1Economic Optimization Dispatching Strategy of Microgrid for Promoting Photoelectric Consumption Considering Cogeneration and Demand Response显示文摘A system combining photovoltaic power generation and cogeneration is proposed to improve the photoelectric absorption capacity. First, a time-of-use price strategy is adopted to guide users to change their electricity consumption habits for participation in the demand response, and a demand response model is established. Then, particle swarm optimization(PSO)is used with the aim of minimizing the operation cost of the microgrid to achieve economic dispatching of the microgrid. This considers power balance equation constraints, unit operation constraints, energy storage constraints, and heat storage constraints. 2Study on magnetic memory signals of medium carbon steel specimens with surface crack precut during loading process显示文摘Static tensile test and tensile-tensile fatigue test of medium carbon steel sheet specimens with surface crack precut were performed on MTS810 hydraulic testing machine to clear the meaning of the point of Hp(y) value zero. Magnetic memory signals were measured during the test process. The results show that only one point of Hp(y) zero value exists in all measured magnetic signal curves during the loading process, which should be a sign of intersection of positive-negative magnetic poles after magnetic ordered state appears and does not indicate the position of surface crack precut. The analysis shows that the surface crack precut can not interrupt the magnetic ordered state occurred during the test completely, hence its Hp(y) value is not zero. 3Simulating land-use changes by incorporating spatial autocorrelation and self-organization in CLUE-S modeling: a case study in Zengcheng District, Guangzhou, China显示文摘The Conversion of Land Use and its Effects atSmall regional extent (CLUE-S), which is a widely usedmodel for land-use simulation, utilizes logistic regressionto estimate the relationships between land use and itsdrivers, and thus, predict land-use change probabilities.However, logistic regression disregards possible spatialautocorrelation and self-organization in land-use data.Autologistic regression can depict spatial autocorrelationbut cannot address self-organization, while logisticregression by considering only self-organization (NE-logistic regression) fails to capture spatial autocorrelation.Therefore, this study developed a regression (NE-auto-logistic regression) method, which incorporated bothspatial autocorrelation and self-organization, to improveCLUE-S. The Zengcheng District of Guangzhou, Chinawas selected as the study area. The land-use data of 2001,2005, and 2009, as well as 10 typical driving factors, wereused to validate the proposed regression method and theimproved CLUE-S model. Then, three future land-usescenarios in 2020: the natural growth scenario, ecologicalprotection scenario, and economic development scenario,were simulated using the improved model. Validationresults showed that NE-autologistic regression performedbetter than logistic regression, autologistic regression, andNE-logistic regression in predicting land-use changeprobabilities. The spatial allocation accuracy and kappavalues of NE-autologistic-CLUE-S were higher than thoseof logistic-CLUE-S, autologistic-CLUE-S, and NE-logis-tic-CLUE-S for the simulations of two periods, 2001-2009and 2005-2009, which proved that the improved CLUE-Smodel achieved the best simulation and was therebyeffective to a certain extent. The scenario simulation resultsindicated that under all three scenarios, traffic land andresidential/industrial land would increase, whereas arableland and unused land would decrease during 2009-2020.Apparent differences also existed in the simulated changesizes and locations of each land-use type under differentscenarios. 73-D consistency dynamic constitutive model of concrete显示文摘Based on the consistency-viscoplastic constitutive model,the static William-Warnke model with three-parameters is modified and a consistency-viscoplastic William-Warnke model with three-parameters is developed that considers the effect of strain rates. Then,the tangent modulus of the consistency viscoplastic model is introduced and an implicit backward Elure iterative algorithm is developed. Comparisons between the numerical simulations and experimental data show that the consistency model properly provides the uniaxial and biaxial dynamic behaviors of concrete. To study the effect of strain rates on the dynamic response of concrete structures,the proposed model is used in the analysis of the dynamic response of a simply-supported beam and the results show that the strain rate has a significant effect on the displacement and stress magnitudes and distributions. Finally,the seismic responses of a 278 m high arch dam are obtained and compared by using the linear elastic model,as well as rate-independent and rate-dependent William-Warnke three-parameter models. The results indicate that the strain rate affects the first principal stresses,and the maximal equivalent viscoplastic strain rate of the arch dam. 9Herbicide promotes the conjugative transfer of multi-resistance genes by facilitating cellular contact and plasmid transfer显示文摘The global dissemination of antibiotic resistance genes(ARGs),especially via plasmid-mediated horizontal transfer,is becoming a pervasive health threat.While our previous study found that herbicides can accelerate the horizontal gene transfer(HGT)of ARGs in soil bacteria,the underlying mechanisms by which herbicides promote the HGT of ARGs across and within bacterial genera are still unclear.Here,the underlying mechanism associ-ated with herbicide-promoted HGT was analyzed by detecting intracellular reactive oxygen species(ROS)production,extracellular polymeric substance composition,cell membrane integrity and proton motive force combined with genome-wide RNA sequencing.Exposure to herbicides induced a series of the above bacterial responses to promote HGT except for the ROS response,including compact cell-to-cell contact by enhancing pilus-encoded gene expression and decreasing cell surface charge,increasing cell membrane permeability,and enhancing the proton motive force,providing additional power for DNA uptake.This study provides a mechanistic understanding of the risk of bacterial resistance spread promoted by herbicides,which elucidates a new perspective on nonantibiotic agrochemical acceleration of the HGT of ARGs.Xi Li Chang Wen Chen Liu Shiyun Lu Zhongbing Xu Qiue Yang Zhi Chen Hanpeng Liao Shungui Zhou 2022Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,5:2
10Association between serum somatostatin levels and glucose-lipid metabolism in the Jino ethnic minority and Han Chinese population显示文摘We aim to investigate the relationship between serum somatostatin(SST) levels and glucose-lipid metabolism at various stages of glucose tolerance in the Jino ethnic minority(n=111) and Han population(n=113) of Yunnan Province, southwest China.Anthropometric parameters and biochemical traits were measured. Serum SST and plasma glucagon levels were tested. Participants were divided into three subgroups: isolated fasting hyperglycemia(IFH), isolated post challenge hyperglycemia(IPH)and normal glucose tolerance(NGT). SST levels were found lower while glucagon levels were significantly higher in the Jino ethnic with IPH(P=0.0026 and P=0.0069, respectively). Fasting glucose and high density lipoprotein-cholesterol(HDL-C)levels were higher(P=0.0055 and P=0.0021, respectively) and fasting insulin levels and homeostasis model assessments β-cell function were lower(P=0.0479 and P=0.0007, respectively) in the Jino population. After adjusting for confounding factors, the serum SST level was associated with glucagon(P<0.0001) in both populations. The SST level was correlated with fasting Cpeptide(P=0.0267) in Jino and HDL-C levels in Han(P=0.0079). 13SARS-CoV-2 spike protein receptor-binding domain perturbates intracellular calcium homeostasis and impairs pulmonary vascular endothelial cells显示文摘Exposure to the spike protein or receptor-binding domain(S-RBD)of SARS-CoV-2 significantly influences endothelial cells and induces pulmonary vascular endotheliopathy.In this study,angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 humanized inbred(hACE2 Tg)mice and cultured pulmonary vascular endothelial cells were used to investigate how spike protein/S-RBD impacts pulmonary vascular endothelium.Results show that S-RBD leads to acute-to-prolonged induction of the intracellular free calcium concentration([Ca^(2+)]i)via acute activation of TRPV4,and prolonged upregulation of mechanosensitive channel Piezo1 and store-operated calcium channel(SOCC)key component Orai1 in cultured human pulmonary arterial endothelial cells(PAECs).In mechanism,S-RBD interacts with ACE2 to induce formation of clusters involving Orai1,Piezo1 and TRPC1,facilitate the channel activation of Piezo1 and SOCC,and lead to elevated apoptosis.These effects are blocked by Kobophenol A,which inhibits the binding between S-RBD and ACE2,or intracellular calcium chelator,BAPTA-AM.Blockade of Piezo1 and SOCC by GsMTx4 effectively protects the S-RBDinduced pulmonary microvascular endothelial damage in hACE2 Tg mice via normalizing the elevated[Ca^(2+)]i.Comparing to prototypic strain,Omicron variants(BA.5.2 and XBB)of S-RBD induces significantly less severe cell apoptosis.Transcriptomic analysis indicates that prototypic S-RBD confers more severe acute impacts than Delta or Lambda S-RBD.In summary,this study provides compelling evidence that S-RBD could induce persistent pulmonary vascular endothelial damage by binding to ACE2 and triggering[Ca^(2+)]i through upregulation of Piezo1 and Orai1.Targeted inhibition of ACE2-Piezo1/SOCC-[Ca^(2+)]i axis proves a powerful strategy to treat S-RBD-induced pulmonary vascular diseases.Kai Yang Shiyun Liu Han Yan Wenju Lu Xiaoqian Shan Haixia Chen Changlei Bao Huazhuo Feng Jing Liao Shuxin Liang Lei Xu Haiyang Tang Jason X-J.Yuan Nanshan Zhong Jian Wang 2023Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,8:2
14Cloning,expression,identification and bioinformatics analysis of Rv3265c gene from Mycobacterium tuberculosis in Escherichia coli显示文摘Objective:To clone and express Rv3265c gene of Mycobacterium tuberculosis in Escherichia coli (E.coli) under optimistic conditions,obtain and identify protein expressed,analyze the structure and characteristics of the protein using bioinformatics methods for future applications.Methods: Rv3265c gene from Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv was amplified by polymerase chain reaction,and was cloned into the pET-30a vector after purification and recovery.The recombinant plasmid was sequenced and expressed in E.coli BL21(DE3),and then purified and identified by western blotting.The essential physical-chemical properties of the protein were predicated by bioinformatics tools,including subcellular location,secondary structure,domains,antigenic epitopes,etc.Tertiary structure of the protein based on homology modeling was estabUshed,while multi-sequence homological alignment and phylogenetic analysis were preformed.Results:The recombinant protein was obtained in soluble fraction from expression system in E.coli B121(DE3) carrying pET30- Rv3265c plasmid,and Rv3265c gene was expressed correctly.Bioinformatics analysis showed the protein contained no signal peptide and transmembrane helices,located outside of membrane.Secondary structure analysis revealed it containedα-helix,extended strand and random coil,46.8%,14.6%,38.6%,respectively.Furthermore,it possessed six potential antigenic epitopes,one glycosyl transferase domain.A simple three-dimensional model of this protein was constructed by Swiss-model sever.Both sequences and structures were conservative and especial either in gene or in protein.Conclusions:Rv3265c gene might be a desirable molecular target for anti-tuberculosis drug and vaccine.The purified protein from expression will be utilized to study the kinetics of L-rhamnosyltransferase and to develope an enzyme assay for screening vaccine or drug.Qiang Wu Peng Zhou Shiyun Qian Xi Qin Qiongyao Fu Zhinong Zhan Hua Pei 2011Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2011,4,4:2

16Plasma reforming of toluene as a model tar compound from biomass gasification:effect of CO_(2) and steam显示文摘In this study, plasma reforming of toluene as a tar model compound from biomass gasification has been carried out using an AC gliding arc discharge reactor. The influence of steam and CO_(2) addition on the reforming of toluene has been evaluated. The results show that the highest toluene conversion (59.9%) was achieved when adding 3 vol% CO_(2) at a toluene concentra-tion of 16.1 g/Nm3 and a specific energy input of 0.25 kWh/m3. Further increasing CO_(2) concentration to 12 vol% decreased the conversion of toluene. The presence of steam in the plasma CO_(2) reforming of toluene creates oxidative OH radicals which contribute to the enhanced conversion of toluene and energy efficiency of the plasma reforming process through stepwise oxidation of toluene and reaction intermediates. Hydrogen and C_(2)H_(2) were identified as the major gas products in the plasma reforming of toluene without CO_(2) or steam, with a yield of 9.7% and 14.5%, respectively, while syngas was the primary products with a maximum yield of 58.3% (27.5% for H_(2) and 30.8% for CO) in the plasma reforming with the addition of 12 vol% CO_(2). 17Enhanced thermoelectric performance of two dimensional MS2(M=Mo,W)through phase engineering显示文摘The potential application of monolayer MS2(M?Mo,W)as thermoelectric material has been widely studied since the first report of successful fabrication.However,their performances are hindered by the considerable band gap and the large lattice thermal conductivity in the pristine 2H phase.Recent discoveries of polymorphism in MS2s provide new opportunities for materials engineering.In this work,phonon and electron transport properties of both 2H and 1T0 phases were investigated by first-principle calculations.It is found that upon the phase transition from 2H to 1T0 in MS2,the electron transport is greatly enhanced,while the lattice thermal conductivity is reduced by several times.These features lead to a significant enhancement of power factor by one order of magnitude in MoS2 and by three times in WS2.Meanwhile,the figure of merit can reach up to 0.33 for 1T0eMoS2 and 0.68 for 1T0eWS2 at low temperature.These findings indicate that monolayer MS2 in the 1T0 phase can be promising materials for thermoelectric devices application.Meanwhile,this work demonstrates that phase engineering techniques can bring in one important control parameter in materials design.Bin Ouyang Shunda Chen Yuhang Jing Tianran Wei Shiyun Xiong Davide Donadio 2018Journal of Materiomics2018,4,4:2

20Cloning, sequencing and structural analysis of a pea cDNA encoding EF-1α显示文摘A cDNA library with the capacity of 2.0×106 was constructed using mRNA extracted, from gibberellic acid (GA)-treated G2 pea seedlings and a 1.6 kb cDNA with 100 nucleotides of 5’ non-coding region and 223 nucleotides of 3’ non-coding region was obtained by random screening. The DNA fragment contains an open reading frame of 1 344 nucleotides and encodes 447 amino acids. Seguence analysis of DNA and deduced polypeptide demonstrated that it encoded for a pea elongation factor 1-alpha (EF-1α).
