| 1 | Active suspension in railway vehicles:a literature survey显示文摘Since the concept of active suspensions appeared,its large possible benefits has attracted continuous exploration in the field of railway engineering.With new demands of higher speed,better ride comfort and lower maintenance cost for railway vehicles,active suspensions are very promising technologies.Being the starting point of commercial application of active suspensions in rail vehicles,tilting trains have become a great success in some countries.With increased technical maturity of sensors and actuators,active suspension has unprecedented development opportunities.In this work,the basic concepts are summarized with new theories and solutions that have appeared over the last decade.Experimental studies and the implementation status of different active suspension technologies are described as well.Firstly,tilting trains are briefly described.Thereafter,an indepth study for active secondary and primary suspensions is performed.For both topics,after an introductory section an explanation of possible solutions existing in the literature is given.The implementation status is reported.Active secondary suspensions are categorized into active and semi-active suspensions.Primary suspensions are instead divided between acting on solid-axle wheelsets and independently rotating wheels.Lastly,a brief summary and outlook is presented in terms of benefits,research status and challenges.The potential for active suspensions in railway applications is outlined. | Bin Fu Rocco Libero Giossi Rickard Persson Sebastian Stichel Stefano Bruni Roger Goodall | 2020 | Railway Engineering Science2020，28，1： | 8 |
| 2 | Nest-site selection and breeding ecology of Streaked Wren-Babbler(Napothera brevicaudata)in a tropical limestone forest of southern China显示文摘Background: The breeding information of most birds in Asian tropical areas,especially in limestone forests,is still poorly known.The Streaked Wren-Babbler(Napothera brevicaudata) is an uncommon tropical limestone bird with a small range.We studied its nest-site selection and breeding ecology,in order to understand the adaptations of birds to the conditions of tropical limestone forest in southern China.Methods: We used methods of systematical searching and parent-following to locate the nests of the Streaked Wren-Babbler.We measured characteristics of nest sites and rock cavities.Data loggers and video cameras were used to monitor the breeding behavior.Results: All the observed nests of the Streaked Wren-Babbler were placed in natural shallow cavities or deep holes in large boulders or limestone cliffs.The great majority(96.6%) of Streaked Wren-Babbler nests had three eggs with an average fresh weight of 3.46-± 0.43 g(n = 36,range 2.52-4.20 g).Most(80.4%) females laid their first eggs between March and April(n = 46).The average incubation and nestling period of the Streaked Wren-Babbler was 10.2 range 9-11 days),respectively.Most(87.9%) nests h± 0.4 days(n = 5,range 1011 days) and 10.5 ± 0.8 days(n = 6,ad at least one nestling fledge between 2011 and 2013(n = 33).Conclusions: Our study suggests that several features of the breeding ecology of the Streaked Wren-Babbler,including building nests in rocky cavities,commencing breeding earlier than most species,and reducing foraging times during the incubation period,are well-adapted to the unique habitat of tropical limestone forest. | Aiwu Jiang Demeng Jiang Fang Zhou Eben Goodale | 2017 | Avian Research2017，8，4： | 7 |
| 3 | Multicentre collaborative cohort study of the use of Kirschner wires for the management of supracondylar fractures in children显示文摘Purpose:Supracondylar fractures of the humerus cause significant morbidity in children.Nerve damage and loss of fracture reduction are common recognised complications in patients with this injury.Uncertainty surrounds the optimal Kirschner wire configuration and diameter for closed reduction and pinning of these fractures.This study describes current practice and examined the association between wire configuration or diameter and outcomes(clinical and radiological)in the operative management of paediatric supracondylar fractures.Methods:Children presenting w让h GartlandⅡorⅢsupracondylar fractures at five hospitals in southwest England were eligible for inclusion.Collaborators scrutinised paper and electronic case notes.Outcome measures were maintenance of reduction and iatrogenic nerve injury.Results:Altogether 209 patients were eligible for inclusion:15.7%had a documented neurological deficit at presentation;3.9%who were neurologically intact at presentation sustained a new deficit caused by treatment and 13.4%experienced a clinically significant loss of reduction following fixation.Maintenance of reduction was significantly better in patients treated specifically with crossed×3 Kirschner wire configuration compared to all other configurations.The incidence of iatrogenic nerve injury was not significantly different between groups treated with different wire configurations.Conclusion:We present a large multicentre cohort study showing that crossed×3 Kirschner wires are associated with better maintenance of reduction than crossed×2 or lateral entry wires.Greater numbers would be required to properly investigate nerve injury relating to operative management of supracondylar fractures.We found significant variations in practice and compliance w让h the British Orthopaedic Association Standard for Trauma(BOAST)11 guidelines. | Henry Claireaux Richard Goodall Joshua Hill Elizabeth Wilson Philippa Coull Sebastian Green James Schuster-Bruce Diana Lim Joanna Miles Payam Tarassoli | 2019 | Chinese Journal of Traumatology2019，22，5： | 7 |

| 6 | Risk factors and outcomes of delayed graft function in renal transplant recipients receiving a steroid sparing immunosuppression protocol显示文摘AIM To analyse the risk factors and outcomes of delayed graft function(DGF) in patients receiving a steroid sparing protocol. METHODS Four hundred and twenty-seven recipients of deceased donor kidney transplants were studied of which 135(31.6%) experienced DGF. All patients received monoclonal antibody induction with a tacrolimus based, steroid sparing immunosuppression protocol.RESULTS Five year patient survival was 87.2% and 94.9% in the DGF and primary graft function(PGF) group respectively, P = 0.047. Allograft survival was 77.9% and 90.2% in the DGF and PGF group respectively, P < 0.001. Overall rejection free survival was no different between the DGF and PGF groups with a 1 and 5 year rejection free survival in the DGF group of 77.7% and 67.8% compared with 81.3% and 75.3% in the PGF group, P = 0.19. Patients with DGF who received IL2 receptor antibody induction were at significantly higher risk of rejection in the early post-transplant period than the group with DGF who received alemtuzumab induction. On multivariate analysis, risk factors for DGF were male recipients, recipients of black ethnicity, circulatory death donation, preformed DSA, increasing cold ischaemic time, older donor age and dialysis vintage.CONCLUSION Alemtuzumab induction may be of benefit in preventing early rejection episodes associated with DGF. We reviewed progress in this field over the past 30 years. While earlier studies mostly focused on network structure, stability, and biodiversity maintenance, recent studies have investigated the conservation implications of mutualistic networks, specifically the influence of invasive species and how networks respond to habitat loss. Current research has also focused on evolutionary questions including phylogenetic signal in networks, impact of networks on the coevolution of interacting partners, and network influences on the evolution of interacting species.
