1Effects of electroacupuncture and Chinese kidney-nourishing medicine on polycystic ovary syndrome in obese patients显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To explore the effect of electroacupuncture and Chinese kidney-nourishing medicine on insulin (INS), adiponectin (APN), leptin (LEP), and glucolipid metabolism of obese patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). METHODS: Sixty-seven obese PCOS patients were randomly divided into two groups. Thirty-three patients in the acupuncture-medicine group were treated three times a week with electroacupuncture at the Tianshu (ST 25), Zhongwan (CV 12), Qihai (CV 6), Sanyinjiao (SP 6), Geshu (BL 17), and Cil-iao (BL 32) acupoints. They also took the Chinese drug, Tiankui capsule, for 3 months as a course of treatment. Point-taking and treatment in the electroacupuncture group of 34 patients was the same as those in the acupuncture-medicine group. We observed and compared the changes in the obesity-related indexes of body weight (BW), body mass index (BMI), and waist-hip ratio (WHR), as well as fasting plasma glucose (FPG), fasting insulin (FINS), APN, and LEP. RESULTS: BW, BMI, WHR, and FINS decreased and insulin sensitivity index (ISI) and APN were higher in the acupuncture-medicine group than in the electroacupuncture group (P<0.01). There was no obvious difference in LEP between the two groups (P>0.05). CONCLUSION: Acupuncture combined with medicine is better than just electroacupuncture for obese PCOS patients by improving obesity-related indexes, insulin sensitivity, and APN level. 2Distribution of stable carbon isotope in coalbed methane from the east margin of Ordos Basin显示文摘The commercial recovery of methane from coal is well established in the coalbed methane(CBM) blocks at the east margin of Ordos Basin, China. CBM forms with various carbon isotopic ratios(δ13CPDB) due to the carbon isotopic fractionation in biogenical or thermogenical processes. Based on the geologic evolution of coalbed reservoir and studies on the characteristics of δ13 CPDB values distributed spatially(e.g., horizontal CBM well location area, vertical coal burial zone, coal rank, etc.) and temporally(e.g., geologic evolution history), we explored the formation mechanism of carbon isotopic of methane. The relatively low δ13 CPDB values are widely distributed along the research area, indicating a trend of 'lighter-heavier-lighter' from north to south. From a combination analysis of the relationship between δ13 CPDB and the relative effects, the essential aspects in determining CBM carbon isotope being light in the study area are: the genesis of secondary biogas in the north; water soluble effects in the active hydrodynamic areas in the middle; desorption fractionation effect promoted by tectonic evolution in the south; and the sudden warming hydrocarbon fractionation accelerated by magmatic event in particular areas(e.g., Linxian).LI Yong TANG DaZhen FANG Yi XU Hao MENG YanJun 2014Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,8:6
3Temperature dependent Raman and photoluminescence of vertical WS2/MoS2 monolayer heterostructures显示文摘Heterostructures from two-dimensional transition-metal dichalcogenides MX_2 have emerged as a hot topic in recent years due to their various fascinating properties. Here, we investigated the temperature dependent Raman and photoluminescence(PL) spectra in vertical stacked WS_2/MoS_2 monolayer heterostructures. Our result shows that both E_(2g)~1 and A_(1g) modes of WS_2 and MoS_2 vary linearly with temperature increasing from 300 to 642 K. The PL measurement also reveals strong temperature dependencies of the PL intensity and peak position. The activation energy of the thermal quenching of the PL emission has been found to be equal to 69.6 meV. 4Atomistic Surface Passivation of CH_(3)NH_(3)PbI_(3) Perovskite Single Crystals for Highly Sensitive Coplanar-Structure X-Ray Detectors显示文摘Organic-inorganic halide perovskites(OIHPs)are recognized as the promising next-generation X-ray detection materials.However,the device performance is largely limited by the ion migration issue of OIHPs.Here,we reported a simple atomistic surface passivation strategy with methylammonium iodide(MAI)to remarkably increase the ion migration activation energy of CH_(3)NH_(3)PbI_(3)single crystals.The amount of MAI deposited on the crystal surface is finely regulated by a self-assemble process to effectively suppress the metallic lead defects,while not introducing extra mobile ions,which results in significantly improved dark current stability of the coplanar-structure devices under a large electric field of 100Vmm^(-1).The X-ray detectors hence exhibit a record-high sensitivity above 700,000μC Gy^(-1)_(air) cm^(-2)under continuum X-ray irradiation with energy up to 50 keV,which enables an ultralow X-ray detection limit down to 1.5 nGy_(air)s^(-1).Our findings will allow for the dramatically reduced X-ray exposure of human bodies in medical imaging applications.Yilong Song Liqi Li Weihui Bi Mingwei Hao Yifei Kang Anran Wang Zisheng Wang Hanming Li Xiaohui Li Yanjun Fang Deren Yang Qingfeng Dong 2020Research2020,,1:5
5Numerical determination for optimal location of sub-track asphalt layer in high-speed rails显示文摘Well-graded asphalt mix with the merits of high sound absorption, low water permeability, excellent strength, and easy construction is an important option for high-speed railway substructures. On the basis of finite element method, a model with conventional ballasted trackbed (T0) and four ballasted trackbeds models with different positions of asphalt layer were analyzed, in which 15 cm thick asphalt layer was used to replace the different sub-track layers, the bottom and the top of upper subgrade and of ballasted trackbed, named as T1 , T2 , T3 , and T4 , respectively. The results showed that the range of peak vertical accelerations on the top of subgrade surface of T2 and T4 were smaller than T1 and T3 ; T1 and T2 perform better in decreasing the maximum vertical deformation of subgrade than T3 and T4 ; the maximum transversal tensile strain of T4 is almost twice than the other three. 6Comparative analysis on dynamic behavior of two HMA railway substructures显示文摘A numerical analysis using a finite element program was performed on three structures:hot mix asphalt(HMA) reinforced trackbed(RACS-1),HMA directly supported trackbed(RACS-2),and traditional Portland Cement Concrete(PCC) slab track(SlabTrack).Although the comprehensive dynamic responses of RACS-1 were similar with SlabTrack,HMA layer can positively affect the stress distributions.In particular,the horizontal stresses indicate that the resilience of RACS-1 was improved relative to SlabTrack.In addition,HMA reinforced substructure has the capacity to recover the residual vertical deformation.The effective depth for weakening dynamic loadings is mainly from 0 to 2 m,this being especially true at 0.5 m.The results from the analysis show that HMA is a suitable material for the railway substructure to enhance resilient performance,improve the stress distribution,weaken dynamic loading,and lower the vibration,especially at the effective depth of 2 m.The HMA constructed at the top of the stone subbase layer allows the vertical modulus a smooth transition.In terms of the comprehensive dynamic behaviors,RACS-1 is better than SlabTrack,while the results for RACS-2 are inconclusive and require further research.Mingjing FANG Yanjun QIU Jerry G.
