1Effect of music therapy derived from the five elements in Traditional Chinese Medicine on post-stroke depression显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of five phase music therapy in patients with depression after ischemic stroke.METHODS: A total of 92 patients with post-stroke depression were randomly divided into the control group(32 cases), treatment group A(30 cases), and treatment group B(30 cases). All groups were given basic therapies for cerebral infarction. In addition,the control group was administerd 50 mg of oral sertraline hydrochloride daily, while treatment groups A and B received needling at Baihui(GV 20)plus acupoint injection at Yanglingquan(GB 34) daily; treatment group B also received music therapy derived from the five phases in Traditional ChineseMedicine theory twice daily. All treatments were administered for 5 d per treatment cycle for three cycles, with a 1 d interval between cycles. In all three groups, Hamilton's depression scale(HAMD-17)score and the activities of daily life(ADL) score were measured before and after treatment, and side effects were assessed with the treatment emergent symptom scale.RESULTS: The HAMD-17 score significantly decreased after treatment in all three groups, and the post-treatment reduction in HAMD-17 score was markedly greater in treatment group B than in treatment group A(P < 0.01). The ADL score significantly increased after treatment in all three groups,and the post-treatment increase in ADL score was significantly greater in treatment group B than in treatment group A(P < 0.01). 6Factors and mechanism driving the land-use conversion in Jiangxi Province显示文摘This article explores the factors and mechanism driving the land-use conversion at regional level by developing and using an econometric approach which is called the simultaneous equations model (SEM). A case study in Jiangxi Province of China is conducted by establishing the SEM, which consists of three equations including agricultural production, land conversion of cultivated land to built-up area and land conversion of cultivated land to forest cover/grassland from 1988 to 2005. And then this paper employs the method of piecewise estimation to represent the influences of the factors such as population, society, economy, location and geophysical conditions on the process of land-use conversion in Jiangxi Province. Estimation results show that population is a predominant factor driving the land-use conversion at counties, while social and economic factors are determinant factors in the short term for the entire Jiangxi Province. Specifically, the size of agricultural population and the magnitude of agricultural input determine the agricultural production to a large extent; population size, plain area proportion at counties and land management policies together affect the direction and magnitude of conversion between cultivated land and built-up area; agricultural population proportion, terrain slope, grain production and non-agricultural industry promote the conversion of cultivated land to forest cover/grassland. Furthermore, the explored mechanism also reveals the underlying causes of the land use changes driven by a series of factors in Jiangxi Province. 13Field-portable ratiometric fluorescence imaging of dual-color label-free carbon dots for uranyl ions detection with cellphone-based optical platform显示文摘Under the public spotlight,uranyl(UO22+)ions has attracted considerable attention for the extreme radioactive and chemical toxicity to ourselves and our environment.Herein,we present a simple and effective ratiometric fluorescence imaging method for the visualizing and quantitative detection UO22+ions by cellphone-based optical platform.The sensing solution was prepared by mixing label-free red carbon dots(r-CDs)and blue carbon dots(b-CDs)together with a fixed photoluminescence intensity ratio of 4:1.When UO22+ions were added,the fluorescence of r-CDs can be selectively quenched,while the fluorescence of b-CDs remains stable without spectral cha nges.With the gradually increase the amounts of UO22+ions,the different response of dual-color CDs resulted in a signification color evolution from deep red to dark purple under the ultraviolet(UV)light illumination.Then,a cellphone-based optical platform was constructed for directly imaging the color change of the samples,and the built-in Colorpicker APP quickly output the red,green and blue(RGB)channel values of these images within one second.Interesting,there was a linear relationship between the ratio of red and blue(R/B)channel values and UO22+ions concentration from 0μmol/L to 30.0μmol/L(R^2=0.92804)with the detection limit of^8.15μmol/L(signal-to-noise ratio of 3).In addition,the optical platform has also been applied to the quantification of UO22+ions in tap water and river water sample.With the advantage of low-cost,portable,easy to operation,we anticipate that this method would greatly improve the accessibility of UO22+ions detection even in resource-limited areas.Jingjing Qian Nana Cao Jian Zhang Jinjin Hou Qian Chen Cheng Zhang Yudie Sun Shengjun Liu Lifang He Kui Zhang Haibo Zhou 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,11:0

15High-temperature ferromagnetic metallic phase in LaMnO_(3)/Sr_(3)Al_(2)O_(6)heterostructure显示文摘To achieve a flexible single-crystal multifunctional membrane,the freestanding process of a rigid epitaxial transition metal oxide thin film via a buffered water-dissolution sacrificial layer has attracted reasonable attentions.Owing to the difference in chemical potential,specific element affinity,and lattice constant between the target membrane and the sacrificial layer,the freestanding process may cause an indelible change of physics property once the target thin film is sensitive to the above factors.Here,the heterostructures composed of the generally adopted sacrificial layer Sr_(3)Al_(2)O_(6)(SAO)and LaMnO_(3)(LMO)have been systematically investigated.The electrical and magnetic properties of LMO show extreme sensitivity to the thickness of SAO(tSAO).Then we have also found that LMO/SAO heterostructures can exhibit the coexistence of two ferromagnetic phases,the significantly enhanced Curie temperature~342 K,and the large magnetoresistance-23.3%at 300 K,which is similar to the optimal-doped manganite such as La_(2/3)Sr_(1/3)MnO_(3).X-ray diffraction results show that continuously tunable strain from out-of-plane tension to relaxation and then to compression can be generated by adjusting tSAO.This strain can stabilize the migrated oxygen from LMO to SAO,which is induced by the large oxygen affinity difference between Bsite Mn and Al.It is believed that these unexpected electrical/magnetic phenomena are originated from the combined effects of interfacial element diffusion and strain.Our study provides a strategy for designing new magnetic phases,and a reference for the fundamental understanding of strongly correlated transition metal oxide systems in the freestanding process.Di Wang Bin He Jinrui Guo Qixiang Wang Chaoqun Shi Yue Han Hong Fang Jie Wang Nana Zhang Peng Zhang Yanan Chen Changwen Zhang Weiming Lü Shishen Yan 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,24:0

18Computation Tree Logic Model Checking of Multi-Agent Systems Based on Fuzzy Epistemic Interpreted Systems显示文摘Model checking is an automated formal verification method to verify whether epistemic multi-agent systems adhere to property specifications.Although there is an extensive literature on qualitative properties such as safety and liveness,there is still a lack of quantitative and uncertain property verifications for these systems.In uncertain environments,agents must make judicious decisions based on subjective epistemic.To verify epistemic and measurable properties in multi-agent systems,this paper extends fuzzy computation tree logic by introducing epistemic modalities and proposing a new Fuzzy Computation Tree Logic of Knowledge(FCTLK).We represent fuzzy multi-agent systems as distributed knowledge bases with fuzzy epistemic interpreted systems.In addition,we provide a transformation algorithm from fuzzy epistemic interpreted systems to fuzzy Kripke structures,as well as transformation rules from FCTLK formulas to Fuzzy Computation Tree Logic(FCTL)formulas.Accordingly,we transform the FCTLK model checking problem into the FCTL model checking.This enables the verification of FCTLK formulas by using the fuzzy model checking algorithm of FCTL without additional computational overheads.Finally,we present correctness proofs and complexity analyses of the proposed algorithms.Additionally,we further illustrate the practical application of our approach through an example of a train control system.Xia Li Zhanyou Ma Zhibao Mian Ziyuan Liu Ruiqi Huang Nana He 2024Computers, Materials & Continua2024,78,3:0

20Potentials of miR-9-5p in promoting epileptic seizure and improving survival of glioma patients显示文摘Background Epilepsy affects over 70 million people worldwide;however,the underlying mechanisms remain unclear.MicroRNAs(miRNAs)have essential functions in epilepsy.miRNA-9,a brain-specific/enriched miRNA,plays a role in various nervous system diseases and tumors,but whether miRNA-9 is involved in epilepsy and glioma-associated epilepsy remains unknown.Therefore,we aimed to explore the potential role of miR-9-5p in seizures and its effect on the survival of glioma patients,in order to provide new targets for the treatment of epilepsy and glioma.Methods The YM500v2 database was used to validate the expression of hsa-miR-9-5p in tissues.Moreover,qRT-PCR was performed to investigate the expression of miR-9-5p in temporal lobe epilepsy patients and rats with lithium-pilocarpine-induced seizures.Recombinant adeno-associated virus containing miR-9-5p was constructed to overexpress miR-9-5p in vivo.The effects of miR-9-5p on the behavior and electroencephalographic activities of the lithium-pilocarpine rat model of epilepsy were tested.Bioinformatics analysis was used to predict the targets of miR-9-5p and explore its potential role in epilepsy and glioma-associated epilepsy.Results The expression of miR-9-5p increased at 6 h and 7 days after lithium-pilocarpine-induced seizures in rats.Overexpression of miR-9-5p significantly shortened the latency of seizures and increased seizure intensity at 10 min and 20 min after administration of pilocarpine(P<0.05).Predicted targets of miR-9-5p were abundant and enriched in the brain,and affected various pathways related to epilepsy and tumor.Survival analysis revealed that overexpression of miR-9-5p significantly improved the survival of patients from with low-grade gliomas and glioblastomas.The involvement of miR-9-5p in the glioma-associated epileptic seizures and the improvement of glioma survival may be related to multiple pathways,including the Rho GTPases and hub genes included SH3PXD2B,ARF6,and ANK2.Conclusions miR-9-5p may play a key role in promoting epileptic seizures and improving glioma survival,probably through multiple pathways,including GTPases of the Rho family and hub genes including SH3PXD2B,ARF6 and ANK2.Understanding the roles of miR-9-5p in epilepsy and glioma and the underlying mechanisms may provide a theoretical basis for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with epilepsy and glioma.Shenglin Wang Xuzhi He Nana Bao Mingyue Chen Xiaomi Ding Ming Zhang Li Zhao Shunxian Wang Guohui Jiang 2022Acta Epileptologica2022,5,4:0
