1Antioxidant compounds produced by Pseudocercospora sp.ESL 02,an endophytic fungus isolated from Elaeocarpus sylvestris显示文摘Objective: To isolate endophytic fungi from Elaeocarpus sylvestris(E. sylvestris) and to isolate antioxidant compounds from a potential source fungus.Methods: Endophytic fungi were isolated from fresh leaves and stems of E. sylvestris and identified based on DNA analysis. 1,1-Diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl(DPPH) radical scavenging activity was used to evaluate the antioxidant activity of the fungi. The potential antioxidant fungus was further studied to isolate antioxidant compounds. The isolated compounds were identified by melting point analysis, optical rotation, spectral analysis using a UV spectrophotometer, high resolution fast atom bombardment mass spectrometry, X-ray crystallography analysis,~1H nuclear magnetic resonance analysis and ^(13)C nuclear magnetic resonance analysis. The isolated compounds were evaluated with DPPH radical scavenging, reducing power, and b-carotene bleaching assays.Results: Seven endophytic fungi were successfully isolated from E. sylvestris and identified as Pestalotiopsis sp. EST 01, Pestalotiopsis sp. EST 02, Diaporthales sp. EST03, Meyerozyma sp. EST 04, Diaporthales sp. EST 05, Pestalotiopsis sp. ESL 01, and Pseudocercospora sp. ESL 02. Of the seven fungi, Pseudocercospora sp. ESL 02 had the highest antioxidant activity [IC50=(30.54 ± 0.88) mg/mL]. From that fungus, two compounds identified as terreic acid(1) and 6-methylsalicylic acid(2) were isolated with an IC50 of DPPH radical scavenging activity of(0.22 ± 0.02) mmol/L and(3.87 ± 0.27)mmol/L, respectively. The compounds also had good activities from the reducing power and b-carotene bleaching assays.Conclusions: The Pseudocercospora sp. 12Proximate composition, nutritional values and phytochemical screening of Piper retrofractum vahl. fruits显示文摘Objective: To investigate the proximate and mineral composition of the Piper retrofractum(P. retrofractum) vahl. Fruit and to evaluate its total alkaloids, phenol and flavonoid. Methods: The proximate composition of P. retrofractum fruit was ananlyzed using standard protocols according to Indonesian Standard and Association of Official Analytical Chemist. Meanwhile, mineral composition of the fruit was analyzed using inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry. Phytochemical screening and quantification were performed using standard protocols according to Harborn and spectrophotometric methods. Results: The results showed that P. retrofractum fruit contained carbohydrate(63.4%), crude protein(11.4%), total ash(4.29%), dietary fiber(28.8%) and total fat(2.97%). The fruit also contained calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, phosphor, potassium, sodium and zinc in different concentrations. Additionally, quinone, sterol, glycosides and alkaloid were detected in both n-hexane and ethyl acetate extracts. Moreover, tannin was presented also in ethylacetate and methanol extracts. Meanwhile, methanol extract contained sterol, glycosides, flavones, tannin and alkaloid. The results also revealed that methanol extract of the fruit contained highest phenol compared to other extract. Finally, small quantity of flavonoid(0.060 0%±0.000 2%) was observed. 13Vertical deformation model on postseismic phase using exponential and logarithmic function based on InSAR显示文摘The Palu MW7.4 earthquake occurred on September 28, 2018, with the epicenter at 119.86°, 0.72°. The severe shaking caused severe damage in Central Sulawesi, especially in Palu. We conducted a postseismic deformation study to determine the deformation pattern and reduce future earthquakes’ impact.Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar(In SAR) data were processed using Li CSBAS to get the time series. The time series data were fitted to exponential and logarithmic functions to determine the mechanism of postseismic deformation. The exponential model identified the influence of the viscoelastic mechanism, and the logarithm identified the afterslip mechanism. 15The level of chemerin and adipocyte fatty acid binding protein in Toxoplasma gondii seropositive obese individuals显示文摘Objective: To know the difference between chemerin and adipocyte fatty acid-binding protein(AFABP) levels in obese individuals with positive Toxoplasma gondii(T. gondii)immunoglobulin G(IgG) compared with negative T. gondii IgG.Methods: This study is a cross-sectional study by using consecutive sampling methods conducted from January to April 2013. The subjects were 57 obese individuals who were divided into obese group of positive and negative T. gondii IgG. The level of chemerin,AFABP and T. gondii IgG was done by ELISA. 16Role of compositional changes on thermal,magnetic,and mechanical properties of Fe-P-C-based amorphous alloys显示文摘This work aimed to tune the comprehensive properties of Fe-P-C-based amorphous system through investigating the role of microalloying process on the crystallization behavior,glass forming ability(GFA),soft magnetic features,and mechanical properties.Considering minor addition of elements into the system,it was found that the simultaneous microalloying of Ni and Co leads to the highest GFA,which was due to the optimization of compositional heterogeneity and creation of near-eutectic composition.Moreover,the FeCoNiCuPC amorphous alloy exhibited the best anelastic/viscoplastic behavior under the nanoindentation test,which was owing to the intensified structural fluctuations in the system.However,the improved plasticity by the extra Cu addition comes at the expense of magnetic properties,so that the saturation magnetization of this alloying system is significantly decreased compared to the FeCoPC amorphous alloy with the highest soft magnetic properties.In total,the results indicated that a combination of added elemental constitutes,i.e.,Fe69Co5Ni5Cu1P13C7 composition,provides an optimized state for the comprehensive properties in the alloying system.Indah Raya Supat Chupradit Mustafa M Kadhim Mustafa Z Mahmoud Abduladheem Turki Jalil Aravindhan Surendar Sukaina Tuama Ghafel Yasser Fakri Mustafa Alexander N Bochvar 2022Chinese Physics B2022,31,1:0
17The relationship of family separation and nutrition status among under-five children: a cross-sectional study in Panti Public Health Center, Jember Regency of East Java, Indonesia显示文摘Background:Nowdays,both of parents are working to fulfill their family needs and family financial.However,this condition effected separation of family that have a negative impact for children.Children can lose of a primary caregiver who can endanger the welfare of children.Purpose:To analyzed the relationship between family separation and nutritional status of under-five children aged in Panti District of Jember Regency.Methods:A cross-sectional design was conducted among 53 families using total sampling.A family background questionnaire was used to measure sociodemographics and separation of family.Among 53 families were 78.2%of separation with father,while 38.6%of children with a good nutrition status.Kruskal Wallis and One-Way Anova was performed to answer the objective of this study.Results:The result showed that,there were no correlation between length of separation with nutritional status(F=0.377;P-value=0,688).Meanwhile,distance of separation wascorrelated with nutritional status(c2=8.310;P-value=0,016).Conclusion:Parents need to improve relationships,communication and the distribution of proper autonomy in family.It can make the nutritional status and health level of the child becomes better.Devi Nur Indah Sari Tantut Susanto Latifa Aini Susumaningrum 2022Nursing Communications2022,6,1:0

20Application of organic fertilizer for improving soybean production under acidic stress显示文摘The presence of acidic soil in rural areas poses difficulties for agricultural production.One factor regulating soil pH is the overuse of inorganic fertilizer.The increased use of fertilizers in soybean production not only raises sustainability concerns but also contributes to soil acidity.Therefore,the use of organic fertilizer could offer a solution for addressing both issues related to soil acidity and sustainability.The purpose of this study was to investigate the manipulation of soil pH using organic fertilizer for soybean production under acidic stress.The planting medium,consisting of a mixture of topsoil,rice husk charcoal,and organic fertilizer(in a ratio of 2:1:1),was supplemented with 0.5 g of NPK fertilizer as a basal treatment in each planting medium.To regulate the soil acidity to pH 4,we added FeSO_(4) and allowed the mixture to incubate for 30 days.The results demonstrate that the application of three types of organic fertilizers chicken manure(P1),oil palm empty bunch fertilizer(P2),and vermicompost(P3)positively impacts the growth of three soybean varieties.The findings indicate that the application of P2 organic fertilizer can increase vegetative growth almost 50%in soybeans on acidic soil,including plant height,leaf count,and root length.Meanwhile,applying P3 organic fertilizer can boost reproductive growth responses in soybeans on acidic soil,such as pod number(from around 0-4 unit to 42-51 unit),grain number(from around 0-5 unit to 88-90 unit),and grain weight(from around 0-0.37 g to 12-25 g).Organic fertilizer has the potential to regulate soil pH,promoting higher yields of soybeans under acidic stress.Putri Gita Lestari Ayu Oshin Yap Sinaga David Septian Sumanto Marpaung Winati Nurhayu Indah Oktaviani 2024Oil Crop Science2024,9,1:0
