| 2 | 3D N,O-Codoped Egg-Box-Like Carbons with Tuned Channels for High Areal Capacitance Supercapacitors显示文摘Functional carbonaceous materials for supercapacitors(SCs)without using acid for post-treatment remain a substantial challenge.In this paper,we present a less harmful strategy for preparing three-dimensional(3D)N,O-codoped egg-box-like carbons(EBCs).The as-prepared EBCs with opened pores provide plentiful channels for ion fast transport,ensure the e ective contact of EBCs electrodes and electrolytes,and enhance the electron conduction.The nitrogen and oxygen atoms doped in EBCs improve the surface wettability of EBC electrodes and provide the pseudocapacitance.Consequently,the EBCs display a prominent areal capacitance of 39.8μF cm-2(340 F g-1)at 0.106 m A cm-2 in 6 M KOH electrolyte.The EBC-based symmetric SC manifests a high areal capacitance to 27.6μF cm-2(236 F g-1)at 0.1075 m A cm-2,a good rate capability of 18.8μF cm-2(160 F g-1)at 215 m A cm-2 and a long-term cycle stability with only 1.9%decay after 50,000 cycles in aqueous electrolyte.Impressively,even in all-solid-state SC,EBC electrode shows a high areal capacitance of 25.0μF cm-2(214 F g-1)and energy density of 0.0233 m Wh cm-2.This work provides an acid-free process to prepare electrode materials from industrial by-products for advanced energy storage devices. | Feng Wei Xiaojun He Lianbo Ma Hanfang Zhang Nan Xiao Jieshan Qiu | 2020 | Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,7: | 13 |
| 3 | Capecitabine maintenance therapy for XT chemotherapy-sensitive patients with metastatic triple-negative breast cancer显示文摘Objective: To investigate the efficacy and safety of capecitabine maintenance therapy(MT) after initial capecitabine plus docetaxel(XT) chemotherapy in patients with metastatic triple-negative breast cancer(m TNBC).Methods: Fifty-five m TNBC patients treated with XT chemotherapy between May 2007 and June 2013 were retrospectively analyzed. When initial disease control was achieved by the combination chemotherapy, capecitabine was continued for 32 patients(MT), while 23 patients remained without any treatment(nonMT). We compared progression-free survival(PFS) and safety of both groups.Results: The median PFS of 55 patients was 8.1 months, overall median PFS time of 32 patients in the capecitabine MT group and 23 in the non-MT group was 10.1 vs. 6.7 months(P=0.032), respectively. When compared PFS time of maintenance treatment, single-agent capecitabine prolonged PFS by 7.1 months, for non-MT patients, the PFS without any treatment was 3.1 months, and this between-group difference was statistically significant(P=0.003). | 4 | Efficacy of platinum in advanced triple-negative breast cancer with germline BRCA mutation determined by next generation sequencing显示文摘Objective:To compare the efficacy of platinum-and non-platinum-based regimens as first-line treatment for advanced triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC)and analyze the relationship between their efficacy and BRCA gene status.Methods:Retrospectively analyze clinical data of 220 patients diagnosed pathologically with advanced TNBC and treated at the Department of Breast Oncology,Peking University Cancer Hospital from 2013 to 2018 and evaluate the efficacy of chemotherapy.A total of 114 patients had BRCA1/2 gene tested by next generation sequencing(NGS)using peripheral blood,and we analyzed the correlation between their efficacy and BRCA1/2 gene status.Results:Non-platinum-based chemotherapy(NPCT)was administered to 129 and platinum-based chemotherapy(PBCT)to 91 study patients.The clinical benefit rate(CBR)and median progression-free survival(PFS)were not statistically different between NPCT and PBCT groups.The median overall survival(OS)was 30.0 and 22.5 months for PBCT and NPCT group,respectively[P=0.090,hazard ratios(HR)=0.703].BRCA status was assessed in 114 patients,14 of whom had deleterious germline BRCA1/2(g BRCA)mutations(seven in each group).In PBCT group,the CBR was 85.7%and 35.1%for patients with and without deleterious g BRCA mutations,respectively(P=0.039).The median PFS were 14.9 and 5.3 months and median OS were 26.5 and 15.5 months for patients with and without deleterious g BRCA mutations,respectively(P=0.001,P=0.161,respectively).Patients in PBCT group had significantly greater rates of grade 3-4 anemia(5.5%vs.0%)and thrombocytopenia(8.8%vs.0%),whereas palmar-plantar erythrodysesthesia(12.4%vs.0%)and peripheral neuropathy(8.6%vs.1.1%)occurred more frequently in NPCT group.Conclusions:Platinum-based regimens are more effective in patients with deleterious g BRCA mutations,but no difference in patients without BRCA gene mutations,so non-platinum is an option in patients without BRCA gene mutations considering the toxicity and side effect.And we recommend that patients with advanced TNBC should have BRCA gene test. | Nan Wang Kun Li Wenfa Huang Weiyao Kong Xiaoran Liu Weijie Shi Feng Xie Hanfang Jiang Guohong Song Lijun Di Quanren Wang Jianjun Yu Huiping Li | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2020,32,2: | 7 |
| 5 | Combined peripheral natural killer cell and circulating tumor cell enumeration enhance prognostic efficiency in patients with metastatic triple-negative breast cancer显示文摘Objective:Triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC)is a heterogeneous disease with poor prognosis.Circulating tumor cells(CTCs)are a promising predictor for breast cancer prognoses but their reliability regarding progression-free survival(PFS)is controversial.We aim to verify their predictive value in TNBC.Methods:In present prospective cohort study,we used the Pep@MNPs method to enumerate CTCs in baseline blood samples from 75 patients with TNBC(taken at inclusion in this study)and analyzed correlations between CTC numbers and outcomes and other clinical parameters.Results:Median PFS was 6.0(range:1.0–25.0)months for the entire cohort,in whom we found no correlations between baseline CTC status and initial tumor stage(P=0.167),tumor grade(P=0.783)or histological type(P=0.084).However,among those getting first-line treatment,baseline CTC status was positively correlated with ratio of peripheral natural killer(NK)cells(P=0.032),presence of lung metastasis(P=0.034)and number of visceral metastatic site(P=0.037).Baseline CTC status was predictive for PFS in first-line TNBC(P=0.033),but not for the cohort as a whole(P=0.118).This prognostic limitation of CTC could be ameliorated by combining CTC and NK cell enumeration(P=0.049).Conclusions:Baseline CTC status was predictive of lung metastasis,peripheral NK cell ratio and PFS in TNBC patients undergoing first-line treatment.We have developed a combined CTC-NK enumeration strategy that allows us to predict PFS in TNBC without any preconditions. | Xiaoran Liu Ran Ran Bin Shao Hope S.Rugo Yanlian Yang Zhiyuan Hu Zewen Wei Fengling Wan Weiyao Kong Guohong Song Hanfang Jiang Xu Liang Ruyan Zhang Ying Yan Guobing Xu Huiping Li | 2018 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2018,30,3: | 4 |
| 6 | Impact Assessment and Protection of Outstanding Landscape Integrity in a Natural Heritage Site:Fairy Valley,Kanas Nature Reserve,Xinjiang,China显示文摘The essential purpose of the Convention Concerning the Protection of World Cultural and Natural Heritage is to protect the integrity of heritage values.Outstanding landscape is the core embodiment of the aesthetic value of a natural heritage site.This paper proposes a new assessment method from the point of view of the protection of heritage values.It is used to measure the degree of outstanding landscape integrity under the human and natural impact in natural heritage sites.This paper employ three indices,a visual index of outstanding landscape,a harmony index of the artificial landscape and a disturbance index of damaged landscape,to measure the impact of landscape integrity.The impact assessment model is based on a weighted combination of the three indices.The study site is the Fairy Valley,Kanas Nature Reserve,Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in northwest China.The information employed is derived from field investigation and a Digital Elevation Model(DEM).A comprehensive evaluation of the Fairy valley was undertaken and it was determined that the outstanding landscape values are being compromised.Three protection methods are proposed to reduce the adverse effects and maintain landscape quality,thereby providing site managers with suggestions for the protection of natural heritage values.More broadly,the paper contributes novel methods of landscape assessment applicable to natural protected areas. | HANFang YANG Zhaoping LIU Xinyu DI Feng | 2011 | Journal of Mountain Science2011,8,1: | 4 |
| 7 | Multicenter phaseⅡstudy of apatinib single or combination therapy in HER2-negative breast cancer involving chest wall metastasis显示文摘Objective:Breast cancer(BC)with chest wall metastasis(CWM)usually shows rich neovascularization.This trial explored the clinical effect of apatinib on human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER2)-negative advanced BC involving CWM.Methods:This trial involved four centers in China and was conducted from September 2016 to March 2020.Patients received apatinib 500 mg/d[either alone or with endocrine therapy if hormone receptor-positive(HR+)]until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity.Progression-free survival(PFS)was the primary endpoint.Results:We evaluated 26 patients for efficacy.The median PFS(mPFS)and median overall survival(mOS)were4.9[range:2.0-28.5;95%confidence interval(95%CI):2.1-8.3]months and 18(range:3-55;95%CI:12.9-23.1)months,respectively.The objective response rate(ORR)was 42.3%(11/26),and the disease-control rate was76.9%(20/26).In the subgroup analysis,HR+patients compared with HR-negative patients had significantly improved mPFS of 7.0(95%CI:2.2-11.8)months vs.2.3(95%CI:1.2-3.4)months,respectively(P=0.001);and mPFS in patients without or with chest wall radiotherapy was 6.4(95%CI:1.6-19.5)months vs.3.0(95%CI:1.3-4.6)months,respectively(P=0.041).In the multivariate analysis,HR+status was the only independent predictive factor for favorable PFS(P=0.014).Conclusions:Apatinib was highly effective for BC patients with CWM,especially when combined with endocrine therapy.PFS improved significantly in patients with HR+status who did not receive chest wall radiotherapy.However,adverse events were serious and should be carefully monitored from the beginning of apatinib treatment. | Huiping Li Cuizhi Geng Hongmei Zhao Hanfang Jiang Guohong Song Jiayang Zhang Yaxin Liu Xinyu Gui Jing Wang Kun Li Zhongsheng Tong Fangyuan Zhao Junlan Yang Guoliang Chen Qianyu Liu Xu Liang | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2021,33,2: | 4 |

| 9 | Protective effects of proanthocyanidins on beta-amyloid peptide (25-35)-induced PC12 cell apoptosis by blocking S-phase and increasing p53 gene expression显示文摘BACKGROUND: Current studies related to the effects of proanthocyanidins on Alzheimer’s disease have focused primarily on the signal transduction pathway of cellular apoptosis.However,the influence of p53 gene expression on cell cycle regulation,with regard to the protective mechanisms of proanthocyanidins,has not been reported.OBJECTIVE: To observe the effect of proanthocyanidins on cell cycle distribution,cellular apoptosis,and p53 gene expression in β-amyloid peptide (25-35) (Aβ25-35)-induced PC12 cells cultured in serum-free media,and to investigate the molecular neuroprotective mechanisms of proanthocyanidins with regard to cell cycle regulation.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING: A parallel,controlled,cellular,and molecular study was performed at the Institute of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology,Guangdong Medical College from July 2006 to July 2008.MATERIALS: Proanthocyanidins were provided by Nanjing Xuezi Medical and Chemical Research Center,China;Aβ25-35 was provided by Sigma,USA;PC12 cells were provided by the Institute of Basic Medical Science,Academy of Military Medical Sciences;and rabbit anti-p53 polyclonal antibody was provided by Santa Cruz Biotechnology,USA.METHODS: PC12 cells were cultured in serum-free media for 24 hours.Cells from the model group were treated with 25 μmol/L Aβ25-35 for 24 hours.Cells in the drug protection group were pre-treated with 30 mg/L proanthocyanidins for 1 hour and then treated with 25 μmol/L Aβ25-35 for 24 hours.The control group was not treated.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Flow cytometry was used to detect cell cycle distribution and rate of apoptosis;reverse-transcriptase polymerase chain reaction was used to detect p53 mRNA expression;and Western blot was used to detect p53 protein expression.RESULTS: After treating with 25 μmol/L Aβ25-35 for 24 hours,the rate of apoptosis and the percentage of cells in S phase were significantly increased (P < 0.01),and p53 mRNA and protein expressions were decreased.Pretreatment with proanthocyanidins for 1 hour blocked the increase in apoptosis and the percentage of cells in S phase in Aβ25-35-induced PC12 cells (P < 0.01) and increased p53 mRNA and protein expressions.CONCLUSION: Proanthocyanidins blocked apoptosis and S-phase arrest in Aβ25-35-induced PC12 cells cultured in serum-free media.The protective mechanism could be related to increased p53 mRNA and protein expressions. | Hanfang Mei Zhaoyang Xie Qifeng Zhu | 2010 | Neural Regeneration Research2010,5,2: | 2 |

HGF(Hepatocyte Growth Factor) is a very important growth factor that works as a mitogen or a morphogen during tissue growth, development and regeneration. However, to date, the functions of genetic variants within the bovine HGF gene, particularly their effects on m RNA expression, have not been determined well.Results: The present study aimed to perform association analysis between genetic variants and m RNA expression for the bovine HGF gene in Qinchuan cattle using various strategies, including PCR-RFLP(Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism), q PCR(Quantitative Real-time quantitative PCR), TA cloning, DNA sequencing and bioinformatics analysis. A total of five SNPs were identified and only SV1 locus significantly affected HGF m RNA expression in fetal skeletal muscle(P < 0.05). Heterozygous genotype individuals showed significantly higher HGF expression(P < 0.05), which was significantly greater in the 'CTCCAGGGTT' combined genotype than that in the'CCCCGGGGTT' combined genotype(P < 0.05). In addition, two alternative splicing variations, HGF-W and HGF-M,were identified, which resulted from alternative 3′ splice sites of exon 5, and HGF-W showed higher m RNA levels than HGF-M in all tissues.Conclusion: In summary, genetic variations within the HGF gene affected m RNA expression.
