| 1 | A Comprehensive Review of Animal Models for Coronaviruses: SARSCoV-2, SARS-CoV, and MERS-CoV显示文摘The recent outbreak of coronavirus disease(COVID-19) caused by the novel severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2) has already affected a large population of the world. SARS-CoV-2 belongs to the same family of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus(SARS-CoV) and Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus(MERSCoV). COVID-19 has a complex pathology involving severe acute respiratory infection, hyper-immune response, and coagulopathy. At present, there is no therapeutic drug or vaccine approved for the disease. There is an urgent need for an ideal animal model that can reflect clinical symptoms and underlying etiopathogenesis similar to COVID-19 patients which can be further used for evaluation of underlying mechanisms, potential vaccines, and therapeutic strategies. The current review provides a paramount insight into the available animal models of SARS-CoV-2, SARS-CoV, and MERS-CoV for the management of the diseases. | Ashutosh Singh Rahul Soloman Singh Phulen Sarma Gitika Batra Rupa Joshi Hardeep Kaur Amit Raj Sharma Ajay Prakash Bikash Medhi | 2020 | Virologica Sinica2020,35,3: | 3 |

| 16 | Broadband Spectral Properties of MAXI J1348-630 using AstroSat Observations显示文摘We present broadband X-ray spectral analysis of the black hole X-ray binary MAXI J1348-630,performed using five AstroSat observations. The source was in the soft spectral state for the first three observations and in the hard state for the last two.The three soft state spectra were modeled using a relativistic thin accretion disk with reflection features and thermal Comptonization.Joint fitting of the soft state spectra constrained the spin parameter of the black hole a_(*)>0.97 and the disk inclination angle i=32.9_(-0.6)^(+4.1)degrees.The bright and faint hard states had bolometric flux a factor of~6 and~10 less than that of the soft state respectively.Their spectra were fitted using the same model except that the inner disk radius was not assumed to be at the last stable orbit. However, the estimated values do not indicate large truncation radii and the inferred accretion rate in the disk was an order of magnitude lower than that of the soft state.Along with earlier reported temporal analysis,AstroS at data provide a comprehensive picture of the evolution of the source. | Gitika Mall Jithesh Vadakkumthani Ranjeev Misra | 2023 | Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2023,23,1: | 0 |
| 17 | Co-positivity of anti-dengue virus and anti-Japanese encephalitis virus IgM in endemic area:co-infection or cross reactivity?显示文摘Objective:To report high co-positivity of anti-dengue virus(DV)and anti-Japanese encephalitis virus(JEV)IgM in an area endemic for both the viruses and to discuss the possibilities of coinfection. Methods:Serum samples from the patients who presented with fever, suspected central nervous system infection and thrombocytopenia, were tested for anti-DV IgM and antiJEV IgM antibodies.Conventional reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction was done for detection of DV RNA and JEV RNA.Results:Of 1 410 patient sera tested for anti-DV and antiJEV antibodies,129(9.14%)were co-positive for both. This co-positivity was observed only in those months when anli-JEV IgM positivily was high.Tilers of both anli-DV IgM and anti-JEV IgM were high in most of the co-positive eases.Among these 129 co-positive cases,76 were lesled by conventional reverse Iranscriplase polymerase chain reaction for both flaviviruses,of which eight cases were co-positive for DV and JEV.Conclusions:Co-infection with more than one fluvivirus species can occur in hyperendemic areas. | Kaleshwar Prasad Singh Gitika Mishra Parul Jain Nidhi Pandey Rachna Nagar Shikha Gupta Shantanu Prakash Om Prakash Danish Nasar Khan Sakshi Shrivastav Desh Deepak Singh Amita Jain | 2014 | Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2014,7,2: | 0 |
