3Valley excitons in two-dimensional semiconductors显示文摘Monolayer group-VIB transition-metal dichalcogenides have recently emerged as a new class of semiconductors in the two-dimensional limit. he atractive properties include the visible range direct band gap ideal for exploring optoelectronic applications; the intriguing physics associated with spin and valley pseudospin of carriers which implies potentials for novel electronics based on these internal degrees of freedom; the exceptionally strong Coulomb interaction due to the two-dimensional geometry and the large efective masses. he physics of excitons, the bound states of electrons and holes, has been one of the most actively studied topics on these two-dimensional semiconductors, where the excitons exhibit remarkably new features due to the strong Coulomb binding, the valley degeneracy of the band edges and the valley-dependent optical selection rules for interband transitions. 4High lake levels on Alxa Plateau during the Late Quaternary显示文摘Field investigations including lake shoreline measurement and 14 C chronology have been carried out on the Alxa Plateau to better understand the formation and evolution of the high lake levels in northwest China during the late Pleistocene.Comprehensive field investigations show that there are at least ten shorelines at different elevations at Juyan Lake,at least four on the northwest side of the Jilantai Salt Lake,and nine shorelines and one terrace on the northeast margin of Zhuye Lake.Stratigraphic correlations and chronological evidence indicate that the paleo-lakes have the highest lake levels in Marine Isotope Stage (MIS) 3.Though the optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) results which have been reported by some scholars do not support this view,the fact that the paleo-lakes have the highest lake levels in MIS 3 can not be denied.Differences between OSL and 14 C results from this work might indicate that high lake levels existed on the Alxa Plateau during two different periods.It also suggests that the high lake levels may exist in both MIS 5 and early MIS 3.This paper also provides the basic hydrological information for further water resources research in this arid region.WANG NaiAng LI ZhuoLun CHENG HongYi LI Yu HUANG YinZhou 2011Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,17:12

6Single-trial decoding of imagined grip force parameters involving the right or left hand based on movement-related cortical potentials显示文摘Time–domain feature representation for imagined grip force movement-related cortical potentials(MRCP)of the right or left hand and the decoding of imagined grip force parameters based on electroencephalogram(EEG)activity recorded during a single trial were here investigated.EEG signals were acquired from eleven healthy subjects during four different imagined tasks performed with the right or left hand.Subjects were instructed to execute imagined grip movement at two different levels of force.Each task was executed 60 times in random order.The imagined grip force MRCP of the right or left hand was analyzed by superposition and averaging technology,a single-trial extraction method,analysis of variance(ANOVA),and multiple comparisons.Significantly different features were observed among different imagined grip force tasks.These differences were used to decode imagined grip force parameters using Fisher linear discrimination analysis based on kernel function(k-FLDA)and support vector machine(SVM).Under the proposed experimental paradigm,the study showed that MRCP may characterize the dynamic processing that takes place in the brain during the planning,execution,and precision of a given imagined grip force task.This means that features related to MRCP can be used to decode imagined grip force parameters based on EEG.ANOVA and multiple comparisons of time–domain features for MRCP showed that movement-monitoring potentials(MMP)and specific interval(0–150 ms)average potentials to be significantly different among 4 different imagined grip force tasks.The minimum peak negativity differed significantly between high and low amplitude grip force.Identification of the 4different imagined grip force tasks based on MMP was performed using k-FLDA and SVM,and the average misclassification rates of 27%±5%and 24%±4%across 11 subjects were achieved respectively.The minimum misclassification rate was 15%,and the average minimum misclassification rate across 11 subjects was24%±4.5%.This investigation indicates that imagined grip force MRCP may encode imagined grip force parameters.Single-trial decoding of imagined grip force parameters based on MRCP may be feasible.The study may provide some additional and fine control instructions for brain–computer interfaces.Yunfa Fu Baolei Xu Yongcheng Li Yuechao Wang Zhengtao Yu Hongyi Li 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,16:8

8Confinement and antenna effect for ultrasmall Y_(2)O_(3):Eu^(3+) nanocrystals supported by MOF with enhanced near-UV light absorption thereby enhanced luminescence and excellently multifunctional applications显示文摘A novel host-guest luminous system with enhanced near-UV light absorption thereby enhanced luminescence are designed based on the synergism of quantum confinement,spatial confinement,and antenna effect,where ultrasmall Y_(2)O_(3):Eu^(3+)nanocrystals are fixed inside MOF(Eu/Y-BTC)as supporting structure.The Eu/Y-BTC not only limits the size and leads to lattice distortion of Y_(2)O_(3):Eu^(3+)nanocrystals and controls the distance between nanocrystals,but also promotes the light absorption and emission.The significantly red-shifted and broadened charge transfer band of Y_(2)O_(3):Eu^(3+)/(Eu/Y-BTC)leads to the excellent applications of Y_(2)O_(3):Eu^(3+)in white light-emitting diodes(LEDs).Our results show that white light with superior color quality(CRI>90)and extremely high luminous efficacy(an LER of 335 lm/W)could be achieved using Y_(2)O_(3):Eu^(3+)/(Eu/Y-BTC)as red phosphor.The Y_(2)O_(3):Eu^(3+)/(Eu/Y-BTC)also improves the photoelectric performance of dye-sensitized solar cells(DSSCs),not only because Y_(2)O_(3):Eu^(3+)/(Eu/Y-BTC)has a large specific surface area and the adsorption amount of the dye is increased,but also because the valence band position of Y_(2)O_(3):Eu^(3+)/(Eu/Y-BTC)is 2.41 eV,which can provide an additional energy level between the TiO2 and dye,promoting electron transfer.For these advantageous features,the multifunctional Y_(2)O_(3):Eu^(3+)/(Eu/Y-BTC)composite product will open new avenues in white LEDs and DSSCs.Hongyi Xu Wenjing Yu Kai Pan Guofeng Wang Peifen Zhu 2021Nano Research2021,14,3:5
9Targeting folate receptorβpositive tumor-associated macrophages in lung cancer with a folate-modified liposomal complex显示文摘Tumor-associated macrophages(TAMs)facilitate cancer progression by promoting tumor invasion,angiogenesis,metastasis,inflammatory responses,and immunosuppression.Folate receptorβ(FRβ)is overexpressed in TAMs.However,the clinical significance of FRβ-positive macrophages in lung cancer remains poorly understood.In this study,we verified that FRβoverexpression in lung cancer TAMs was associated with poor prognosis.We utilized a folate-modified lipoplex comprising a folatemodified liposome(F-PLP)delivering a BIM-S plasmid to target both lung cancer cells and FRβ-positive macrophages in the tumor microenvironment.Transfection of LL/2 cells and MH-S cells with F-PLP/pBIM induced cell apoptosis.Injection of F-PLP/pBIM into LL/2 and A549 lung cancer models significantly depleted FRβ-positive macrophages and reduced tumor growth.Treatment of tumor-bearing mice with F-PLP/pBIM significantly inhibited tumor growth in vivo by inducing tumor cell and macrophage apoptosis,reducing tumor proliferation,and inhibiting tumor angiogenesis.In addition,a preliminary safety evaluation demonstrated a good safety profile of F-PLP/pBIM as a gene therapy administered intravenously.This work describes a novel application of lipoplexes in lung cancer targeted therapy that influences the tumor microenvironment by targeting TAMs.Yan Tie Heng Zheng Zhiyao He Jingyun Yang Bin Shao Li Liu Min Luo Xia Yuan Yu Liu Xiangxian Zhang Hongyi Li Min Wu Xiawei Wei 2020Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1:4
10Rabdosia serra alleviates dextran sulfate sodium salt-induced colitis in mice through anti-inflammation,regulating Th17/Treg balance,maintaining intestinal barrier integrity,and modulating gut microbiota显示文摘Rabdosia serra(R.serra),an important component of Chinese herbal tea,has traditionally been used to treat hepatitis,jaundice,cholecystitis,and colitis.However,the chemical composition of R.serra and its effect against colitis remain unclear.In this study,the chemical composition of the water extract of R.serra was analyzed using ultra performance liquid chromatography coupled with a hybrid linear ion trap quadrupole-orbitrap mass spectrometer(UPLC-LTQ-Orbitrap-MS).A total of 46 compounds,comprising ent-kaurane diterpenoids,flavonoids,phenolic acids,and steroids,were identified in the water extract of R.serra,and the extract could significantly alleviate dextran sulfate sodium salt-induced colitis by improving colon length,upregulating anti-inflammatory factors,downregulating proinflammatory factors,and restoring the balance of T helper 17/T regulatory cells.R.serra also preserved intestinal barrier function by increasing the level of tight junction proteins(zonula occludens 1 and occludin)in mouse colonic tissue.In addition,R.serra modulated the gut microbiota composition by increasing bacterial richness and diversity,increasing the abundance of beneficial bacteria(Muribaculaceae,Bacteroides,Lactobacillus,and Prevotellaceae_UCG-001),and decreasing the abundance of pathogenic bacteria(Turicibacter,Eubacterium_fissicatena_group,and Eubacterium_xylanophilum_group).Gut microbiota depletion by antibiotics further confirmed that R.serra alleviated colitis in a microbiota-dependent manner.Overall,our findings provide chemical and biological evidence for the potential application of R.serra in the management of colitis.Hongyi Li Yi Wang Shumin Shao Hui Yu Deqin Wang Chuyuan Li Qin Yuan Wen Liu Jiliang Cao Xiaojuan Wang Haibiao Guo Xu Wu Shengpeng Wang 2022Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2022,12,6:4

12DPD Algorithm for Moving Source Based on Doppler Frequency Shifts: Case of Known Waveforms显示文摘We focus on the Direct position determi-nation (DPD) of a moving narrowband source based on Doppler frequency shifts of signals with known waveforms. Two common motion models are considered: the Constant velocity (CV) model and the Constant acceleration (CA) model. The DPD cost function is obtained after some algebraic manipulations using the Maximum likelihood (ML) criterion. To develop a computationally efficient optimization algorithm, we present a preliminary mathematical result that plays a fundamental role in development of the proposed algorithm. Subsequently, a Newton iterative algorithm is tailored to the two motion models to determine the moving transmitter's trajectory. 13Characterization and validation of somatic mutation spectrum to reveal heterogeneity in gastric cancer by single cell sequencing显示文摘Gastric cancer(GC) is a highly heterogeneous disease with multiple cellular types and poor prognosis.However, the cellular evolution and molecular basis of GC at the individual intra-tumor level has not been well demonstrated. We performed single-cell whole exome sequencing to detect somatic singlenucleotide variants(SNVs) and significantly mutated genes(SMGs) among 34 tumor cells and 9 normal cells from a patient with GC. The Complete Prediction for Protein Conformation(CPPC) approach directly predicting the folding conformation of the protein 3D structure with Protein Folding Shape Code, combined with functional experiments were used to confirm the characterization of mutated SMGs in GC cells. We identified 201 somatic SNVs, including 117 non-synonymous mutations in GC cells. Further analysis identified 24 significant mutated genes(SMGs) in single cells, for which a single amino acid change might affect protein conformation. Among them, two genes(CDC27 and FLG) that were mutated only in single cells but not in the corresponding tumor tissue, were recurrently present in another GC tissue cohort, and may play a potential role to promote carcinogenesis, as confirmed by functional characterization. 14FeCo alloy catalysts promoting polysulfide conversion for advanced lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘Lithium sulfur batteries(LSBs)draw extensive interest because of the ultra-high capacity and low material cost.However,the sluggish lithium polysulfides(LIPSs)conversion processes are detrimental to cycle stability and rate capability,inhibiting the commercial application of LSBs.Here we present the well-designed Fe Co alloy catalysts anchored on porous carbon(FeCo-C)as sulfur host to improve the electrochemical performance by accelerating the conversion reactions.The FeCo alloy demonstrates high catalytic effect and strong adsorption capability of LIPSs,in which potential polarization can be greatly decreased and'shuttle effects'can be largely avoided.As a result,the obtained S/Fe Co-C composites show an initial specific capacity of 791.9 m Ah g^-1 at a large current density of 2 C and maintain 502.5 mAh g^-1 even after 500 cycles.Moreover,720 m Ah g^-1(corresponding to 70%retention)can be achieved after 100 cycles at 0.2 C with a high sulfur content of 80 wt%,enabling high sulfur utilization.This work not only provides a new insight to investigate the conversion kinetics of Li PSs,but also opens up a new avenue for advanced lithium sulfur batteries.Hongyi Li Linfeng Fei Rong Zhang Shenglan Yu Yongyi Zhang Longlong Shu Yong Li Yu Wang 2020Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,10:3
15Controlled synthesis of Zeolite adsorbent from lowgrade diatomite:A case study of self-assembled sodalite microspheres显示文摘Highly efficient and sustainable conversion technologies to generate uniform sodalite(Na8(AlSiO4)6(OH)2)zeolite micro spheres with low-grade waste natural diatomite as raw materials via a solution-mediated crystallization route were developed in the present study.The synthesis process can be considered as an in-situ zeolitization of diatomite precursor without involving any me so scale template and any post-synthetic modification.The mass ratios of diatomite and AlCl3·6 H2 O have remarkable effect on the morphology,crystal structure and porosity of sodalite zeolite product.The preferred sodalite microspheres with uniform mesoporous of size 3.5-5.5 nm and large surface area of 162.5 m2/g exhibit well removal performance for heavy metal ions(Pb(II),Cd(II),Zn(II),and Cu(II)),with the highest adsorption abilities for Pb(II)ions of 365 mg/g.In addition,the effect of contact time,initial ion concentration,competitive adsorption and solution pH were evaluated.The removal performance results from synergistic effects of dominating cation-exchange and additional surface chemisorption.The study may broadly help unveil chemical control reactions of the zeolitization processes of diatomite,and thus facilitates the development of promising zeolite materials for the use in natural and engineered aquatic environments by recvcling waste diatomite resources.Lingmin Sun Junshu Wu Jinshu Wang Gong Yu Jingchao Liu Yucheng Du Yongli Li Hongyi Li 2020Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,5:3

The new process is studied by using numerical analysis and experiment methods, and applied to form large-size high pressure valve bodies used by power plant boiler. 17Implementation of a reference-scaled average bioequivalence approach for highly variable generic drug products of agomelatine in Chinese subjects显示文摘The aim of this study was to apply the reference-scaled average bioequivalence(RSABE)approach to evaluate the bioequivalence of 2 formulations of agomelatine,and to investigate the pharmacokinetic properties of agomelatine in Chinese healthy male subjects.This was performed in a single-dose,randomized-sequence,open-label,four-way crossover study with a one-day washout period between doses.Healthy Chinese males were randomly assigned to receive 25 mg of either the test or reference formulation.The formulations were considered bioequivalent if 90% confidence intervals(CIs)for the log-transformed ratios and ratio of geometric means(GMR)of AUC and C_(max) of agomelatine were within the predetermined bioequivalence range based on RSABE method.Results showed that both of the90% CIs for the log-transformed ratios of AUC and C_(max) of 7-desmethyl-agomelatine and 3-hydroxyagomelatine were within the predetermined bioequivalence range.The 90% CIs for natural logtransformed ratios of C_(max) ,AUC_(0–t)and AUC_(0–∞) of agomelatine(104.42–139.86,101.33–123.83 and97.90–117.94)were within the RSABE acceptance limits,and 3-hydroxy-agomelatine(105.55–123.03,101.95–109.10 and 101.72–108.70)and 7-desmethyl-agomelatine(104.50–125.23,102.36–111.50 and101.62–110.64)were within the FDA bioequivalence definition intervals(0.80–1.25 for AUC and0.75–1.33 for C_(max)).The RSABE approach was successful in evaluating the bioequivalence of these two formulations.Fang Tang Rui Zhou Zeneng Cheng Guoping Yang Aiqiao Chen Zhi Liu Hongyi Tan Shuang Yang Sanwang Li Lingli Mu Peng Yu 2016Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2016,6,1:2
18Trace elements in tree rings and their environmental effects: A case study in Xi’an City显示文摘Using wet digested method and ICP mass spectrometer, we analyzed the concentration of five trace elements (Cd, Mn, P, Zn and Pb) for the tree rings from both urban and suburbs of Xi'an. At the urban sampling site, one Chinese mahogany (Toona sinensis) disc and one phoenix tree (Firmiana simplex) disc were sampled from a steelworks in Xi'an City. At the suburb site, a Chinese mahogany disc was collected from a village in the south of the City. In addition, some soils near the roots of the sampled trees were collected. The analysis results indicate that the concentration of each of the five elements in annual rings has a positive correlation with the production of the steelworks. Statistical calculations show that Pb and Mn elements were stable without lag effects. That means these two elements do not move between rings. Cd displayed one year moving, P two years and Zn three years.
