2Modified Dachengqi Tang improves decreased gastrointestinal motility in postoperative esophageal cancer patients显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the clinical effects of modified Dachengqi Tang(DCQT) on promoting gastrointestinal motility in post-operative esophageal cancer patients.METHODS:Sixty postoperative esophageal cancer patients were enrolled and randomly assigned to the modified treatment group or the control group(30 patients in each group).Patients in the treatment group were given DCQT made from decocted herbs and administered via nasojejunal tube at a dosage of 150 mL.Gastrointestinal motility was assessed by recording time for recovery of bowel sounds,flatus,defecation,and the total amount of gastric drainage during the first three postoperative days.Plasma motilin(MTL) and vasoactive intestinal peptide(VIP) were measured one hour before and three days after surgery.RESULTS:Compared with the control group,the times to first bowel sound,flatus,and defecation were significantly shorter and there was less gastric drainage in the treatment group(P < 0.01,P < 0.01,P < 0.01,and P < 0.05,respectively).In the treatment group,postoperative plasma MTL was significantly higher(P < 0.01) and VIP was significantly lower than those in the control group(P < 0.05).There was no difference found in either MTL or VIP from before to after operation in the treatment group(P > 0.05).MTL was significantly lower and VIP was higher postoperatively in the control group,compared to before surgery(P < 0.01).CONCLUSION:Modified DCQT effectively improved decreased gastrointestinal motility in postoperative esophageal cancer patients by increasing MTL and reducing VIP.Xu Zejun Xu Cuiping Ge Hongxia Li Yan Chu Liangliang Zhang Jie Cheng Kelin 2015Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2015,35,3:5
3Marine hydrographic spatial-variability and its cause at the northern margin of the Amery Ice Shelf显示文摘Conductivity,temperature and depth(CTD) data collected along a zonal hydrographic section from the northern margin of the Amery Ice Shelf on 25-27 February 2008 by the 24th Chinese National Antarctic Research Expedition (CHINARE) cruise in the 2007/2008 austral summer are analyzed to study thermohaline structures.Analysis reveals warm subsurface water in a limited area around the east end of the northern margin,where the temperature,salinity and density have east-west gradients in the surface layer of the hydrographic section.The localization of the warm subsurface water and the causes of the CTD gradients in the surface layer are discussed.In addition,the results from these CTD data analyses are compared with those from the 22nd CHINARE cruise in the 2005/2006 austral summer.This comparison revealed that the thermoclines and haloclines had deepened and their strengths weakened in the 2007/2008 austral summer.The difference between the two data sets and the cause for it can be reasonably explained and attributed to the change in ocean-ice-atmosphere interactions at the northern margin of the Amery Ice Shelf.GE RenFeng DONG ZhaoQian CHEN HongXia LIU Na SHI JiuXing PU ShuZhen 2011Advances in Polar Science2011,22,2:3

6Misperception and pro-environmental behaviors of the Chinese public toward air pollution显示文摘This study analyzes the misperceptions of the Chinese public about air pollution levels and other potential predictors of participation in pro-environmental behaviors based on the 2013 Chinese General Social Survey(CGSS).In this paper,misperception is defined as the difference between subjective perceptions of air pollution and measurements through objective monitoring.We find that pessimistic respondents are more likely to participate in pro-environmental behaviors.The media use and evaluation of the environmental performance of the local government significantly stimulate pro-environmental participation.The results reveal that knowledge and concern about the environment can mitigate the negative effect of optimistic bias on pro-environmental behaviors.In regions where environmental information is widely available,environmental pessimists are especially more likely to participate in such activities.This finding suggests that the government should provide not only accurate information about environmental pollution but also relevant education to enhance the environmental awareness of the public and stimulate pro-environmental participation.Xiuqin Wu Ge Wu Jinxiu Ding Ding Li Chin-Hsien Yu Hongxia Xu 2021Chinese Journal of Population,Resources and Environment2021,19,2:1

9EGFR signaling promotes nuclear translocation of plasma membrane protein TSPAN8 to enhance tumor progression via STAT3-mediated transcription显示文摘TSPAN family of protei ns are gen erally con sidered to assemble as multimeric complexes on the plasma membra ne.Our previous work uncovered that TSPAN8 can translocate into the nucleus as a membrane-free form,a process that requires TSPAN8 palmitoylation and association with cholesterol to promote its extraction from the plasma membrane and subsequent binding with 14-3-30 and importin-p.However,what upstream signal(S)regulate(s)the nuclear translocation of TSPAN8,the potential function of TSPAN8 in the n ucleus,and the un derlying molecular mechanisms all remai n unclear.Here,we dem on strate that,epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)signaling induces TSPAN8 nuclear translocation by activating the kinase AKTZ which in turn directly phosphorylates TSPAN8 at Ser129,an event essential for its binding with 14-3-30 and importin B1.In the nucleus,phosphorylated TSPAN8 interacts with STAT3 to enhance its chromatin occupancy and therefore regulates transcription of downstream cancer-promoting genes,such as MYC,BCL2,MMP9,etc.The EGFR-AKT-TSPAN8-STAT3 axis was found to be hyperactivated in multiple human cancers,and associated with aggressive phe no type and dismal prog nosis.We further developed a humanized mono clonal antibody hT8Ab4 that specifically recognizes the large extracellular loop of TSPAN8(TSPAN8-LEL),thus being able to block the extract!on of TSPAN8 from the plasma membrane and consequently its nuclear localization.Importantly,both in vitro and in vivo studies demonstrated an antitumor effect of hT8Ab4.Collectively,we discovered an unconventional function of TSPAN8 and dissected the underlying molecular mechanisms,which not only showcase a new layer of biological complexity of traditional membrane proteins,but also shed light on TSPAN8 as a novel therapeutic target for refractory cancers.Xiaoqing Lu Liwei An Guangjian Fan Lijuan Zang Weiyi Huang Junjian Li Jun Liu Weiyu Ge Yuwei Huang Jingxuan Xu Shaoqian Du Tianhao Zhou Huijing Yin Li Yu Shi Jiao Hongxia Wang 2022Cell Research2022,32,4:1

12Enhanced photocatalytic ammonia oxidation activity and nitrogen selectivity over Ag/AgCl/N-TiO_(2) photocatalyst显示文摘The removal of ammonia(NH_(3))emitted from agricultural and industrial activities is of great significance to protect human health and ecological environment.Photocatalytic NH_(3)oxidation to N2under mild conditions is a promising strategy.However,developing visible light photocatalysts for NH_(3)oxidation is still in its infancy.Here,we fabricate N-TiO_(2)and Ag/AgCl/N-TiO_(2)photocatalysts by sol-gel and photodeposition methods,respectively.The introduction of N not only endows TiO_(2)with visible light response(absorption edge at460 nm)but also results in the formation of heterophase junction(anatase and rutile).Thus,N-TiO_(2)shows 2.0 and 1.8 times higher than those over anatase TiO_(2)and commercial TiO_(2)for NH_(3)oxidation under full spectrum irradiation.Meanwhile,surface modification of Ag can simultaneously enhance visible light absorption(generating localized surface plasmon resonance effect)and charge separation efficiency.Therefore,the photocatalytic activity of Ag/AgCl/N-TiO_(2)is further improved.Furthermore,the presence of N and Ag also enhances the selectivity of N2product owing to the change of reaction pathway.This work simultaneously regulates photocatalytic conversion efficiency and product selectivity,providing some guidance for developing highly efficient photocatalysts for NH_(3)elimination.Jiaojiao Guan Daorong Li Jiahui Feng Peng Xu Zhaonian Li Siqi Ge Hongxia Chen Kunfeng Zhang 2024Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,4:0
13Key elements and checklist of shared decisionmaking conversation on life-sustaining treatment in emergency:a multispecialty study from China显示文摘BACKGROUND:Shared decision-making(SDM)has broad application in emergencies.Most published studies have focused on SDM for a certain disease or expert opinions on future research gaps without revealing the full picture or detailed guidance for clinical practice.This study is to investigate the optimal application of SDM to guide life-sustaining treatment(LST)in emergencies.METHODS:This study was a prospective two-round Delphi consensus-seeking survey among multiple stakeholders at the China Consortium of Elite Teaching Hospitals for Residency Education.Participants were identified based on their expertise in medicine,law,administration,medical education,or patient advocacy.All individual items and questions in the questionnaire were scored using a 5-point Likert scale,with responses ranging from'very unimportant'(a score of 1)to'extremely important'(a score of 5).The percentages of the responses that had scores of 4-5on the 5-point Likert scale were calculated.A Kendall’s W coefficient was calculated to evaluate the consensus of experts.RESULTS:A two-level framework consisting of 4 domains and 22 items as well as a ready-touse checklist for the informed consent process for LST was established.An acceptable Kendall’s W coefficient was achieved.CONCLUSION:A consensus-based framework supporting SDM during LST in an emergency department can inform the implementation of guidelines for clinical interventions,research studies,medical education,and policy initiatives.Shu Li Jing Xie Ziyi Chen Jie Yan Yuliang Zhao Yali Cong Bin Zhao Hua Zhang Hongxia Ge Qingbian Ma Ning Shen 2023World Journal of Emergency Medicine2023,14,5:0
14Risk Evaluation of Ammonia Leakage based on Modified Probability Calculation Formulas显示文摘Due to its flammable,explosive,and corrosive characteristics,fire,and explosion accidents caused by ammonia leakage occur from time to time.In this work,the concentration distribution of the model was calculated according to the existing formula of probabilistic risk assessment.Using the revised formulas,the leakage of the ammonia room was quantitatively analyzed,and different state parameters were analyzed to find out the dangerous leakage points of the ammonia refrigeration system.The results of the calculation are that the existence of obstacles in the space will increase the probability of leakage risk.And the greater the leakage time to the lower flammability limit accounts for the total leakage time,the greater the risk probability.Dangerous leakage in ammonia systems mainly occurs in storage tanks and condensers.The data show that the dynamic mass flow of ammonia leakage decreases with time,and the leakage diameter increases with the increase of leakage pressure.At the same time,the leakage mass increases gradually with the leakage aperture near circular.GE Yingying YANG Zhao HE Hongxia WU Xiaokun CHEN Yubo LV Zijian ZHANG Yong 2023Journal of Thermal Science2023,32,2:0

16DFT study on nonlinear optical properties of lithium-doped corannulene显示文摘The effects of lithium doping on the nonlinear optical properties of new electrodes (lithium-doped corannulene) were investigated in detail. Nine dynamically stable geometries of Lin-C20H10 (n=1, 2) are predicted by B3LYP/6-31G(d,p). 17Short-term inbound rail transit passenger flow prediction based on BILSTM model and influence factor analysis显示文摘Accurate and real-time passenger flow prediction of rail transit is an important part of intelligent transportation systems(ITS).According to previous studies,it is found that the prediction effect of a single model is not good for datasets with large changes in passenger flow characteristics and the deep learning model with added influencing factors has better prediction accuracy.In order to provide persuasive passenger flow forecast data for ITS,a deep learning model considering the influencing factors is proposed in this paper.In view of the lack of objective analysis on the selection of influencing factors by predecessors,this paper uses analytic hierarchy processes(AHP)and one-way ANOVA analysis to scientifically select the factor of time characteristics,which classifies and gives weight to the hourly passenger flow through Duncan test.Then,combining the time weight,BILSTM based model considering the hourly travel characteristics factors is proposed.The model performance is verified through the inbound passenger flow of Ningbo rail transit.The proposed model is compared with many current mainstream deep learning algorithms,the effectiveness of the BILSTM model considering influencing factors is validated.Through comparison and analysis with various evaluation indicators and other deep learning models,the results show that the R2 score of the BILSTM model considering influencing factors reaches 0.968,and the MAE value of the BILSTM model without adding influencing factors decreases by 45.61%.Qianru Qi Rongjun Cheng Hongxia Ge 2023Digital Transportation and Safety2023,2,1:0
