| 2 | Recursive algorithm and accurate computation of dyadic Green's functions for stratified uniaxial anisotropic media显示文摘A recursive algorithm is adopted for the computation of dyadic Green's functions in three-dimensional stratified uniaxial anisotropic media with arbitrary number of layers. Three linear equation groups for computing the coefficients of the Som- merfeld integrals are obtained according to the continuity condition of electric and magnetic fields across the interface between different layers, which are in corre- spondence with the TM wave produced by a vertical unit electric dipole and the TE or TM wave produced by a horizontal unit electric dipole, respectively. All the linear equation groups can be solved via the recursive algorithm. The dyadic Green's functions with source point and field point being in any layer can be conveniently obtained by merely changing the position of the elements within the source term of the linear equation groups. The problem of singularities occurring in the Sommer- feld integrals is efficiently solved by deforming the integration path in the complex plane. The expression of the dyadic Green's functions provided by this paper is terse in form and is easy to be programmed, and it does not overflow. | 5 | Multi-scale object detection by top-down and bottom-up feature pyramid network显示文摘While moving ahead with the object detection technology, especially deep neural networks, many related tasks, such as medical application and industrial automation, have achieved great success. However, the detection of objects with multiple aspect ratios and scales is still a key problem. This paper proposes a top-down and bottom-up feature pyramid network(TDBU-FPN),which combines multi-scale feature representation and anchor generation at multiple aspect ratios. First, in order to build the multi-scale feature map, this paper puts a number of fully convolutional layers after the backbone. Second, to link neighboring feature maps, top-down and bottom-up flows are adopted to introduce context information via top-down flow and supplement suboriginal information via bottom-up flow. The top-down flow refers to the deconvolution procedure, and the bottom-up flow refers to the pooling procedure. Third, the problem of adapting different object aspect ratios is tackled via many anchor shapes with different aspect ratios on each multi-scale feature map. | 8 | Characteristics of CO_2 sequestration in saline aquifers显示文摘Storage of CO2 in saline aquifers is a viable option for reducing the amount of CO2 released to the atmosphere. This paper provides an overall review of CO2 sequestration in saline aquifers. First,the principles of CO2 sequestration are presented,including CO2 phase behavior,CO2-water-rock interaction,and CO2 trapping mechanisms. Then storage capacity and CO2 injectivity are discussed as the main determinants of the storage potential of saline aquifers. Next,a site section process is addressed considering basin characteristics,reservoir characteristics,and economic and social concerns. Three main procedures are then presented to investigate the suitability of a site for CO2 sequestration,including site screening,detailed site characterization,and pilot fi eld-scale test. The methods for these procedures are also presented,such as traditional site characterization methods,laboratory experiments,and numerical simulation. | 13 | Influence of strong preformed particle gels on low permeable formations in mature reservoirs显示文摘In mature reservoirs,the success of preformed particle gel(PPG) treatment rests primarily on the ability of the PPG to reduce and/or plug the high permeable formations,but not damage the low permeable formations.Static test models(filtration test model and pressure test model)were used to determine the effect of PPG on low permeable formations.This work used a strong preformed particle gel,Daqing(DQ) gel made by a Chinese company.The particle gel sizes were ranged from 30 to 120 mesh for this work.PPGs are sized in a millimeter or micrometer,which can absorb over a hundred times their weight in liquids.The gel strength was approximately 6500 Pa for a completely swollen PPG with 1 %(weight percentage) NaCl solution(brine).0.05 %,1 %,and 10 % NaCl solutions were used in experiments.Sandstone core permeability was measured before and after PPG treatments.The relationship between cumulative filtration volumes versus filtration times was determined.The results indicate that DQ gels of a particle size of 30–80 mesh did not damage the cores of a low permeability of 3–25 m D.The DQ gels of a smaller particle size ranging from 100 to 120 mesh damaged the core and a cake was formed on the core surface.The results also indicate that more damage occurred when a high load pressure(400 psi) was applied on the high permeability cores(290–310 m D).The penetration of the particle gelsinto the low permeable formations can be decreased by the best selection of gel types,particle sizes,and brine concentrations. | Mahmoud O.Elsharafi Baojun Bai | 2016 | Petroleum Science2016,13,1: | 7 |

The re-sults demonstrate that the large-scale periodic phase-states of CVS are correlated with the signal composition of the quasi-periodic wavelet sequence constructing from horizontal moveout of seismic events,noise strength and the noise distortion de-gree to signal. For the same kind of events,the higher the noise distortion degree is,the lower the detectable SNR can be reached by CVS. For seismic data with the same noise distortion degree,the closer the scanning seismic velocity (the trial moveout ve-locity) approaches to the accurate velocity,the higher the detectable SNR can be reached by CVS. Treatment consists of orthopedic and surgical intervention to minimize deformities and for cosmetic purpose. However, many nude mice suffer from autoimmune diseases (AID) for over 10 weeks after xenogeneic thymus transplantation. CD4+CD25+Foxp3+ regulatory T (Treg) cells were recently determined to play a pivotal role in keeping immune tolerance in humans and mice. Thus, we investigated this subpopulation of Treg cells in the periphery of pig thymus-grafted nude mice suffering from AID. Our results showed that the expression of Foxp3, CTLA-4 and GITR on mouse CD4+CD25+ T cells and the ratio of CD4+CD25+Foxp3+ Treg cells to CD4+ T cells were significantly decreased in the periphery of pig thymus-grafted nude mice suffering from AID, compared with healthy pig or mouse thymus-grafted nude mice. Furthermore, mouse CD4+CD25+ T cells in pig thymus-grafted nude mice suffering from AID showed more severe deficiency in immunosuppressive function compared with the counterpart in xenogeneic pig or syngeneic thymus-grafted nude mice without AID. | 20 | Analysis of the ore-controlling structure of the Shihu gold deposit, Hebei Province and deep-seated ore-prospecting prediction显示文摘Under the guidance of the theory of mantle-branch structure-associated metallogenesis and on the basis of the geological characteristics, analysis of the ore-forming and ore-controlling structures, the geochemical characteristics of metallogenesis, the source of ore-forming materials, changes in the physical and chemical conditions of metallogenesis, changes in the vertical width of ore veins, and changes in gold grade of the Shihu gold deposit, the mechanism of its metallogenesis was discussed and the rules of vertical variation of ore veins were summarized in this study. It is pointed out that the orebodies under exploitation at present time should be in the middle and upper portions of gold veins in the Shihu gold mining district. Particularly on the basis of the characteristics of mantle-branch structure-associated metallogenesis, it is indicated that metallogenesis is controlled mainly by such ore-forming conditions as temperature and pressure. Deep-seated ore-forming fluids are characterized mainly by injection and precipitation. So the vein bodies in the adjacent metallogenic structures are of obvious comparability, and there would be great prospects for ore search both at depth and in the periphery of the Shihu gold deposit.
