3Progress of Jinping Underground laboratory for Nuclear Astrophysics(JUNA)显示文摘Jinping Underground laboratory for Nuclear Astrophysics(JUNA) will take the advantage of the ultra-low background of CJPL lab and high current accelerator based on an ECR source and a highly sensitive detector to directly study for the first time a number of crucial reactions occurring at their relevant stellar energies during the evolution of hydrostatic stars. In its first phase, JUNA aims at the direct measurements of^(25)Mg(p,γ)^(26)Al,^(19)F(p,α)^(16)O,^(13)C(α,n)^(16)O and ^(12)C(α,γ)^(16)O reactions. The experimental setup,which includes an accelerator system with high stability and high intensity, a detector system, and a shielding material with low background, will be established during the above research. 4Human-in-the-Loop Consensus Control for Nonlinear Multi-Agent Systems With Actuator Faults显示文摘This paper considers the human-in-the-loop leader-following consensus control problem of multi-agent systems(MASs)with unknown matched nonlinear functions and actuator faults.It is assumed that a human operator controls the MASs via sending the command signal to a non-autonomous leader which generates the desired trajectory.Moreover,the leader’s input is nonzero and not available to all followers.By using neural networks and fault estimators to approximate unknown nonlinear dynamics and identify the actuator faults,respectively,the neighborhood observer-based neural fault-tolerant controller with dynamic coupling gains is designed.It is proved that the state of each follower can synchronize with the leader’s state under a directed graph and all signals in the closed-loop system are guaranteed to be cooperatively uniformly ultimately bounded.Finally,simulation results are presented for verifying the effectiveness of the proposed control method.Guohuai Lin Hongyi Li Hui Ma Deyin Yao Renquan Lu 2022IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2022,9,1:3

7Treatment of herniated lumbar disc by percutaneous laser disc decompression combined with synchronous suction technique through syringe显示文摘Objective: To compare the outcomes of percutaneous laser disc decompression (PLDD) and PLDD with synchronous suction through syringe in the patients with herniated lumbar disc(HLD). Methods: Forty-two patients with HLD on MRI and those who did not respond to conservative treatment for 6 weeks were randomly divided into group A and group B. In group A, the patients were treated with PLDD and those in group B with PLDD and synchronous suction through syringe. GaAIAS diode laser at 810 nm was used for the ablation in both groups. The treatment effect was evaluated by modified MacNab's criteria on the 7th, 30th and 90th day. Results: Evaluated by modified MacNab's criteria, the percentages of the excellent and good cases in total patients treated for group B and A were 80.95% and 57.14% on the 7th follow-up day, 85.71% and 66.67% on the 30th follow-up day, and 95.24% and 71.43% on the 90th follow-up day, respectively. Conclusion: Synchronous suction technique through syringe during PLDD improves the overall outcome in the treatment of herniated lumbar disc.Dhir B. 15An evaluation model for smart grids in support of smart cities based on the Hierarchy of Needs Theory显示文摘Smart cities depend highly on an intelligent electrical networks to provide a reliable,safe,and clean power supplies.A smart grid achieves such aforementioned power supply by ensuring resilient energy delivery,which presents opportunities to improve the cost-effectiveness of power supply and minimize environmental impacts.A systematic evaluation of the comprehensive benefits brought by smart grid to smart cities can provide necessary theoretical fundamentals for urban planning and construction towards a sustainable energy future.However,most of the present methods of assessing smart cities do not fully take into account the benefits expected from the smart grid.To comprehensively evaluate the development levels of smart cities while revealing the supporting roles of smart grids,this article proposes a model of smart city development needs from the perspective of residents’needs based on Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs theory,which serves the primary purpose of building a smart city.By classifying and reintegrating the needs,an evaluation index system of smart grids supporting smart cities was further constructed.A case analysis concluded that smart grids,as an essential foundation and objective requirement for smart cities,are important in promoting scientific urban management,intelligent infrastructure,refined public services,efficient energy utilization,and industrial development and modernization.Further optimization suggestions were given to the city analyzed in the case include strengthening urban management and infrastructure constructions,such as electric vehicle charging facilities and wireless coverage.Hongyu Lin Wei Wang Yajun Zou Hongyi Chen 2023Global Energy Interconnection2023,6,5:0

17Intrinsic magnetic topological materials显示文摘Topological states of matter possess bulk electronic structures categorized by topological invariants and edge/surface states due to the bulk-boundary correspondence. Topological materials hold great potential in the development of dissipationless spintronics, information storage and quantum computation, particularly if combined with magnetic order intrinsically or extrinsically. Here, we review the recent progress in the exploration of intrinsic magnetic topological materials, including but not limited to magnetic topological insulators, magnetic topological metals, and magnetic Weyl semimetals. We pay special attention to their characteristic band features such as the gap of topological surface state, gapped Dirac cone induced by magnetization (either bulk or surface), Weyl nodal point/line and Fermi arc, as well as the exotic transport responses resulting from such band features. 19The International Law Regime of Resolving Sovereign Disputes in the South China Sea:A Case Study of Joint Development Arrangement in the Tonkin Gulf显示文摘The paper examines the precedent value of the Tonkin Gulf case of maritime delimitation between China and Vietnam in facilitating the propagation of peaceful resolutions of sovereign disputes in the South China Sea through a perspective of United Nations Convention on the Law of Sea (UNCLOS). Despite China’s rhetoric adherence on its Joint Development Arrangement (JDA) proposals to shelve the maritime disputes, the establishment of an effective and institutionalized JDA regime backed up by a multitude of bilateral treaties and agreements over the Tonkin Gulf remain the sole successful example of shelving sovereign disputes through peaceful negotiations. Under such circumstance in which the prospects of most joint development proposals are stepping forward uncertainty for China’s growing assertiveness, it is requested that the Tonkin Gulf case can provide significant precedent value for other disputable areas in the South China Sea. The paper investigates the legitimation of JDA and highlights three key characteristics that the Tonkin Gulf pattern has enshrined, including the single delimitation principle and the notion of equidistance for boundary delimitation, the considerations from historical factors, the procedure of “due process”. Nevertheless, it finds that it remains unlikely that these three characteristics can be effectively fulfilled in other sovereign negotiations. 20Unraveling the influence of interface defects on antimony trisulfide solar cells显示文摘Antimony trisulfide(Sb_(2)S_(3)) solar cells suffer from large open circuit voltage deficits due to their intrinsic defects which limit the power conversion efficiency.Thus,it is important to elucidate these defects’ origin and defects at the interface.Here,we discover that sulfide radical defects have a significant impact on the performance of Sb_(2)S_(3)solar cells.Moreover,it has been illustrated that these defects at the CdS/Sb_(2)S_(3)interface can be reduced by optimizing the deposition process.A trap distribution model is used to quantify the defect density at the CdS/Sb_(2)S_(3)interface.It shows that the interface defects can be reduced by24% by improving the deposition process.This work reveals the importance of interface defects and guides the future optimization of Sb_(2)S_(3)solar cells.Hongyi Chen Cheng Wang Shaoying Wang Ruiming Li Yan Zeng Zhe Li Zhengwei Ou Qianqian Lin Jianmin Li Ti Wang Hongxing Xu 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,3:0
