2Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Pulse MIG Welded 6061/A356 Aluminum Alloy Dissimilar Butt Joints显示文摘The microstructure and mechanical properties of pulse metal inert-gas(MIG) welded dissimilar joints between 4 mm thick wrought 6061-T6 and cast A356-T6 aluminum alloy plates were investigated. The tensile strength of the joints reached 235 MPa, which is 83% of that of 6061 aluminum alloy, and then decreased with the increase of travel speed while keeping other welding parameters constant. The microstructure, composition and fractography of joints were examined by the optical microscopy(OM),scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and electron probe microanalysis(EPMA). Grain boundary liquation and segregation occurred in the partially melted zone(PMZ) on 6061 aluminum alloy side, and brittle Fe-rich phases were observed in partially melted zone on A356 aluminum alloy side. The minimum microhardness appeared in heat-affected zone(HAZ) near A356 aluminum alloy substrate. 8Resource types, formation, distribution and prospects of coal-measure gas显示文摘Coal-measure gas is the natural gas generated by coal, carbonaceous shale, and dark shale in coal-measure strata. It includes resources of continuous-type coalbed methane (CBM), shale gas and tight gas reservoirs, and trap-type coal-bearing gas reservoirs. Huge in resources, it is an important gas source in the natural gas industry. The formation and distribution characteristics of coal-measure gas in San Juan, Surat, West Siberia and Ordos basins are introduced in this paper. By reviewing the progress of exploration and development of coal-measure gas around the world, the coal-measure gas is confirmed as an important strategic option for gas supply. This understanding is mainly manifested in three aspects. First, globally, the Eurasian east-west coal-accumulation belt and North American north-south coal-accumulation belt are two major coal-accumulation areas in the world, and the Late Carboniferous–Permian, Jurassic and end of Late Cretaceous–Neogene are 3 main coal-accumulation periods. Second, continuous-type and trap-type are two main accumulation modes of coal-measure gas;it is proposed that the area with gas generation intensity of greater than 10×10^8 m^3/km^2 is essential for the formation of large coal-measure gas field, and the CBM generated by medium- to high-rank coal is usually enriched in syncline, while CBM generated by low-rank coal is likely to accumulate when the source rock and caprock are in good configuration. Third, it is predicted that coal-measure gas around the world has huge remaining resources, coal-measure gas outside source is concentrated in Central Asia-Russia, the United States, Canada and other countries/regions, while CBM inside source is largely concentrated in 12 countries. 9Nonlinear Dynamic Analysis and Fatigue Study of Steep Wave Risers Under Irregular Loads显示文摘As a reliable alternative option for traditional steel catenary risers(SCRs),steep wave risers(SWRs)have been widely applied to deepwater oil and gas production.However,the nonlinear dynamic analysis of SWRs is more complicated than that of traditional SCRs due to their special configuration and significant geometric nonlinearity.Moreover,SWRs are highly susceptible to fatigue failure under the combined excitation of irregular waves and top floater motions(TFMs).In this study,considering irregular waves and TFMs,a numerical SWR model with an internal flow is constructed based on the slender rod model and finite element method.The Newmark-βmethod is adopted to solve the dynamic behavior of SWR.Moreover,the Palmgren-Miner rule,a specified S-N curve,and rainflow counting method are applied to estimate the fatigue damage.An efficient numerical computation procedure,i.e.,DRSWR,is programmed with MATLAB in this study.Calculation results are compared with those of OrcaFlex to verify the accuracy of the DRSWR.The nonlinear dynamic response and fatigue damage of an SWR under the combined excitation of irregular waves and TFMs are obtained,and a comprehensive parametric analysis is then conducted.The analysis results show that the buoyancy section undergoes the highest level of stress and fatigue damage under the combined excitation of irregular waves and TFMs.An internal flow with high velocity and high density produces a high level of fatigue damage.The buoyancy factor and length of the buoyancy section should be set moderately to reconcile the reduction of the top tension with increased fatigue life.These results are expected to provide some reference significance for the engineering design of SWR.GU Honglu GUO Haiyan LI Xiaomin LI Fuheng LIU Zhen 2022Journal of Ocean University of China2022,21,3:0
10Large Storage Tank Structure Design Cases-Based Teaching in Teaching Reform for Major of Oil&Gas Storage and Transportation Engineering显示文摘As one of the compulsory courses of oil and gas storage and transportation engineering,“Strength Design and Safety Management of Storage and Transportation Facilities”is a comprehensive course of both practicality and theory.In order to solve the unbalanced distribution of theoretical and applied content in the teaching process,the teaching team reformed the teaching mode of the structure design of large storage tanks in the course of“Strength Design and Safety Management of Storage and Transportation Facilities”and introduced case-based teaching.On the basis of the original course,practical engineering case analysis such as wind-induced buckling of large storage tank and uneven settlement of tank foundation was added,which increased the proportion of application content.It is a new type of discussion teaching integrating case collection,group discussion and afterclass experience exchange.According to the recent three years of teaching practice,students’interest in this course has increased greatly and teaching quality has improved significantly,which fully verified the feasibility of engineering case-based teaching in teaching reform.The teaching team has gradually improved the teaching process according to the relevant experience and lessons in classroom practice and made a successful attempt in the teaching reform of storage and transportation structure safety courses,which is of positive significance for training application-oriented composite talents with the ability to solve practical problems in the new era.Yanfei Chen Heng Ni Hong Zhang Fuheng Hou 2021Journal of Educational Theory and Management2021,5,1:0

13Deformation and Stress Analysis of the Deepwater Steel Lazy Wave Riser Subjected to Internal Solitary Waves显示文摘The dynamic response of the steel lazy wave riser(SLWR)subjected to the internal solitary wave is a key to assessing its application feasibility.The innovation of this paper is to study the dynamic response properties of the SLWR with large deformation characteristics under internal wave excitation.A numerical scheme of the SLWR is constructed using the slender-rod theory,and the internal solitary wave(ISW)with a two-layer seawater model is simulated by the extended Korteweg-deVries equation.The finite element method combined with the Newmark-βmethod is applied to discretize the equations and update the time integration.The ISW excitation combined with vessel motion on the dynamic deformation and stress of the SLWR is investigated,and extensive simulations of the ISW parameters,including the interface depth ratio and density difference,are carried out.Case calculation reveals that the displacement of the riser in the lower interface layer increases significantly under the ISW excitation,and the stresses at a part of both ends grow evidently.Moreover,the mean value of riser responses under a combination of vessel motion and ISW coincides with the ISW-induced ones.Furthermore,the dynamic responses along the whole riser,including the displacement amplitudes,bending moment amplitudes,and stress amplitudes,almost increase with the increase in interface depth ratios and density differences.LI Fuheng GUO Haiyan GU Honglu LIU Zhen LI Xiaomin 2023Journal of Ocean University of China2023,22,2:0

15Study on Quantitative Character for Anatomy in Tomato Seedling Stem显示文摘The results of quantitative characters for anatomy in stems of three varieties tomatoes seedlings showed that the cell population between vascular bundle and epidermis, the cellular layers among vascular bundles and the cell population in an unit area (mm2) of no vascular bundle areas were similar and there had small difference among three varieties.
