| 1 | A Facile Recovery Process for Cathodes from Spent Lithium Iron Phosphate Batteries by Using Oxalic Acid显示文摘A simplistic and novel leaching process is developed to dispose spent lithium iron phosphate(LiFePO_(4))batteries.In this paper,oxalic acid is selected as a leaching reagent to recover lithium as a resource and remove phosphorus from LiFePO_(4) batteries,benefiting from its low natural effects.The physical properties of spent cathode materials(before leaching)and residues(after leaching)are identified by X-ray diffraction(XRD)and scanning electronic microscopy(SEM)with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS).The total amounts of Li and Fe are analyzed by inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectroscopy(ICP-AES).The process occurs under conditions of a 0.3 mol·L^(-1) oxalic acid concentration,a temperature of 80℃,a reaction time of 60 min and a solid/liquid ratio of 60 g·L^(-1).It can effectively precipitate92%ferrum in terms of FeC_(2)O_(4)·2H_(2)O from LiFePO4,with the leaching efficiency of Li achieving up to 98%.This method demonstrates a new strategy for dealing with spent lithium iron phosphate batteries with a low cost and low environmental impact. | Li Li Jun Lu Longyu Zhai Xiaoxiao Zhang Larry Curtiss Yi Jin Feng Wu Renjie Chen Khalil Amine | 2018 | CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2018,4,2: | 12 |

| 4 | Preparation and electrochemical properties of re-synthesized LiCoO_2 from spent lithium-ion batteries显示文摘A new idea for reuse of the cathode materials of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs) is investigated to develop an environmentally friend-ly process for recycling spent batteries.LiCoO2 is re-synthesized from spent LIBs by leaching and a sol-gel method calcined at high temperature.Thermogravimetric analysis(TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) are employed to study the re-actions occurring calcination that are responsible for the weight losses.X-ray diffraction(XRD) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM) are used to determine the structures of the LiCoO2 powders.It was found that a pure phase of LiCoO2 can be obtained by the re-synthesis process.Cyclic voltammetry(CV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS) are used to evaluate the electrochemical properties of the LiCoO2 powders.The discharge capacity of re-synthesized LiCoO2 is 137 mAh g-1 at the 0.1 C rate,and the capacity retention of the re-synthesized LiCoO2 is 97.98% after 20 cycles at the 0.1 C rate,and 88.14% after 40 cy-cles.The results indicate that the re-synthesized LiCoO2 displays good charge/discharge performance and cycling behavior. | LI Li CHEN RenJie ZHANG XiaoXiao WU Feng GE Jing XIE Man | 2012 | Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,32: | 4 |

| 6 | Disordered Translocation is Hastening Local Extinction of the Chinese Giant Salamander显示文摘Biodiversity is declining globally by an unprecedented extinction rate.This is especially true for amphibians,accounting for 24.3%of all threatened vertebrates.As the largest extant amphibian species in the world,wild populations of the Chinese giant salamander(Genus Andrias)(CGS)have decreased dramatically because of overexploitation and habitat degradation.Translocation has become an important strategy for restoring threatened wild populations worldwide.However,disordered tra nsloca tion usually has negative effects on the native populations.We provide an overview of CGS translocation and show that disordered translocation can increase local population extinction.Nearly four times the estimated number of wild individuals have been released across China.There a re three types of translocation used for CGS,namely,reinforcement,reintroduction and ecological replacement,the last of which accounts for over one-third of translocations.Our genetic screening revealed that most released individuals were not from local populations,with one to four lineages detected in every release site(n=6).This disordered translocation can potentially reduce the genetic integrity of original populations.Hence,we suggest suspending current CGS translocation activities immediately,until more robust measures can be developed and implemented to improve the current translocation program,especially with respect to lineage identifica tion a nd the identifica tion of appropriate release sites. | Guocheng SHU Ping LIU Tian ZHAO Cheng LI Yinmeng HOU Chunlin ZHAO Jie WANG Xiaoxiao SHU Jiang CHANG Jianping JIANG Feng XIE | 2021 | Asian Herpetological Research2021,12,3: | 4 |

| 8 | Sediment transport in the Luanhe River delta:grain size trend analysis显示文摘Sediment grain size in the deltaic environment of the Luanhe River(LR),Liaoning,China,contains sediment transport pathway information useful in elucidating the shoreline change and fluvialmarine interaction.In this study,we utilized numerical partitioning of the sedimentary components and geostatistical grain size trend analysis(GSTA)to define the sediment transport pattern in the Luanhe River delta(LRD)and interpolated the sediment transport pattern using content changes of end numbers(EM).EM1(the mean grain size 7.12Ф,fine silt),EM2(2.37Ф,fine sand),and EM3(1.27Ф,medium sand)components were identified by the numerical partitioning by GSTA.Kriging interpolation method was used to interpolate the parameters of the grain size for the regular grid,and the interpolation radius was 0.015 decimal degree.We chose 0.09 decimal degree as the characteristic distance for GSTA in the semivariogram model using the geostatistical method.The FB(-)case(finer,better sorted and more negatively skewed)was adopted in GSTA for its satisfaction in the Global Moran’s I test.The result of the GSTA shows that the sediments in the south barriers(SBs)were transported to the southwest of the study area.The sediments in the north,in the SE direction of sediment transport trend from the river mouth,indicated that the sediments in the north of the study area were transported from the LR to the northern beaches,and to the south and east of the study area.The sediment transport trend that simplified by GSTA as the FB(-)case was approved by the content changes of sedimentary components(i.e.EM1,EM2,and EM3).In addition,the turbulent jet diffusion pattern indicated that the coarse sediments(EM3)were delivered by LR during the flood season,and the EM2 and EM1 were from wave and tide,respectively. | YU Xiaoxiao LI Tiegang GU Dongqi FENG Aiping LIU Shihao LI Ping XU Guoqiang YAN Wenwen ZHANG Zhiwei ZHU Zhengtao | 2019 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2019,37,3: | 3 |

| 13 | Trends of Mortality in End-Stage Liver Disease—China,2008–2020显示文摘Introduction:Liver cancer and cirrhosis represent the most prevalent forms of end-stage liver diseases(ESLDs).Notably,in China,deaths attributed to ESLDs contribute significantly to the global mortality rate of these disorders.Enhanced comprehension of the mortality profile associated with ESLDs in China could provide crucial insights into intervention prioritization,which could in turn help reduce the overall global burden of these diseases.Methods:Data were obtained from China’s Disease Surveillance Points system.The presentation includes both crude and age-standardized mortality rates,stratified by sex,residential location,and region.Using Joinpoint Regression,trends in annual mortality rates were estimated from the period of 2008 to 2020 and expressed as the average annual percentage change(AAPC).Results:In 2020,the gross mortality rate of ESLD stood at 30.08 cases per 100,000 individuals.A higher age-standardized ESLD mortality rate was observed in males and rural populations in comparison to their female and urban counterparts,respectively.Noticeably,the highest mortality rates associated with liver cancer and cirrhosis were reported in South and Southwest China,respectively.A positive correlation was noticed between age-specific ESLD mortality rates and advancing age.Interestingly,an annual decrease in the ESLD mortality rate was observed from 2008 to 2020.In urban contexts,the AAPC of cirrhosis was noted to be higher than that of liver cancer.Conclusions:The mortality rate associated with ESLDs in China decreased between 2008 and 2020.Nevertheless,the death burden attributable to ESLD continues to be alarmingly high.Future initiatives should prioritize the reduction of ESLD mortality in particular populations:males,elderly individuals,and those residing in rural regions of South and Southwest China.The emphasis of future interventions should beplaced on antiviral therapy for adults diagnosed with viral hepatitis,and on the prevention of hepatitis B virus(HBV)infection across all demographics. | Xiaoxiao Wang Huixin Liu Jinlei Qi Fangfang Zeng Lijun Wang Peng Yin Feng Liu Hongbo Li Yunning Liu Jiangmei Liu Lai Wei Xiaofeng Liang Yu Wang Huiying Rao Maigeng Zhou | 2023 | China CDC weekly2023,5,30: | 1 |

After quasi-static tensile, the texture evolution of different strain was observed. It was shown that the Goss and Brass components increased within the strain range of less than 0.6. Whereas, the main components were decreased when the strain levels were greater than 0.6. This behavior was attributed to the low stacking fault energy(SFE) and was related to the strain energy of this high manganese steel. | 19 | The innovations in China’s primary health care reform: Development and characteristics of the community health services in Hangzhou显示文摘Objective:This study focuses on Hangzhou,a Chinese city with a population of nine million urban and rural residents,to examine the successful development and innovation experience of its primary health care service system during the new health reform in China since 2009 and then dis-seminate the findings through international third parties.Methods:Measures such as data analysis,study of documents and regulations,fieldwork,and expert discussions were used to systematically investigate primary health care in Hangzhou.The findings will have a profound practical impact on the health reform for nine million rural and urban residents throughout Hangzhou’s municipal boroughs.Results:Community health services in Hangzhou are characterized as follows:They are gov-ernment led;they are guaranteed with enough financing,personnel,facilities,and regulation;sup-ported by the unified information platform;general practitioners have been assigned the key role of health‘gatekeepers’;they provide primary care combined with basic public health services;there are integrated urban and rural health services and insurance coverage;and there is health care-pen-sion-nursing integration and general practitioner-contracted‘smart’services.Preliminary data collection and analysis indicate that the basic health status of Hangzhou residents is superior to that of residents of China as a whole,and some health indicators in Hangzhou are comparable to those in Western developed countries.Conclusion:It is reasonable to believe that the primary health care level in China,including Hangzhou,will be further developed and promoted with indexed performance evaluations and more effective implementation of additional measures. | Feng Lin Qihong Sun Zhangping Peng Jun Cai Philip Geanacopoulos Lin Li Yun Zhao Xin Zhang Xiaoxiao Chen | 2015 | Family Medicine and Community Health2015,3,3: | 1 |
