| 1 | Porous Graphene Microflowers for High-Performance Microwave Absorption显示文摘Graphene has shown great potential in microwave absorption(MA) owing to its high surface area, low density,tunable electrical conductivity and good chemical stability.To fully realize graphenes& MA ability, the microstructure of graphene should be carefully addressed. Here we prepared graphene microflowers(Gmfs) with highly porous structure for high-performance MA filler material. The efficient absorption bandwidth(reflection loss B-10 dB) reaches 5.59 GHz and the minimum reflection loss is up to -42.9 dB, showing significant increment compared with stacked graphene. Such performance is higher than most graphene-based materials in the literature. Besides, the low filling content(10 wt%) and low density(40–50 mg cm^(-3))are beneficial for the practical applications. Without compounding with magnetic materials or conductive polymers,Gmfs show outstanding MA performance with the aid of rational microstructure design. | 5 | NeuroBiometric:An Eye Blink Based Biometric Authentication System Using an Event-Based Neuromorphic Vision Sensor显示文摘The rise of the Internet and identity authentication systems has brought convenience to people's lives but has also introduced the potential risk of privacy leaks.Existing biometric authentication systems based on explicit and static features bear the risk of being attacked by mimicked data.This work proposes a highly efficient biometric authentication system based on transient eye blink signals that are precisely captured by a neuromorphic vision sensor with microsecond-level temporal resolution.The neuromorphic vision sensor only transmits the local pixel-level changes induced by the eye blinks when they occur,which leads to advantageous characteristics such as an ultra-low latency response.We first propose a set of effective biometric features describing the motion,speed,energy and frequency signal of eye blinks based on the microsecond temporal resolution of event densities.We then train the ensemble model and non-ensemble model with our Neuro Biometric dataset for biometrics authentication.The experiments show that our system is able to identify and verify the subjects with the ensemble model at an accuracy of 0.948 and with the non-ensemble model at an accuracy of 0.925.The low false positive rates(about 0.002)and the highly dynamic features are not only hard to reproduce but also avoid recording visible characteristics of a user's appearance.The proposed system sheds light on a new path towards safer authentication using neuromorphic vision sensors. | Guang Chen Fa Wang Xiaoding Yuan Zhijun Li Zichen Liang Alois Knoll | 2021 | IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2021,8,1: | 3 |

We construct Least mean square filters(LMSF),and using LMSFs to evaluate the quality of halftone images. This paper proposes block conjugate property, and this property can be applied to hide a secret pattern.Therefore a data hiding method based on block conjugate can be proposed, and in this method two images should be divided into multiple blocks of M × N pixels, and in the corresponding block if the first M × N-1 pixels are conjugate or identical, the last pixel can implement normal halftone method instead of date hiding methods. | 12 | (k, n) halftone visual cryptography based on Shamir' s secret sharing显示文摘(k,n) halftone visual cryptography( HVC) is proposed based on Shamir's secret sharing( HVCSSS),and through this method a binary secret image can be hided into n halftone images,and the secret image can be revealed from any k halftone images. Firstly,using Shamir's secret sharing,a binary secret image can be shared into n meaningless shares; secondly,hiding n shares into n halftone images through self-hiding method; and then n extracted shares can be obtained from n halftone images through self-decrypt method; finally,picking any k shares from n extracted shares,the secret image can be revealed by using Lagrange interpolation. The main contribution is that applying Shamir's secret sharing to realize a(k,n) HVC,and this method neither requires code book nor suffers from pixel expansion. | 16 | Geological significance of the former Xiong'er Volcanic Belt on the southwestern margin of the North China Craton显示文摘The rock association of low-grade metasedimentary rocks and greenschists located within the Meso- Cenozoic Liupanshan Fault system on the southwestern margin of the North China Craton (NCC)is regarded as part of the Paleoproterozoic Xiong'er Group.These low- grade rocks are separated by normal faults,with the greenschist located in the hanging wails.Zircon LA-ICP- MS U-Pb ages of the greenschists range from 2455 to 423 Ma,suggesting that they are not Paleoproterozoic in age. The protolith ages (206-194 Ma)of the greenschists were determined by LA-ICP-MS U-Pb dating of zircons from two siltstone inteflayers.The petrology and geochemistry of the greenschists reveal that their protolith was continental tholeiitic basalt that formed in an extensional environment such as a continental rift.Thus,it is proposed that the protolith of the greenschists was a mafic volcanic rock of Late Triassic-Early Jurassic age and was metamorphosed during the Jurassic due to tectonism within the Liupanshan tectonic belt.These results show that the greenschists should be reclassified and removed from the Xiong'er Group,and explains why they differ so much from those of typical Xiong'er Group successions in other areas.The formation of the mafic volcanic rocks under conditions of continental rifting differs from that of coeval granitic rocks in the western Qinling Orogen,where the extension occurred during a post-collisional stage in the Late Triassic,which further suggests that the southwestern margin of the NCC became an extensional setting after the Late Triassic. | Guanxu CHEN Jinhai LUO Huan XU Jia YOU Yifei LI Zichen CHE | 2019 | Frontiers of Earth Science2019,13,1: | 1 |
| 17 | Pressureless two-step sintering of ultrafine-grained refractory metals:Tungsten-rhenium and molybdenum显示文摘The challenge of sintering ultrafine-grained refractory metals and alloys to full density is hereby addressed by pressureless two-step sintering in tungsten-rhenium alloy and pure molybdenum. Using properly processed nano powders(~50 nm average particle size), we are able to sinter W-10Re alloy to 98.4% density below 1200 ℃ while maintaining a fine grain size of 260 nm, and sinter molybdenum to 98.3% density below 1120 ℃ while maintaining a fine grain size of 290 nm. Compared to normal sintering,two-step sintering offers record-fine grain sizes and better microstructural uniformity, which translates to better mechanical properties with higher hardness(6.3 GPa for tungsten-rhenium and 4.0 GPa for molybdenum, both being the highest in all pressurelessly sintered samples of the respective material system)and larger Weibull modulus. | 19 | Development and validation of a predictive model for endocervical curettage in patients referred for colposcopy:A multicenter retrospective diagnostic study in China显示文摘Objective:This study aimed to develop a nomogram that can predict occult high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions or worse(HSIL+)and determine the need for endocervical curettage(ECC)in patients referred for colposcopy.Methods:This retrospective multicenter study included 4,149 patients who were referred to any one of six tertiary hospitals in China for colposcopy between January 2020 and November 2021 because of abnormal screening results.ECC data were extracted from the medical records.Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses were performed to identify factors that could predict HSIL+on ECC.Patients were randomly assigned to a training set or to an internal validation set for performance and comparability testing.The model was externally validated and tested in patients from two additional hospitals.The nomogram was assessed in terms of discrimination and calibration and subjected to decision curve analysis.Results:HSIL+was found on ECC in 38.8%(n=388)of cases.Our predictive nomogram included age group,cytology,human papillomavirus(HPV)status,visibility of the cervix and colposcopic impression.The nomogram had good overall discrimination,which was internally validated[area under the receiver-operator characteristic(AUC),0.839;95%confidence interval(95%CI),0.773-0.904].In terms of external validation,the AUC was 0.843(95%CI,0.773-0.912)for the consecutive sample and 0.843(95%CI,0.783-0.902)for the comparative sample.Calibration analysis suggested good consistency between predicted and observed probabilities.Decision curve analysis suggested this nomogram would be clinically useful with almost the entire range of threshold probabilities.Conclusions:This internally and externally validated nomogram can be easily applied and incorporates multiple clinically relevant variables that can be used to identify patients with occult HSIL+who need ECC. | Peng Xue Bingrui Wei Samuel Seery Qing Li Zichen Ye Yu Jiang Youlin Qiao | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2022,34,4: | 1 |
