1Concise and efficient direct-view generation of arbitrary cylindrical vector beams by a vortex half-wave plate显示文摘A concise, efficient, and practical direct-view scheme is presented to generate arbitrary cylindrical vector(CV)beams, including CV beams, vortex beams, and cylindrical vector vortex(CVV) beams, by a vortex half-wave plate(VHP). Six kinds of first-order and other high-order CV beams, such as azimuthally polarized(AP) beams, antivortex radial polarization mode beams, and three-order AP beams, are formed by simply rotating a half-wave plate. The Stokes parameters and double-slit interference of multitype CV beams are investigated in detail.The polarization parameters, including degree of polarization, polarization azimuth, and ellipticity, are obtained,which demonstrates the efficient generation of CV beams. In addition, the double-slit interference experiment is introduced in the setup, and fringe misplacement and tilt appear for CVV beams, in which the misplacement number M is 2P+1 for P ≤ 2 and 2P-1 for P ≥ 3, where P is the polarization order number, and the fringe tilt offset is positively related to the topological charge number l of CVV beams. In addition, new types of VHPs can be formed by cascading two or more VHPs when the types of available VHPs are limited, assisting in more flexible generation of multitype CV beams. 8Ultra-compact titanium dioxide micro-ring resonators with sub-10-μm radius for on-chip photonics显示文摘Microring resonators (MRRs) with ultracompact footprints are preferred for enhancing the light-matter interactions to benefit various applications. Here,ultracompact titanium dioxide (TiO2) MRRs with sub-10-μm radii are experimentally demonstrated. Thanks to the large refractive index of TiO_(2),the quality factors up to -7.9×10^(4) and -4.4×10^(4)are achieved for TiO_(2) MRRs with radii of 10μm and 6μm,respectively,which result in large nonlinear power enhancement factors (>113) and large Purcell factors (>56). The four-wave mixing(FWM) measurements indicate that,compared to the large MRR,the FWM conversion efficiency of the ultracompact TiO2 MRRs can be greatly improved (e.g.,-25 dB versus-31 dB),a harbinger of significant superiorities. 12Panicle-3D: A low-cost 3D-modeling method for rice panicles based on deep learning, shape from silhouette, and supervoxel clustering显示文摘Self-occlusions are common in rice canopy images and strongly influence the calculation accuracies of panicle traits. Such interference can be largely eliminated if panicles are phenotyped at the 3 D level.Research on 3 D panicle phenotyping has been limited. Given that existing 3 D modeling techniques do not focus on specified parts of a target object, an efficient method for panicle modeling of large numbers of rice plants is lacking. This paper presents an automatic and nondestructive method for 3 D panicle modeling. The proposed method integrates shoot rice reconstruction with shape from silhouette, 2 D panicle segmentation with a deep convolutional neural network, and 3 D panicle segmentation with ray tracing and supervoxel clustering. A multiview imaging system was built to acquire image sequences of rice canopies with an efficiency of approximately 4 min per rice plant. The execution time of panicle modeling per rice plant using 90 images was approximately 26 min. The outputs of the algorithm for a single rice plant are a shoot rice model, surface shoot rice model, panicle model, and surface panicle model, all represented by a list of spatial coordinates. The efficiency and performance were evaluated and compared with the classical structure-from-motion algorithm. The results demonstrated that the proposed method is well qualified to recover the 3 D shapes of rice panicles from multiview images and is readily adaptable to rice plants of diverse accessions and growth stages. The proposed algorithm is superior to the structure-from-motion method in terms of texture preservation and computational efficiency. The sample images and implementation of the algorithm are available online. 14Fuzheng Huayu preparation(扶正化瘀胶囊/片)combined with tenofovir disoproxil fumarate on hepatitis B:a systematic review and Meta-analysis显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To systematically evaluate the effectiveness of Fuzheng Huayu preparation(扶正化瘀胶囊/片,FZHY)plus tenofovir disoproxil fumarate(TDF)on hepatitis B.METHODS:Numerous databases—PubM ed,Embase,Cochrane Library,China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database,WanFang Database,China Science and Technology Journal Database,and China Biological Medicine Database—were searched to identify the randomized controlled trials published from the inception of the database to November 2021.Two researchers independently conducted literature screening,data extraction,and bias risk assessment.Rev Man 5.4 software was used for Meta-analysis.RESULTS:Eight studies involving 990 patients met the inclusion criteria in the current Meta-analysis.Levels of alanine transaminase,aspartate aminotransferase,total bilirubin,hyaluronic acid,typeⅢprocollagen,laminin,and type IV collagen after combination therapy were significantly lower than those after TDF therapy alone.However,albumin levels did not differ significantly between the two regimens.Subgroup analysis based on disease progression suggested that the combination therapy improved albumin levels in patients with chronic hepatitis B but not in patients with hepatitis B-related cirrhosis.Moreover,subgroup analysis based on treatment duration suggested that the albumin levels were increased and the typeⅢprocollagen levels were decreased with the>24-week combination therapy but not with the≤24-week combination therapy.CONCLUSIONS:A combination regimen of TDF and FZHY is more effective in treating hepatitis B than TDF alone.The combination therapy can effectively alleviate hepatic fibrosis and improve liver function.However,more standardized,highquality studies with larger sample sizes are warranted to validate the study results.ZHANG Junli HE Ying ZHANG Xia FU Hongfang HU Xiaoyu 2023Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2023,43,2:0

16Exposure to jet lag aggravates depression-like behaviors and age-related phenotypes in rats subject to chronic corticosterone显示文摘Our previous finding demonstrated that chronic corticosterone(CORT)may be involved in mediating the pathophysiology of premature aging in rats.Frequent jet lag increases the risk for many diseases,including obesity and type 2 diabetes,and is associated with the aging processes.However,the effect of jet lag on CORT-induced depression and its association with aging phenotypes remain unclear.In this study,the rats were exposed to both CORT and jet lag treatment,and the differences were analyzed and compared to rats with single CORT treatment.Our results showed that jet lag treatment aggravated CORT-induced depression-like behavior evidenced by sucrose intake test,forced swimming test,and open field test.Additionally,this treatment aggravated the shortening of telomeres,which possibly resulted in decreased telomerase activity,and downregulated the expression of telomere-binding factor 2(TRF2)and telomerase reverse transcriptase compared to that in CORT rats,as revealed by quantitative real-time-polymerase chain reaction and western blot analysis,respectively.The shortening of telomeres may have been caused by increased oxidative stress,which was associated with the inhibition of sirtuin 3.Exposure to jet lag also aggravated the degeneration of mitochondrial functions,as shown by the decreases in the mRNA expression of COX1,ND1,and Tfam.Our findings provide physiological evidence that jet lag exposure may worsen stress-induced depression and age-related abnormalities.Qichen Shen Junli Wu Yuehan Ni Xiaoxian Xie Chunan Yu Qingfeng Xiao Jiafeng Zhou Xia Wang Zhengwei Fu 2019Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2019,51,8:0
