent signal resulting from RAA amplification of the nucleic acids was collected using a USB camera nd analyzed using a self-developed smartphone App to quantitatively determine the bacterial concenration. 5Enhancing the stability of astaxanthin by encapsulation in poly (1-lactic acid) microspheres using a supercritical anti-solvent process显示文摘To improve the physicochemical properties of astaxanthin, it was encapsulated in poly (1-lactic acid)(PLLA) using a supercritical anti-solvent (SAS) process with dichloromethane/acetone mixture as the solvent, and supercritical CO2 as the anti-solvent. The effects of altering five SAS operating cond让ions, solvent ratio, temperature, pressure, concentration of carrier, and flow rate, on the microstructure of particles were investigated using an orthogonal experimental design. Under the optimal conditions, astaxanthin/PLLA particles were produced with an encapsulation efficiency of 91.5% and a mean particle size of 954.6 nm. SEM images showed that most astaxanthin/PLLA particles were uniform microspheres. FT-IR spectra showed that the chemical structure of astaxanthin was unchanged by the SAS process. The results of chromatic difference, X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetric, and differential scanning calorimetry analyses showed that astaxanthin had been encapsulated in the PLLA matrix in an amorphous state. Overall, astaxanthin/PLLA microspheres greatly enhanced the stability of astaxanthin during storage, and the levels of residual solvents were far lower than the ICH lim让s. 7Highly stable lithium anode enabled by self-assembled monolayer of dihexadecanoalkyl phosphate显示文摘Li has been considered as the ultimate anode material for high energy density secondary Li batteries.However,its practical application has been limited due to its low Coulombic efficiency(CE)and the formation of lithium dendrites.Recently,we have developed a microspherical Li-carbon nanotube(Li-CNT)composite material passivated with octadecylphosphonic acid(OPA)self-assembled monolayer(SAM)exhibiting suppressed lithium dendrite formation and improved environmental/electrochemical stability.In this work,we demonstrated the significantly enhanced passivation effects of a SAM using dihexadecanoalkyl phosphate(DHP),a molecule that is comprised of double hydrophobic alkyl chains and forms a denser SAM on surfaces with large curvature.As a result,the DHP SAM delivers superior environmental and electrochemical stability to the OPA passivated Li-CNT material.In specific,the DHP passivated Li-CNT composite(DHP-Li-CNT)delivers a high CE of 99.25%under a 33.3%depth of discharge(DOD)at 1 C,when it is paired with a LiFePO4 cathode.The evolution of the SAM during cycling and the effects of DOD and current density on the CE of the DHP-Li-CNT anode have also been investigated.The improved SAM passivation constitutes an important step in achieving the goal of practically applicable Li anodes.Lei Zheng Feng Guo Tuo Kang Jin Yang Ya Liu Wei Gu Yanfei Zhao Hongzhen Lin Yanbin Shen Wei Lu Liwei Chen 2020Nano Research2020,13,5:1
8Achieving high-capacity and long-life K^(+)storage enabled by constructing yolk-shell Sb_(2)S_(3)@N,S-doped carbon nanorod anodes显示文摘As promising anode candidates for potassium-ion batteries(PIBs),antimony sulfide(Sb_(2)S_(3))possesses high specific capacity but suffers from massive volume expansion and sluggish kinetics due to the large K^(+)insertion,resulting in inferior cycling and rate performance.To address these challenges,a yolk-shell structured Sb_(2)S_(3)confined in N,S co-doped hollow carbon nanorod(YS-Sb_(2)S_(3)@NSC)working as a viable anode for PIBs is proposed.As directly verified by in situ transmission electron microscopy(TEM),the buffer space between the Sb_(2)S_(3)core and thin carbon shell can effectively accommodate the large expansion stress of Sb_(2)S_(3)without cracking the shell and the carbon shell can accelerate electron transport and K^(+)diffusion,which plays a significant role in reinforcing the structural stability and facilitating charge transfer.As a result,the YS-Sb_(2)S_(3)@NSC electrode delivers a high reversible K^(+)storage capacity of 594.58 m A h g^(-1)at 0.1 A g^(-1)and a long cycle life with a slight capacity degradation(0.01%per cycle)for 2000 cycles at 1 A g^(-1)while maintaining outstanding rate capability.Importantly,utilizing in in situ/ex situ microscopic and spectroscopic characterizations,the origins of performance enhancement and K^(+)storage mechanism of Sb_(2)S_(3)were clearly elucidated.This work provides valuable insights into the rational design of high-performance and durable transition metal sulfides-based anodes for PIBs.Bensheng Xiao Hehe Zhang Zhefei Sun Miao Li Yingzhu Fan Haichen Lin Haodong Liu Bing Jiang Yanbin Shen Ming-Sheng Wang Meicheng Li Qiaobao Zhang 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,1:1

14New design method of unequal taper thread(UTT)pairs and its application in API NC38 thread improvement显示文摘API standard threads are the most commonly used thread configurations for drill pipe joints in the petroleum industry.Recently with the increasing application of horizontal wells and extended-reach wells in drilling engineering,drill pipe joint threads are subjected to complex loads,and drill pipe joint thread breakage accidents occur frequently.The API NC38 threaded pair used in the SU36-8-4H2 well suffered a fracture accident.Macroscopic analysis found that the fracture sites were located near the root of the first engagement pin-thread where the stress was greatest.Therefore,it is necessary to find an alternative method to reduce the largest stress of NC38 threads.Then,a new design method of unequal taper thread(UTT)pairs is proposed that the taper of pin thread,slightly smaller than the taper of matched-box thread,is not equal to one of box-thread.In the UTT pairs of API NC38 thread,the taper of box thread is kept as the standard taper of 1:6,but the taper of pin thread is,respectively,1:6.1(UTT-I),1:6.2(UTT-Ⅱ),1:6.3(UTT-Ⅲ)and 1:6.4(UTT-IV).The 3D finite element models of four UTT pairs and one standard pair based on NC38 thread were developed,and the mechanical properties of five thread pairs bearing such typical working loads as torque,axial compression,axial tension,bending moment,internal and external pressure,were analyzed.The results show that four UTT pairs are superior to the standard pair of API NC38,and UTT-Ⅲ has the most performance in all of four UTT pairs.Compared with the standard pair of API NC38,UTT-Ⅲ pair can improve the bearing capacity such as torsion strength,compression strength,tensile strength,bending strength,strength against internal and external pressure,by 24.8%,13.2%,22%,9.99%and 14.2%,respectively.The new design method of UTT pair enhances the bearing capacity of API NC38 thread,and has been applied in Changqing Drilling Company of CNPC Chuanqing Drilling Engineering Company Limited.The UTT-thread pair method is not only applicable for API series threads to improve the connection performance,but also suitable for various non-API taper connection threads to promote existing working ability such as air tightness,stress corrosion resistance,fatigue resistance et al.Hangming Liu Yangye He Jifang Wan Lin Chen Xianzhong Yi Song Hou Yanbin Wang Dongxu He Gang Li 2023Petroleum2023,9,3:0

17Light Intensity Affects the Coloration and Structure of Chimeric Leaves of Ananas comosus var.bracteatus显示文摘Ananas comosus var.bracteatus is an important ornamental plant because of its green/white chimeric leaves.The accumulation of anthocyanin makes the leaf turn to red especially in the marginal part.However,the red fades away in summer and winter.Light intensity is one of the most important factors affecting leaf color along the seasons.In order to understand the effects of light intensity on the growth and coloration of the chimeric leaves,Ananas comosus var.bracteatus was grown under full sunlight,50%shade and 75%shade for 75 days to evaluate the concentration of pigments,the color parameters(values L^(*),a^(*),b^(*))and the morpho-anatomical variations of chimeric leaves.The results showed that a high irradiance was beneficial to keep the chimeric leaves red.However,prolonged exposure to high irradiance caused a damage,some of the leaves wrinkled and even burned.Shading instead decreased the concentration of anthocyanin and increased the concentration of chlorophyll,especially in the white marginal part of the leaves.Numerous chloroplasts were observed in the mesophyll cells of the white marginal part of the chimeric leaves under shading for 75 days.The increase in chlorophyll concentration resulted in a better growth of plants.In order to balance the growth and coloration of the leaves,approximately 50%shade is suggested to be the optimum light irradiance condition for Ananas comosus var.bracteatus in summer.Wei Yang Yuke Lin Yanbin Xue Meiqin Mao Xuzixing Zhou Hao Hu Jiawen Liu Lijun Feng Huiling Zhang Jiaheng Luo Jun Ma 2022Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2022,91,2:0
