1Arabidopsis co-chaperonin CPN20 antagonizes Mg-chelatase H subunit to derepress ABA-responsive WRKY40 transcription repressor显示文摘Our previous study demonstrated that a chloroplast co-chaperonin 20(CPN20),one of the interaction partners of the magnesium-protoporphyrin IX chelatase H subunit(CHLH/ABAR),negatively regulates ABA signaling at the same node with ABAR but upstream of WRKY40 transcription repressor in Arabidopsis thaliana.In the present experiment,we showed that ABA directly inhibits the ABAR-CPN20 interaction,and also represses expression of CPN20,which depends on ABAR.CPN20 inhibits ABAR-WRKY40 interaction by competitively binding to ABAR.ABAR downregulates,but CPN20 upregulates,WRKY40 expression.The cpn20-1 mutation induces downregulation of WRKY40,and suppresses the upregulated level of WRKY40 due to the cch mutation in the ABAR gene.ABA-induced repressive effect of the WRKY40 gene is strengthened by downregulation of CPN20 but reduced by upregulation of CPN20.Together with our previously reported genetic data,we provide evidence that CPN20 functions through antagonizing the ABAR-WRKY40 coupled pathway,and ABA relieves this pathway of repression by inhibiting the ABAR-CPN20 interaction to activate ABAR-WRKY40 interaction.ZHANG XiaoFeng JIANG Tao YU YongTao WU Zhen JIANG ShangChuan LU Kai FENG XiuJing LIANG Shan LU YanFen WANG XiaoFang ZHANG DaPeng 2014Science China(Life Sciences)2014,57,1:11
2The Estimation Methods for Agricultural Surplus Labor Based on Stochastic Frontier Production Function显示文摘The existing calculation methods for the number of agricultural surplus labor have a common flaw,that is,they can not reflect the impact of technical efficiency changes in agricultural production on the surplus labor. Based on the basic principle of stochastic frontier production function,this paper calculates the agricultural production technical efficiency of various provinces,and selects the province with the highest technical efficiency to assume that its agricultural labor is fully utilized,and there is no agricultural surplus labor. With the ratio of agricultural labor number to agricultural output value in this province as a reference,this paper calculates the number of agricultural surplus labor in other provinces. 3A functionalized separator enables dendrite-free Zn anode via metal-polydopamine coordination chemistry显示文摘Designing a multifunctional separator with abundant ion migration paths is crucial for tuning the ion transport in rocking-chair-type batteries.Herein,a polydopamine-functionalized PVDF(PVDF@PDA)nanofibrous membrane is designed to serve as a separator for aqueous zinc-ion batteries(AZIBs).The functional groups(OH and NH)in PDA facilitate the formation of Zn O and Zn N coordination bonds with Zn ions,homogenizing the Zn-ion flux and thus enabling dendrite-free Zn deposition.Moreover,the PVDF@PDA separator effectively inhibits the shuttling of V-species through the formation of V-O coordination bonds.As a result,the Zn/NH_(4)V_(4)O_(10) battery with the PVDF@PDA separator exhibits enhanced cycling stability(92.3%after 1000 cycles at 5 A g^(-1))and rate capability compared to that using a glass fiber separator.This work provides a new avenue to design functionalized separators for high-performance AZIBs.Yanfen Liu Shude Liu Xuesong Xie Zhicheng Li Pinji Wang Bingan Lu Shuquan Liang Yan Tang Jiang Zhou 2023InfoMat2023,5,3:2
4Effect of arotinolol on right ventricular function in patients with dilated cardiomyopathy显示文摘Objective Dilated cardiomyopathy(DCM) is generally considered to be accompanied by both left and right ventricular dysfunction,but most studies only analyze the left ventricular function. In this study,we evaluated the effect of arotinolol on right ventricular function in patients with DCM. Methods Right ventricular ejection fraction(RVEF) and right ventricular diameter(RVD) were measured by two-dimensional echocardiography(2-DE) in 33 DCM patients;RVEF measured by first-pass radionuclide angiography(FPRA) was compared with that by 2-DE. Results The treatment with arotinolol for one year resulted in a reduction in the right ventricular diameter(baseline,23.0 ± 8.3 mm vs after one-year treatment,20.7 ± 5.4 mm;P=0.004 ) and an associated increase in ejection fraction(baseline,36.9 ± 10.3% vs after one-year treatment,45.8 ± 9.6%;P < 0.001 ) ;there is a high correlation between the 2-DE method and radionuclide ventriculographic method. The correlation coefficient is 0.933(P<0.001) . 5Antimicrobial power of biosynthesized Ag nanoparticles using refined Ginkgo biloba leaf extracts显示文摘Silver nanoparticles(Ag NPs),relative to existing antibacterial agents,are more effective,less toxic and more economical,and have shown enormous potential for the nanomedicine application.In this work,we report a‘green’method for the rapid and efficient synthesis of Ag NPs using Ginkgo biloba extracts as reducing agent and capping agent.The properties of Ag NPs against fungi and bacteria were investigated.The results showed that the Ginkgo biloba extracts are crucial for the preparation of uniform and monodispersed Ag NPs.The prepared Ag NPs exhibited remarkable antibacterial activities.The minimum inhibitory concentrations of Ag NPs for Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa were 0.044 and 0.088μg·mL−1,respectively.Moreover,Ag NPs exhibited excellent bactericidal performance against MDR-Pseudomonas aeruginosa.It was found that the effect of the antibacterial activity of Ag NPs on Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus was tightly related to the reactive oxygen species accumulation.This research provides guidelines for the efficient green synthesis of Ag NPs and its antibacterial applications.Wenbo ZHUANG Dafeng HU Xudong ZHANG Kai XIONG Xiao DING Jian LU Yong MAO Peng YANG Chao LIU Yanfen WAN 2022Frontiers of Materials Science2022,16,2:1

8Concentrations and distribution of novel brominated flame retardants in the atmosphere and soil of Ny-Alesund and London Island,Svalbard,Arctic显示文摘Novel brominated flame retardants(NBFRs)were investigated in Arctic air and soil samples collected from Ny-?lesund and London Island,Svalbard,during Chinese scientific research expeditions to the Arctic during 2014–2015.The concentrations of 9 NBFRs in the Arctic air and soil were 4.9–8.7 pg/m3(average 6.8 pg/m3)and 101–201 pg/g dw(average 150 pg/g dw),respectively.The atmospheric concentration of hexabromobenzene(HBB)was significantly correlated with that of pentabromotoluene(PBT)and pentabromobenzene(PBBz),suggesting similar source and environmental fate in the Arctic air.No significant spatial difference was observed among the different sampling sites,both for air and soil samples,indicating that the effects of the scientific research stations on the occurrence of NBFRs in the Arctic were minor.The fugacities from soil to air of pentabromoethylbenzene(PBEB),2,3-dibromopropyl 2,4,6-tribromophenyl ether(DPTE),and decabromodiphenylethane 1,2-bis(pentabromophenyl)ethane(DBDPE)were lower than the equilibrium value,indicating a nonequilibrium state of these compounds between air and soil,the dominant impact of deposition and the net transport from air to soil.The correlation analysis between the measured and predicted soil-atmosphere coefficients based on the absorption model showed that the impact of the soil organic matter on the distribution of NBFRs in the Arctic region was minor.To the best of our knowledge,this work is one of the limited reports on atmospheric NBFRs in the Arctic and the first study to investigate the occurrence and fate of NBFRs in the Arctic soil.Yanfen Hao Wenying Meng Yingming Li Xu Han Huili Lu Pu Wang Ruiqiang Yang Qinghua Zhang Guibin Jiang 2020Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,11:1

13高山嵩草植物群落花期物候对增水的响应比对恒定增温和逐步增温的响应更敏感显示文摘有研究表明长期观测的植物花期物候变化温度敏感性与野外控制恒定增温试验所得出的花期物候温度敏感性结果不一致,这可能是由于两种观测方法具有不同的增温模式引起的。因为长期观测的气候变暖实际上是气温逐渐升高的情景,而野外控制增温试验所增加的温度是突然增加且每年保持不变。不同的增温模式是否会导致不同的结果目前还缺乏野外试验证据。此外,不同增温模式的效应还受到降水变化的调控。因此,我们于2015–2018年在高寒高山嵩草草甸开展了一项恒定增温(和对照相比,每年保持恒定增温1°C)和逐步增温(和对照相比,2015年增温0.25°C,以后逐年在前一年基础上再增温0.25°C,到2018年相比对照增温1°C)以及与增水(100%/50%)耦合的野外控制试验。研究结果发现,增温模式并没有显著改变群落花期物候。然而,增水显著提前了早花植物和中花植物的初花期,提前了早花植物的末花期,推迟了中花植物的末花期。增水处理并没有显著改变早花植物的开花持续期,但却显著延长了中花植物的开花持续期,进而延长了该群落的开花持续期。增温速率和增水处理并没有显著的交互作用。前一年的干旱会显著抑制第二年该植物群落的现存最大开花数。因此,无论增温模式如何,降水的改变对该高山嵩草植物群落花期物候的影响要大于增温对其的影响。Bowen Li Jianping Sun Shiping Wang Wangwang Lv Yang Zhou Peipei Liu Qi Wang Wang A Suren Zhang Lu Xia Huan Hong Lili Jiang Caiyun Luo Zhenhua Zhang Shilong Piao Yanfen Wang Tsechoe Dorji 2023Journal of Plant Ecology2023,16,2:0

16McMYB4 improves temperature adaptation by regulating phenylpropanoid metabolism and hormone signaling in apple显示文摘Temperature changes affect apple development and production.Phenylpropanoid metabolism and hormone signaling play a crucial role in regulating apple growth and development in response to temperature changes.Here,we found that McMYB4 is induced by treatment at 28℃ and 18℃,and McMYB4 overexpression results in flavonol and lignin accumulation in apple leaves.Yeast one-hybrid(Y1H)assays and electrophoretic mobility shift assays(EMSAs)further revealed that McMYB4 targets the promoters of the flavonol biosynthesis genes CHS and FLS and the lignin biosynthesis genes CAD and F5H.McMYB4 expression resulted in higher levels of flavonol and lignin biosynthesis in apple during growth at 28℃ and 18℃ than during growth at 23℃.At 28℃ and 18℃,McMYB4 also binds to the AUX/ARF and BRI/BIN promoters to activate gene expression,resulting in acceleration of the auxin and brassinolide signaling pathways.Taken together,our results demonstrate that McMYB4 promotes flavonol biosynthesis and brassinolide signaling,which decreases ROS contents to improve plant resistance and promotes lignin biosynthesis and auxin signaling to regulate plant growth.This study suggests that McMYB4 participates in the abiotic resistance and growth of apple in response to temperature changes by regulating phenylpropanoid metabolism and hormone signaling.Suxiao Hao Yanfen Lu Zhen Peng Enying Wang Linke Chao Silin Zhong Yuncong Yao 2021Horticulture Research2021,8,1:0
17Dysplasia of male organs induces apomixis in Malus crabapples显示文摘Apomixis has high value in fruit crop propagation and breeding applications,particularly for the transgenerational fixation of heterosis.In this study,we found that flowers of the triploid Malus cultivar'Royalty'that were bagged after emasculation(EB)and pollinated with pollen from the diploid cultivar'Flame'(EFB)produced high fruit set and increased seed numbers per fruit.The offspring exhibited superior growth vigour compared to those of the diploid sister cultivar'Flame'.The fruit setting rate for'Royalty'EFB was 98.44%,which was much higher than the fruit setting rate for'Royalty'BA(Bagging without emasculation)at 19.7%.The fruit setting rate for'Royalty'EB was 47.46%compared to 19.7%for'Royalty'BA.Furthermore,offspring derived from either'Royalty'EB or EFB exhibited superior growth vigour compared to those of the diploid'Flame'.These results suggested that'Royalty'exhibits facultative apomixis and has strong sexual reproductive ability under the stimulation of foreign pollen.Additionally,'Royalty'anthers did not dehisce after flowering and had malformed pollen grains and a low pollen germination rate.Therefore,we proposed that dysplasia of the male organ could be an important driver factor of apomixis in'Royalty'.Our study provides new insight into the mechanism of apomixis in Malus crabapples.Yujing Hu Yanfen Lu Linke Chao Zhen Wang Yufen Bu Jie Zhang Wenhe Wang Yuncong Yao 2021Ornamental Plant Research2021,1,1:0
18The New Explanation of Market Equilibrium Based on Theory of Labor Value显示文摘There is market equilibrium when the demand willingness is consistent with the supply willingness. From the individual preferences and budget constraints,Western Economics deduced demand curve,causing the traditional demand willingness to be built on the basis of subjective utility. From the relative labor time of economic entity,this paper discusses the relationship between labor time and price readiness,demand curve or supply curve,and establishes the market equilibrium model based on labor value.
