1Evaluation on Tourism Ecological Security in Nature Heritage Sites——Case of Kanas Nature Reserve of Xinjiang,China显示文摘The nature heritages are the precious legacy of nature with outstanding scientific and aesthetic value. They are quite different from other common ecotourism areas, because of its original and unique system, sensitive and vulnerable landscape, and peripheral cultural features. Therefore, the tourism development in the nature heritage sites should be on the premise of ecological security. The evaluation index system of tourism ecological security in nature heritage sites was constructed in this article by AHP and Delphi methods, including nature ecological security, landscape visual security and local culture ecological security, and the security thresholds of indices were also established. In the indices' weights of the evaluation model, the nature ecological security ranked the highest, followed by tourist landscape visual security and culture ecological security, which reflected the influence degree of the limited factor to tourism ecological security. Then, this paper carried out an empirical study of Kanas of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, China, which has the potential to be the World Nature Heritage. On the basis of the data attained from survey and observation on the spot, as well as questionnaire answered by tourists and local communities, the ecological security status in Kanas was evaluated. The result showed that the status of Kanas tourism ecological security was better, but there had some limiting factors. 2Estimation on Aesthetic Value of Tourist Landscapes in a Natural Heritage Site:Kanas National Nature Reserve,Xinjiang,China显示文摘Most world natural heritage sites are designated partly by reason of their prominent aesthetic values in accordance with Article Ⅶ of World Natural Heritage Convention.In this paper, the aesthetic values of Kanas National Nature Reserve, which has potential for such designation, was analyzed quantitatively using scenic beauty estimation(SBE).The landscapes of 19 representative scenic spots in the Kanas National Nature Reserve in summer and autumn were selected as the objects of evaluation.The contributions of different landscape factors to the aesthetic value of the Kanas National Nature Reserve were revealed using a multivariate quantitative model.The main factors affecting the aesthetic value were waterscapes, vegetation, mountains, folk culture and the tourist environment.The t-test and F-test results are extremely significant.According to the results, some suggestions were given for conserving the landscapes in the Kanas National Nature Reserve.DI Feng YANG Zhaoping LIU Xuling WU Jingrui MA Zhongguo 2010Chinese Geographical Science2010,20,1:11
3Development and Conservation of Glacier Tourist Resources——A Case Study of Bogda Glacier Park显示文摘Glacier is one kind of the most beautiful geological sightseeing in the world as well as a special kind of tourism resources.The characters of glacier tourism include scarcity,frangibility,localization of tourist activity,scien-tific connotation,and integrated function and value.The paper summarizes the latest researches in developing glacier tourism resources.Regarding the Bogda Glacier Park as an example,the authors analyze the characteristics of glacier tourism resources in detail and the conditions and potential threats of glacier tourism development.Suggestions on glacier tourism development and protection are given as follows:1) to plan function subarea scientifically and rea-sonably;2) to combine tourism,scientific research with ecological education;3) to take countermeasures of environ-mental protection;4) to integrate tourism resources and strengthening regional cooperation.Finally,emphases are put forward on resources conformity along the tourism line and cooperation of tourism management.The paper aims to seek after the coordination path in exploitation and protection of glacier tourism resources to guide the exploitation of other glacier tourism destinations.LIU Xuling YANG Zhaoping XIE Ting 2006Chinese Geographical Science2006,16,4:8

5Effects of complement inhibition on the ABC phenomenon in rats显示文摘Researchers reported that intravenously injected PEGylated colloidal drug carriers lose their long-circulating characteristic and accumulated extensively in liver when they are administrated twice in the same animal with certain intervals. This phenomenon was referred to as the 'accelerated blood clearance(ABC) phenomenon'. Some former studies had found that complement-mediated phagocytosis, activated by antigen–antibody complex, was responsible for inducing the phenomenon. According to the theory, we have used cobra venom factor to deplete complement in vivo and to investigate the effect of complement inhibition on the ABC phenomenon. Rats were administered by injection of cobra venom factor solution to build up the model of complement exhaustion/inhibition, and the effect of the inhibition of complement on ABC phenomenon was carried out. It seemed that inhibition of complement didn’t affect the pharmacokinetic of the first infection. By contrast, in rats of which complement had been depleted, the second dose of PEGylated nanoemulsions showed enhanced circulation time compared with normal rats in a complement inhibition-independent manner, but the ABC phenomenon was not completely eliminated. 6Empirical Analysis of Xinjiang's Bilateral Trade: Gravity Model Approach显示文摘Based on the basic trade gravity model and Xinjiang's practical situation, new explanatory variables (GDP, GDPpc and SCO) are introduced to build an extended trade gravity model fitting for Xinjiang's bilateral trade. From the empirical analysis of this model, it is proposed that those three variables affect the Xinjiang's bilateral trade posi- tively. Whereas, geographic distance is found to be a significant factor influencing Xinjiang’s bilateral trade negatively. Then, by the extended trade gravity model, this article analyzes the present trade situation between Xinjiang and its main trade partners quantitatively in 2004. The results indicate that Xinjiang cooperates with its most trade partners successfully in terms of present economic scale and developing level. Xinjiang has established successfully trade part- nership with Central Asia, Central Europe and Eastern Europe, Western Europe, East Asia and South Asia. However, the foreign trade development with West Asia is much slower. 7Sinoatrial node pacemaker cells share dominant biological properties with glutamatergic neurons显示文摘Activation of the heart normally begins in the sinoatrial node(SAN).Electrical impulses spontaneously released by SAN pacemaker cells(SANPCs)trigger the contraction of the heart.However,the cellular nature of SANPCs remains controversial.Here,we report that SANPCs exhibit glutamatergic neuron-like properties.By comparing the single-cell transcriptome of SANPCs with that of cells from primary visual cortex in mouse,we found that SANPCs co-clustered with cortical neurons.Tissue and cellular imaging confirmed that SANPCs contained key elements of glutamatergic neurotransmitter system,expressing genes encoding glutamate synthesis pathway(G/s),ionotropic and metabotropic glutamate receptors(Grina,Gria3,Grm1 and Grm5)t and glutamate transporters(Slc17a7).SANPCs highly expressed cell markers of glutamatergic neurons(Snap25 and S/-c17a7)t whereas Gad1,a marker of GABAergic neurons,was negative.Functional studies revealed that inhibition of glutamate receptors or transporters reduced spontaneous pacing frequency of isolated SAN tissues and spontaneous Ca2+transients frequency in single SANPC.Collectively,our work suggests that SANPCs share dominant biological properties with glutamatergic neurons,and the glutamatergic neurotransmitter system may act as an intrinsic regulation module of heart rhythm,which provides a potential intervention target for pacemaker cell-associated arrhythmias.Dandan Liang Zhigang Xue Jinfeng Xue Duanyang Xie Ke Xiong Huixing Zhou Fulei Zhang Xuling Su Guanghua Wang Qicheng Zou Yi Liu Jian Yang Honghui Ma Luying Peng Chunyu Zeng Gang Li Li Wang Yi-Han Chen 2021Protein & Cell2021,12,7:1
8Selection footprints reflect genomic changes associated with breeding efforts in 56 cucumber inbred lines显示文摘Cucumber selective breeding over recent decades has dramatically increased productivity and quality,but the genomic characterizations and changes associated with this breeding history remain unclear.Here,we analyzed the genome resequencing data of 56 artificially selected cucumber inbred lines that exhibit various phenotypes to detect trait-associated sequence variations that reflect breeding improvement.We found that the 56 cucumber lines could be assigned to group 1 and group 2,and the two groups formed a distinctive genetic structure due to the breeding history involving hybridization and selection.Differentially selected regions were identified between group 1 and group 2,with implications for genomic-selection breeding signatures.These regions included known quantitative trait loci or genes that were reported to be associated with agronomic traits.Our results advance knowledge of cucumber genomics,and the 56 selected inbred lines could be good germplasm resources for breeding.Bin Liu Dailu Guan Xuling Zhai Sen Yang Shudan Xue Shuying Chen Jing Huang Huazhong Ren Xingwang Liu 2019Horticulture Research2019,6,1:0
9Glutamate drives local Ca^(2+)release'in cardiac pacemaker cells显示文摘The sinoatrial node(SAN)is the origin of the electrical signals for rhythmic heartbeats in mammals.The spontaneous fring of SAN pacemaker cells(SANPCS)triggers cardiac contraction.'Local Ca^(2+)release'(LCR),a unique cellular activity,acts as the'engine'of the spontaneous fring of SANPCs.However,the mechanism of LCR initiation remains unclear.Here,we report that endogenous glutamate drives LCRs in SANPCs.Using a glutamate sensor,we unraveled a tight correlation between glutamate accumulation and LCR occurrence,indicating a potential relationship between glutamate and LCRs.Intracellular application of glutamate significantly enhanced the LCRs in both intact and permeabilized SANPCs.Mechanitically,we revealed that mitochondrial excitatory amino acid transporter 1(EAAT 1)-dependent mitochondrial glutamate import promoted ROS generation,which in turn led to the oxidation of Ca^(2+)-handling proteins,ultimately resulting in enhanced LCRs.Importantly,EAAT1 depletion reduced both the spontaneous fring rates of isolated SANPCs and the heart rate in vitro and in vivo,suggesting the central role of EAAT1 as a glutamate transporter in the regulation of cardiac autonomic rhythm.In conclusion,our results indicate that glutamate serves as an LCR igniter in SANPCs,adding a potentially important element to the coupled clock theory that explains the origin of spontaneous firing.These findings shed new light on the future prevention and treatment of cardiac pacemaker cell-related arrhythmias.Duanyang Xie Ke Xiong Xuling Su Guanghua Wang Qicheng Zou Luxin Wang Caihong Zhang Yuting Cao Beihua Shao Yixin Zhang Peidong Zhang Dandan Liang Yi Liu Yi-Han Chen 2022Cell Research2022,32,9:0
10Using bio-orthogonally catalyzed lethality strategy to generate mitochondria-targeting anti-tumor metallodrugs in vitro and in vivo显示文摘Synthetic lethality was proposed nearly a century ago by geneticists and recently applied to develop precision anti-cancer therapies.To exploit the synthetic lethality concept in the design of chemical anti-cancer agents,we developed a bio-orthogonally catalyzed lethality(BCL)strategy to generate targeting anti-tumor metallodrugs both in vitro and in vivo.Metallodrug Ru-rhein was generated from two non-toxic species Ru-N_(3)and rhein-alkyne via exclusive endogenous copper-catalyzed azide alkyne cycloaddition(Cu AAC)reaction without the need of an external copper catalyst.The non-toxic species Ru-arene complex Ru-N_(3)and rhein-alkyne were designed to perform this strategy,and the mitochondrial targeting product Ru-rhein was generated in high yield(>83%)and showed high anti-tumor efficacy in vitro.This BCL strategy achieved a remarkable tumor suppression effect on the tumor-bearing mice models.It is interesting that the combination of metal-arene complexes with rhein via Cu AAC reaction could transform two non-toxic species into a targeting anti-cancer metallodrug both in vitro and in vivo,while the product Ru-rhein was non-toxic towards normal cells.This is the first example that exclusive endogenous copper was used to generate metal-based anti-cancer drugs for cancer treatment.The anti-cancer mechanism of Ru-rhein was studied and autophagy was induced by increased reactive oxygen species and mitochondrial damage.The generality of this BCL strategy was also studied and it could be extended to other metal complexes such as Os-arene and Ir-arene complexes.Compared with the traditional methods for cancer treatment,this work presented a new approach to generating targeting metallodrugs in vivo via the BCL strategy from non-toxic species in metal-based chemotherapy.Xuling Xue Chenggen Qian Qin Tao Yuanxin Dai Mengdi Lv Jingwen Dong Zhi Su Yong Qian Jing Zhao Hong-Ke Liu Zijian Guo 2021National Science Review2021,8,9:0
11simple and effective aerosol pathogen disinfection test for a flowing air disinfector显示文摘Aerosol transmission is an important disease transmission route and has been especially pertinent to hospital and biosafety laboratories during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.The thermal resistance of airborne SARS-CoV-2 is lower than that of Bacillus subtilis spores,which are often used to test the effectiveness of SARS-CoV-2 and other pathogen disinfection methods.Herein,we propose a new method to test the disinfection ability of a flowing air disinfector(a digital electromagnetic induction air heater)using B.subtilis spores.The study provides an alternative air disinfection test method.The new test system combined an aerosol generator and a respiratory filter designed in-house and could effectively recover spores on the filter membrane at the air outlet after passing through the flowing air disinfector.The total number of bacterial spores used in the test was within the range of 5×10^(5)–5×10^(6)colony-forming units(CFUs)specified in the technical standard for disinfection.The calculation was based on the calculation method in Air Disinfection Effect Appraisal Test in Technical Standard for Disinfection(2002 Edition).At an air speed of 3.5 m/s,we used a digital electromagnetic induction air heater to disinfect flowing air containing 4.100×10^(6)CFUs of B.subtilis spores and determined that the minimum disinfection temperature was 350℃for a killing rate of 99.99%.At 400℃,additional experiments using higher spore concentrations(4.700×10^(6)±1.871×10^(5)CFU)and a higher airspeed(4 m/s)showed that the killing rate remained>99.99%.B.subtilis spores,as a biological indicator for testing the efficiency of dry-heat sterilization,were killed by the high temperatures used in this system.The proposed method used to test the flowing air disinfector is simple,stable,and effective.This study provides a reference for the development of test systems that can assess the disinfection ability of flowing air disinfectors.Xuling Liu Zhiran Qin Linqing Wang Xiaoting Xie Yifang Fu Jianhai Yu Zuxin Liang Xiaoen He Jingshu Li Hong Dai Jinxiu Yao Qinghua Wu Weiwei Xiao Li Zhu Chengsong Wan Bao Zhang Wei Zhao 2023Journal of Biosafety and Biosecurity2023,5,1:0
12Long noncoding RNA lnc_217 regulates hepatic lipid metabolism by modulating lipogenesis and fatty acid oxidation显示文摘Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is considered a major health epidemic with an estimated 32.4% worldwide prevalence. No drugs have yet been approved and therapeutic nodes remain a major unmet need. Long noncoding RNAs are emerging as an important class of novel regulators influencing multiple biological processes and the pathogenesis of NAFLD. Herein, we described a novel long noncoding RNA, lnc_217, which was liver enriched and upregulated in high-fat diet-fed mice, and a genetic animal model of NAFLD. We found that liver specific knockdown of lnc_217 was resistant to high-fat diet-induced hepatic lipid accumulation and decreased serum lipid in mice. Mechanistically, we demonstrated that knockdown of lnc_217 not only decreased de novo lipogenesis by inhibiting sterol regulatory element binding protein-1c cleavage but also increased fatty acid β- oxidation through activation of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor α and carnitine palmitoyltransferase-1α. 13A CBL4-CIPK6 module confers salt tolerance in cucumber显示文摘Soil salinization is a major threat to cucumbers grown under protected cultivation.Under stressful environments,calcineurin B-like proteins(CBLs)can sense and bind Ca2+signals and regulate CBL-interacting protein kinases(CIPKs)to transmit signals and induce cellular responses.Although CBL-CIPK modules play central roles in plant development and response to various abiotic stresses in Arabidopsis,little is known about their functions in cucumber.In this study,we demonstrate that CsCBL4 interacts with CsCIPK6,which exhibited similar responses to salt stress in cucumber.Furthermore,salt stress resulted in greater accumulation of CsCBL4 and CsCIPK6.Comprehensive phenotype analysis demonstrated that silencing CsCBL4 or CsCIPK6 reduced the salt tolerance of cucumber,and overexpression of CsCBL4 increased the salt tolerance of Arabidopsis.Collectively,these results indicate that the CsCBL4-CsCIPK6 module plays an important role in the resistance of cucumber to salt stress.The information provides insights for the genetic breeding of salt tolerance in cucumber in the future.Mingfei Wang Songlin Yang Lei Sun Zhongxuan Feng Yiming Gao Xuling Zhai Yuming Dong Haoying Wu Yuanyuan Cui Sen Li Shuo Xu Ezra S.Bartholomew Huazhong Ren Xingwang Liu 2022Vegetable Research2022,2,1:0
14AtMYBS1 negatively regulates heat tolerance by directly repressing the expression of MAX1 required for strigolactone biosynthesis in Arabidopsis显示文摘Heat stress caused by global warming requires the development of thermotolerant crops to sustain yield.It is necessary to understand the molecular mechanisms that underlie heat tolerance in plants.Strigolactones(SLs)are a class of carotenoid-derived phytohormones that regulate plant development and responses to abiotic or biotic stresses.Although SL biosynthesis and signaling processes are well established,genes that directly regulate SL biosynthesis have rarely been reported.Here,we report that the MYB-like transcription factor AtMYBS1/AtMYBL,whose gene expression is repressed by heat stress,functions as a negative regulator of heat tolerance by directly inhibiting SL biosynthesis in Arabidopsis.Overexpression of AtMYBS1 led to heat hypersensitivity,whereas atmybs1 mutants displayed increased heat tolerance.Expression of MAX1,a critical enzyme in SL biosynthesis,was induced by heat stress and downregulated in AtMYBS1-overexpression(OE)plants but upregulated in atmybs1 mutants.Overexpression of MAX1 in the AtMYBS1-OE background reversed the heat hypersensitivity of AtMYBS1-OE plants.Loss of MAX1 function in the atmyb1 background reversed the heat-tolerant phenotypes of atmyb1 mutants.Yeast one-hybrid assays,chromatin immunoprecipitation‒qPCR,and transgenic analyses demonstrated that AtMYBS1 directly represses MAX1 expression through the MYB binding site in the MAX1 promoter in vivo.The atmybs1d14 double mutant,like d14 mutants,exhibited hypersensitivity to heat stress,indicating the necessary role of SL signaling in AtMYBS1-regulated heat tolerance.Our findings provide new insights into the regulatory network of SL biosynthesis,facilitating the breeding of heat-tolerant crops to improve crop production in a warming world.Xiang Li Jianhua Lu Xuling Zhu Yanqi Dong Yanli Liu Shanshan Chu Erhui Xiong Xu Zheng Yongqing Jiao 2023Plant Communications2023,4,6:0
15Analysis of the Implementation of Integrated Healthcare Management in Preoperative Preparation显示文摘Objective:To strengthen preoperative preparation management and reduce preoperative preparation defects.Methods:We set up a special medical care management team to investigate the preoperative preparation in surgical departments,analyze the causes of the shortcomings in preoperative preparation,and propose countermeasures.The medical staff jointly formulated plans related to preoperative preparation management including clear outline of responsibilities,strengthening of training,integrated medical care,timely feedback,and continuous improvement.Besides,the preoperative preparation of patients before and after the improvement measures were compared using statistical analysis.Results:The rate of inadequate preoperative preparation was 11.14 per thousand before the integrated management model was implemented.After the implementation of the integrated management model,the rate of inadequate preoperative preparation decreased to 2.99 per thousand,and the difference was statistically(P<0.05).Conclusion:The integrated management of preoperative preparation can help reduce the rate of preoperative complications and ensure the safety of surgery.Huiling Liu Xuling Li Xinyi Liu Yuhua Ma Haomin Li Cuiqing Liu 2023Journal of Clinical and Nursing Research2023,7,3:0
