| 1 | Clustering Seismic Activities Using Linear and Nonlinear Discriminant Analysis显示文摘Identification and classification of different seismo-tectonic events with similar characteristics in a region of interest is one of the most important subjects in seismic hazard studies.In this study,linear and nonlinear discriminant analyses have been applied to classify seismic events in the vicinity of Istanbul.The vertical components of the digital velocity seismograms are used for seismic events with magnitude(Md)between 1.8 and 3.0 that occurred between 2001 and 2004.Two,time dependent parameters,complexity and S/P peak amplitude ratio are selected as predictands.Linear,quadratic,diaglinear and diagquadratic discriminant functions are investigated.Accuracy of methods with an additional adjusted quadratic models are 96.6%,96.6%,95.5%,96.6%,and 97.6%,respectively with a various misclassified rate for each class.The performances of models are justified with cross validation and resubstitution error.Although all models remarkably well performed,adjusted quadratic function achieved the best success rate with just 4 misclassified events out of 179,even better compared to complex methods such as,self organizing method,k-means,Gaussion mixture models that applied to same dataset in literature. | H Serdar Kuyuk Eray Yildirim Emrah Dogan Gunduz Horasan | 2014 | Journal of Earth Science2014，25，1： | 4 |

| 3 | Relationship between diabetic polyneuropathy, serum visfatin, and oxidative stress biomarkers显示文摘BACKGROUND Diabetic polyneuropathy is a very common complication of diabetes.Numerous studies are available in terms of pathogenesis.But examination methods with low reliability are still not standardized and generally time consuming.Highsensitive,easy-to-access methods are expected.Biochemical markers are one of the subjects of research.We aimed to discover a potential biomarker that can be used for this purpose in patients with diabetes who have not yet developed symptoms of neuropathy.AIM To determine the place and availability of visfatin and thiol-disulfide homeostasis in this disorder.METHODS A total of 392 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus were included in the study.The polyneuropathy clinical signs were evaluated with the Subjective Peripheral Neuropathy Screen Questionnaire and Michigan Neuropathy Screening Instrument questionnaire and examination.The biochemical parameters,oxidative stress markers,visfatin,and thiol-disulfide homeostasis were analyzed and correlated with each other and clinical signs.RESULTS Subjective Peripheral Neuropathy Screen Questionnaire and Michigan Neuropathy Screening Instrument questionnaire with examination scores were correlated with each other and diabetes duration(P<0.005).Neuropathy related symptoms were present in 20.7%of the patients,but neuropathy related findings were observed in 43.9%of the patients.Serum glucose,glycated hemoglobin,and visfatin were positively correlated with each other.Also,these parameters were positively correlated with the total oxidative stress index.Total and native thiol was positively correlated with total antioxidant status and negatively with oxidant status.Inversely thiol-disulfide positively correlated with higher glucose and oxidant status and negatively with total antioxidant status(P<0.005).There was no correlation between visfatin and thiol-disulphide(P=0.092,r=0.086).However,a significant negative correlation was observed between visfatin and total with native thiol(P<0.005,r=-0.338),(P<0.005,r=-0.448).CONCLUSION Diagnosis of neuropathy is one of the issues studied in patients with diabetes.Visfatin and thiol-disulfide balance were analyzed for the first time in this study with inspiring results. | Banu Buyukaydin Eray Metin Guler Tahsin Karaaslan Atilla Olgac Mehmet Zorlu Muharrem Kiskac Abdurrahim Kocyigit | 2020 | World Journal of Diabetes2020，11，7： | 2 |
| 4 | Acupuncture Enhances Chances of Pregnancy in Unexplained Infertile Patients Who Undergo A Blastocyst Transfer in A Fresh-Cycle显示文摘Objective: To analyze the effects of acupuncture on in vitro fertilization patients with unexplained infertility.Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the charts of a total of 302 cycles performed in 273 patients attending Assisted Reproductive Technology(ART) Centre from August 2013 to August 2016.During the study period,embryo transfer with acupuncture(Acupuncture group,46 cases) and without acupuncture(Control group,42 cases) were applied.Prior to embryo transfer,the following points were used in the acupuncture group: Neiguan(CX 6),Diji(SP 8),Taichong(Liv 3),Baihui(Gv 20),and Guilai(S 29).These sessions were carried out two times before and after embryo transfer in a single day.In addition,auricular acupuncture was also performed at ear points,including ear point 55(Shenmen),ear point 58(Zhigong),ear point 22(Neifenmi)and ear point 34(Naodian).The biochemical pregnancy rate and clinical pregnancy rate after transplantation were compared between two groups.Results: The clinical pregnancy rate in the acupuncture group was higher than that in the control group [60.9%(28/46) vs.33.3%(14/42),respectively,P<0.05].Likewise,the live birth rate in the acupuncture group was also higher than that in the control group [71.7%(33/46) vs.31.0%(12/42),P<0.01).Conclusion: Administration of acupuncture on the day of embryo transfer dramatically improved fertility results in women who underwent in vitro fertilization/intra-cytoplasm sperm injection for reproduction. | Hakan ?oksüer Mert Ula Barut Murat BozkurT Elif Agacayak Sibel Sak Mustafa Demir Eray Cal?skan | 2019 | Chinese Journal of Integrative Medicine2019，25，4： | 2 |
