| 1 | Recognition of wood surface defects with near infrared spectroscopy and machine vision显示文摘To improve the accuracy in recognizing defects on wood surfaces,a method fusing near infrared spectroscopy(NIR)and machine vision was examined.Larix gmelinii was selected as the raw material,and the experiments focused on the ability of the model to sort defects into four types:live knots,dead knots,pinholes,and cracks.Sample images were taken using an industrial camera,and a morphological algorithm was applied to locate the position of the defects.A portable near infrared spectrometer(900–1800 nm)collected the spectra of these positions.In addition,principal component analysis was utilized on these variables from spectral information and principal component vectors were extracted as the inputs of the model.The results show that a back propagation neural network model exhibited better discrimination accuracy of 92.7%for the training set and 92.0%for the test set.The research reveals that the NIR fusing machine vision is a feasible tool for detecting defects on board surfaces. | Huiling Yu Yuliang Liang Hao Liang Yizhuo Zhang | 2019 | Journal of Forestry Research2019,30,6: | 16 |
| 2 | Constitutive relation of an orthorhombic polycrystal with the shape coefficients显示文摘An orthorhombic polycrystal is an orthorhombic aggregate of tiny crystallites. In this paper, we study the effect of the crystalline mean shape on the constitutive relation of the orthorhombic polycrystal. The crystalline mean shape and the crystalline orientation arrangement are described by the crystalline shape function (CSF) and the orientation distribution function (ODF), respectively. The CSF and the ODF are expanded as an infinite series in terms of the Wigner D-functions. The expanded coefficients of the CSF and the ODF are called the shape coefficients sm0l and the texture coefficients cmnl respectively. Assuming that Ceff in the constitutive relation depends on the shape coefficients sm0l and the texture coefficients cmnl, by the principle of material frame-indifference we derive an analytical expression for Ceff up to terms linear in sm0l and cmnl , and the expression would be applicable to the polycrystal whose texture is weak and whose crystalline mean shape has weak anisotropy. Ceff contains six unspecified material constants (λ, μ, c, s1, s2, s3), five shape coefficients (s020, s220, s400, s420, s440), and three texture coefficients (c400, c420, c440). The results based on the perturbation approach are used to determine the five material constants approximately. We also find that the shape coefficients s2m0 and s4m0 are all zero if the crystalline mean shape is a cuboid. | 3 | Soft measurement of wood defects based on LDA feature fusion and compressed sensor images显示文摘We proposed a detection method for wood defects based on linear discriminant analysis(LDA) and the use of compressed sensor images. Wood surface images were captured, using a camera Oscar F810C IRF camera,and then the image segmentation was performed, and the defect features were extracted from wood board images. To reduce the processing time, LDA algorithm was used to integrate these features and reduce their dimensions. Features after fusion were used to construct a data dictionary and a compressed sensor was designed to recognize the wood defects types. Of the three major defect types, 50 images live knots, dead knots, and cracks were used to test the effects of this method. | 4 | A pH-sensitive supramolecular nanosystem with chlorin e6 and triptolide co-delivery for chemo-photodynamic combination therapy显示文摘The combination of Ce6,an acknowledged photosensitizer,and TPL,a natural anticancer agent,has been demonstrated as a useful strategy to reinforce the tumor growth suppression,as well as decrease the systemic side effects compared with their monotherapy.However,in view of the optimal chemo-photodynamic combination efficiency,there is still short of the feasible nanovehicle to steadily co-deliver Ce6 and TPL,and stimuli-responsively burst release drugs in tumor site.Herein,we described the synergistic antitumor performance of a pH-sensitive supramolecular nanosystem,mediated by the host–guest complexing betweenβ-CD and acid pH-responsive amphiphilic co-polymer mPEG-PBAE-mPEG,showing the shell–core structural micelles with the tightβ-CD layer coating.Both Ce6 and TPLwere facilely co-loaded into the spherical supramolecular NPs(TPL+Ce6/NPs)by one-step nanoprecipitation method,with an ideal particle size(156.0 nm),acid pH-responsive drug release profile,and enhanced cellular internalization capacity.In view of the combination benefit of photodynamic therapy and chemotherapy,as well as co-encapsulation in the fabricated pH-sensitive supramolecular NPs,TPL+Ce6/NPs exhibited significant efficacy to suppress cellular proliferation,boost ROS level,lower MMP,and promote cellular apoptosis in vitro.Particularly,fluorescence imaging revealed that TPL+Ce6/NPs preferentially accumulated in the tumor tissue area,with higher intensity than that of free Ce6.As expected,upon 650-nm laser irradiation,TPL+Ce6/NPs exhibited a cascade of amplified synergistic chemo-photodynamic therapeutic benefits to suppress tumor progression in both hepatoma H22 tumor-bearingmice and B16 tumor-bearingmice.More importantly,lower systemic toxicitywas found in the tumor-bearingmice treated with TPL+Ce6/NPs.Overall,the designed supramolecular TPL+Ce6/NPs provided a promising alternative approach for chemo-photodynamic therapy in tumor treatment. | Yihan Wu Jingjing Li Xuemei Zhong Jinfeng Shi Yanfen Cheng Chenglin He Jiaxin Li Liang Zou Chaomei Fu Meiwan Chen Jinming Zhang Huile Gao | 2022 | Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2022,17,2: | 4 |

| 7 | Advances of nanoparticles as drug delivery systems for disease diagnosis and treatment显示文摘Decades have passed since the first nanoparticles-base medicine was approved for human cancer treatment, and the research and development of nanoparticles for drug delivery are always undergoing.Nowadays, the significant advances complicate nanoparticles’ branches, including liposomes, solid lipid nanoparticles, inorganic nanoparticles, micelles, nanovaccines and nano-antibodies, etc. These nanoparticles show numerous capabilities in treatment and diagnosis of stubborn diseases like cancer and neurodegenerative diseases, emerging as novel drug carriers or therapeutic agents in future. In this review, the complicated branches of nanoparticles are classified and summarized, with their property and functions concluded. Besides, there are also some delivery strategies that make nanoparticles smarter and more efficient in drug delivery, and frontiers in these strategies are also summarized in this review. | 9 | Effect of Ultra-high Pressure Treatment on the Quality of Persimmon Pulp显示文摘Different pressures and different durations of ultra-high pressure treatment were conducted for persimmon pulp after vacuum packing.The results showed that with the increase of pressure and extension of duration,the total number of bacteria in persimmon pulp decreased gradually.The treatment at 400 MPa for 15 min could meet the requirement of commercial sterility.After treatment,the color and the contents of soluble sugar,soluble solids and titratable acid of persimmon pulp were not changed significantly compared with the control group(P >0.05).The content of vitamin C in persimmon pulp declined gradually with the increase in pressure and time,with the maximum loss of 8.06% observed at 600 MPa for 20 min.Peroxidase( POD) activity also declined gradually with the increase of pressure and time.The activity of polyphenol oxidase( PPO) declined gradually with the increase of time,and increased first and then decreased with the increase of pressure.The content of polyphenols increased first and then decreased with the increase in pressure,and tended to increase overall with the increase in time.Under the treatment of 400 MPa for 20 min,the content of polyphenols reached the maximum.The antioxidant capacity of persimmon pulp after ultra-high pressure treatment was higher than that in the control group,but no significant differences were found among the treatment groups( P > 0.05).Compared with the control group,soluble tannin content was increased after ultra-high pressure treatment,but was far below the critical value for astringency(2 mg/g).In conclusion,ultra-high pressure treatment has only a slight effect on the sensory quality of persimmon pulp and can maintain its nutritional quality to a large extent and improve its antioxidant capacity.Moreover,ultra-high pressure treatment can eliminate astringency completely. | Zhihong LIANG Xiaoping LI Huiling RU Yingzhong LU | 2018 | Asian Agricultural Research2018,10,7: | 1 |

The volatile oil of A. argyi was emulsified with 1% Tween-80, and drug susceptibility test was conducted with avian Escherichia coli. The results showed that the volatile oil of A. argyi had antibacterial effect against avian E. coli, and the minimal inhibitory concentration was 50 mg/mL. Taking six common antibiotics as the control, drug susceptibility test was conducted with volatile oil of A. argyi. | 18 | Ample dietary fat reduced the risk of primary vesical calculi by inducing macrophages to engulf budding crystals in mice显示文摘Although primary vesical calculi is an ancient disease,the mechanism of calculi formation remains unclear.In this study,we established a novel primary vesical calculi model with D,L-choline tartrate in mice.Compared with commonly used melamine and ethylene glycol models,our model was the only approach that induced vesical calculi without causing kidney injury.Previous studies suggest that proteins in the daily diet are the main contributors to the prevention of vesical calculi,yet the effect of fat is overlooked.To assay the relationship of dietary fat with the formation of primary vesical calculi,D,L-choline tartrate-treated mice were fed a high-fat,low-fat,or normal-fat diet.Genetic changes in the mouse bladder were detected with transcriptome analysis.A high-fat diet remarkably reduced the morbidity of primary vesical calculi.Higher fatty acid levels in serum and urine were observed in the high-fat diet group,and more intact epithelia in bladder were observed in the same group compared with the normal-and low-fat diet groups,suggesting the protective effect of fatty acids on bladder epithelia to maintain its normal histological structure.Transcriptome analysis revealed that the macrophage differentiation-related gene C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 14(Cxcl14)was upregulated in the bladders of high-fat diet-fed mice compared with those of normal-or low-fat diet-fed mice,which was consistent with histological observations.The expression of CXCL14 significantly increased in the bladder in the high-fat diet group.CXCL14 enhanced the recruitment of macrophages to the crystal nucleus and induced the transformation of M2 macrophages,which led to phagocytosis of budding crystals and prevented accumulation of calculi.In human bladder epithelia(HCV-29)cells,high fatty acid supplementation significantly increased the expression of CXCL14.Dietary fat is essential for the maintenance of physiological functions of the bladder and for the prevention of primary vesical calculi,which provides new ideas for the reduction of morbidity of primary vesical calculi. | Huiling Chen Kaiqiang Hu Yaru Liang Yuqi Gao Chenye Zeng Kang Xu Xiaojin Shi Liyuan Li Yuemiao Yin Yi Qiao Ying Qiu Qingfei Liu Zhao Wang | 2022 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,2: | 1 |
