1Optimization of the fully grouted rock bolts for load transfer enhancement显示文摘The purpose of this study is to investigate the role of bolt profile configuration in load transfer capacity between the bolt and grout.Therefore,five types of rock bolts are used with different profiles.The rock bolts are modeled by ANSYS software.Models show that profile rock bolt T_3 and T_ with load capacity 180 and 195 kN in the jointed rocks,are the optimum profiles.Finally,the performances of the selected profiles are examined in Tabas Coal Mine by FLAC software.There is good subscription between the results of numerical modeling and instrumentation reading such as tells tale,sonic extensometer and strain gauge rock bolt.According to the finding of this study,the proposed pattern of rock bolts,on 7 + 6 patterns per meter with 2 flexi bolt(4 m) for support gate road.Ghadimi Mostafa Shahriar Korosh Jalalifar Hossein 2015International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2015,25,5:8
2A new analytical solution for calculation the displacement and shear stress of fully grouted rock bolts and numerical verifications显示文摘In presence of difficult conditions in coal mining roadways, an adequate stabilization of the excavation boundary is required to ensure a safe progress of the construction. The stabilization of the roadways can be improved by fully grouted rock bolt, offering properties optimal to the purpose and versatility in use. Investigations of load transfer between the bolt and grout indicate that the bolt profile shape and spacing play an important role in improving the shear strength between the bolt and the surrounding strata. This study proposes a new analytical solution for calculation displacement and shear stress in a fully encapsulated rock bolt in jointed rocks. The main characteristics of the analytical solution consider the bolt profile and jump plane under pull test conditions. The performance of the proposed analytical solution, for three types of different bolt profile configurations, is validated by ANSYS software. The results show there is a good agreement between analytical and numerical methods. Studies indicate that the rate of displacement and shear stress from the bolt to the rock exponentially decayed. This exponential reduction in displacement and shear stress are dependent on the bolt characteristics such as: rib height, rib spacing, rib width and grout thickness, material and joint properties.Ghadimi Mostafa Shariar Koroush Jalalifar Hossein 2016International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2016,26,6:7

4Analysis profile of the fully grouted rock bolt in jointed rock using analytical and numerical methods显示文摘The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of bolt profile on load transfer mechanism of fully grouted bolts in jointed rocks using analytical and numerical methods. Based on the analytical method with development of methods, a new model is presented. To validate the analytical model, five different profiles modeled by ANSYS software. The profile of rock bolts T3 and T4with load transfer capacity,respectively 180 and 195 kN in the jointed rocks was selected as the optimum profiles. Finally, the selected profiles were examined in Tabas Coal Mine. 5MicroRNA in rectal cancer显示文摘In rectal cancer,one of the most common cancers worldwide,the proper staging of the disease determines the subsequent therapy.For those with locally advancedrectal cancer,a neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy(CRT) is recommended before any surgery.However,response to CRT ranges from complete response(responders) to complete resistance(non-responders).To date we are not able to separate in advance the first group from the second,due to the absence of a valid biomarker.Therefore all patients receive the same therapy regardless of whether they reap benefits.On the other hand almost all patients receive a surgical resection after the CRT,although a watch-and-wait procedure or an endoscopic resection might be sufficient for those who responded well to the CRT.Being highly conserved regulators of gene expression,micro RNAs(mi RNAs) seem to be promising candidates for biomarkers.Many studies have been analyzing the mi RNAs expressed in rectal cancer tissue to determine a specific mi RNA profile for the ailment.Unfortunately,there is only a small overlap of identified mi RNAs between different studies,posing the question as to whether different methods or differences in tissue storage may contribute to that fact or if the results simply are not reproducible,due to unknown factors with undetected influences on mi RNA expression.Other studies sought to find mi RNAs which correlate to clinical parameters(tumor grade,nodal stage,metastasis,survival) and therapy response.Although several mi RNAs seem to have an impact on the response to CRT or might predict nodal stage,there is still only little overlap between different studies.We here aimed to summarize the current literature on rectal cancer and mi RNA expression with respect to the different relevant clinical parameters.azadeh azizian jens gruber b michael ghadimi jochen gaedcke 2016World Journal of Gastrointestinal Oncology2016,8,5:3

7Hepatocellular carcinoma: Surgeon's view on latest findings and future perspectives显示文摘Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) is the most common liver-derived malignancy with a high fatality rate. Risk factors for the development of HCC have been identified and are clearly described. However, due to the lack of tumor-specific symptoms, HCC are diagnosed at progressed tumor stages in most patients, and thus curative therapeutic options are limited. The focus of this review is on surgical therapeutic options which can be offered to patients with HCC with special regard to recent findings, not exclusively focused on surgical therapy, but also to other treatment modalities. 8Numerical Analysis of the High Skew Propeller of an Underwater Vehicle显示文摘A numerical analysis based on the boundary element method (BEM) was presented for the hydrodynamic performance of a high skew propeller (HSP) which is employed by an underwater vehicle (UV). Since UVs operate at two different working conditions (surface and submerged conditions), the design of such a propeller is a cumbersome task. This is primarily due to the fact that the resistance forces as well as the vessel efficiency under these conditions are significantly different. Therefore, some factors are necessary for the design of the optimum propeller to utilize the power at the mentioned conditions. The design objectives of the optimum propeller are to obtain the highest possible thrust, minimum torque, and efficiency. In the current study, a 5-bladed HSP was chosen for running the UV. This propeller operated at the stern of the UV hull where the inflow velocity to the propeller was non-uniform. Some parameters of the propeller were predicted based on the UV geometrical hull and operating conditions. The computed results include the pressure distribution and the hydrodynamic characteristics of the HSP in open water conditions, and comparison of these results with those of the experimental data indicates good agreement. The propeller efficiency for both submerged and surface conditions was found to be 67% and 64%, respectively, which compared to conventional propellers is a significantly higher efficiency.Hassan Ghasseni Parviz Ghadimi 2011Journal of Marine Science and Application2011,10,3:2

11Developing a Computer Program for Detailed Study of Planing Hull's Spray Based on Morabito's Approach显示文摘Recently, Morabito(2010) has studied the water spray phenomena in planing hulls and presented new analytical equations. However, these equations have not been used for detailed parametric studies of water spray around planing hulls. In this paper, a straight forward analysis is conducted to apply these analytical equations for finding the spray geometry profile by developing a computer program based on presented computational process. The obtained results of the developed computer program are compared against existing data in the literature and favorable accuracy is achieved. Parametric studies have been conducted for different physical parameters. Positions of spray apex are computed and three dimensional profiles of spray are examined. It is concluded that spray height increases by an increase in the speed coefficient or the deadrise angle. Ultimately, a computational process is added to Savitsky's method and variations of spray apex are computed for different velocities. It is shown that vertical, lateral, and longitudinal positions of spray increase as the craft speed increases. On the other hand, two new angles are defined in top view and it is concluded that they have direct relation with the trim angle.
