Guidelines on multidisciplinary approaches for the prevention and management of diabetic foot disease(2020 edition)显示文摘In recent years,as living standards have continued to improve, the number of diabetes patients in China, along with the incidence of complications associated with the disease, has been increasing.Among these complications, diabetic foot disease is one of the main causes of disability and death in diabetic patients.Due to the differences in economy, culture, religion and level of medical care available across different regions, preventive and treatment methods and curative results for diabetic foot vary greatly. In multidisciplinary models built around diabetic foot, the timely assessment and diagnosis of wounds and appropriate methods of prevention and treatment with internal and external surgery are key to clinical practice for this pathology. In 2019,under the leadership of the Jiangsu Medical Association and Chinese Diabetes Society, the writing group for the Guidelines on multidisciplinary approaches for the prevention and management of diabetic foot disease(2020 edition)was established with the participation of scholars from the specialist areas of endocrinology, burn injury, vascular surgery, orthopedics, foot and ankle surgery and cardiology.Drawing lessons from diabetic foot guidelines from other countries, this guide analyses clinical practices for diabetic foot, queries the theoretical basis and grades and gives recommendations based on the characteristics of the pathology in China. This paper begins with assessments and diagnoses of diabetic foot, then describes treatments for diabetic foot in detail, and ends with protections for high-risk feet and the prevention of ulcers. This manuscript covers the disciplines of internal medicine, surgical, nursing and rehabilitation and describes a total of 50 recommendations that we hope will provide procedures and protocols for clinicians dealing with diabetic foot.Aiping Wang Guozhong Lv Xingbo Cheng Xianghua Ma Wei Wang Jianchao Gui JiHu Meng Lu Guoping Chu Jin’an Chen Hao Zhang Yiqiu Jiang Yuedong Chen Wengbo Yang Lin Jiang Houfa Geng Rendong Zheng Yihui Li Wei Feng Boey Johnson Wenjuan Wang Dalong Zhu Yin Hu 2020Burns & Trauma2020,8,1:34
Effects of Crude Oil Contamination on Soil Physical and Chemical Properties in Momoge Wetland of China显示文摘Large oilfields are often coincidentally located in major river deltas and wetlands, and potentially damage the structure, function and ecosystem service values of wetlands during oil exploration. In the present study, the effects of crude oil contamination during oil exploration on soil physical and chemical properties were investigated in marshes of the Momoge National Nature Reserve in Jilin Province,China. The concentrations of total petroleum hydrocarbons in the marsh soil near the oil wells are significantly higher than those in the adjacent control marsh.Soil water contents in oil-contaminated marshes are negatively correlated with soil temperature and are significantly lower than those in the control area, especially in fall.Crude oil contamination significantly increases the soil pH up to8.0,and reduces available phosphorus concentrations in the soil. The concentrations of total organic carbon are significantly different among sampling sites. Therefore, crude oil contamination could potentially alkalinize marsh soils, adversely affect soil fertility and physical properties, and cause deterioration of the marshes in the Momoge National Nature Reserve.Phyto-remediation by planting Calamagrostis angustifolia has the potential to simultaneously restore and remediate the petroleum hydrocarbon-contaminated wetlands.Crude oil contamination affects the soil physical and chemical properties,so developing an effective restoration program in the Momoge wetland is neccesary.WANG Ying FENG Jiang LIN Qianxin LYU Xianguo WANG Xiaoyu WANG Guoping 2013Chinese Geographical Science2013,23,6:12
Whole-Genome Resequencing of a Worldwide Collection of Rapeseed Accessions Reveals the Genetic Basis of Ecotype Divergence显示文摘Rapeseed (Brassica napus),an important oilseed crop, has adapted to diverse climate zones and latitudes by forming three main ecotype groups, namely winter, semiwinter, and spring types. However, genetic variations underlying the divergence of these ecotypes are largely unknown. Here,we report the global pattern of genetic polymorphisms in rapeseed determined by resequencing a worldwide collection of 991 germplasm accessions.A total of 5.56 and 5.53 million singlenucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs)as Well as 1.86 and 1.92 million InDels were identified by mapping reads to the reference genomes of 'Darmor-bzh'and 'Tapidor,'respectively. We generated a map of allelic drift paths that shows splits and mixtures of the main populations, and revealed an asymmetric evolution of the two subgenomes of B.napus by calculating the genetic diversity and linkage disequilibrium parameters.Selective-sweep analysis revealed genetic changes in genes orthologous to those regulating various aspects of plant development and response to stresses.A genome-wide association study identified SNPs in the promoter regions of FLOWERING LOCUS T and FLOWERING LOCUS C orthologs that corresponded to the different rapeseed ecotype groups. Our study provides important insights into the genomic footprints of rapeseed evolution and flowering-time divergence among three ecotype groups, and will facilitate screening of molecular markers for accelerating rapeseed breeding.Dezhi Wu Zhe Liang Tao Yan Ying Xu Lijie Xuan Juan Tang Gang Zhou Ulrike Lohwasser Shuijin Hua Haoyi Wang Xiaoyang Chen Qian Wang Le Zhu Antony Maodzeka Nazim Hussain Zhilan Li Xuming Li Imran Haider Shamsi Ghulam Jilani Linde Wu Hongkun Zheng Guoping Zhang Boulos Chalhoub Lisha Shen Hao Yu Lixi Jiang 2019Molecular Plant2019,12,1:10
A fractal study for nucleate pool boiling heat transfer of nanofluids显示文摘In this paper, a fractal model for nucleate pool boiling heat transfer of nanofluids is developed based on the fractal distribution of nanoparticles and nucleation sites on boiling surfaces. The model shows the dependences of the heat flux on nanoparticle size and the nanoparticle volume fraction of the suspension, the fractal dimension of the nanoparticle and nucleation site, temperature of nanofluids and properties of fluids. The fractal model predictions show that the natural convection stage continues relatively longer in the case of nanofluids. The addition of nanoparticles causes a decrease of the pool nucleate boiling heat transfer. The nucleate pool boiling heat transfer coefficient is decreased by increasing particle concentration. An excellent agreement between the proposed model predictions and experimental data is found. The validity of the fractal model for nucleate pool boiling heat transfer is thus verified.XIAO BoQi 1 , JIANG GuoPing 2 & CHEN LingXia 1 1 Department of Physics and Electromechanical Engineering, Sanming University, Sanming 365004, China 2 Earthquake Engineering Research Test Center, Guangzhou University, Guangzhou 510405, China 2010Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2010,53,1:6
Local Bifurcation Analysis of a Delayed Fractional-order Dynamic Model of Dual Congestion Control Algorithms显示文摘In this paper, we propose a delayed fractional-order congestion control model which is more accurate than the original integer-order model when depicting the dual congestion control algorithms. The presence of fractional orders requires the use of suitable criteria which usually make the analytical work so harder. Based on the stability theorems on delayed fractionalorder differential equations, we study the issue of the stability and bifurcations for such a model by choosing the communication delay as the bifurcation parameter. By analyzing the associated characteristic equation, some explicit conditions for the local stability of the equilibrium are given for the delayed fractionalorder model of congestion control algorithms. Moreover, the Hopf bifurcation conditions for general delayed fractional-order systems are proposed. The existence of Hopf bifurcations at the equilibrium is established. The critical values of the delay are identified, where the Hopf bifurcations occur and a family of oscillations bifurcate from the equilibrium. Same as the delay, the fractional order normally plays an important role in the dynamics of delayed fractional-order systems. It is found that the critical value of Hopf bifurcations is crucially dependent on the fractional order. Finally, numerical simulations are carried out to illustrate the main results.Min Xiao Guoping Jiang Jinde Cao Weixing Zheng 2017IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2017,4,2:5
Multidisciplinary design optimization of adaptive wing leading edge显示文摘Adaptive wing can significantly enhance aircraft aerodynamic performance, which refers to aerodynamic and structural opti-mization designs. This paper introduces a two-step approach to solve the interrelated problems of the adaptive leading edge. In the first step, the procedure of airfoil optimization is carried out with an initial configuration of NACA 0006. On the basis of the combination of design of experiment (DOE), response surface method (RSM) and genetic algorithm (GA), an adaptive air-foil can be obtained whose lift-to-drag ratio is larger than the baseline airfoil's at the given angle of attack and subsonic speed. The next step is to design a compliant structure to achieve the target airfoil shape, which is the optimization result of the previous step. In order to minimize the deviation of the deformed shape from the target shape, the load path representation topology method is presented. This method is developed by way of GA, with size and shape optimization incorporated in it simul-taneously. Finally, a comparison study with the Solid Isotropic Material with Penalization (SIMP) method in Altair OptiStruct is conducted, and the results demonstrate the validity and effectiveness of the proposed approach.SUN RuJie CHEN GuoPing ZHOU Chen ZHOU LanWei JIANG JinHui 2013Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,7:5

A botanical medicine dragon’s blood exhibited clinical antithrombosis efficacy similar to low molecular weight heparin显示文摘Deep vein thrombosis(DVT)is a common complication following traumatic fracture with a 0.5%–1%annual incidence.Low molecular weight heparin(LMWH)is the most commonly used anticoagulation drug for DVT prevention, but treatment with LMWH is invasive. Our aim is to compare the antithrombotic effect of dragon’s blood,an oral botanical anticoagulant medicine approved by the Chinese FDA,with LMWH in patients undergoing hip fracture surgery and to explore the molecular mechanisms of anticoagulation treatment. Our study recruited patients and divided them into LMWH and dragon’s blood treatment group.Coagulation index tests,Doppler ultrasound and mRNA sequencing were performed before and after anticoagulation therapy. There was no significant difference in postoperative DVT incidence between the two groups(23.1%versus 15.4%,P=0.694).D-dimer(D-D)and fibrinogen degradation product(FDP)showed significant reductions in both groups after anticoagulation treatments. We identified SLC4A1,PROS1,PRKAR2B and seven other genes as being differentially expressed during anticoagulation therapy in both groups.Genes correlated with coagulation indexes were also identified.Dragon’s blood and LMWH showed similar effects on DVT and produced similar gene expression changes in patients undergoing hip fracture surgery, indicating that dragon’s blood is a more convenient antithrombosis medicine(oral)than LMWH(hypodermic injection).Jiangbin Liang Song Mei Xiangyu Qiao Wei Pan Yan Zhao Shaohui Shi Yaling Zhai Haizhao Wen Guoping Wu Chengyu Jiang 2021Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,10:4
Sirtl regulates testosterone biosynthesis in Leydig cells via modulating autophagy显示文摘Dear Editor,Steroid hormones are crucial signal molecules that regulate a large number of physiological and developmental pro-cesses.Testosterone is the key steroid hormone required for the development of male characteristics and also supports the physiology of the male reproductive system(Sinclair et al.,2015).Testosterone is primarily produced by the Leydig cells residing in the testicular interstitium. The cholesterol acts as a substrate for the biosynthesis of testosterone.Since steroidogenic cells are capable of stor-ing only very ltte hormone, rapid synthesis of hormone requires the mobilization of the precursor cholesterol, chiefly stored as intracellular lipid droplets(LDs)(Danielsen et al.,2016).Leydig cells are the major sites to produce testos-terone,there are extremely active autophagy in them, and a decline in steroidogenesis has also been associated with the decline of autophagic flow. Moreover, the disruption of autophagy leads to decreased intracellular LDs,and there-fore affects testosterone synthesis in the Leydig cells(Danielsen et al..2016;Gao et al,2018).Muhammad Babar Khawar Chao Liu Fengyi Gao Hui Gao Wenwen Liu Tingting Han Lina Wang Guoping Li Hui Jiang Wei Li 2021Protein & Cell2021,12,1:3
An analyzing and experimental method based on the resultant motion signals for SCARA manipulator joints显示文摘Acceleration reflects vibration of a robot, and the vibration signal can reflect the operation state of the robot. Generally, detection of robot mechanical arm failure requires installing sensors on each joint. This study proposes a method to diagnose the fault by single acceleration sensor only, which is installed at the end of the robot. The operation state of the robot is evaluated by analyzing vibration characteristics of its acceleration. First,a data acquisition function of a programmable multi-axis controller is applied to extract practical motion signals of the robot joints during operation, and practical motion signals are analyzed. Second, synthetic methods to determine acceleration of the end joints of SCARA robots in a Cartesian space is used based on the theory of the Jacobian matrix and the frequency domain of final acceleration is investigated. The relationship between end-and joint-vibration frequencies under given speeds is determined. Then, the method is verified by comparing characteristic frequencies of joint acceleration and synthetic acceleration in Cartesian coordinate system at different speeds. Finally, some faults can be diagnosed by comparing the acceleration vibration frequency extracted by a single acceleration sensor installed at the end of robot with the normal running state. Thus, this method can be used to monitor the signal variation of each joint without installing sensors on each robot joint.徐丰羽 Yang Zhong Jiang Guoping 2017High Technology Letters2017,23,3:3

Comparative Effects of Avoidance and Immunization on Epidemic Spreading in a Dynamic Small-World Network with Community Structure显示文摘Considering the actual behavior of people’s short-term travel,we propose a dynamic small-world community network model with tunable community strength which has constant local links and time varying long-range jumps. Then an epidemic model of susceptible-infected-recovered is established based on the mean-field method to evaluate the inhibitory effects of avoidance and immunization on epidemic spreading. And an approximate formula for the epidemic threshold is obtained by mathematical analysis. The simulation results show that the epidemic threshold decreases with the increase of inner-community motivation rate and inter-community long-range motivation rate, while it increases with the increase of immunization rate or avoidance rate.It indicates that the inhibitory effect on epidemic spreading of immunization works better than that of avoidance.LI Chanchan JIANG Guoping SONG Yurong 2016Wuhan University Journal of Natural Sciences2016,21,4:2
The genome and gene editing system of sea barleygrass provide a novel platform for cereal domestication and stress tolerance studies显示文摘The tribe Triticeae provides important staple cereal crops and contains elite wild species with wide geneticdiversity and high tolerance to abiotic stresses. Sea barleygrass (Hordeum marinum Huds.), a wildTriticeae species, thrives in saline marshlands and is well known for its high tolerance to salinity and waterlogging. Here, a 3.82-Gb high-quality reference genome of sea barleygrass is assembled de novo, with 3.69Gb (96.8%) of its sequences anchored onto seven chromosomes. In total, 41 045 high-confidence (HC)genes are annotated by homology, de novo prediction, and transcriptome analysis. Phylogenetics, nonsynonymous/synonymous mutation ratios (Ka/Ks), and transcriptomic and functional analyses provide genetic evidence for the divergence in morphology and salt tolerance among sea barleygrass, barley, andwheat. The large variation in post-domestication genes (e.g. IPA1 and MOC1) may cause interspecies differences in plant morphology. The extremely high salt tolerance of sea barleygrass is mainly attributed tolow Na+ uptake and root-to-shoot translocation, which are mainly controlled by SOS1, HKT, and NHX transporters. Agrobacterium-mediated transformation and CRISPR/Cas9-mediated gene editing systems weredeveloped for sea barleygrass to promote its utilization for exploration and functional studies of hubgenes and for the genetic improvement of cereal crops.Liuhui Kuang Qiufang Shen Liyang Chen Lingzhen Ye Tao Yan Zhong-Hua Chen Robbie Waugh Qi Li Lu Huang Shengguan Cai Liangbo Fu Pengwei Xing Kai Wang Jiari Shao Feibo Wu Lixi Jiang Dezhi Wu Guoping Zhang 2022Plant Communications2022,3,5:2
SHOCK INITIATION OF EXPLOSIVES INVESTIGATED WITH SMALL PARTITION EXPERIMENT AND NUMERICAL SIMULATION显示文摘In order to investigate the shock ignition of high energy solid explosives by shock waves,we carry out Lagrangian experiments with 2-D Lagrangian technique which uses composite manganin-constantan(CMC).The efects of the shock sensitivity of pressed solid high explosives,TNT,and the efect of the lateral rarefaction wave were studied.Based on the measured pressure histories and the radial displacements,we formulate the Ignition and Growth reactive flow models for the pressed TNT.The shock initiation process simulated by Ignition and Growth model agreed well with experimental data. This pressed TNT model can be applied to shock initiation scenarios which are highly unpredictable and have not been or cannot be tested experimentally.Weijun Tao Shi Huan Fenglei Huang Guoping Jiang 2013Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica2013,26,4:2
Multiple Input Multiple Output CDSK Chaotic Communication System and Its Performance Analysis显示文摘This paper propose a novel noncoherent chaotic communication scheme named multiple-input multiple-output correlation-delay-shift- keying(MIMO-CDSK). In this scheme, multiple antennas are employed to strengthen the robustness in transmission, and to get more diversity gain. The bit error rate(BER) of the MIMO-CDSK is studied analytically in AWGN channel model and multipath fading channel model. The theory and simulation results show that, the performance gain can be obtained with multiple antennas allocated in the transmitter and receiver. Moreover, it is observed that MIMO-CDSK system can effectively reduce the multipath interference.DUAN Junyi JIANG Guoping YANG Hua 2016Wuhan University Journal of Natural Sciences2016,21,3:2
Integrated transcriptome analysis of human iPS cells derived from a fragile X syndrome patient during neuronal differentiation显示文摘Fragile X syndrome(FXS) patients carry the expansion of over 200 CGG repeats at the promoter of fragile X mental retardation 1(FMR1), leading to decreased or absent expression of its encoded fragile X mental retardation protein(FMRP). However, the global transcriptional alteration by FMRP deficiency has not been well characterized at single nucleotide resolution, i.e., RNA-seq. Here,we performed in-vitro neuronal differentiation of human induced pluripotent stem(iPS) cells that were derived from fibroblasts of a FXS patient(FXS-iPSC). We then performed RNA-seq and examined the transcriptional misregulation at each intermediate stage during in-vitro differentiation of FXS-iPSC into neurons. After thoroughly analyzing the transcriptomic data and integrating them with those from other platforms, we found up-regulation of many genes encoding TFs for neuronal differentiation(WNT1, BMP4,POU3F4, TFAP2 C, and PAX3), down-regulation of potassium channels(KCNA1, KCNC3, KCNG2, KCNIP4, KCNJ3, KCNK9,and KCNT1) and altered temporal regulation of SHANK1 and NNAT in FXS-iPSC derived neurons, indicating impaired neuronal differentiation and function in FXS patients. In conclusion, we demonstrated that the FMRP deficiency in FXS patients has significant impact on the gene expression patterns during development, which will help to discover potential targeting candidates for the cure of FXS symptoms.Ping Lu Xiaolong Chen Yun Feng Qiao Zeng Cizhong Jiang Xianmin Zhu Guoping Fan Zhigang Xue 2016Science China(Life Sciences)2016,59,11:2

Heat Shock Protein 72 Protects Retinal Ganglion Cells in Rat Model of Acute Glaucoma显示文摘Purpose: To investigate whether the induction of heat shock protein (HSP)72 by heat stress (HS) or zinc (Zn2+ ) administration can increase survival of retinal ganglion cells (RGC) in rat model of acute experimental glaucoma. Methods: Acute glaucoma model was made by intracameral irrigation with BSS at 102 mmHg for two hours in right eyes of male Wistar rats. Glaucoma model rats were treated with HS once a week (six rats) or intraperitoneal injection of zinc sulfate (24.6 mg/kg) every two weeks (six rats), and were referred to as HS group and zinc group, respectively. Untreated model rats served as damage group (six rats). In control groups, quercetin (400 mg/kg) was intraperitoneally injected to inhibit the induction of heat shock proteins 6 hours before HS or zinc administration, and were referred to as HS+que group (six rats) and zinc+que group (six rats), respectively. Subsequent to 16 days of IOP elevation, the rats were sacrificed. Eyes were quickly enucleated, and the retinas were dissected. RGC were labeled with Nissl staining and counted under microscope. Results: The average RGC density in normal Wistar rats was (2504±181) cells/mm2. In damage group, it decreased to (2015±111 ) cells/mm2. The RGC densities at 1,2, and 3 mm from the center of the optic nerve head were (2716±215), (2496±168), and (2317±171) cells/mm2, respectively, for normal rats and (2211±133), (1969±154),and (1872±68) cells/mm2, respectively, for damage group. The latter was significantly lower at all locations compared with the former (P=0.027 for each, Mann-Whitney test). The average RGC densities were (2207±200) cells/mm2 for HS group, (2272±155) cells/mm2 for zinc group, (1964±188) cells/mm2 for HS+que group, (2051 ±214) cells/mm2 for zinc+que group and (2015±111 ) cells/mm2 for damage group. There were significant differences in density of labeled RGCs among the five groups (P=0.040,Kruskal-Wallis test). Both HS and zinc group had higher RGC densities than damage group (P =0.036 between HS and damage group,P=0.019 between zinc and damage group, Mann-Whitney test). There was no significant difference in RGC densitiy between control groups and damage group(P=0.260 between HS+que and damage group,P=0.748 between zinc+que and damage group, Mann-Whitney test). Conclusions: The results demonstrated that the induction of HSP72 in RGCs by HS or zinc administration plays an important role in the survival of RGCs in rat model of acute glaucoma. A novel therapeutic approach to glaucoma through an enhanced induction of endogenous HSP72 could be possible.Guoping Qing Xuanchu Duan Youqin Jiang 2005Eye Science2005,21,3:1
