3Application of next-generation sequencing technology to precision medicine in cancer: joint consensus of the Tumor Biomarker Committee of the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology显示文摘Next-generation sequencing(NGS) technology is capable of sequencing millions or billions of DNA molecules simultaneously.Therefore, it represents a promising tool for the analysis of molecular targets for the initial diagnosis of disease, monitoring of disease progression, and identifying the mechanism of drug resistance. On behalf of the Tumor Biomarker Committee of the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology(CSCO) and the China Actionable Genome Consortium(CAGC), the present expert group hereby proposes advisory guidelines on clinical applications of NGS technology for the analysis of cancer driver genes for precision cancer therapy. This group comprises an assembly of laboratory cancer geneticists, clinical oncologists, bioinformaticians,pathologists, and other professionals. After multiple rounds of discussions and revisions, the expert group has reached a preliminary consensus on the need of NGS in clinical diagnosis, its regulation, and compliance standards in clinical sample collection. 4Different types of La Nia events and different responses of the tropical atmosphere显示文摘Historical La Nia events since 1950 are divided into Eastern Pacific(EP) type and Central Pacific(CP) type,and the SSTA developing features as well as the different responses of the tropical atmosphere are further analyzed by using multiple datasets.Classification of different types La Nia is based on the normalized Ni o3 and Ni o4 indices and the SSTA distribution pattern during the mature phase.The minimum negative SSTA for CP La Nia is located over the equatorial central Pacific near the dateline,more westward than that of EP La Nia.It has stronger intensity and larger east-west zonal difference of SSTA over the equatorial Pacific than EP La Nia.Influenced by the different SSTA distribution pattern,CP La Nia induces more westward location of the anomalous sinking motion and the anomalous low-level divergent and high-level convergent winds over the equatorial eastern Pacific.The different response of the tropical atmospheric circulation between EP and CP La Nia is more significant in the upper troposphere than in the lower troposphere.However,the tropical precipitation patterns during the mature phase of EP and CP La Nia are much similar,except the less(more) precipitation over the equatorial central Pacific(eastern Indian Ocean-western Pacific) during CP La Nia than during EP La Nia.YUAN Yuan YAN HongMing 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,3:13
5Effects of Dietary β-Glucan and Glycyrrhizin on Non-Specific Immunity and Disease Resistance of the Sea Cucumber (Apostichopus japonicus Selenka) Challenged with Vibrio splendidus显示文摘Sea cucumbers, Apostichopus japonicus Selenka, were fed diets containing non-immunostimulant (basal diet), 0.2% β-glucan and 0.02% glycyrrhizin in a recirculatory water system for 45 days, and subsequently challenged with Vibrio splendidus by injection at 1.0×108 cfu/sea cucumber for 15 days.Phagocytic capacity (PC), intracellular superoxide anion production (ISAP), ly-sozyme (LSZ) activity and superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity in the coelomic fluid were analyzed on the 0th, 5th, 10th and 15th days after injection.Results showed that after the 45-day feeding period, PC, ISAP, LSZ activity and SOD activity in sea cucumbers fed with dietary β-glucan or glycyrrhizin were significantly higher than in those fed with the basal diet.On the 5th day after infection, all the immune parameters examined in the sea cucumbers injected with V.splendidus decreased in value significantly.On the 15th day, PC, ISAP and LSZ activity returned to levels similar to those on the 0th day.For the sea cucumbers injected with saline, there were no significant differences in all the immune parameters examined and in the cumulative morbidity during the 15-day challenging trial.After injecting with V.splendidus, the cumulative morbidity of sea cucumbers fed with the basal diet was significantly higher than those fed with dietary β-glucan or glycyrrhizin when challenged with V.splendidus challenged sea cucumber fed with the basal diet was significantly higher than those fed with dietary β-glucan or glycyrrhizin.There was no significant difference in cumulative morbidity between the dietary β-glucan and glycyrrhizin treatments over time.CHANG Jie ZHANG Wenbing MAI Kangsen MA Hongming XU Wei 2010Journal of Ocean University of China2010,9,4:12
6In-situ fabrication of particulate reinforced aluminum matrix composites under high-frequency pulsed electromagnetic field显示文摘Pulsed magnetic field is generated when imposing pulse signal on high-frequency magnetic field. Distribution of the inner magnetic intensity in induction coils tends to be uniform. Furthermore oscillation and disturbance phenomena appear in the melt. In-situ Al2O3 and Al3Zr particulate reinforced aluminum matrix composites have been synthesized by direct melt reaction using Al-Zr(CO3)2 components under a foreign field. The size of reinforced particulates is 2-3 μm. They are well distributed in the matrix. 7Integrated transcriptomic and metabolomic analyses of a wax deficient citrus mutant exhibiting jasmonic acid-mediated defense against fungal pathogens显示文摘Naturally,resistant crop germplasms are important resources for managing the issues of agricultural product safety and environment deterioration.We found a spontaneous mutant of‘Newhall’navel orange(Citrus sinensis Osbeck)(MT)with broad-spectrum protections against fungal pathogens in the orchard,postharvest-storage,and artificial inoculation conditions.To understand the defense mechanism of MT fruit,we constructed a genome-scale metabolic network that integrated metabolome and transcriptome datasets.The coordinated transcriptomic and metabolic data were enriched in two sub-networks,showing the decrease in very long chain fatty acid(by 41.53%)and cuticular wax synthesis(by 81.34%),and increase in the synthesis of jasmonic acid(JA)(by 95.23%)and JA-induced metabolites such as 5-dimethylnobietin(by 28.37%)in MT.Furthermore,cytological and biochemical analyses confirmed that the response to fungal infection in MT was independent of wax deficiency and was correlated with the levels of jasmonates,and the expression of plant defensin gene PDF1.2.Results of exogenous application of MeJA and JA inhibitors such as propyl gallate proved that JA-mediated defense contributes to the strong tolerance against pathogens in MT.Our results indicated that jasmonate biosynthesis and signaling are stimulated by the fatty acid redirection of MT,and participate in the tolerance of pathogenic fungi.Yizhong He Jingwen Han Runsheng Liu Yuduan Ding Jinqiu Wang Li Sun Xiaoming Yang Yunliu Zeng Weiwei Wen Juan Xu Hongming Zhang Xiang Yan Zhaoxing Chen Zuliang Gu Hong Chen Huanqing Tang Xiuxin Deng Yunjiang Cheng 2018Horticulture Research2018,5,1:8
8High-Resolution Genome-wide Association Study Identifies Genomic Regions and Candidate Genes for Important Agronomic Traits in Wheat显示文摘Wheat(Triticum aestivum)is a major staple food crop worldwide.Genetic dissection of important agronomic traits is essential for continuous improvement of wheat yield to meet the demand of the world's growing population.We conducted a large-scale genome-wide association study(GWAS)using a panel of 768 wheat cultivars that were genotyped with 327609 single-nucleotide polymorphisms generated by genotyping-by-sequencing and detected 395 quantitative trait loci(QTLs)for 12 traits under 7 environments.Among them,273 QTLs were delimited to≤1.0-Mb intervals and 7 of them are either known genes(Rht-D,Vrn-B1,and Vrn-D1)that have been cloned or known QTLs(TaGA2ox8,APO1,TaSus1-7B,and Rht12)that were previously mapped.Eight putative candidate genes were identified for three QTLs that enhance spike seed setting and grain size using gene expression data and were validated in three bi-parental populations.Protein sequence analysis identified 33 putative wheat orthologs that have high identity with rice genes in QTLs affecting similar traits.Large r^2 values for additive effects observed among the QTLs for most traits indicated that the phenotypes of these identified QTLs were highly predictable.Results from this study demonstrated that significantly increasing GWAS population size and marker density greatly improves detection and identification of candidate genes underlying a QTL,solidifying the foundation for large-scale QTL fine mapping,candidate gene validation,and developing functional markers for genomics-based breeding in wheat.Yunlong Pang Chunxia Liu Danfeng Wang Paul St.Amand Amy Bernardo Wenhui Li Fang He Linzhi Li Liming Wang Xiufang Yuan Lei Dong Yu Su Huirui Zhang Meng Zhao Yunlong Liangi Hongze Jia Xitong Shen Yue Lu Hongming Jiang Yuye Wu Anfei Li Honggang Wang Lingrang Kong Guihua Bai Shubing Liu 2020Molecular Plant2020,13,9:8
9Recent Progress in Automotive Gasoline Direct Injection Engine Technology显示文摘Gasoline direct injection(GDI)engines are currently the dominant powertrains for passenger cars.With the implementation of increasingly stringent fuel consumption and emission regulationsworldwide,GDI engines are facing challenges owing to high particulate matter emissions and a tendency to knock,leading to a change in the research and design(R&D)issues compared with those in the twentieth century.This paper reviews the progress in research regarding GDI engine technologies over the past 20 years,focusing on combustion system configurations,and also highlights common issues in GDI R&D,including pre-ignition and deto-knock,soot formation and PM emissions,injector deposits and gasoline compression ignition(GCI).First,an overview of recent developments in the field as driven by regulations is provided,following which progress in injection and combustion systems is examined.Third,the review addresses the occurrence and mechanism of deto-knock and considers means of suppressing this phenomenon.The fourth section discusses soot formation mechanisms and particulate matter emission characteristics of GDI engines and describes the application of gasoline particulate filter(GPF)after-treatment.The subsequent section summarizes studies regarding injector deposit formation,as well as pioneering research into GCI combustion modes.Finally,a summary and future prospects for GDI engine technologies are provided.Shijin Shuai Xiao Ma Yanfei Li Yunliang Qi Hongming Xu 2018Automotive Innovation2018,1,2:8
10Mass-independent fractionation of even mercury isotopes显示文摘Practically all physical, chemical, and biological processes can induce mass-dependent fractionation of mercury(Hg) isotopes. A few special processes such as photochemical reduction of Hg(II) and photochemical degradation of methylmercury(Me Hg) can produce massindependent fractionation(MIF) of odd Hg isotopes(oddMIF), which had been largely reported in variable natural samples and laboratory experiments, and was thought to be caused by either nuclear volume effect or magnetic isotope effect. Recently, intriguing MIF of even Hg isotopes(evenMIF) had been determined in natural samples mainly related to the atmosphere. Though photo-oxidation in the tropopause(inter-layer between the stratosphere and the troposphere) and neutron capture in space were thought to be the possible processes causing even-MIF, the exact mechanism triggering significant even Hg isotope anomaly is still unclear. 12Synthesis and electrochemical performance of YF_3-coated LiMn_2O_4 cathode materials for Li-ion batteries显示文摘Spinel LiMn2O4 cathodes were coated with 1 mol% YF3.X-ray diffraction(XRD) analyses showed that Y and/or F did not enter the lattice of the LiMn2O4 crystal.Transmission electron microscopy(TEM) showed that a compact YF3 layer of 5-20 nm in thickness was coated onto the surface of LiMn2O4 particles.Scanning electron microscopy(SEM) observation showed that the YF3 coating caused the agglomeration of LiMn2O4 particles.The cycling test demonstrated that the YF3 coating can improve the electrochemical performance of LiMn2O4 at both 20 and 55°C.Moreover,YF3-coated LiMn2O4 exhibited an improved rate capability compared with the uncoated one at high rates over 5C.The immersion test in electrolytes showed that YF3-coated LiMn2O4 is more erosion resistant than the uncoated one.CAO Jina CAO Gaoshao YU Hongming XIE Jian ZHAO Xinbing 2011Rare Metals2011,30,1:7

15V_2O_5-WO_3-MoO_3/TiO_2催化剂在柴油机NH_3-SCR系统中的性能显示文摘针对柴油机运行工况特点及柴油机尾气成分特点,以工业纯锐钛型二氧化钛、偏钒酸铵、偏钨酸铵、钼酸铵为主要原料制备了颗粒状V2O5-WO3-MoO3/TiO2催化剂,以Lister Petter TR1重型直喷式单缸柴油机为依托搭建试验台,研究了在真实柴油机尾气环境下催化剂的脱硝性能。结果表明,柴油机负载增大,催化剂脱硝活性呈现下降趋势。1800r·min-1时,脱硝活性最大值87.1%在负载25%、反应温度380℃、空速20000h-1、氨氮比1.0处取得。柴油机负载不同,导致催化剂活性温度窗口(脱硝活性>70%)发生较大变化,与负载25%相比,负载50%活性温度窗口减小约60℃。增大柴油机负载可以提高NH3/N2O反应起始温度,但是同时会导致高温区间(>400℃)N2O生成量增大。高岩 栾涛 彭吉伟 XU Hongming 2013化工学报2013,64,9:7
16Progress and prospect for NASICON-type Na3V2(PO4)3 forelectrochemical energy storage显示文摘Sodium-ion batteries(SIBs) have attracted increasing attention in the past decades, because of high overall abundance of precursors, their even geographical distribution, and low cost. Na_3V_2(PO_4)_3(NVP), a typical sodium super ion conductor(NASICON)-based electrode material, exhibits pronounced structural stability, exceptionally high ion conductivity, rendering it a most promising electrode for sodium storage.However, the comparatively low electronic conductivity makes the theoretical capacity of NVP cannot be fully accessible even at comparatively low rates, presenting a major drawback for further practical applications, especially when high rate capability is especially important. Thus, many endeavors have been conformed to increase the surface and intrinsic electrical conductivity of NVP by coating the active materials with a conductive carbon layer, downsizing the NVP particles, combining the NVP particle with various carbon materials and ion doping strategy. In this review, to get a better understanding on the sodium storage in NVP, we firstly present 4 distinct crystal structures in the temperature range of -30°C^225°C namely α-NVP, β-NVP, β-NVP and γ-NVP. Moreover, we give an overview of recent approaches to enhance the surface electrical conductivity and intrinsic electrical conductivity of NVP. 18Mutation analyses of integrated HBV genome in hepatitis B patients显示文摘Little has been learnt in the last 30 years about detection of HBV genome as well as its mutation analysis between hepatitis B fathers (HBF) and their children. In this study, we used nest polymerase chain reaction (PCR), fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH), and DNA sequencing analysis, to examine the integrated HBV genome in paraffin-embedded testis tissues, which were taken as samples from HBF, and in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) from 74 cases of HBFs and their children who were born after their fathers’ HBV infection (caHBF). We found that HBV DNA existed in testis tissues, mainly in the basilar parts of the seminiferous tubules, and also in PBMC of HBF. It was also documented that there were point mutations of poly-loci, insertions and deletions of nucleotides in integrated HBV genomes, and the types of gene mutations in the HBFs were similar to those in caHBF.
