5Effect of Laser Power on the Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of TiN/Ti_3Al Composite Coatings on Ti6Al4V显示文摘Laser nitriding is one of the effective techniques to improve the surface properties of titanium alloys and has potential application in the life extension of last-stage steam turbine blades. However, cracking of surface coating is a common problem due to heat concentration in laser nitriding process. Conventionally, the cracks can be avoided through heat treatment, which may have an important influence on the mechanical properties of coating. Crack-free TiN/Ti3Al IMC coatings on Ti6Al4V are prepared by plasma spraying and laser nitriding. The microstructures, phase constitutes and compositions of the coating are observed and analyzed with scanning electron microscopy(SEM), X-ray diffraction(XRD) and X-ray energy-dispersive spectroscopy(EDS). Microhardness, elastic modulus, fracture toughness of the coating are measured. The results show that the crackand pore-free IMC coatings can be made through the proposed method; with increasing laser power, the amount and density of TiN phase in the coating first increased and then decreased, leading to the similar trend of microhardness and elastic modulus and the reverse trend of fracture toughness of the coating. Both the average microhardness and elastic modulus of the coating increase three times higher than those of the substrate. 6Fatigue Crack Initiation Potential from Defects in terms of Local Stress Analysis显示文摘The competition of surface and subsurface crack initiation induced failure is critical to understand very high cycle fatigue(VHCF)behavior,which necessitates the elucidation of the underlying mechanisms for the transition of crack initiation from surface to interior defects.Crack initiation potential in materials containing defects is investigated numerically by focusing on defect types,size,shape,location,and residual stress influences.Results show that the crack initiation potency is higher in case of serious property mismatching between matrix and defects,and higher strength materials are more sensitive to soft inclusions(elastic modulus lower than the matrix).The stress localization around inclusions are correlated to interior crack initiation mechanisms in the VHCF regime such as inclusion-matrix debonding at soft inclusions and inclusion-cracking for hard inclusions(elastic modulus higher than the matrix).It is easier to emanate cracks from the subsurface pores with the depth 0.7 times as large as their diameter.There exists an inclusion size independent region for crack incubation,outside which crack initiation will transfer from the subsurface soft inclusion to the interior larger one.As for elliptical inclusions,reducing the short-axis length can decrease the crack nucleation potential and promote the interior crack formation,whereas the long-axis length controls the site of peak stress concentration.The compressive residual stress at surface is helpful to shift crack initiation from surface to interior inclusions.Some relaxation of residual stress can not change the inherent crack initiation from interior inclusions in the VHCF regime.The work reveals the crack initiation potential and the transition among various defects under the influences of both intrinsic and extrinsic factors in the VHCF regime,and is helpful to understand the failure mechanism of materials containing defects under long-term cyclic loadings.ZHU Mingliang XUAN Fuzhen 2014Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2014,27,3:6
7Effectiveness of Catch-Up Vaccinations after COVID-19 Containment--China,2020显示文摘Introduction:In the early stages of the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)epidemic in China,the highest level of public health emergency response(Level 1 Response)was launched in all province-level administrative divisions(PLADs)across the country.Provision of vaccination services was selectively suspended due to the physical distancing and gathering restrictions required of Level 1 Response.The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the impact of COVID-19 on vaccination services and the effectiveness of selective vaccination service suspension and catch-up vaccinations in China.Methods:Vaccine doses administered,routine vaccination coverage levels,catch-up vaccine doses administered,and coverage levels after the catch-up campaign were determined from individual vaccination records in sampled clinics,standard routine immunization administrative coverage reports,and catch-up vaccination activity reports submitted by PLADs between October 2019 and October 2020.Results:National Immunization Program(NIP)and non-NIP vaccine doses administered in sampled clinics decreased by 80% and 90%,respectively,compared with doses administered before the COVID-19 pandemic.Coverage with the birth dose of hepatitis B vaccine(HepB1)and the Bacillus Calmette-Guérin vaccine(BCG)—two vaccinations recommended to continue throughout the epidemic due to their timecritical nature—were maintained at over 85%,while coverage of other NIP vaccines decreased to below 60%by February 2020.Catch-up vaccination coverage of the 29 PLADs,excluding Xinjiang and Xizang(Tibet),began in April 2020 and exceeded 90%;Hubei catch-up coverage was 95% by October 2020.Conclusions and Implications for Public Health Practice:The COVID-19 pandemic had a great impact on China’s vaccination services.During the epidemic and time of local transmission of the coronavirus,HepB1,BCG,rabies vaccine for postexposure prophylaxis,and tetanus antitoxin(TAT)for wound prophylaxis were maintained at high levels.Of the 69 million vaccine doses postponed during the time of local transmission of the coronavirus,94% were administered in the catch-up campaign.China’s pandemic immunization practices may provide evidence for other countries’immunization programs.Jing Wu Wenzhou Yu Lei Cao Lingsheng Cao Lance Rodewald Jiakai Ye Yifan Song Li Li Xiaoxue Liu Ning Wen Fuzhen Wang Lixin Hao Yixing Li Hui Zheng Keli Li Chao Ma Dan Wu Yanmin Liu Guomin Zhang Zhijie An Huaqing Wang Zundong Yin 2020China CDC weekly2020,2,50:6

10Inductive transfer learning for unlabeled target-domain via hybrid regularization显示文摘Recent years have witnessed an increasing interest in transfer learning. This paper deals with the classification problem that the target-domain with a different distribution from the source-domain is totally unlabeled, and aims to build an inductive model for unseen data. Firstly, we analyze the problem of class ratio drift in the previous work of transductive transfer learning, and propose to use a normalization method to move towards the desired class ratio. Furthermore, we develop a hybrid regularization framework for inductive transfer learning. It considers three factors, including the distribution geometry of the target-domain by manifold regularization, the entropy value of prediction probability by entropy regularization, and the class prior by expectation regularization. This framework is used to adapt the inductive model learnt from the source-domain to the target-domain. Finally, the experiments on the real-world text data show the effectiveness of our inductive method of transfer learning. 11Study on creep-fatigue damage evaluation for advanced 9%–12% chromium steels under stress controlled cycling显示文摘Creep-fatigue interaction is one of the main damage mechanisms in high temperature plants and their components. Assessment of creep-fatigue properties is of practical importance for design and operation of high temperature components. However, the standard evaluation techniques, i.e. time fraction rule and ductility exhaustion one have limitations in accounting for the effects of control mode on the cyclic deformations. It was found that conventional linear cumulative damage rule failed in accurately evaluating the creep-fatigue life under stress controlled condition. The calculated creep damages by time fraction rule were excessively high, which led to overly conservative prediction of failure lives. In the present study, it was suggested that such over estimation of creep damage was mainly caused by anelastic strain upon stress loading. For precise assessment under conditions of stress control, a modified creep damage model accounting for the effect of anelastic creep was proposed. The assessments of creep fatigue data under stress controlled condition were performed with the new approach developed in this paper for a rotor material and a boiler material used in ultra supercritical power plants. 12Effect of Applied Stresses on the Microstructure and Dissolution Behavior of Plasma Sprayed Wollastonite Coatings显示文摘Wollastonite coatings were deposited on the U-shape titanium alloy coupons by atmospheric plasma spraying.The effect of applied stresses on the microstructure and dissolution behavior of wollastonite coatings was investigated.The microstructure and composition of coatings were examined by scanning electron microscope(SEM)and electron diffraction spectroscopy(EDS).In addition,the dissolution behavior of coatings was evaluated by immersion in simulated body fluid(SBF).More apatite is observed on the surface of coatings under a tensile stress and a stress-free condition after immersion in the SBF solution,whereas almost no apatite can be found for the coatings under a compressive stress.The dissolution rate of coatings characterized by the pH changes and the ion concentration of Ca,Si and P in the SBF solution is lower under the compressive stress than those under a tensile stress or a stress-free condition.It can be concluded from the experimental results that the compressive stress inhibits the dissolution of wollastonite coatings and the formation of apatite,whereas a tensile stress enhances the two processes.Wang Weize Liang Jiachun Xuan Fuzhen Hong Huoxing 2012稀有金属材料与工程2012,41,S1:2
