| 2 | First experimental constraints on WIMP couplings in the effective field theory framework from CDEX显示文摘We present weakly interacting massive particles(WIMPs) search results performed using two approaches of effective field theory from the China Dark Matter Experiment(CDEX), based on the data from both CDEX-1B and CDEX-10 stages. In the nonrelativistic effective field theory approach, both time-integrated and annual modulation analyses were used to set new limits for the coupling of WIMP-nucleon effective operators at 90% confidence level(C.L.) and improve over the current bounds in the low mχregion. In the chiral effective field theory approach, data from CDEX-10 were used to set an upper limit on WIMP-pion coupling at 90% C.L. | 3 | Porphyromonas gingivalis bacteremia increases the permeability of the blood-brain barrier via the Mfsd2a/Caveolin-1 mediated transcytosis pathway显示文摘Bacteremia induced by periodontal infection is an important factor for periodontitis to threaten general health. P. gingivalis DNA/virulence factors have been found in the brain tissues from patients with Alzheimer’s disease(AD). The blood-brain barrier(BBB) is essential for keeping toxic substances from entering brain tissues. However, the effect of P. gingivalis bacteremia on BBB permeability and its underlying mechanism remains unclear. In the present study, rats were injected by tail vein with P. gingivalis three times a week for eight weeks to induce bacteremia. An in vitro BBB model infected with P. gingivalis was also established. We found that the infiltration of Evans blue dye and Albumin protein deposition in the rat brain tissues were increased in the rat brain tissues with P. gingivalis bacteremia and P. gingivalis could pass through the in vitro BBB model. Caveolae were detected after P. gingivalis infection in BMECs both in vivo and in vitro. Caveolin-1(Cav-1) expression was enhanced after P. gingivalis infection.Downregulation of Cav-1 rescued P. gingivalis-enhanced BMECs permeability. We further found P. gingivalis-gingipain could be colocalized with Cav-1 and the strong hydrogen bonding between Cav-1 and arg-specific-gingipain(RgpA) were detected.Moreover, P. gingivalis significantly inhibited the major facilitator superfamily domain containing 2a(Mfsd2a) expression. Mfsd2a overexpression reversed P. gingivalis-increased BMECs permeability and Cav-1 expression. | 4 | First results on ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay from CDEX-1 experiment显示文摘We report the first results on ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay from stage one of the China dark-matter experiment(CDEX).A p-type point-contact high-purity germanium detector with a mass of 994 g has been installed to detect neutrinoless double beta decay events, as well as to directly detect dark matter particles. An exposure of 304 kg d has been analyzed over a wide spectral band from 500 keV to 3 MeV. The average event rate obtained was about 0.012 counts per keV per kg per day over the 2.039 MeV energy range. The half-life of ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay derived based on this result is T^(0ν)1/2>6.4×10^(22) yr(90% C.L.). | 5 | Porothermoelastic response of an oil sand formation subjected to injection and micro-fracturing in horizontal wells显示文摘Stimulation of unconsolidated formations via horizontal wells has seen its vast implementation in the recent development of heavy oil reservoir to save the time and cost of preheating the reservoir before the steam-assisted gravity drainage(SAGD)process.A mathematical approach was proposed in this research that fully couples the hydraulic,mechanical and thermal responses of unconsolidated sandstone formations and also applies failure criteria for describing either shear dilation or tensile parting mechanism that generates microcracks.The approach was implemented to predict the porothermoelastic response of a pair of SAGD wells subject to injection and subsequent micro-fracturing using hot water.It was found that the predicted bottom hole pressures(BHPs)match closely with the field observed data.An elliptical dilation zone developed around the dual wells with relatively high pore pressure,porosity,permeability and temperature,implying good interwell hydraulic communication between both wells.The activation of microcracks dramatically accelerated the dissipation of pore pressure across the entire formation depth and also facilitated heat convection in between the dual wells,though to a lesser extent.In summary,the approach provides a convenient means to assist field engineers in the optimization of injection efficiency and evaluation of interference among multiple horizontal wells. | Botao Lin Han Meng Jingjun Pan Sen Chen | 2020 | Petroleum Science2020,17,3: | 2 |

| 7 | Aerodynamic Characteristic Research on Final Stage Stator of a Highly Loaded Fan显示文摘Due to corner separation and other complex three-dimensional flows existing in the highly loaded stator, which influences the fan performance significantly, highly loaded stator blades of a transonic fan with a maximum camber angle of 57° were studied in this paper and sector cascade experiment was adopted. In order to get the stator aerodynamic parameters as realistic as possible and conduct the experiment without the existence of rotor, an adjustable guide vane was designed to simulate the velocity magnitude and direction of the stator inlet flow. Results show that the adjustable guide vane can simulate the rotor outlet velocity direction and magnitude in most span range. The deviation angle is positive and the maximum value is nearly 21° because the severe separation is at 27% span. Corner separation exists on both pressure side and suction side and the location of separation initiation is determined. Finally, the stator blades were redesigned with some suction slots on the suction side. | 11 | Performances of a prototype point-contact germanium detector immersed in liquid nitrogen for light dark matter search显示文摘The CDEX-10 experiment searches for light weakly interacting massive particles, a form of dark matter, at the China Jinping Underground Laboratory, where approximately 10 kg of germanium detectors are arranged in an array and immersed in liquid nitrogen. Herein, we report on the experimental apparatus, detector characterization, and spectrum analysis of one prototype detector. Owing to the higher rise-time resolution of the CDEX-10 prototype detector as compared with CDEX-1 B, we identified the origin of an observed category of extremely fast events. For data analysis of the CDEX-10 prototype detector, we introduced and applied an improved bulk/surface event discrimination method. The results of the new method were compared to those of the CDEX-1 B spectrum. | 12 | Design and modeling of continuum robot based on virtual-center of motion mechanism显示文摘Continuum robot has attracted extensive attention since its emergence.It has multi-degree of freedom and high compliance,which give it significant advantages when traveling and operating in narrow spaces.The flexural virtual-center of motion(VCM)mechanism can be machined integrally,and this way eliminates the assembly between joints.Thus,it is well suited for use as a continuum robot joint.Therefore,a design method for continuum robots based on the VCM mechanism is proposed in this study.First,a novel VCM mechanism is formed using a double leaf-type isosceles-trapezoidal flexural pivot(D-LITFP),which is composed of a series of superimposed LITFPs,to enlarge its stroke.Then,the pseudo-rigid body(PRB)model of the leaf is extended to the VCM mechanism,and the stiffness and stroke of the D-LITFP are modeled.Second,the VCM mechanism is combined to form a flexural joint suitable for the continuum robot.Finally,experiments and simulations are used to validate the accuracy and validity of the PRB model by analyzing the performance(stiffness and stroke)of the VCM mechanism.Furthermore,the motion performance of the designed continuum robot is evaluated.Results show that the maximum stroke of the VCM mechanism is approximately 14.2°,the axial compressive strength is approximately 1915 N/mm,and the repeatable positioning accuracies of the continuum robot is approximately±1.47°(bending angle)and±2.46°(bending direction). | Guoxin LI Jingjun YU Yichao TANG Jie PAN Shengge CAO Xu PEI | 2023 | Frontiers of Mechanical Engineering2023,18,2: | 0 |
