1Photodynamic inhibitory effects of three perylenequinones on human colorectal carcinoma cell line and primate embryonic stem cell line显示文摘AIM: To investigate the photodynamic inhibitory effects of Elsinochrome A (EA), Hypocrellin A (HA) and Hypocrellin B (HB) on human colorectal carcinoma Hce-8693 cells and rhesus monkey embryonic stem R366.4 cells, via inducing apoptosis.METHODS: EA, HA and HB were extracted from metabolites of Hypomyces (Fr) Tul.Sp. R366.4 cells or Hce8693 cells were cultured with different concentrations of EA, HA or HB respectively, irradiated and incubated with fresh medium for 2 h. Cell cycle analysis was performed by flow cytometry (FCM). Data were expressed as means ±SD and analysis of variance and Student' t-test for individual comparisons.RESULTS: The photodynamic bioactivity of EA was first reported in this study. After irradiation for 5 min, 6 min, 10 min or 20 min, photoactivated EA at lower concentrations,which were 10-7 Mol/L, 10-6 Mol/L, 10-5 Mol/L respectively,had no cytotoxic effects on R366.4 ES ceils. Whereas, all of the three perylenequinones could induce apoptosis with a dose-dependent manner when Hce-8693 cells were incubated with photoactivated EA, HA and HB respectively. When Hce-8693 cells were incubated with EA at 10-6 Mol/L and irradiated 5 lin, 6 min, 10 min and 20 min respectively,the rates of EA-induced apoptosis were 0, 0, 13.4 % and 40.5 %. While the rates of HA-induced apoptosis were 29.5 %, 32.0 %, 40.2 % and 22.6 %. And the rates of HBinduced apoptosis were 0, 0, 0 and 13.7 % respectively.Meanwhile, after 10-5 Mol/L treatment, the rates of EA-induced apoptosis were 32.7 %, 19.3 %, 26.4 % and 52.7 %, the rates of HA-induced apoptosis were 47.2 %, 39.1%, 45.2% and 56.6 %, and the rates of HB-induced apoptosis were 0, 0, 20.0 % and 13.9 % respectively.CONCLUSION: EA, HA and HB have significant anti-cancer activity. The order of photodynamic inhibitory effects on tumor cells would be approximately HA>EA>HB. 2Promoting effect of microwave irradiation on CeO2-TiO2 catalyst for selective catalytic reduction of NO by NH3显示文摘In this work we prepared several CeO2-TiO2 catalysts for the NH3-SCR reactionusing co-precipitation with assistance of microwave irradiation.The catalytic NH3-SCR activities over CeO2-TiO2 catalysts at low temperatures are largely enhanced by the treatment of microwave irradiation,the operation temperature window is also broadened.For better understanding the promotion mechanism,the catalyst prepared by conventional co-precipitation with and without microwave irradiation treatment was characterized with H2-TPR,NH3-TPD,XPS,XRD and BET.Microwave irradiation treatment accelerates the crystallite rate of CeO2-TiO2 catalysts,and greatly enlarges their surface area by adjusting their microstructures.The resistance to SO2 and H2O is also improved via regulating the hierarchical pore structure by the microwave irradiation.Microwave irradiation treatment can also improve the redox property and increase the acid sites over the catalyst surfaces.The result of in situ DRIFTS suggests that the microwave irradiation treatment generates more Br?nsted acid sites on CeO2-TiO2-2 h catalyst,helpful in SCR reactions.XPS results show that after microwave irradiation on the CeO2-TiO2 catalysts,the surface demonstrates an elevated concentration of chemisorbed oxygen,consequently leading to better oxidation of NO to NO2.Additionally,the molar ratio of Ce3+/Ce4+has been elevated after being treated by microwave irradiation,a vital factor in enhancing the NH3-SCR activities.Jie Cheng Liyun Song Rui Wu Shining Li Yanming Sun Hongtai Zhu Wenge Qiu Hong He 2020Journal of Rare Earths2020,38,1:11

4The regulatory pathways of distinct flowering characteristics in Chinese jujube显示文摘Flowering is the most important event in higher plants.Compared to most fruit tree species,Chinese jujube(Ziziphus jujuba Mill.),the most important member of the large,diverse Rhamnaceae family and a leading dry fruit-producing species,has unique characteristics that include a short juvenile phase and extremely fast flower bud differentiation.However,the distinct mechanism of flowering regulation in Chinese jujube is still unclear.The morphological and cytological development period of jujube flowering was first investigated,and the crucial developmental stages were defined.Flower bud differentiation in Chinese jujube took only approximately 11–13 days,which is a distinct characteristic of perennial fruit trees.Afterward,44 genes related to six flowering pathways were identified in the jujube genome and were found to be randomly distributed among 11 of the 12 chromosomes.Tissue-specific and spatiotemporal expression patterns showed that all these genes were expressed in the flowers.Overall,photoperiodrelated genes were highly expressed during flower bud differentiation.These genes were also positively responsive to photoperiod regulation and phase change processes,indicating that photoperiod-related genes play crucial roles in jujube flower bud differentiation.Under protected cultivation,ZjPIF4,a temperature-related gene,was expressed in the early stages of flowering and responded to increasing temperatures.Moreover,STRING analysis and yeast two-hybrid screening indicated that photoperiod-related(ZjCO)and temperature-related(ZjPIF4)proteins could interact with ZjFT,the key protein involved in the determination of flowering time,indicating crosstalk between photoperiodrelated pathways and ambient temperature-related pathways in jujube.This study is the first report to comprehensively analyze the flowering pathways in Chinese jujube and revealed that photoperiod-related and ambient temperature-related pathways are the main mechanisms regulating the distinct flowering process and that members of the ZjPHY family(ZjPIF4,ZjFT,and ZjCO5)are the key factors involved in the regulatory network.These results will increase our understanding of the molecular and genetic mechanisms of flowering in Chinese jujube and provide meaningful clues for the flowering regulation of other fruit tree species.Xianwei Meng Ying Li Ye Yuan Yao Zhang Hongtai Li Jin Zhao Mengjun Liu 2020Horticulture Research2020,7,1:3
5Boosting polysulfide redox conversion of Li-S batteries by one-step-synthesized Co-Mo bimetallic nitride显示文摘Lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries are considered as one of the most promising next generation energy storage systems due to the high theoretical specific capacity,low cost,and environmental benignity.However,the notorious shuttle effect of polysulfides hinders the practical application of Li-S batteries.Herein,we have rationally designed and synthesized sea urchin-like Co-Mo bimetallic nitride(Co_(3) MO_(3) N)in the absence of additional nitrogen sources with only one step,which was applied as the sulfur host materials for Li-S batteries.The results indicate that Co_(3) Mo_(3) N can efficiently anchor and catalyze the conversion of polysulfides,thus accelerating the electrochemical reaction kinetics and enabling prominent electrochemical properties.As a consequence,the S@Co_(3) Mo_(3) N cathode exhibits a high rate performance of 705 mAh g^(-1) at 3 C rate and an excellent cycling stability with a low capacity fading rate of 0.08%per cycle at 1 C over 600 cycles.Even at a high sulfur loading of 5.4 cmg cm^(-2),it delivers a high initial areal capacity of 4.50 mAh cm^(-2) which is still retained at 3.64 mAh cm^(-2) after 120 cycles.Furthermore,the catalytic mechanism and structural stability of Co_(3) Mo_(3) N during cycling were elucidated by a combination of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and X-ray absorption fine structure.This work highlights the strategy of structure-catalysis engineering of bimetallic nitride,which is expected to have a wide application in Li-S batteries.Yingying Yan Hongtai Li Chen Cheng Tianran Yan Wenping Gao Jing Mao Kehua Dai Liang Zhang 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,10:3

7Fe-Nx Sites enriched microporous carbon nanoflower planted with tangled bamboo-like carbon nanotube as a strong polysulfides anchor for lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘Serious shuttle effect and sluggish conversion kinetics of lithium polysulfides(LiPSs)have a massive impact on obstructing the practical application of lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries.To address such issues,Fe-Nx sites enriched microporous nanoflowers planted with tangled bamboo-like carbon nanotubes(Fe-Nx-C/Fe_(3)C-CNTs NFs)are found to be effective catalytic mediators with strong anchoring capabilities for LiPSs.The bamboo-like carbon nanotubes catalyzed by Fe_(3)C/Fe entangled each other to form a conductive network,which encloses a flowerlike microporous carbon core with embedded well-dispersed Fe-Nx active sites.As expected,electrons smoothly transfer along the dense conductive bamboo-like carbon network while the flower-like carbon core consisting of micropores induces the homogeneous distribution of tiny sulfur and favors the lithium ions migration with all directions.Meanwhile,Fe-Nx sites strongly trap long-chain LiPSs with chemical anchoring,and catalyze the redox conversion of LiPSs.Due to the aforementioned synergistic effects,the S@Fe-Nx-C/Fe_(3)C-CNTs NFs cathode exhibited a remarkable specific capacity(635 mAh g_(s)^(-1))at 3 C and a favorable capacity decay with 0.04%per cycle even after 400 cycles at 1 C.Hongtai Li Yanxiao Chen Quan Jin Wei Xiang Benhe Zhong Xiaodong Guo Bao Wang 2021Green Energy & Environment2021,6,4:1
8Distributed Deep Reinforcement Learning-based Approach for Fast Preventive Control Considering Transient Stability Constraints显示文摘Preventive transient stability control is an effective measure for the power system to withstand high-probability severe contingencies.It is mathematically an optimal power flow problem with transient stability constraints.Due to the constraints involved for differential algebraic equations of transient stability,it is difficult and time-consuming to solve this problem.To address these issues,this paper presents a novel deep reinforcement learning(DRL)framework for preventive transient stability control of power systems.A distributed deep deterministic policy gradient is utilized to train a DRL agent that can learn its control policy through massive interactions with a grid simulator.Once properly trained,the DRL agent can instantaneously provide effective strategies to adjust the system to a safe operating position with a near-optimal operational cost.The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified through numerical experiments conducted on a New England 39-bus system and NPCC 140-bus system.Hongtai Zeng Yanzhen Zhou Qinglai Guo Zhongmin Cai Hongbin Sun 2023CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2023,9,1:1

10Designing principles of advanced sulfur cathodes toward practical lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘As one of the most promising candidates for next-generation energy storage systems,lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries have gained wide attention owing to their ultrahigh theoretical energy density and low cost.Nevertheless,their road to commercial application is still full of thorns due to the inherent sluggish redox kinetics and severe polysulfides shuttle.Incorporating sulfur cathodes with adsorbents/catalysts has been proposed to be an effective strategy to address the foregoing challenges,whereas the complexity of sulfur cathodes resulting from the intricate design parameters greatly influences the corresponding energy density,which has been frequently ignored.In this review,the recent progress in design strategies of advanced sulfur cathodes is summarized and the significance of compatible regulation among sulfur active materials,tailored hosts,and elaborate cathode configuration is clarified,aiming to bridge the gap between fundamental research and practical application of Li-S batteries.The representative strategies classified by sulfur encapsulation,host architecture,and cathode configuration are first highlighted to illustrate their synergetic contribution to the electrochemical performance improvement.Feasible integration principles are also proposed to guide the practical design of advanced sulfur cathodes.Finally,prospects and future directions are provided to realize high energy density and long-life Li-S batteries.Hongtai Li Yanguang Li Liang Zhang 2022SusMat2022,2,1:1

12Simulation and Experiment Based on FSMLC Method with EUPI Hysteresis Compensation for a Piezo-Driven Micro Position Stage显示文摘Micro/nano positioning technologies have been attractive for decades in industrial and scientific applications fields. The actuators have inherent hysteresis that can cause system unexpected behave in some extend. In this research, the authors used extented unparallel Prandtl-Ishlinshii(EUPI)models to represent the input-output relationship of a piezo-driven micro position stage. Integral inverse(I-I) compensator is used for compensating the hysteresis characteristics of the micro positioning stage and compared with direct inverse(D-I) compensator and inverse model(I-M) compensator. However,the accuracy and the robustness of the I-I compensator are worse when there is noisy in the system,a novel sliding-mode-like-control with EUPI(SMLC-EUPI) method was proposed and analyzed by different trajectory tracking experiments in Matlab environment. Though the above strategies can alleviate most deviation, the adjustment of the SMLC’s parameters is very complex. So the fuzzy method is used to adjust these parameters and be verified by trajectory tracking experiments. 13Effect of niobium content on irradiation microstructure and hardening in FeCrAl-based alloys显示文摘Iron-chromium-aluminum(FeCrAl)alloys with different content of niobium(Nb)—0,0.4 wt%,0.8 wt%,and 1.2 wt%—were designed and prepared.All samples were then irradiated with 2.4 MeV Fe^(2+)ion to the dose of 1 and 15 displacements per atom(dpa)at 400℃.The formations of dislocation loops induced by self-ion irradiation in these alloys were investigated by transmission electron microscopy(TEM).Nano-indentation tests were used to assess the hardness and irradiation hardening of samples.For the samples before irradiation,the(Fe,Cr)_(2)(Nb,Mo)Laves phases density and the nano-indentation hardness increased with increasing Nb content of the samples.After irradiation to 1 and 15 dpa,both of a/2<111>and a<100>dislocation loops were produced but no voids orα’phase were found in all samples.With increasing Nb content of the samples,the size of dislocation loops increased first and then decreased,while the total volume number density decreased and then increased.The fraction of a<100>dislocation loops increased first and then decreased with increasing Nb content,and increased with increasing irradiation dose.Dislocation networks and the amorphization of the Laves phases were observed in the samples with irradiation dose of 15 dpa.Irradiation hardening of Nb free samples was two to four times that of Nb containing samples,and the irradiation hardening increased with increasing Nb content of Nb containing samples.The experimental results indicate that the increase of Nb content in Fe Cr Al alloys can increase the density of Laves phases,leading to the decrease of Mo content and increase of Cr content in the matrix.The competition between the two types of solutes affects the nucleation and growth of the dislocation loops.Xiong Zhou Hui Wang Liping Guo Yiheng Chen Fang Li Yunxiang Long Cheng Chen Ziyang Xie Hongtai Luo Shaobo Mo 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,36:0
14Sedimentary and tectonic evolution of the Banquan pull-apart basin and implications for late Cenozoic dextral strike-slip movement of the Tanlu Fault Zone显示文摘The Banquan Basin is a pull-apart basin with the largest scale and the most prominent structure due to dextral slip of the Tanlu Fault Zone(TLFZ) in late Cenozoic. The depositional history of the basin records the start time and evolution of the right-lateral strike-slip movement of the TLFZ. This paper studies the sedimentary and tectonic evolution of the Banquan Basin by seismic reflection exploration, borehole detection and cosmogenic nuclide chronology. We analyze the coupling relationship between the pull-apart basin and the strike-slip fault and discuss the start time and tectonic significance of the right-lateral strikeslip of the TLFZ. Our study indicates that the Banquan Basin has undergone three evolutionary stages: weak rifting during the pre-pull-apart period, strong extension during the syn-pull-apart period and subsidence during the post-pull-apart period. This implies that the TLFZ, which controls the evolution of the basin, experienced an evolutionary process of weak activity,intensified activity and migration of activity toward the central basin. The sedimentary filling of the basin has strong response to the episodic pull-apart and extension of the basin. Lying upon the basement of the basin, a thin layer of Miocene mudstone slowly accumulated due to local rifting before the strong pull-apart event. Along with the dextral slipping and pull-apart process, the basin was filled with alluvial fan facies, fluvial facies and floodplain facies strata from bottom to top. The latest tectonic movement of the TLFZ in the North China Block in late Cenozoic was dominated by episodic dextral strike-slip motion, and this deformation pattern started at 4.01±1.27 Ma. The latest tectonic deformation in North China since late Cenozoic was governed by eastward extrusion and tectonic orogenesis of the eastern margin of the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau since late Miocene. The eastward thrusting of the Liupanshan fault zone and sinistral shearing of the Qinling fault zone led to the anticlockwise rotation and pushing of secondary blocks in North China, resulting in a planar bookshelf faulting and rotation pattern. 19Comorbidities of scars in China:a national study based on hospitalized cases显示文摘Background:Scar comorbidities seriously affect the physical and mental health of patients,but few studies have reported the exact epidemiological characteristics of scar comorbidities in China.This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of scar comorbidities in China.Methods:The data of 177,586 scar cases between 2013 and 2018 were obtained from the Hospital Quality Monitoring System based on the 10th edition of the International Classification of Diseases coding system.The total distribution of scar comorbidities and their relationship with age,aetiology and body regions were analysed.Results:Six comorbidities(contracture,malformation,ocular complications,adhesion,infection and others)were the main focus.In general,male patients outnumbered females and urban areas outnumbered rural areas.The proportion of contractures was the highest at 59,028(33.24%).Students,workers and farmers made up the majority of the occupation.Han Chinese accounted for the majority of the ethnic.The highest proportion of scar contracture occurred at 1–1.9 years of age(58.97%),after which a significant downward trend was observed.However,starting from 50 years of age,ocular complications increased gradually and significantly,eventually reaching a peak of 34.49%in those aged>80 years.Scar contracture was the most common comorbidity according to aetiology,and the highest proportion was observed in patients who were scalded(29.33%).Contractures were also the most frequent comorbidity in hands(10.30%),lower limbs(6.97%),feet(6.80%)and upper limbs(6.02%).The mean and median hospitalization durations were 12.85 and 8 days,respectively.Conclusions:Contractures were the most common comorbidities,and different comorbidities tended to occur at different ages and with different causative factors.Weishi Kong Yongqiang Xiao Baoli Wang Zhe Zhu Lunyang Hu Hongtai Tang Kangan Wang He Fang Ying Shi Jianyan Long Lanxia Gan Haibo Wang Yu Sun Zhaofan Xia 2021Burns & Trauma2021,9,1:0
20Variable stiffness wires based on magnetorheological liquid metals显示文摘Magnetorheological fluid(MRF)has shown its great potential in the development of large mechanical devices,such as dampers,shock absorbers,rotary brakes,clutches,and prosthetic joints.Recently,more research focus has been invested on using MRF to develop soft,stretchable,and miniaturized devices with variable stiffness for realizing functionalities that cannot be achieved using solid smart materials.Here,based on liquid metal magnetoactive slurries(LMMS),a variable stiffness wire with excellent electrical conductivity is demonstrated.Without exposure to a magnetic field,the LMMS wire has an extremely low stiffness,and can be easily stretched while maintaining an excellent electrical conductivity.When applying a magnetic field,the wire becomes much stiffer and can retain its shape even under a load.The combination of properties of flexibility,high electrical conductivity,and variable stiffness of the wire is harnessed to make a flexible gripper that can grasp objects of various shapes.Moreover,by using gallium instead of its liquid metal alloys,the tunable stiffness range of the LMMS wire is signifi-cantly enhanced and can be controlled using both external magnetic fields and temperature-induced phase change.The presented LMMS wire has the potential to be applied in flexible electronics,soft robotics and so on.Xiangbo Zhou Jian Shu Hu Jin Hongtai Ren Gang Ma Ning Gong Duan Ge Juan Shi Shi-Yang Tang Guolin Yun Hongda Lu Shuai Dong Xiangpeng Li Shiwu Zhang Weihua Li 2022International Journal of Smart and Nano Materials2022,13,2:0
