2Effects of Brassinosteroid Associated with Auxin and Gibberellin on Apple Tree Growth and Gene Expression Patterns显示文摘Brassinosteroid is an important hormone that interacts with auxin and gibberellin to regulate plant growth and development. However,there is currently a relative lack of information regarding brassinosteroid in apple. Previous study confirmed that exogenous brassinosteroid treatments increased growth and endogenous brassinosteroid, auxin, as well as gibberellin levels of apple nursery trees. Here we succeeded to find that exogenous brassinosteroid treatments upregulated the transcript expression of auxin biosynthesis, transport, and positive signal transduction genes as well as gibberellin biosynthesis genes. In contrast, the application of exogenous brassinosteroid downregulated the expression of genes encoding negative regulators of auxin and gibberellin signal transductions. Rapid responses of several brassinosteroid-,auxin-, and gibberellin-related genes to the brassinosteroid and brassinazole treatments inferred the crosstalk of BR and IAA or GA. Furthermore,the expression levels of cell growth-related genes were also enhanced by exogenous brassinosteroid. Auxin and gibberellin treatments also influenced growth of apple tree and enhanced the expression of brassinosteroid-and cell growth-related genes. These results indicate that the growth of apple tree is regulated by the interaction between brassinosteroid, auxin, and gibberellin. 3Energy-Optimal Braking Control Using a Double-Layer Scheme for Trajectory Planning and Tracking of Connected Electric Vehicles显示文摘Most researches focus on the regenerative braking system design in vehicle components control and braking torque distribution,few combine the connected vehicle technologies into braking velocity planning.If the braking intention is accessed by the vehicle-to-everything communication,the electric vehicles(EVs)could plan the braking velocity for recovering more vehicle kinetic energy.Therefore,this paper presents an energy-optimal braking strategy(EOBS)to improve the energy efficiency of EVs with the consideration of shared braking intention.First,a double-layer control scheme is formulated.In the upper-layer,an energy-optimal braking problem with accessed braking intention is formulated and solved by the distance-based dynamic programming algorithm,which could derive the energy-optimal braking trajectory.In the lower-layer,the nonlinear time-varying vehicle longitudinal dynamics is transformed to the linear time-varying system,then an efficient model predictive controller is designed and solved by quadratic programming algorithm to track the original energy-optimal braking trajectory while ensuring braking comfort and safety.Several simulations are conducted by jointing MATLAB and CarSim,the results demonstrated the proposed EOBS achieves prominent regeneration energy improvement than the regular constant deceleration braking strategy.Finally,the energy-optimal braking mechanism of EVs is investigated based on the analysis of braking deceleration,battery charging power,and motor efficiency,which could be a guide to real-time control.Haoxuan Dong Weichao Zhuang Guodong Yin Liwei Xu Yan Wang Fa’an Wang Yanbo Lu 2021Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2021,34,5:3
4Effect of active species in crude oil on the interfacial tension behavior of alkali/synthetic surfactants/crude oil systems显示文摘The effect of active species present in crude oil on the interfacial tension(IFT)behavior of alkali/synthetic surfactants/crude oil systems was studied.The system consisted of heavy alkyl benzene sulfonate,sodium chloride,sodium hydrate and Daqing crude oil.Experimental results indicated that active species would diffuse from oil/aqueous interface to aqueous phase and finally an equilibrium could be reached in the system with increasing contact time.Moreover,the minimum IFT and equilibrium IFT values increased with increasing contact time and a linear relationship existed between dynamic IFT and t-1/2 when IFT value approaching the minimum and after the minimum IFT was reached.This indicated that the dynamic IFT-time behavior was diffusion controlled.The oil and aqueous phases were analyzed by infrared(IR)spectroscopy.IR spectra of oil and aqueous phases illustrated that the content of active species in the oil phase decreased,but the content of active species in the aqueous phase increased after alkali reacted with crude oil.This indicated that the active species present in oil played an important role in reducing IFT.Liu Liwei Hou Jirui Yue Xiang'an Zhao Ji 2008Petroleum Science2008,5,4:2
5Genome-wide Identification and Expression Analysis of Half-size ABCG Genes in Malus × domestica显示文摘Half-size adenosine triphosphate-binding cassette transporter subgroup G(ABCG) genes play crucial roles in regulating the movements of a variety of substrates and have been well studied in several plants. However, half-size ABCGs have not been characterized in detail in apple(Malus × domestica Borkh.). Here, we performed a genome-wide identification and expression analysis of the half-size ABCG gene family in apple.A total of 46 apple half-size ABCGs were identified and divided into six clusters according to the phylogenetic analysis. A gene structural analysis showed that most half-size ABCGs in the same cluster shared a similar exon–intron organization. A gene duplication analysis showed that segmental, tandem and whole-genome duplications could account for the expansion of half-size ABCG transporters in M. domestica. Moreover, a promoter scan, digital expression analysis and RNA-seq revealed that Md ABCG21 may be involved in root's cytokinin transport and that ABCG17 may be involved in the lateral bud development of M. spectabilis ‘Bly114’ by mediating cytokinin transport. 13A YAP/TAZ-CD54 axis is required for CXCR2-CD44-tumor-specific neutrophils to suppress gastric cancer显示文摘As an important part of tumor microenvironment,neutrophils are poorly understood due to their spatiotemporal heterogeneity in tumorigenesis.Here we defined,at single-cell resolution,CD44-CxCR2-neutrophils as tumor-specific neutrophils(tsNeus)in both mouse and human gastric cancer(GC).We uncovered a Hippo regulon in neutrophils with unique YAP signature genes(e.g.,ICAM1,CD14,EGR1)distinct from those identified in epithelial and/or cancer cells.Importantly,knockout of YAP/TAz in neutrophils impaired their differentiation into CD54+tsNeus and reduced their antitumor activity,leading to accelerated GC progression.Moreover,the relative amounts of CD54+tsNeus were found to be negatively associated with GC progression and positively associated with patient survival.Interestingly,GC patients receiving neoadjuvant chemotherapy had increased numbers of CD54+tsNeus.Furthermore,pharmacologically enhancing YAP activity selectively activated neutrophils to suppress refractory GC,with no significant inflammation-related side effects.Thus,our work characterized tumor-specific neutrophils in GC and revealed an essential role of YAP/TAZ-CD54 axis in tsNeus,opening a new possibility to develop neutrophil-based antitumor therapeutics.Pingping Nie Weihong Zhang Yan Meng Moubin Lin Fenghua Guo Hui Zhang Zhenzhu Tong Meng Wang Fan Chen Liwei An Yang Tang Yi Han Ruixian Yu Wenjia Wang Yuanzhi Xu Linxin Wei Zhaocai Zhou Shi Jiao 2023Protein & Cell2023,14,7:0

16Study on Working Pairs of Sorption Type Air Conditioner for Electric Vehicles under Different Temperature Zones显示文摘The air conditioning(AC) system of electric vehicles(EVs) consumes a large part of electricity of on-board batteries and influences the continue voyage course seriously. The feasibility of sorption type AC for EVs has been verified theoretically to decrease this part of energy consumption. However, the choice of optimal working pairs based on local working conditions is not considered before, which can realize not only high efficiency but also the steady and reliable operation. Thus in this paper, different solid sorption working pairs used in sorption type AC under different temperature zones are studied. We utilized Rubotherm balance test unit to study the sorption properties of various working pairs(halide-ammonia) and selected candidate working pairs by Clapeyron equation and energy analysis. Results show that MnCl2 is the only choice for cold temperate zone(CTZ) and CaCl2 is optimal for warm temperate zone(WTZ), while the mixed double halide(MnCl2 and CaCl2) is recommended in other zones. In middle temperate zone(MTZ), the probability for performance dropping down is relatively large, thus the ratio(CaCl2:Mn Cl2) is recommended as 0.33–1 to take advantage of the stability property of MnCl2. While in Qinghai-Tibet plateau cold area(QTPCA, the special temperature zone in China), the ratio is chosen as 2–3 because only under the limiting condition reaction [Ca(NH3)8]Cl2 (←→) [Ca(NH3)4]Cl2 +4NH3 is invalid. Because the continued high environmental temperature will increase the probability of limiting condition, ratio of subtropical zone(STZ) is still selected as 2–3 while that of tropical Zone(TZ) is 1–2. Taking WTZ under summer condition as example, by using sorption type AC with CaCl2 as sorbent, the increment voyage course(IVC) over the practical voyage course with conventional compression AC system(PVC) ranges from 9.4% to 37.7% for different type of EVs, i.e. the continue voyage course is increased effectively. 18Multi-stage ammonia production for sorption selective catalytic reduction of NO_(x)显示文摘Sorption selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides(NO_(x))(sorption-SCR)has ever been proposed for replacing commercial urea selective catalytic reduction of NO_(x)(urea-SCR),while only the single-stage sorption cycle is hitherto adopted for sorption-SCR.Herein,various multi-stage ammonia production cycles is built to solve the problem of relative high starting temperature with ammonia transfer(AT)unit and help detect the remaining ammonia in ammonia storage and delivery system(ASDS)with ammonia warning(AW)unit.Except for the singlestage ammonia production cycle with MnCl2,other sorption-SCR strategies all present overwhelming advantages over urea-SCR considering the much higher NO_(x) conversion driven by the heat source lower than 100℃ and better matching characteristics with low-temperature catalysts.Furthermore,the required mass of sorbent for each type of sorption-SCR is less than half of the mass of AdBlue for urea-SCR.Therefore,the multifunctional multi-stage sorption-SCR can realize compact and renewable ammonia storage and delivery with low thermal energy consumption and high NO_(x) conversion,which brings a bright potential for efficient commercial de-NO_(x) technology.Chen ZHANG Guoliang AN Liwei WANG Shaofei WU 2022Frontiers in Energy2022,16,5:0
