1Water quality evaluation based on improved fuzzy matter-element method显示文摘For natural water, method of water quality evaluation based on improved fuzzy matter-element evaluation method is presented. Two important parts are improved, the weights determining and fuzzy membership functions. The coefficient of variation of each indicator is used to determine the weight instead of traditional calculating superscales method. On the other hand, fuzzy matter-elements are constructed, and normal membership degrees are used instead of traditional trapezoidal ones. The composite fuzzy matter-elements with associated coefficient are constructed through associated transformation. The levels of natural water quality are determined according to the principle of maximum correlation. The improved fuzzy matter-element evaluation method is applied to evaluate water quality of the Luokou mainstream estuary at the first ten weeks in 2011 with the coefficient of variation method determining the weights. Water quality of Luokou mainstream estuary is dropping from level I to level II. The results of the improved evaluation method are basically the same as the official water quality. The variation coefficient method can reduce the workload, and overcome the adverse effects from abnormal values, compared with the traditional calculating superscales method. The results of improved fuzzy matter-element evaluation method are more credible than the ones of the traditional evaluation method. 2Commissioning progress of the FAST显示文摘The Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope(FAST) was completed with its main structure installed on September 25, 2016, after which it entered the commissioning phase. This paper aims to introduce the commissioning progress of the FAST over the past two years. To improve its operational reliability and ensure effective observation time, FAST has been equipped with a real-time information system for the active reflector system and hierarchical commissioning scheme for the feed support system, which ultimately achieves safe operation of the two systems. For meeting the high-performance indices, a highprecision measurement system was set up based on the effective control methods that were implemented for the active reflector system and feed support system. Since the commissioning of the FAST, a low-frequency ultra-wideband receiver and 19-beam1.05-1.45 GHz receiver have been mainly used. Telescope efficiency, pointing accuracy, and system noise temperature were completely tested and ultimately achieved the acceptance indices of the telescope. The FAST has been in the process of national acceptance preparations and has begun to search for pulsars. 3Optimization of Vehicle Side Curtain Airbag Module Based on Computer Aided Engineering显示文摘Compared with other kinds of airbags,curtain airbag(CAB) has more complex structures and larger coverage area. The product development process depends on many module tests,sled tests and full size vehicle tests. Computer aided engineering(CAE) technology can replace tests to a great extent,also save test costs and product development time. This paper introduces the way of setting up simulation models and application of static deployment tests and free motion headform(FMH) tests to verify simulation models. In the CAB simulation,uniform pressure airbag models and computational fluid dynamics(CFD) models are all used. The uniform pressure airbag models are not able to simulate the pressure difference among different parts inside the cushion during inflating process. CFD-based CAB models are used to help the curtain airbag optimization design. Based on effective CAE simulation,the optimization analyses related to diffuser tube parameters,inflator mass flow rate and cushion folding patterns are discussed and performed in different cases. 5Efficacy of telemedicine on glycaemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes:A meta-analysis显示文摘BACKGROUND Telemedicine is defined as the delivery of health services via remote communication and technology.It is a convenient and cost-effective method of intervention,which has shown to be successful in improving glyceamic control for type 2 diabetes patients.The utility of a successful diabetes intervention is vital to reduce disease complications,hospital admissions and associated economic costs.AIM To evaluate the effects of telemedicine interventions on hemoglobin A1c(HbA1c),systolic blood pressure(SBP),diastolic blood pressure(DBP),body mass index(BMI),post-prandial glucose(PPG),fasting plasma glucose(FPG),weight,cholesterol,mental and physical quality of life(QoL)in patients with type 2 diabetes.The secondary aim of this study is to determine the effect of the following subgroups on HbA1c post-telemedicine intervention;telemedicine characteristics,patient characteristics and self-care outcomes.METHODS PubMed Central,Cochrane Library,Embase and Scopus databases were searched from inception until 18th of June 2020.The quality of the 43 included studies were assessed using the PEDro scale,and the random effects model was used to estimate outcomes and I2 for heterogeneity testing.The mean difference and standard deviation data were extracted for analysis.RESULTS We found a significant reduction in HbA1c[-0.486%;95%confidence interval(CI)-0.561 to-0.410,P<0.001],DBP(-0.875 mmHg;95%CI-1.429 to-0.321,P<0.01),PPG(-1.458 mmol/L;95%CI-2.648 to-0.268,P<0.01),FPG(-0.577 mmol/L;95%CI-0.710 to-0.443,P<0.001),weight(-0.243 kg;95%CI-0.442 to-0.045,P<0.05),BMI(-0.304;95%CI-0.563 to-0.045,P<0.05),mental QoL(2.210;95%CI 0.053 to 4.367,P<0.05)and physical QoL(-1.312;95%CI 0.545 to 2.080,P<0.001)for patients following telemedicine interventions in comparison to control groups.The results of the meta-analysis did not show any significant reductions in SBP and cholesterol in the telemedicine interventions compared to the control groups.The telemedicine characteristic subgroup analysis revealed that clinical treatment models of intervention,as well as those involving telemonitoring,and those provided via modes of videoconference or interactive telephone had the greatest effect on HbA1c reduction.In addition,interventions delivered at a less than weekly frequency,as well as those given for a duration of 6 mo,and those lead by allied health resulted in better HbA1c outcomes.Furthermore,interventions with a focus on biomedical parameters,as well as those with an engagement level>70%and those with a drop-out rate of 10%-19.9%showed greatest HbA1c reduction.The patient characteristics investigation reported that Hispanic patients with T2DM had a greater HbA1c reduction post telemedicine intervention.For self-care outcomes,telemedicine interventions that resulted in higher postintervention glucose monitoring and self-efficacy were shown to have better HbA1c reduction.CONCLUSION The findings indicate that telemedicine is effective for improving HbA1c and thus,glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes.In addition,telemedicine interventions were also found to significantly improved other health outcomes as well as QoL scores.The results of the subgroup analysis emphasized that interventions in the form of telemonitoring,via a clinical treatment model and with a focus on biomedical parameters,delivered at a less than weekly frequency and 6 mo duration would have the largest effect on HbA1c reduction.This is in addition to being led by allied health,through modes such as video conference and interactive telephone,with an intervention engagement level>70%and a drop-out rate between 10%-19.9%.Due to the high heterogeneity of included studies and limitations,further studies with a larger sample size is needed to confirm our findings.Julia De Groot Dongjun Wu Declan Flynn Dylan Robertson Gary Grant Jing Sun 2021World Journal of Diabetes2021,12,2:3
6Integrated treatment for lower-limb stage Ⅱ thromboangiitis obliterans by interventional therapy and oral administration of Chinese medicine: a randomized controlled clinical trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To observe if integrated treatment is better than other therapies for lower-limb stage thromboangiitis obliterans(TAO).ⅡMETHODS: Ninety lower-limb stage randomly dividedⅡ i or worse TAO patients werento three groups: group A(30 cases) treated by intervention and oral administration of Chinese medicine; groupB(30 cases) treated by intervention alone; and group C(30 cases) treated only with oral administration of Chinese medicine. 8Recent applications and strategies in nanotechnology for lung diseases显示文摘Lung diseases,including COVID-19 and lung cancers,is a huge threat to human health.However,for the treatment and diagnosis of various lung diseases,such as pneumonia,asthma,cancer,and pulmonary tuberculosis,are becoming increasingly challenging.Currently,several types of treatments and/or diagnostic methods are used to treat lung diseases;however,the occurrence of adverse reactions to chemotherapy,drug-resistant bacteria,side effects that can be significantly toxic,and poor drug delivery necessitates the development of more promising treatments.Nanotechnology,as an emerging technology,has been extensively studied in medicine.Several studies have shown that nano-delivery systems can significantly enhance the targeting of drug delivery.When compared to traditional delivery methods,several nanoparticle delivery strategies are used to improve the detection methods and drug treatment efficacy.Transporting nanoparticles to the lungs,loading appropriate therapeutic drugs,and the incorporation of intelligent functions to overcome various lung barriers have broad prospects as they can aid in locating target tissues and can enhance the therapeutic effect while minimizing systemic side effects.In addition,as a new and highly contagious respiratory infection disease,COVID-19 is spreading worldwide.However,there is no specific drug for COVID-19.Clinical trials are being conducted in several countries to develop antiviral drugs or vaccines.In recent years,nanotechnology has provided a feasible platform for improving the diagnosis and treatment of diseases,nanotechnology-based strategies may have broad prospects in the diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19.This article reviews the latest developments in nanotechnology drug delivery strategies in the lungs in recent years and studies the clinical application value of nanomedicine in the drug delivery strategy pertaining to the lung.Wenhao Zhong Xinyu Zhang Yunxin Zeng Dongjun Lin Jun Wu 2021Nano Research2021,14,7:3

10Relationship between glutathione and malonaldehyde levels in erythrocytes and the deformation index of erythrocyte in patients at various periods following acute cerebral infarction显示文摘BACKGROUND: Glutathione, as an in vivo free radical scavenger, plays an important role in the anti-oxidation defense mechanism in patients with acute cerebral infarction. OBJECTIVE: To observe the relationship between the levels of glutathione (GSH) and malonaldehyde (MDA), the metabolite of lipid peroxidation, in erythrocyte and deformation index of erythrocyte in patients at various periods following acute cerebral infarction. DESIGN: Controlled observation. SETTING: Qilu Hospital of Shandong University and Institute of Cerebrovascular Disease of Qingdao Medical College. PARTICIPANTS: We chose 98 inpatients with acute cerebral infarction from Department of Neurology, Qilu Hospital of Shandong University from January to December 2000 , serving as cerebral infarction group, including 50 male and 48 female , with mean age of (62±7)years. There were 23 cases found on the 1st day after onset; 25 cases on the 3rd day after onset; 25 cases on the 7th day after onset; 25 cases on the 14th days after onset, and they were all confirmed by craniocerebral CT or MRI. Another 30 homeochronous inpatients with neurosis, cervical syndrome, lumbar intervertebral disc herniation and motor neuron disease were chosen as control group, including 20 male and 10 female, with mean age of (52±8)years . There was no significant difference in age and gender distribution between two groups (P > 0.05). Patients in the two groups were informed of detected index. METHODS: ①Ulnar venous blood was chosen from the patients who were fasted on the 1st, 3rd, 7th and 14th days after onset. Deformation index of erythrocyte was measured with BL88-CKX laser diffraction erythrocyte deformeter and photographing was performed. GSH level in erythrocyte was measured with DTNB assay introduced by Beu-tler. MDA level in erythrocyte was measured with modified thiobarbituric acid colorimetric method. ②At each sample collecting , according to the criteria accepted by the Fourth National Conference of Cerebrovascular Disease, intergrant of neurologic impairment < 15 points was regarded as mild (n=46),15 to 30 points as moderate (n=40)and, > 30 points as severe (n=12). ③ t test was used to compare data between two groups , and linear correlation analysis was used in relationship analysis among indexes. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: ① Comparison of erythrocyte GSH and MDA levels and deformation index of erythrocyte at various periods between patients with acute cerebral infarction and controls. ②Correlation of erythrocyte GSH level with erythrocyte MDA level and with deformation index of erythrocyte in patients with cerebral infarction. ③ Relationship between erythrocyte GSH level and severity of disease in patients with acute cerebral infarction. RESULTS: Totally 98 patients with acute cerebral infarction and 30 controls all entered the stage of result analysis. ① Erythrocyte GSH level and deformation index of erythrocyte were lower on the 1st, 3rd, 7th and 14th days after onset in cerebral infarction group than in control group (P < 0.05-0.01), and erythrocyte MDA level was significantly higher in cerebral infarction group than in control group (P < 0.05-0.01). The three indexes changed most significantly on day 3 after onset in patients, and began to recover or decrease on day 7 after onset and inclined to be normal on day 14 after onset. ② Erythrocyte GSH level was significantly negatively correlated with erythrocyte MDA level in patients with acute cerebral infarction on the 1st, 3rd, 7th and 14th days after onset (r=-0.534, -0.713, -0.645, -0.656, respectively, P < 0.05-0.01),and significantly positively correlated with erythrocyte deformation index (r=0.502, 0.560, 0.455, 0.504, respectively, P < 0.05). ③Erythrocyte GSH level was significantly lower in moderate or severe patients with acute cerebral infarction than in mild patients[(0.215±0.088),(0.192±0.102),(0.281±0.090) g/L, P < 0.05]. CONCLUSION: ①Erythrocyte GSH and MDA levels and deformation index of erythrocyte change significantly on the 3rd day following acute cerebral infarction. 11Reversible switching between normal and thermally activated delayed fluorescence towards “smart” and single compound whitelight luminescence via controllable conformational distribution显示文摘An organic compound exhibiting simultaneously reversible switch between its emission colors and luminescence mechanisms,possessing high contrast from deep blue normal fluorescence(NF) to yellow thermally activated delayed fluorescence(TADF),is reported. Based on these two complementary colors, white-light emission combining NF and TADF from a single compound can be achieved in various states. 13An Information Fusion Model of Innovation Alliances Based on the Bayesian Network显示文摘To solve the problem of information fusion from multiple sources in innovation alliances, an information fusion model based on the Bayesian network is presented. The multi-source information fusion process of innovation alliances was classified into three layers, namely, the information perception layer, the feature clustering layer,and the decision fusion layer. The agencies in the alliance were defined as sensors through which information is perceived and obtained, and the features were clustered. Finally, various types of information were fused by the innovation alliance based on the fusion algorithm to achieve complete and comprehensive information. The model was applied to a study on economic information prediction, where the accuracy of the fusion results was higher than that from a single source and the errors obtained were also smaller with the MPE less than 3%, which demonstrates the proposed fusion method is more effective and reasonable. 17Further study on heredity of liquid aluminum modified by electric pulse显示文摘The remarkable heredity of liquid aluminum modified by electric pulse (EP, EPM) has been uncovered. For better understanding from all aspects on the hereditary properties, the present research deals with the heredity destruction and the secondary EPM procedure. It is shown that the secondary EPM is capable of preventing the heredity reduction of EP-modified liquid aluminum, and that the final refining effect has a close relationship with technique parameters of the secondary EPM. Furthermore, at a certain superheated temperature depending on the initial EPM technique parameters, the heredity relationship of EP-modified liquid aluminum can be cut off during remelting. 18PV-based virtual synchronous generator with variable inertia to enhance power system transient stability utilizing the energy storage system显示文摘The Photovoltaic(PV)plants are significantly different from the conventional synchronous generators in terms of physical and electrical characteristics,as it connects to the power grid through the voltage-source converters.High penetration PV in power system will bring several critical challenges to the safe operation of power grid including transient stability.To address this problem,the paper proposes a control strategy to help the PVs work like a synchronous generator with variable inertia by energy storage system(ESS).First,the overall control strategy of the PV-based virtual synchronous generator(PV-VSG)is illustrated.Then the control strategies for the variable inertia of the PV-VSG are designed to attenuate the transient energy of the power system after the fault.Simulation results of a simple power system show that the PV-VSG could utilize the energy preserved in the ESS to balance the transient energy variation of power grid after fault and improve the transient stability of the power system.Ju Liu Dongjun Yang Wei Yao Rengcun Fang Hongsheng Zhao Bo Wang 2017Protection and Control of Modern Power Systems2017,2,1:2
