12018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents显示文摘Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. Based on the globally recent development and the evidence-based data in China, 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was jointly prepared by the Pediatric Cardiology Society, Chinese Pediatric Society, Chinese Medical Association(CMA)/Committee on Pediatric Syncope, Pediatricians Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Committee on Pediatric Cardiology, Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Pediatric Cardiology Society, Beijing Pediatric Society, Beijing Medical Association(BMA). 2Promotional effect of Si-doped V_2O_5/TiO_2 for selective catalytic reduction of NOx by NH_3显示文摘TiO2 supports doped with different amounts of Si were prepared by a sol-gel method, and 1 wt% vanadia (V2O5) loaded on Si-doped TiO2 was obtained by an impregnation method. The mole ratio of Si/Ti was 0.2, NOx conversion exceeds 94% at 300℃ and GHSV of 41,324 hr-1 , which is about 20% higher than pure V2O5/TiO2 . The catalysts were characterized by XRD, BET, TEM, FT-IR, NH3-TPD, XPS, H2-TPR, Raman and in situ DRIFTS. The results of FT-IR and XPS indicated that Si was doped into the TiO2 lattice successfully and a solid solution was obtained. V2O5 active component could be dispersed well on the support with the increasing of surface area of the catalyst, which was confirmed by Raman and XRD results. 3Multicenter study of the clinicopathological features and recurrence risk prediction model of early-stage breast cancer with low-positive human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 expression in China (Chinese Society of Breast Surgery 021)显示文摘Background:Breast cancer with low-positive human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER2)expression has triggered further refinement of evaluation criteria for HER2 expression.We studied the clinicopathological features of early-stage breast cancer with low-positive HER2 expression in China and analyzed prognostic factors.Methods:Clinical and pathological data and prognostic information of patients with early-stage breast cancer with low-positive HER2 expression treated by the member units of the Chinese Society of Breast Surgery and Chinese Society of Surgery of Chinese Medical Association,from January 2015 to December 2016 were collected.The prognostic factors of these patients were analyzed.Results:Twenty-nine hospitals provided valid cases.From 2015 to 2016,a total of 25,096 cases of early-stage breast cancer were treated,7642(30.5%)of which had low-positive HER2 expression and were included in the study.After ineligible cases were excluded,6486 patients were included in the study.The median follow-up time was 57 months(4-76 months).The disease-free survival rate was 92.1%at 5 years,and the overall survival rate was 97.4%at 5 years.At the follow-up,506(7.8%)cases of metastasis and 167(2.6%)deaths were noted.Multivariate Cox regression analysis showed that tumor stage,lymphvascular invasion,and the Ki67 index were related to recurrence and metastasis(P<0.05).The recurrence risk prediction model was established using a machine learning model and showed that the area under the receiving operator characteristic curve was 0.815(95%confidence interval:0.750-0.880).Conclusions:Early-stage breast cancer patients with low-positive HER2 expression account for 30.5%of all patients.Tumor stage,lymphvascular invasion,and the Ki67 index are factors affecting prognosis.The recurrence prediction model for breast cancer with low-positive HER2 expression based on a machine learning model had a good clinical reference value for predicting the recurrence risk at 5 years.Trial registration:ChiCTR.org.cn,ChiCTR2100046766.Ling Xin Qian Wu Chongming Zhan Hongyan Qin Hongyu Xiang Ling Xu Jingming Ye Xuening Duan Yinhua Liu Chinese Society of Breast Surgery(CSBrS) Chinese Society of Surgery of Chinese Medical Association 2022Chinese Medical Journal2022,,6:9
4GmCRY1s modulate gibberellin metabolism to regulate soybean shade avoidance in response to reduced blue light显示文摘Soybean is an important legume crop that displays the classic shade avoidance syndrome(SAS),including exaggerated stem elongation,which leads to lodging and yield reduction under density farming conditions.Here,we compared the effects of two shade signals,low red light to far-red light ratio(R:FR)and low blue light(LBL),on soybean status and revealed that LBL predominantly induces excessive stem elongation.We used CRISPR-Cas9-engineered Gmcry mutants to investigate the functions of seven cryptochromes(GmCRYs)in soybean and found that the four GmCRY1s overlap in mediating LBL-induced SAS.Lightactivated GmCRY1s increase the abundance of the bZlP transcription factors STF1 and STF2,which directly upregulate the expression of genes encoding GA2 oxidases to deactivate GA1 and repress stem elongation.Notably,GmCRY1b overexpression lines displayed multiple agronomic advantages over the wild-type control under both dense planting and intercropping conditions.Our study demonstrates the integration of GmCRY1-mediated signals with the GA metabolic pathway in the regulation of LBL-induced SAS in soybean.It also provides a promising option for breeding lodging-resistant,high-yield soybean cultivars in the future.Xiangguang Lyu Qican Cheng Chao Qin Yinghui Li Xinying Xu Ronghuan Ji Ruolan Mu Hongyu Li Tao Zhao Jun Liu Yonggang Zhou Haiyan Li Guodong Yang Qingshan Chen Bin Liu 2021Molecular Plant2021,14,2:4

7Genome-wide signatures of the geographic expansion and breeding of soybean显示文摘Soybean is a leguminous crop that provides oil and protein. Exploring the genomic signatures of soybean evolution is crucial for breeding varieties with improved adaptability to environmental extremes. We analyzed the genome sequences of 2,214 soybeans and proposed a soybean evolutionary route, i.e., the expansion of annual wild soybean(Glycine soja Sieb. & Zucc.) from southern China and its domestication in central China, followed by the expansion and local breeding selection of its landraces(G. max(L.) Merr.). We observed that the genetic introgression in soybean landraces was mostly derived from sympatric rather than allopatric wild populations during the geographic expansion. Soybean expansion and breeding were accompanied by the positive selection of flowering time genes, including GmSPA3c. 10Structure,far-infrared spectroscopy,microwave dielectric properties,and improved low-temperature sintering characteristics of tri-rutile Mg_(0.5)Ti_(0.5)TaO_(4) ceramics显示文摘In this study,tri-rutile type Mg_(0.5)Ti_(0.5)TaO_(4) ceramics were synthesized,where the structure–property relationship,especially the structural configuration and intrinsic dielectric origin of Mg_(0.5)Ti_(0.5)TaO_(4) ceramics,and the low-firing characteristics were studied.It is found that the tri-rutile structural type is unambiguously identified through the Rietveld refinement analysis,the selected area electron diffraction(SAED),and the high-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM)along the[110]zone axis.With the increase in sintering temperature,the densification and uniformity of crystal growth play important roles in regulating the microwave dielectric properties of Mg_(0.5)Ti_(0.5)TaO_(4) ceramics.Intrinsically,theoretical dielectric properties calculated by the far-infrared reflective spectra approached the experimental values,indicating the importance of structural features to dielectric properties.Furthermore,a glass additive with high matching relevance with ceramics has been developed to decrease the high sintering temperature of Mg_(0.5)Ti_(0.5)TaO_(4) ceramics,where 2–4 wt%Li_(2)O–MgO–ZnO–B_(2)O_(3)–SiO_(2)(LMZBS)glass frit was adopted to reduce the suitable temperature from 1275 to 1050℃ without significantly deteriorating the microwave dielectric characteristics.Specifically,Mg_(0.5)Ti_(0.5)TaO_(4) ceramics containing 2 wt% glass addition sintered at 1050℃for 4 h possess excellent microwave dielectric properties:dielectric constant(ε_(r))=44.3,quality factor multiplied by resonant frequency(Q×f)=23,820 GHz(f=6.2 GHz),and the temperature coefficient of resonant frequency(τ_(f))=123.2 ppm/℃.Hongyu YANG Liang CHAI Guangchao LIANG Mengjiang XING Zixuan FANG Xing ZHANG Tianying QIN Enzhu LI 2023Journal of Advanced Ceramics2023,12,2:1

13Effects of additive boron on HPHT diamond single crystals grown by TGM显示文摘In this work, under pressure 5.4 GPa and temperature 1250-1400°C, large gem-diamond single crystals with perfect shape and different content of additive boron were synthesized using temperature gradient method. High-purity boron powders were added as boron source into the graphite powder, and the effects of additive boron on crystal growth habit were investigated in detail. The relationship between the growth rate and the amount of additive boron was studied. The scanning electron microscopy was employed to study the morphology of boron-doped diamond crystals. Raman spectroscopy and Hall measurements were used to investigate the crystal structures and the carrier concentration, respectively. The results show that with the increase of the content of boron added into graphite powder, the crystal growth rate and the carrier concentration increase firstly, and decrease afterwards, and the zone-center phonon line at 1332 cm 1 has small shift to lower energy. 14Enhanced protective immunity against SARS-CoV-2 elicited by a VSV vector expressing a chimeric spike protein显示文摘SARS-CoV-2 and SARS-CoV are genetically related coronavirus and share the same cellular receptor ACE2.By replacing the VSV glycoprotein with the spikes(S)of SARS-CoV-2 and SARS-CoV,we generated two replication-competent recombinant viruses,rVSVSARS-CoV-2 and rVSV-SARS-CoV.Using wild-type and human ACE2(hACE2)knock-in mouse models,we found a single dose of rVSV-SARS-CoV could elicit strong humoral immune response via both intranasal(i.n.)and intramuscular(i.m.)routes.Despite the high genetic similarity between SARS-CoV-2 and SARS-CoV,no obvious cross-neutralizing activity was observed in the immunized mice sera.In macaques,neutralizing antibody(NAb)titers induced by one i.n.dose of rVSV-SARS-CoV-2 were eight-fold higher than those by a single i.m.dose.Thus,our data indicates that rVSV-SARS-CoV-2 might be suitable for i.n.administration instead of the traditional i.m.immunization in human.Because rVSV-SARS-CoV elicited significantly stronger NAb responses than rVSV-SARS-CoV2 in a route-independent manner,we generated a chimeric antigen by replacing the receptor binding domain(RBD)of SARS-CoV S with that from the SARS-CoV-2.rVSV expressing the chimera(rVSV-SARS-CoV/2-RBD)induced significantly increased NAbs against SARS-CoV-2 in mice and macaques than rVSV-SARS-CoV-2,with a safe Th1-biased response.Serum immunized with rVSV-SARS-CoV/2-RBD showed no cross-reactivity with SARS-CoV.hACE2 mice receiving a single i.m.dose of either rVSV-SARS-CoV-2 or rVSV-SARSCoV/2-RBD were fully protected against SARS-CoV-2 challenge without obvious lesions in the lungs.Our results suggest that transplantation of SARS-CoV-2 RBD into the S protein of SARS-CoV might be a promising antigen design for COVID-19 vaccines.Hongyue Li Yuhang Zhang Dong Li Yong-Qiang Deng Hongde Xu Chaoyue Zhao Jiandong Liu Dan Wen Jianguo Zhao Yongchun Li Yong Wu Shujun Liu Jiankai Liu Junfeng Hao Fei Yuan Shuguang Duo Cheng-Feng Qin Aihua Zheng 2021Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,12:1

17Injectable cartilage matrix hydrogel loaded with cartilage endplate stem cells engineered to release exosomes for non-invasive treatment of intervertebral disc degeneration显示文摘Low back pain,mainly caused by intervertebral disc degeneration(IVDD),is a common health problem;however,current surgical treatments are less than satisfactory.Thus,it is essential to develop novel non-invasive surgical methods for IVDD treatment.Here,we describe a therapeutic strategy to inhibit IVDD by injecting hydrogels modified with the extracellular matrix of costal cartilage(ECM-Gels)that are loaded with cartilage endplate stem cells(CESCs).After loaded with CESCs overexpressing Sphk2(Lenti-Sphk2-CESCs)and injected near the cartilage endplate(CEP)of rats in vivo,ECM-Gels produced Sphk2-engineered exosomes(Lenti-Sphk2-Exos).These exosomes penetrated the annulus fibrosus(AF)and transported Sphk2 into the nucleus pulposus cells(NPCs).Sphk2 activated the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase(PI3K)/p-AKT pathway as well as the intracellular autophagy of NPCs,ultimately ameliorating IVDD.This study provides a novel and efficient non-invasive combinational strategy for IVDD treatment using injectable ECM-Gels loaded with CESCs that express Sphk2 with sustained release of functional exosomes.Liwen Luo Junfeng Gong Zhouguang Wang Yao Liu Jiaming Cao Jinghao Qin Rui Zuo Hongyu Zhang Shuai Wang Ping Zhao Di Yang Mengjie Zhang Yanqiu Wang Junfeng Zhang Yue Zhou Changqing Li Bing Ni Zhiqiang Tian MingHan Liu 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,9:1
