1Bone marrow and the control of immunity显示文摘Bone marrow is thought to be a primary hematopoietic organ. However, accumulated evidences demonstrate that active function and trafficking of immune cells, including regulatory T cells, conventional T cells, B cells, dendritic cells, natural killer T (NKT) cells, neutrophils, myeloid-derived suppressor cells and mesenchymal stem cells, are observed in the bone marrow. Furthermore, bone marrow is a predetermined metastatic location for multiple human tumors. In this review, we discuss the immune network in the bone marrow. 5Synthesis of coal tar pitch-derived heteroatom-doped porous carbon materials for aqueous zinc-ion hybrid supercapacitors显示文摘Zinc-ion hybrid supercapacitors (ZHSs), which combine the superiority of batteries and supercapacitors, will become a new development direction in the field of energy storage. The development of ZHSs with high capacity and high stability can be further promoted by heteroatom doping or structural modification of cathode materials. Herein, N,O,P co-doped porous carbon materials were synthesized by a facile method using coal tar pitch as precursor, aluminum phosphate as template, and sodium hydroxide as activator. Due to the high specific surface area and abundant micropores, the heteroatom-doped porous carbon materials were employed as cathode for aqueous ZHSs to study the electrochemical performance. Benefitted from the rich micropores and heteroatom doping, the porous carbon electrodes exhibit an outstanding electrochemical performance and deliver a large specific capacitance of 113.3 mA h g�� 1 at 0.1 A g�� 1. In addition, the porous carbon electrode shows a high energy density of 64.9 Wh kg�� 1 and a high power density of 1.23 kW kg�� 1, which outperforms most aqueous ZHS energy storage systems previously reported. Interestingly, after 5000 cycles at 1 A g�� 1, the specific capacity is about 36% higher than the original capacity and the coulomb efficiency still remains nearly 100%. 6Formation of groundwater-induced damage in Zhu Yuelian’s tomb and protection methods显示文摘Zhu Yuelian’s tomb has been exposed to groundwater for many years,and this exposure has caused many defects,including erosion,encrustation,patina,and spot marks related to groundwater,seriously affecting the artistic and ornamental value of cultural relics.In this study,high-density microelectrode spacing resistivity and ultrasonic transverse wave reflection were used to detect hidden damage in the burial chamber,and the results revealed hidden damage,corrosion,cracks,and pores in the surrounding geological body,concealed cracks in the sidewalls,and internal defects in the columns.An outdoor high-density resistivity test and hydrological observation experiment indicated that the tomb is located in a weakly permeable aquifer,and the groundwater head has been higher than the bottom of the tomb for many years.Natural groundwater flows from northeast to southwest in the aquifer,and the tomb forms an artificial concave cone,causing groundwater around the area to continually flow into the tomb.A chemical composition analysis of the groundwater and scale revealed that the groundwater within the tomb area is slightly corrosive,and the groundwater seepage along the fissures of the compacted layer induces damage.The threedimensional(3D)seepage numerical simulation results indicated that the combined use of drainage and impervious curtains can cause the water head in the curtain to drop significantly and control the water head to be lower than 8 m from the bottom floor of the tomb,meeting the requirements for seepage prevention and protection of the tomb without long-term maintenance.LI Bin MEN YeKai ZHAO Gang WANG EnDe 2023Science China(Technological Sciences)2023,66,8:0
7Fast filtering false active subspaces for efficient high dimensional similarity processing显示文摘The query space of a similarity query is usually narrowed down by pruning inactive query subspaces which contain no query results and keeping active query subspaces which may contain objects corre-sponding to the request. However,some active query subspaces may contain no query results at all,those are called false active query subspaces. It is obvious that the performance of query processing degrades in the presence of false active query subspaces. Our experiments show that this problem becomes seriously when the data are high dimensional and the number of accesses to false active sub-spaces increases as the dimensionality increases. In order to solve this problem,this paper proposes a space mapping approach to reducing such unnecessary accesses. A given query space can be re-fined by filtering within its mapped space. To do so,a mapping strategy called maxgap is proposed to improve the efficiency of the refinement processing. Based on the mapping strategy,an index structure called MS-tree and algorithms of query processing are presented in this paper.
