2Spatio-temporal Changes of ≥10℃ Accumulated Temperature in Northeastern China since 1961显示文摘The objective of this study was to provide reliable basis for decision making for national food security and layout and structure adjustment of grain production in the northeastern China. The data of mean daily air temperature of 1961-2009 from 106 meteorological stations in the northeastern China were chosen in this study. Using statistical methods and isoline method, the spatio-temporal changes of various decadal ≥ 10℃ accumulated temperature and the climatic means of ≥ 10℃ accumulated temperature were studied in this paper. The results showed that 1) The geo-graphical distribution of ≥ 10℃ accumulated temperature in the northeastern China could be influenced directly by the latitude, longitude and altitude. If latitude moved one degree northward, the average decrease amplitude of the climatic means was 101.9℃ in the study area. 2) The means of decadal ≥ 10℃ accumulated temperature rose since the 1980s, and their increase amplitudes became larger in the 1990s and the 2010s obviously. Compared with those of the 1980s, ≥ 10℃ accumulated temperature increased by about 100℃ in the mountainous and plain areas in the 1990s; compared with those of the 1990s, ≥ 10℃ accumulated temperature increased by about 200℃ in the Hulun Buir High Plain and the Songnen Plain, and 100℃ in the Sanjiang Plain and the Liaohe Plain in the 2010s. 3) The means of the decadal ≥ 10℃ accumulated temperature for 106 meteorological stations in the northeastern China increased with the rate of 145.57℃/10yr in 1961-2009. 4) The climatic means of ≥ 10℃ accumulated temperature increased from 1961-1990 to 1971-2000 and 1981-2009. Compared with the climatic mean of 1971-2000, that of 1981-2009 had increased by above 50℃ in most of the study area, even up to 156℃. Compared with the climatic mean of 1961-1990, that of 1981-2009 increased by above 100℃ in most parts of the study area, even up to 200℃. 5) The maximum northward shift, eastward and westward extension amplitudes of 3100℃, 3300℃ and 3500℃ isolines were larger among all isoli-nes for the climatic means of the three phases. 3Clinical Observation of Transepithelial Corneal Collagen Cross-linking by Iontophoresis of Riboflavin in Treatment of Keratoconus显示文摘Purpose: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of transepithelial collagen cross-linking by iontophoretic delivery of riboflavin in treatment of progressive keratoconus.Methods:.Eleven patients(15 eyes) with progressive keratoconus were enrolled. After 0.1% riboflavin-distilled water solution was deliveried via transepithelial iontophpresis for 5 min with 1 m A current, and ultraviolet radiation(370 nm,.3 m W /cm2) was performed at a 1.5 cm distance for 30 min. The follow up were 6 months in all eyes. The uncorrected visual acuity, corrected visual acuity,endothelial cell counting, corneal thickness,.intraocular pressure, corneal curvature, corneal topography,.OCT and corneal opacity before and 6-month after surgery were analyzed.Results: At 6 month postoperatively, mean uncorrected visual acuity and corrected visual acuity changed from 0.36 to 0.30 and from 0.42 to 0.57 without statistical significance..The mean value of each index of corneal curvature declined without statistical significance.Kmax value dereased from 60.91 to59.91, and the astigmatism declined from 3.86 to 3.19. Central corneal thickness decreased from 460.93 μm to 455.40μm,.and thinnest corneal thickness declined from 450.87 μm to 440.60 μm with no statistical significance..Intraocular pressure was significantly elevated from 10.85 mm Hg to 12.62 mm Hg. Endothelial cell count did not change significantly. No corneal haze occurred. 4Diurnal and Seasonal Dynamics of Soil Respiration at Temperate Leymus Chinensis Meadow Steppes in Western Songnen Plain, China显示文摘To evaluate the diurnal and seasonal variations in soil respiration(Rs) and understand the controlling factors, we measured carbon dioxide(CO2) fluxes and their environmental variables using a LI-6400 soil CO2 flux system at a temperate Leymus chinensis meadow steppe in the western Songnen Plain of China in the growing season(May–October) in 2011 and 2012. The diurnal patterns of soil respiration could be expressed as single peak curves, reaching to the maximum at 11:00–15:00 and falling to the minimum at 21:00–23:00(or before dawn). The time-window between 7:00 and 9:00 could be used as the optimal measuring time to represent the daily mean soil CO2 efflux. In the growing season, the daily value of soil CO2 efflux was moderate in late spring(1.06–2.51 μmol/(m2·s) in May), increased sharply and presented a peak in summer(2.95–3.94 μmol/(m2·s) in July), and then decreased in autumn(0.74–0.97 μmol/(m2·s) in October). Soil temperature(Ts) exerted dominant control on the diurnal and seasonal variations of soil respiration. The temperature sensitivity of soil respiration(Q10) exhibited a large seasonal variation, ranging from 1.35 to 3.32, and decreased with an increasing soil temperature. Rs gradually increased with increasing soil water content(Ws) and tended to decrease when Ws exceeded the optimum water content(27%) of Rs. 5Restoration and Rational Use of Degraded Saline Reed Wetlands:A Case Study in Western Songnen Plain, China显示文摘The protection, restoration and sustainable use are key issues of all the wetlands worldwide. Ecological, agronomic, and engineering techniques have been integrated in the development of a structurally sound, ecologically beneficial engineering restoration method for restoring and utilizing a degraded saline wetland in the western Songnen Plain of China. Hydrological restoration was performed by developing a system of biannual irrigation and drainage using civil engineering measures to bring wetlands into contact with river water and improve the irrigation and drainage system in the wetlands. Agronomic measures such as plowing the reed fields, reed rhizome transplantation, and fertilization were used to restore the reed vegetation. Biological measures, including the release of crab and fish fry and natural proliferation, were used to restore the aquatic communities. The results of the restoration were clear and positive. By the year 2009, the reed yield had increased by 20.9 times. Remarkable ecological benefits occurred simultaneously. Vegetation primary-production capacity increased, local climate regulation and water purification enhanced, and biodiversity increased. This demonstration of engineering techniques illustrates the basic route for the restoration of degraded wetlands, that the biodiversity should be reconstructed by the comprehensive application of engineering, biological, and agronomic measures based on habitat restoration under the guidance of process-oriented strategies. 7Iontophoretic Delivery of Riboflavin into the Rabbit Cornea:a Primary Study显示文摘Purpose: To determine the penetrability of riboflavin into the corneal stroma by iontophoresis and to compare the permeability effects of different solvents.Methods: Twenty rabbits were randomly divided into four groups: a group that received 0.1% riboflavin-balanced salt solution(BSS) by iontophoresis, a group that received 0.1%riboflavin-saline solution by iontophoresis, a group that received 0.1% riboflavin-distilled water solution by iontophoresis, and a control group that received classical riboflavin instillation after corneal de-epithelialization. The degree of yellowing of the de-epithelialized corneal stromal button from each rabbit was compared.Results: The yellow color scores for the corneal stromal buttons in the three iontophoresis groups were compared with those of control group. Iontophoretic delivery of a 0.1% riboflavin-distilled water solution yielded similar yellow changes in the corneal stromal button when compared with classical riboflavin instillation after de-epithelialization. However, the other two solvents did not sufficiently enhance the permeability of riboflavin.Conclusion: Riboflavin can effectively penetrate into the corneal stroma to saturation levels by iontophoresis. 9Synergetic catalytic removal of chlorobenzene and NOχfrom waste incineration exhaust over MnNb0.4Ce0.2Oχcatalysts:Performance and mechanism study显示文摘Nb doped MnCe0.2Ox complex oxides catalysts prepared via a homogeneous precipitation method were investigated for synergistic catalytic removal of NOx and chlorobenzene(CB)at low temperatures.The MnNb0.4Ce0.2Ox catalyst with a molar ratio of Nb/Mn=0.4 exhibits excellent activity and the NOx and CB removal efficiency reaches 94.5%and 96%at 220℃,respectively.Furthermore,the NOx and CB removal efficiency of MnNb0.4Ce0.2Ox still remains above 80%after injecting 300 ppm SO2 and 7 vol%H2 O for 36 h.In addition,the presence of CB and NOx+NH3 can improve the NOx and CB removal efficiency of MnNb0.4Ce0.2Ox,respectively.The analysis results from N2-BET,Py-IR,H2-TPR and NH3-TPD reveal that the introduction of Nb increases the average pore size,pore volume and surface area,promoted the growth of Lewis acid amount obviously,and enhances redox ability of MnCe0.2Ox at 100-250℃.Moreover,the molecular migration process of NOx,NH3,CB and SO2 in NH3-SCR and CB oxidation reaction over MnNb0.4Ce0.2Ox catalysts were systematically studied.In situ DRIFTS,FT-IR and XPS also confirm that the adsorption of sulfate species and SO2 on the surface of MnNb0.4Ce0.2Ox is inhibited effectively by the introduction of Nb in the presence of SO2 and H2 O.Moreover,Nb additives also enhance the structural stability of MnNb0.4Ce0.2Ox,due to the interactions among Mn,Nb and Ce.The NH3-TPD,H2-TPR and in situ DRIFTS results also confirm that the MnNb0.4Ce0.2Ox still retains abundant acid sites and high redox ability in the presence of SO2 and H2O.In summary,MnNb0.4Ce0.2Ox catalysts represent a promising and effective candidate for controlling NOx and CB at low temperatures.Bo Yang Qijie Jin Qiong Huang Mindong Chen Leilei Xu Yuesong Shen Haitao Xu Shemin Zhu Xiujun Li 2020Journal of Rare Earths2020,38,11:6
10Geohazard Recognition and Inventory Mapping Using Airborne LiDAR Data in Complex Mountainous Areas显示文摘Geohazard recognition and inventory mapping are absolutely the keys to the establishment of reliable susceptibility and hazard maps. However, it has been challenging to implement geohazards recognition and inventory mapping in mountainous areas with complex topography and vegetation cover. Progress in the light detection and ranging(Li DAR) technology provides a new possibility for geohazard recognition in such areas. Specifically, this study aims to evaluate the performances of the Li DAR technology in recognizing geohazard in the mountainous areas of Southwest China through visually analyzing airborne Li DAR DEM derivatives. Quasi-3 D relief image maps are generated based on the sky-view factor(SVF), which makes it feasible to interpret precisely the features of geohazard. A total of 146 geohazards are remotely mapped in the entire 135 km^(2) study area in Danba County, Southwest China, and classified as landslide, rock fall, debris flow based on morphologic characteristics interpreted from SVF visualization maps. Field validation indicate the success rate of Li DAR-derived DEM in recognition and mapping geohazard with higher precision and accuracy. These mapped geohazards lie along both sides of the river, and their spatial distributions are related highly to human engineering activities, such as road excavation and slope cutting. The minimum geohazard that can be recognized in the 0.5 m resolution DEM is about 900 m^(2). Meanwhile, the SVF visualization method is demonstrated to be a great alternative to the classical hillshaded DEM method when it comes to the determination of geomorphological properties of geohazard. 13CRISPR-Cas9-based genome-wide screening identified novel targets for treating sorafenib-resistant hepatocellular carcinoma:a cross-talk between FGF21 and the NRF2 pathway显示文摘The treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)has been dominated by multikinase inhibitors for more than a decade.However,drug resistance can severely restrict the efficacy of these drugs.Using CRISPR/CAS9 genome library screening,we evaluated Kelch-like ECH-associated protein 1(KEAP1)as a key regulator of sorafenib’s susceptibility in HCC.We also investigated whether KEAP1’s knockdown can stabilize nuclear factor(erythroid-derived 2)-like 2(NRF2)protein levels that led to sorafenib’s resistance,including an NRF2 inhibitor that can synergize with sorafenib to abolish HCC’s growth in vitro and in vivo.Furthermore,we clarified that fibroblast growth factor 21(FGF21)is an important downstream regulator of NRF2 in HCC.Intriguingly,we observed that FGF21 bound to NRF2 through the C-terminus of FGF21,thereby stabilizing NRF2 by reducing its ubiquitination and generating a positive feedback loop in sorafenib-resistant HCC.These findings,therefore,propose that targeting FGF21 is a promising strategy to combat HCC sorafenib’s resistance.Jiang Chen Shi Jiang Huijiang Shao Bixia Li Tong Ji Daniel Staiculescu Jiayan He Jie Zhao Liuxin Cai Xiao Liang Junjie Xu Xiujun Cai 2022Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,10:4
14Role of VEGF-A/C and CCR-7 in the enhanced metastasis of A549 cells induced by 2 and 4 Gy X-rays in vitro and in vivo显示文摘Radiotherapy is a common strategy in treating lung cancer.Accumulating evidence suggested that radiotherapy has the potential to promote the metastasis and invasion of carcinoma cells.In this study,we aimed to testify the role of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)and C-C chemokine receptor-7(CCR-7)in the metastasis of human adenocarcinoma A549 cells in vivo and in vitro.Nude mice were injected with A549 cells irradiated by 0,2 and 4 Gy X-rays,respectively.Quantitative detections of VEGF-A/C and CCR-7 mRNA from lung sample were performed by real-time RT-PCR.Small interfering RNA(siRNA)transfection technology was further used to testify the role of the genes in the metastasis of A549 cells.VEGF and CCR-7mRNA could only be detected 10 weeks post injection in vivo when visible tumor foci scattered in lung.In addition,VEGF-A/C mRNA expressed significantly higher in mice injected with A549 cells irradiated by 2 and 4 X-rays than those with 0 Gy X-rays irradiation.On the other hand,A549 cells with or without X-rays irradiation transfected with VEGF siRAN and CCR-7 siRNA showed a dramatic decrease of invasiveness compared to normal A549 cells with or without irradiation.The migration indexes were?0.7,?0.48,?0.34 and?0.32 for A549 cells with CCR-7 siRNA,VEGF siRNA,X-rays combined CCR-7 siRNA and X-rays combined VEGF-siRNA respectively.These results demonstrated that X-rays could promote the metastasis of A549 cells,and VEGF-A/C and CCR-7 mRNA were closely related to the metastasis of A549 cells in vivo and in vitro.LV Jin JIANG QiSheng SONG XiuJun WANG CuiLan GUO LiJie WANG SiNian LI FengSheng HU WenWei 2014Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,5:4

16Characterization of Water Quality in Xiao Xingkai Lake:Implications for Trophic Status and Management显示文摘Increasing cases of lake eutrophication globally have raised concerns among stakeholders,and particularly in China.Evaluating the causes of eutrophication in waterways is essential for effective pollution prevention and control.Xiao Xingkai Lake is part of and connected to Xingkai(Khanka)Lake,a boundary lake between China and Russia.In this study,we investigated the spatio-temporal variabilities in water quality(i.e.,dissolved oxygen(DO),total nitrogen(TN),total phosphorus(TP),chemical oxygen demand(CODMn)and ammonium-nitrogen(NH4+-N))in Xiao Xingkai Lake,from 2012 to 2014,after which a Trophic Level Index was used to evaluate trophic status,in addition to the factors influencing water quality variation in the lake.The DO,TN,TP,CODMn and NH4+-N concentrations were 0.44-15.57,0.16-5.11,0.01-0.45,0.16-48.31,and 0.19-0.78 mg/L,respectively.Compared to the Environmental Quality Standards for surface water(GB 3838-2002)in China,the lake transitioned to an oligotrophic status in 2013 and 2014 from a mesotrophic status in 2012,TN and TP concentrations were the key factors influencing water quality of Xiao Xingkai Lake.Non-para-metric test results showed that sampling time and sites had significant effects on water quality.Water quality was worse in summer and in tourism and aquaculture areas,followed by agricultural drainage areas.Furthermore,lake water trophic status fluctuated between medium eutrophic and light eutrophic status from September 2012 to September 2014,and was negatively correlated with water level.Water quality in tourism and aquaculture sites were medium eutrophic,while in agricultural areas were light eutrophic.According to the results,high water-level fluctuations and anthropogenic activities were the key factor driving variability in physicochemical parameters associated with water quality in Xiao Xingkai Lake.YU Shuling LI Xiaoyu WEN Bolong CHEN Guoshuang HARTLEYC Anne JIANG Ming LI Xiujun 2021Chinese Geographical Science2021,31,3:4
17Impacts of land use and salinization on soil inorganic and organic carbon in the middle-lower Yellow River Delta显示文摘Soil inorganic carbon(SIC)is an important reservoir of carbon(C)in arid,semi-arid,and semi-humid regions.However,knowledge is incomplete on the dynamics of SIC and its relationship with soil organic C(SOC)under different land use types in the semi-humid region,particularly in coastal zones impacted by soil salinization.We collected 170 soil samples from 34 profiles across various land use types(maize-wheat,cotton,paddy,and reed)in the middle-lower Yellow River Delta(YRD),China.We measured soil pH,electrical conductivity(EC),water-soluble salts,and SOC and SIC contents.Our results showed significant differences in both SOC and SIC among land use types.The dry cropland(maize-wheat and cotton)soils had significantly higher SOC and SIC densities(4.71 and 15.46 kg C m^(-2),respectively)than the paddy soils(3.28 and 14.09 kg C m^(-2),respectively)in the 0–100 cm layer.Compared with paddy soils,reed soils contained significantly higher SOC(4.68 kg C m^(-2))and similar SIC(15.02 kg C m^(-2))densities.There was a significant positive correlation between SOC and SIC densities over a 0–100 cm soil depth in dry cropland soils,but a negative relationship in the paddy soils.On average,SOC and SIC densities under maize-wheat cropping were 15%and 4%lower,respectively,in the salt-affected soils in the middle-lower YRD than the upper YRD.This study indicated that land use types had great influences on both SOC and SIC and their relationship,and salinization had adverse effect on soil C storage in the YRD.Yang GUO Xiujun WANG Xianglan LI Minggang XU Yuan LI Haonan ZHENG Yongming LUO Pete SMITH 2021Pedosphere2021,31,6:4
18Agricultural Climate Change and Wetland Agriculture Study under the Climate Change in the Sanjiang Plain显示文摘With linear curvefitting,Mann-kendall method and Yamamoto method,≥10 ℃accumulated temperature and precipitation from May to September of 6 meteorological stations(Baoqing,fujin,Jiamusi,Hegang,Jixi and Hulin) from 1978 to 2007 were used to explore 30-year agricultural climate change and trend in the Sanjiang Plain.The results showed that ≥10 ℃ accumulated temperature of the 6 stations have risen by 141.0 ℃ to 287.4 ℃ when estimated by their significant linear trends(n=30,α=0.05) over the last 30 years(1978 to 2007).The rates of warming for the last 30 years range from 4.70 ℃per year to 9.58 ℃ per year.There are not significant linear trends on precipitation from May to September of the 6 stations over the last 30 years.The period of 1978 to 1998 in which ≥10 ℃ accumulated temperature is lower is consistent with that in which there is more precipitation from May to September,and warming and drying period has occurred in the Sanjiang Plain since 1999.Under the background of warming and drying agricultural climate,high yield cultivation of Phragmites australis and establishment of Phragmites australis-fish(crab) symbiosis ecosystem in natural mire are the ways for reasonable use of natural wetland.The area of paddy fields has been increasing from 7.25×104 ha in 1978 to 121.2×104 ha in 2006.It is proposed that paddy field range should not be expanded blindly toward the north in the Sanjiang Plain,and chilling injury forecast and prevention should be pay attention to.In the area that the chilling injury happens frequently,the rotation between rice and other crops should be implemented.Measures,which combine drainage,store and irrigation,should be taken instead of single drainage on comprehensive control of regional low and wet croplands to ensure controlling drought and flood.YAN Minhua LIU Xingtu LI Xiujun 2009湿地科学2009,7,1:3
19Diurnal Variation of Soil CO2 Efflux and Its Optimal Measuring Time-window of Temperate Meadow Steppes in Western Songnen Plain, China显示文摘In order to study the diurnal variation of soil CO_2 efflux from temperate meadow steppes in Northeast China, and determine the best time for observation, a field experiment was conducted with a LI-6400 soil CO_2 flux system under five typical plant communities(Suaeda glauca(Sg), Chloris virgata(Cv), Puccinellia distans(Pd), Leymus chinensis(Lc) and Phragmites australis(Pa)) and an alkali-spot land(As) at the meadow steppe of western Songnen Plain. The results showed that the diurnal variation of soil CO_2 efflux exhibited a single peak curve in the growing season. Diurnal maximum soil respiration(Rs) often appeared between 11:00 and 13:00, while the minimum occurred at 21:00–23:00 or before dawn. Air temperature near the soil surface(Ta) and soil temperature at 10 cm depth(T10) exerted dominant control on the diurnal variations of soil respiration. The time-windows 7:00–9:00 could be used as the optimal measuring time to represent the daily mean soil CO_2 efflux at the Cv, Pd, Lc and Pa sites. The daily mean soil CO_2 efflux was close to the soil CO_2 efflux from 15:00 to 17:00 and the mean of 2 individual soil CO_2 efflux from 15:00 to 19:00 at the As and Sg sites, respectively. During nocturnal hours, negative soil CO_2 fluxes(CO_2 downwards into the soil) were frequently observed at the As and Sg sites, the magnitude of the negative CO_2 fluxes were 0.10–1.55 μmol/(m^2·s) and 0.10–0.69 μmol/(m^2·s)at the two sites.
