Palaeogeothermal response and record of the effusing of Emeishan basalts in the Sichuan basin显示文摘Thermal history of the Sichuan basin is reconstructed based on vitrinite reflectance from boreholes in the basin using a paleo-heat flow method. The results show that the Sichuan basin experienced a relatively low heat flow period in the Early Paleozoic, and an elevated paleo-heat flow, ranging 60-80 mW/m2 with a maximum as high as 100 mW/m2 around 259 Ma,from the beginning of the Late Paleozoic to the end of the early Permian, and a decreased paleo-heat flow from the late Permian to the late Triassic, and then maintained nearly stable to the present. The Late Paleozoic paleo-heat flow was quite high where there were extensive Emeishan flood basalts or concealed basalts which erupted between the early and the late Permian, such as the southwestern and northeastern areas of the Sichuan basin.According to the distribution of paleo-heat flow,it can be inferred that, the northeastern Sichuan basin was also influenced by the Emeishan magmatic activity during the Dongwu movement though there was lack of Emeishan flood basalts. In addition, the results of thermal history reconstruction of the Sichuan basin provide paleogeothermal evidence for the existence and onset of the Emaishan mantle plume. | ZHU ChuanQing XU Ming YUAN YuSon ZHAO YongQing SHAN JingNan HE ZhiGuo TIAN YunTao HU ShengBiao | 2010 | Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,10: | 30
Testing method and distribution characteristics of spatial pesticide spraying deposition quality balance for unmanned aerial vehicle显示文摘In order to explore the spatial pesticide spraying deposition distribution, the downwash flow field characteristics for unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)pesticide application with accurate flight height and velocity and the relationship of these two aspects,a novel measurement method was proposed in this paper.A model‘3WQF80-10’single-rotor diesel UAV was tested using this method in wheat field and the effects of flight direction, flight parameters and crosswind on the distribution of spatial spraying deposition quality balance(SSDQB)and the downwash flow field distribution were researched.A cuboid aluminum sampling frame of spatial spraying deposition quality balance(SFSSDQB)with monofilament wires was made for collecting the droplets in four directions, and a set of multi-channel micro-meteorology measurement system(MMMS)was applied for measuring the downwash wind speed in three directions.Besides,BeiDou Navigation Satellite System(BNSS)was used for controlling and recording the working height, velocity and track of this model of single-rotor UAV.The results showed the distribution of the spatial spray deposition and the downwash flow field of UAV could be measured effectively at exact flight height and velocity via this method. When the average wind speed was 0.9 m/s,the average temperature was 31.5℃ and the average relative humidity was 34.1%,and the average distribution ratios of spraying deposition for model‘3WQF80-10’UAV on the upwind part, the top part, the downwind part and the bottom part were 4.4%,2.3%,50.4%and 43.7%,respectively.The flight directions of forward and backward had an impact on droplet deposition distribution and the working effect of flying backwards, with 60%of deposition ratio of the bottom part of the SFSSDQB,was better than flying forward. There was a linear negative correlation between the coefficient of variation(CV)of the bottom part and the flight height and the coefficient of determination was 0.9178,which means that the deposition distribution becomes more uniform with the increase of height.Additionally, there was a linear positive correlation between weighted mean deposition rate and crosswind speed and the coefficient of determination was 0.9684,which shows the deposition distribution gets more concentrated towards the downwind part with the rise of crosswind speed. Therefore, according to the results of tests of downwash airflow speed,it is shown that regardless of the flight direction and height and the crosswind, all these factors influence the droplet deposition distribution via weakening the intensity of the downwash airflow field in the direction perpendicular to the ground. The results can provide valuable information for the research of UAV pesticide application techniques and the establishment of the standard of spraying deposition and drift tests of UAV in crop field. | Changling Wang Xiongkui He Xiaonan Wang Zhichong Wang Shilin Wang Longlong Li Jane Bonds Andreas Herbst Zhiguo Wang | 2018 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2018,11,2: | 14
Effects of vegetation on flow conveyance and sediment transport capacity显示文摘In-stream and riparian vegetation may significantly affect flow and sediment transport in vegetated channels. A hydraulic model has been developed in this paper to compute the flow discharge in channels with rigid and flexible vegetation under emergent and submerged conditions. An empirical formula has also been presented to determine the bed-load discharge in vegetated channels. The model has been tested against experimental and field data available in the literature. The computed flow discharge and bed-load transport rate agree well with the measured data. | Weiming WU Zhiguo HE | 2009 | International Journal of Sediment Research2009,24,3: | 13
Surface pollen assemblages of human-disturbed vegetation and their relationship with vegetation and climate in Northeast China显示文摘Pollen assemblages of 53 surface pollen samples from farmlands and wastelands in Northeast China were analyzed. Tree pollen percentages were usually higher than 30%, with Pinus (26.9%), Quercus (0.9%), Betula (0.9%) and Populus (0.7%) as the major types, and herb pollen percentages were usually higher than 50%, with weedy Poaceae (8.7%), Chenopodiaceae (7.1%), Artemisia (1.9%) and Compositae (3.5%) as the major taxa. Thus, the pollen assemblages were consistent with the regional vegetation compositions. However, there were differences in pollen assemblages among regions, especially among different geomorphological units. For example, in the mountains, there were more types of tree pollen and higher total percentages (average 42%) than in other areas, while cereal pollen percentages were lowest (11.2%). In the hills and high plains, herbs made up more than 60% of the pollens, with cereals (average 53.6%) the dominant type. In the low plains, pollen types were similar to those in the hills and high plains, but total pollen concentrations and the proportion of Concentricystes were much higher, while cereal pollen percentages were slightly lower (average 41.6%). Pollen assemblages in different land use types also differed. For example, in farmland, cereal pollen percentages were more than 40% and Chenopodiaceae was usually less than 2.5%, while in wasteland, weedy Poaceae was usually less than 10% and Chenopodiaceae was usually higher than 25%. Total pollen concentrations in farmland (average 3909 grains/g) were much lower than in wasteland (average 15074 grains/g). Redundancy analysis revealed that pollen assemblages were significantly negatively correlated with mean annual temperature (-0.73) and July mean temperature (-0.81) and significantly positively correlated with mean annual precipitation (0.48), indicating that pollen assemblages in the artificial or human-disturbed vegetation reflect regional climate well. Comparison of pollen assemblages in different areas of northern China showed that pollen concentrations reflect the intensities of human impact to some degree. For example, pollen concentrations decrease as human impacts increase in intensity. The cereal pollen proportions in farmland differed by area. In Northeast China, cereal pollen proportions were distinctly higher than in most other areas of northern China, suggesting differences in planting habits and climate. | LI ManYue LI YueCong XU QingHai PANG RuiMing DING Wei ZHANG ShengRui HE ZhiGuo | 2012 | Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,5: | 10
Rehabilitation and Sustainable Use Pattern of Rocky-desertified Land in Southwest China’s Poverty-stricken Karst Mountainous Areas——A Case Study in Benggu Township, Xichou County, Yunnan, China显示文摘The rocky desert in a karst area directly causes the lack of soil, water and forest, hence leading to the poverty there. In 1990, the villagers from the Muzhe Village in Benggu Township, Xichou County, Yunnan declared a war against rocky desert in an attempt to ask the fields for more yields. They invented a distinctive land rehabilitation and sustainable use pattern called “transforming heavenand earth” that had been practiced in Southwest China’s karst areas. The key mechanism of the pattern was to develop terraced fields with well conserved soil, water and fertility by exploding rocks in the fields, building stone walls, gathering more soil, and improving soil quality and productivity for the fields in combination with building of irrigation facilities and roads, as well as with forestation and agriculture structure adjustment. The purpose of the pattern was to alleviate poverty in the karst areas by improving soil productivity and promoting agriculturaldevelopment. A typical area was studied with the help of Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) and the pattern was carried out there for fifteen years, have produced excellent ecological benefits and good economic benefits. Its application in the area approved that it was a sustainable land use pattern for rocky desert areas. | YANG Zisheng LIU Yansui BAO Guangjing LI Zhiguo HE Yimei | 2006 | Journal of Mountain Science2006,3,3: | 10

Preliminary analysis of spatiotemporal pattern of global land surface water显示文摘Land surface water(LSW) is one of the most important resources for human survival and development, and it is also a main component of global water recycling. A full understanding of the spatial distribution of land surface water and a continuous measuring of its dynamics can support to diagnose the global ecosystem and environment. Based on the Global Land 30-water 2000 and Global Land 30-water 2010 products, this research analyzed the spatial distribution pattern and temporal fluctuation of land surface water under scale-levels of global, latitude and longitude, continents, and climate zones. The Global Land 30-water products were corrected the temporal inconsistency of original remotely sensed data using MODIS time-series data, and then calculated the indices such as water area, water ration and coefficient of spatial variation for further analysis. Results show that total water area of land surface is about 3.68 million km2(2010), and occupies 2.73% of land area. The spatial distribution of land surface water is extremely uneven and is gathered mainly in mid- to high-latitude area of the Northern Hemisphere and tropic area. The comparison of water ratio between 2000 and 2010 indicates the overall fluctuation is small but spatially differentiated. The Global Land 30-water products and the statistics provided the fundamental information for analyzing the spatial distribution pattern and temporal fluctuation of land surface water and diagnosing the global ecosystem and environment. | CAO Xin CHEN Jun CHEN LiJun LIAO AnPing SUN FangDi LI Yang LI Lei LIN ZhongHui PANG ZhiGuo CHEN Jin HE ChaoYing PENG Shu | 2014 | Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,10: | 8
In vitro effect of iASPP on cell growth of oral tongue squamous cell carcinoma显示文摘iASPP is an inhibitory member of the apoptosis-stimulating proteins of P53(ASPP) family. iASPP is over expressed in several malignant tumors and potentially affects cancer progression. However, the expression and potential role of iASPP in oral tongue squamous cell carcinoma(OTSCC) have not been addressed. In our study, we detected iASPP expression in OTSCC by immunohistochemistry. iASPP expression is up-regulated in OTSCC tissues. Moreover, in clinical pathology specimens, we found that increased iASPP expression correlates with poor differentiation and lymph node metastasis. Using multicellular tumor spheroids(MTS) and flow cytometry, we demonstrated that iASPP down-regulation arrests OTSCC cells at the G0/G1 phase, induces OTSCC cell apoptosis and inhibits OTSCC cell proliferation. These results indicate that iASPP plays a significant role in the progression of OTSCC and may serve as a biomarker or therapeutic target for OTSCC patients. | Yu Chen Wangxiang Yan Shuqi He Jiechun Chen Dan Chen Zhaoqiang Zhang Zhiguo Liu Xueqiang Ding Anxun Wang | 2014 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2014,26,4: | 7
A formal model for access control with supporting spatial context显示文摘There is an emerging recognition of the importance of utilizing contextual informa tion in authorization decisions. Controlling access to resources in the field of wireless and mobile networking require the definition of a formal model for access control with supporting spatial context. However, traditional RBAC model does not specify these spatial requirements. In this paper, we extend the existing RBAC model and propose the SC-RBAC model that utilizes spatial and location-based information in security policy definitions. The concept of spatial role is presented, and the role is assigned a logical location domain to specify the spatial boundary. Roles are activated based on the current physical position of the user which obtained from a specific mobile terminal. We then extend SC-RBAC to deal with hierarchies, modeling permission, user and activation inheritance, and prove that the hierarchical spatial roles are capable of constructing a lattice which is a means for articulate multi-level security policy and more suitable to control the information flow security for safety-critical location-aware information systems. Next, constrained SC-RBAC allows express various spatial separations of duty constraints, location-based cardinality and temporal constraints for specify fine-grained spatial semantics that are typical in location-aware systems. Finally, we introduce 9 invariants for the constrained SC-RBAC and its basic security theorem is proven. The constrained SC-RBAC provides the foundation for applications in need of the constrained spatial context aware access control. | ZHANG Hong HE YePing SHI ZhiGuo | 2007 | Science in China(Series F)2007,50,3: | 7

Comparative genomic and transcriptomic analyses uncover the molecular basis of high nitrogen-use efficiency in the wheat cultivar Kenong 9204显示文摘Studying the regulatory mechanisms that drive nitrogen-use efficiency(NUE)in crops is important for sustainable agriculture and environmental protection. In this study,we generated a high-quality genome assembly for the high-NUE wheat cultivar Kenong 9204 and systematically analyzed genes related to nitrogen uptake and metabolism.By comparative analyses,we found that the high-affinity nitrate transporter gene family had expanded in Triticeae.Further studies showed that subsequent functional differentiation endowed the expanded family members with saline inducibility, providing a genetic basis for improving the adaptability of wheat to nitrogen deficiency in various habitats. To explore the genetic and molecular mechanisms of high NUE,we compared genomic and transcriptomic data from the high-NUE cultivar Kenong 9204(KN9204)and the low-NUE cultivar Jing 411 and quantified their nitrogen accumulation under high-and low-nitrogen conditions.Compared with Jing 411,KN9204 absorbed significantly more nitrogen at the reproductive stage after shooting and accumulated it in the shoots and seeds.Transcriptome data analysis revealed that nitrogen deficiency clearly suppressed the expression of genes related to cell division in the young spike of Jing 411,whereas this suppression of gene expression was much lower in KN9204.In addition,KN9204 maintained relatively high expression of NPF genes for a longer time than Jing 411 during seed maturity.Physiological and transcriptome data revealed that KN9204 was more tolerant of nitrogen deficiency than Jing 411,especially at the reproductive stage. The high NUE of KN9204 is an integrated effect controlled at different levels.Taken together, our data provide new insights into the molecular mechanisms of NUE and important gene resources for improving wheat cultivars with a higher NUE trait. | Xiaoli Shi Fa Cui Xinyin Han Yilin He Long Zhao Na Zhang Hao Zhang Haidong Zhu Zhexin Liu Bin Ma Shusong Zheng Wei Zhang Jiajia Liu Xiaoli Fan Yaoqi Si Shuiquan Tian Jianqing Niu Huilan Wu Xuemei Liu Zhuo Chen Deyuan Meng Xiaoyan Wang Liqiang Song Lijing Sun Jie Han Hui Zhao Jun Ji Zhiguo Wang Xiaoyu He Ruilin Li Xuebin Chi Chengzhi Liang Beifang Niu Jun Xiao Junming Li Hong-Qing Ling | 2022 | Molecular Plant2022,15,9: | 6
Implementation of an efficient segregated algorithm-IDEAL on 3D collocated grid system显示文摘The segregated algorithm-IDEAL (inner doubly-iterative efficient algorithm for linked-equations) is an efficient and stable algorithm. In this algorithm, there exist inner doubly-iterative processes for pres-sure equation, which almost completely overcome two approximations in SIMPLE algorithm. Thus the coupling between velocity and pressure is fully guaranteed, greatly enhancing the convergence rate and stability of iteration process. In this paper, implementation of the IDEAL algorithm on a 3D collo-cated grid system is conducted. The interface velocity is calculated by the modified momentum inter-polation method (MMIM), by which the converged result is independent of the under-relaxation factor. Finally, five three-dimensional incompressible fluid flow and heat transfer problems are provided to compare the convergence rate and robustness between the IDEAL and three other most widely-used algorithms (SIMPLER, SIMPLEC and PISO). By the comparison it can be concluded that the IDEAL al-gorithm is more robust and efficient than the three other algorithms. | SUN DongLiang QU ZhiGuo HE YaLing Tao WenQuan | 2009 | Chinese Science Bulletin2009,54,6: | 5
Numerical simulation of dam-break flow and bed change considering the vegetation effects显示文摘Existing numerical investigations of dam-break flows rarely consider the effects of vegetation. This paper presents a depth-averaged two-dimensional model for dam-break flows over mobile and vegetated beds.In the model, both the consequences of reducing space for storing mass and momentum by the existence of vegetation and dragging the flow are considered:the former is considered by introducing a factor(1-c) to the flow depth, where c is the vegetation density;the later is considered by including an additional sink term in the momentum equations. The new governing equations are discretized by the finite volume method;and an existing second-order central-upwind scheme embedded with the hydrostatic reconstruction method for water depth,is used to estimate the fluxes;the source terms are estimated by either explicit or semi-explicit methods fulfilling the stability requirement.Laboratory experiments of dam-break flows or quasi-steady flows with/without vegetation effects/sediment transport are simulated. The good agreements between the measurements and the numerical simulations demonstrate a satisfactory performance of the model in reproducing the flow depth, velocity and bed deformation depth.Numerical case studies of six scenarios of dam-break flows over a mobile and vegetated bed are conducted. It is shown that when the area of the vegetation zone, the vegetation density, and the pattern of the vegetation distribution are varied, the resulted bed morphological change differs greatly, suggesting a great influence of vegetation on the dam-break flow evolution.Specifically, the vegetation may divert the direction of the main flow, hindering the flow and thus result in increased deposition upstream of the vegetation. | Zhiguo He Ting Wu Haoxuan Weng Peng Hu Gangfeng Wu | 2017 | International Journal of Sediment Research2017,32,1: | 5

Multi-dimensional overall regulatory modes and threshold values for water cycle of the Haihe River Basin显示文摘In this study, a multi-dimensional critical regulatory criteria and decision-making mechanism based on the scientific cognition of multi-dimensional attributes and characteristics of the water cycle was proposed. This system was functioned by deeply discriminating the nature-society binary characteristics of the five-dimensional characteristics of the water cycle system of the Haihe River Basin (water resources, economy, society, ecology, and environment) under the influence of high-intensity human activities and hydrological changes and by analyzing the organic interactive relationships between the five dimensions and their overall effect on the water cycle. A GDP calculation model was constructed in this study by adjusting the water environment for water resources, after which five-dimensional normalization objective functions were established for multi-objective analysis to carry out trade-off analysis of multi-dimensional regulatory indexes. In addition, synergetic theory, entropy theory and dissipation structure theory were introduced to construct an evaluation model for multi-dimensional regulatory schemes. A water cycle multi-dimensional critical overall regulatory model system was also established. This system consisted of a multi-objective macroeconomic model (DAMOS), water resource allocation model based on rules (ROWAS), evaluation model for WEDP (EMW) and multi-dimensional regulatory scheme evaluation model (SEAMUR) as the main body. To address the national demands faced by the Haihe River Basin as a result of combinatorial schemes for different hydrological series and water amounts diverted by the south-to-north water diversion project, this study adopted a hierarchy progression method to set up the technologies, investigated multi-dimensional overall regulatory methods, proposed an overall regulation threshold value for the water cycle of the Haihe River Basin, and recommended corresponding five-dimensional regulatory schemes. | GAN Hong WANG Lin CAO YinBai YOU JinJun GAN ZhiGuo QIN ChangHai HE Shan XU Kai | 2013 | Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,27: | 4
