3Piecewise linear mapping algorithm for SAR raw data compression显示文摘When the saturation degree (SD) of space-borne SAR raw data is high, the per-formance of conventional block adaptive quantization (BAQ) deteriorates obviously. In order to overcome the drawback, this paper studies the mapping between the average signal magnitude (ASM) and the standard deviation of the input signal (SDIS) to the A/D from the original reference. Then, it points out the mistake of the mapping and introduces the concept of the standard deviation of the output signal (SDOS) from the A/D. After that, this paper educes the mapping between the ASM and SDOS from the A/D. Monte-Carlo experiment shows that none of the above two mappings is the optimal in the whole set of SD. Thus, this paper proposes the concept of piecewise linear mapping and the searching algorithm in the whole set of SD. According to the linear part, this paper gives the certification and analytical value of k and for nonlinear part, and utilizes the searching algorithm mentioned above to search the corresponding value of k. 4Parameter optimization for microwave coupled with hot air drying process of hawthorn slices using response-surface methodology显示文摘The microwave coupled with hot air(MCHA)drying method was used in this test to dry hawthorn slices The effect of initial microwave power density level(6 W/g to 12 W/g),hot air temperature(55℃ to 70℃),and hot air velocity(1 m/s to 3 m/s)on the quality attributes of rehydration ratio(Rf),organic acid(OA)and ascorbic acid(AA)of the dehydrated hawthorn slices was analyzed using a response surface methodology.An orthogonal rotatable central composite with three factors and at five levels was used to develop predictive regression models for the responses.The prediction mathematical model of Rf,OA and AA of the hawthorn slice was determined by analysis of variance.Factor and response variables as well as the prediction mathematical model,the optimal drying process of Rf,OA and AA of the hawthorn slice were determined by using the Design-Expert software.The comprehensive optimal conditions were as follows:initial microwave power density 12 W/g,hot air temperature 55℃ and hot air velocity 1.56 m/s.Yu Haiming Zuo Chuncheng Xie Qiuju 2015International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2015,8,2:9
5Anti-saturation block adaptive quantization algorithm for SAR raw data compression over the whole set of saturation degrees显示文摘In order to improve the performance of block adaptive quantization (BAQ) when the output of the analog to digital converter (ADC) is saturated, this paper proposes an anti-saturation BAQ algorithm. First, the concept of the standard deviation of the output signal (SDOS) of the ADC is proposed. Also, unlike traditional normalization processing, SDOS is used and the mapping between SDOS and the average signal magnitude is deduced. Second, the saturation term is introduced to the Lloyd–Max quantizer and an optimal non-uniform scalar quantizer for saturated SAR raw data quantization is proposed. After this, the implementation scheme for the proposed algorithm using an FPGA is analyzed in detail. Third, the relationships among the saturation degree of the signal, the peak-topeak value of the ADC, standard deviation of the input and output signal of the ADC and the average signal magnitude are deduced. Based on these relationships, a power compensation decoder is designed for encoding. 6ADAPTIVE NULL PHASE-SHIFT POLARIZATION FILTER显示文摘The estimation of clutter polarization is significant in virtual polarization filtering. This paper proposes variable step size Least Mean Square error (LMS) algorithm to estimate clutter po-larization. The adaptive recursive function is set up based on double polarization receiving signal model. By choosing desired response signal properly,the received data are estimated. The result of estimation is used for Null Phase-Shift instantaneous Polarization Filter (NPSPF) design and target’s amplitude and phase compensation. Algorithm’s tracking performance is discussed in detail. 7The boreal spring stratospheric final warming and its interannual and interdecadal variability显示文摘Based on the daily NCEP/DOE reanalysis II data,dates of the boreal spring Stratospheric Final Warming(SFW) events during 1979–2010 are defined as the time when the zonal-mean zonal wind at the central latitudes(65°–75°N) of the westerly polar jet drops below zero and never recovers until the subsequent autumn.It is found that the SFW events occur successively from the mid to the lower stratosphere and averagely from the mid to late April with a temporal lag of about 13 days from 10 to 50 hPa.Over the past 32 years,the earliest SFW occurs in mid March whereas the latest SFW happens in late May,showing a clear interannual variability of the time of SFW.Accompanying the SFW onset,the stratospheric circulation transits from a winter dynamical regime to a summertime state,and the maximum negative tendency of zonal wind and the strongest convergence of planetary-wave are observed.Composite results show that the early/late SFW events in boreal spring correspond to a quicker/slower transition of the stratospheric circulation,with the zonal-mean zonal wind reducing about 20/5 m s-1 at 30 hPa within 10 days around the onset date.Meanwhile,the planetary wave activities are relatively strong/weak associating with an out-of-/in-phase circumpolar circulation anomaly before and after the SFW events in the stratosphere.All these results indicate that,the earlier breakdown of the stratospheric polar vortex(SPV),as for the winter stratospheric sudden warming(SSW) events is driven mainly by wave forcing;and in contrast,the later breakdown of the SPV exhibits more characteristics of its seasonal evolution.Nevertheless,after the breakdown of SPV,the polar temperature anomalies always exhibit an out-of-phase relationship between the stratosphere and the troposphere for both the early and late SFW events,which implies an intimate stratosphere–troposphere dynamical coupling in spring.In addition,there exists a remarkable interdecadal change of the onset time of SFW in the mid 1990s.On average,the SFW onset time before the mid 1990s is 11 days earlier than that afterwards,corresponding to the increased/decreased planetary wave activities in late winter-early spring before/after the 1990s.HU JingGao REN RongCai YU YueYue XU HaiMing 2014Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,4:4
8Skill Learning for Human-Robot Interaction Using Wearable Device显示文摘With the accelerated aging of the global population and escalating labor costs, more service robots are needed to help people perform complex tasks. As such, human-robot interaction is a particularly important research topic. To effectively transfer human behavior skills to a robot, in this study, we conveyed skill-learning functions via our proposed wearable device. The robotic teleoperation system utilizes interactive demonstration via the wearable device by directly controlling the speed of the motors. We present a rotation-invariant dynamicalmovement-primitive method for learning interaction skills. We also conducted robotic teleoperation demonstrations and designed imitation learning experiments. 9Parameter studies and evaluation principles of delamination damage in laminated composites显示文摘Delamination represents one of the most severe failure modes in composite laminates,especially when they are subjected to uniaxial compression loads.The evaluation of the delamination damage has always been an essential issue of composite laminates for durability and damage tolerance in engineering practice.Focusing on the most typical and representative elliptical delamination issue,an analytical model simultaneously considering the conservative buckling process and non-conservative delamination propagation process is implemented.Various computational cases considering different delamination depths,directions,aspect ratios,and areas are established,and the predicted results based on the analytical model are carefully compared.Effects of these geometrical delamination parameters on the buckling,delamination propagation,and failure behaviors of composite laminates are thoroughly analyzed,and innovative evaluation principles of the delamination damage have been concluded.It is found that the delamination area is the key factor that truly affecting the failure behaviors of delaminated composites,and the local/global buckling and failure loads show clear linearity with the delamination area,whilst the delamination depth and direction only have slight effects.Kangkang WANG Libin ZHAO Haiming HONG Jianyu ZHANG Yu GONG 2021Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,7:3

11An Efficient Priority-Driven Congestion Control Algorithm for Data Center Networks显示文摘With the emerging diverse applications in data centers,the demands on quality of service in data centers also become diverse,such as high throughput of elephant flows and low latency of deadline-sensitive flows.However,traditional TCPs are ill-suited to such situations and always result in the inefficiency(e.g.missing the flow deadline,inevitable throughput collapse)of data transfers.This further degrades the user-perceived quality of service(QoS)in data centers.To reduce the flow completion time of mice and deadline-sensitive flows along with promoting the throughput of elephant flows,an efficient and deadline-aware priority-driven congestion control(PCC)protocol,which grants mice and deadline-sensitive flows the highest priority,is proposed in this paper.Specifically,PCC computes the priority of different flows according to the size of transmitted data,the remaining data volume,and the flows’deadline.Then PCC adjusts the congestion window according to the flow priority and the degree of network congestion.Furthermore,switches in data centers control the input/output of packets based on the flow priority and the queue length.Different from existing TCPs,to speed up the data transfers of mice and deadline-sensitive flows,PCC provides an effective method to compute and encode the flow priority explicitly.According to the flow priority,switches can manage packets efficiently and ensure the data transfers of high priority flows through a weighted priority scheduling with minor modification.The experimental results prove that PCC can improve the data transfer performance of mice and deadline-sensitive flows while guaranting the throughput of elephant flows.Jiahua Zhu Xianliang Jiang Yan Yu Guang Jin Haiming Chen Xiaohui Li Long Qu 2020China Communications2020,17,6:2

17Enhancement of MoTe2 near-infrared absorption with gold hollow nanorods for photodetection显示文摘Infrared(IR)light photodetection based on two dimensional(2D)materials of proper bandgap has attracted increasing attention.However,the weak IR absorption in 2D materials,due to their ultrathin attribute and indirect bandgap in multilayer structures,degrades their performance when used as IR photodetectors.In this work,we utilize the fact that few-layer MoTe2 flake has a near-IR(NIR)bandgap and demonstrate a^60-fold enhancement of NIR response by introducing a gold hollow nanorods on the surface.Such gold hollow nanorods have distinct absorption peak located also at the NIR regime,therefore induces strong resonance,benefitting NIR absorption in MoTe2,resulting in strong near-field enhancement.With the evidence from steady and transient state optical spectra,we confirm that the enhancement of NIR response originates only photon absorption,rather than electron transport at interfaces as observed in other heterostructures,therefore,precluding the requirement of high-quality interfaces for commercial applications.Jiawen You Ye Yu Kai Cai Dongming Zhou Haiming Zhu Renyan Wang Qingfu Zhang Hongwei Liu Yuting Cai Dong Lu Jang-Kyo Kim Lin Gan Tianyou Zhai Zhengtang Luo 2020Nano Research2020,13,6:1

19Landscape and Dynamics of the Transcriptional Regulatory Network During Natural Killer Cell Differentiation显示文摘Natural killer(NK)cells are essential in controlling cancer and infection.However,little is known about the dynamics of the transcriptional regulatory machinery during NK cell differentiation.In this study,we applied the assay of transposase accessible chromatin with sequencing(ATAC-seq)technique in a home-developed in vitro NK cell differentiation system.Analysis of ATAC-seq data illustrated two distinct transcription factor(TF)clusters that dynamically regulate NK cell differentiation.Moreover,two TFs from the second cluster,FOS-like 2(FOSL2)and early growth response 2(EGR2),were identified as novel essential TFs that control NK cell maturation and function.Knocking down either of these two TFs significantly impacted NK cell differentiation.Finally,we constructed a genome-wide transcriptional regulatory network that provides a better understanding of the regulatory dynamics during NK cell differentiation.Kun Li Yang Wu Young Li Qiaoni Yu Zhigang Tian Haiming Wei Kun Qu 2020Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2020,18,5:1
