| 2 | Optimal Auxiliary Frequency Control of Wind Turbine Generators and Coordination with Synchronous Generators显示文摘Auxiliary frequency control of a wind turbine generator(WTG) has been widely used to enhance the frequencysecurity of power systems with high penetration of renewableenergy. Previous studies recommend two types of control schemes,including frequency droop control and emulated inertia control,which simulate the response characteristics of the synchronousgenerator (SG). This paper plans to further explore the optimalauxiliary frequency control of the wind turbine based on previousresearch. First, it is determined that the virtual inertia control haslittle effect on the maximum rate of change of frequency (MaxROCOF)if the time delay of the control link of WTG is taken intoconsideration. Secondly, if a WTG operates in maximum powerpoint tracking (MPPT) mode and uses the rotor deceleration forfrequency modulation, its optimal auxiliary frequency control willcontain only droop control. Furthermore, if the droop control isproperly delayed, better system frequency response (SFR) willbe obtained. The reason is that coordination between the WTGand SG is important for SFR when the frequency modulationcapability of the WTG is limited. | 3 | miR-25 modulates triacylglycerol and lipid accumulation in goat mammary epithelial cells by repressing PGC-1beta显示文摘Background: The goat(Caprahircus) is one of the most important livestock animals. Goat milk fat is an important component in the nutritional quality of goat milk. Growing evidence points to the critical roles of microRNAs(miRNAs) in lipid metabolism.Results: Using a highly sensitive method of S-poly(T) plus for miRNAs detection, we analyze the expression patterns of 715 miRNAs in goat mammary gland tissues at different stages of lactation. We observed that miR-25 expression had an inverse relationship with milk production. Overexpression of miR-25 significantly repressed triacylglycerol synthesis and lipid droplet accumulation. To explore the regulatory mechanism of miR-25 in milk lipid metabolism,we analyzed its putative target genes with bioinformatics analysis followed by 3′-UTR assays. Peroxisome proliferative activated receptor gamma coactivator 1 beta(PGC-1 beta), a key regulator of lipogenics was identified as a direct target of miR-25 with three specific sites within its 3′-UTR. | 4 | Geochronology and mineralogy of the Weishan carbonatite in Shandong province, eastern China显示文摘The Weishan REE deposit is located at the eastern part of North China Craton(NCC), western Shandong Province. The REE-bearing carbonatite occur as veins associated with aegirine syenite. LA-ICP-MS bastnaesite Th-Pb ages(129 Ma) of the Weishan carbonatite show that the carbonatite formed contemporary with the aegirine syenite. Based on the petrographic and geochemical characteristics of calcite, the REEbearing carbonatite mainly consists of Generation-1 igneous calcite(G-1 calcite) with a small amount of Generation-2 hydrothermal calcite(G-2 calcite). Furthermore, the Weishan apatite is characterized by high Sr, LREE and low Y contents, and the carbonatite is rich in Sr, Ba and LREE contents. The δ^(13)Cv-PDB(-6.5‰ to -7.9‰) and δ^(13)OV-SMOW(8.48‰-9.67‰) values are similar to those of primary, mantlederived carbonatites. The above research supports that the carbonatite of the Weishan REE deposit is igneous carbonatite. Besides, the high Sr/Y, Th/U, Sr and Ba of the apatite indicate that the magma source of the Weishan REE deposit was enriched lithospheric mantle, which have suffered the fluid metasomatism. Taken together with the Mesozoic tectono-magmatic activities, the NW and NWW subduction of Izanagi plate along with lithosphere delamination and thinning of the North China plate support the formation of the Weishan REE deposit. Accordingly, the mineralization model of the Weishan REE deposit was concluded: The spatial-temporal relationships coupled with rare and trace element characteristics for both carbonatite and syenite suggest that the carbonatite melt was separated from the CO_2-rich silicate melt by liquid immiscibility. The G-1 calcites were crystallized from the carbonatite melt, which made the residual melt rich in rare earth elements. Due to the common origin of G-1 and G-2 calcites, the REE-rich magmatic hydrothermal was subsequently separated from the melt. | 7 | Allele-aware chromosome-scale assembly of the allopolyploid genome of hexaploid Ma bamboo(Dendrocalamus latiflorus Munro)显示文摘Dendrocalamus latiflorus Munro is a woody clumping bamboo with rapid shoot growth.Both genetic transformation and clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats(CRISPR)/CRISPR-associated protein 9(Cas9)gene editing techniques are available for D.latiflorus,enabling reverse genetic approaches.Thus,D.latiflorus has the potential to be a model bamboo species.However,the genome sequence of D.latiflorus has remained unreported due to its polyploidy and large genome size.Here,we sequenced the D.latiflorus genome and assembled it into three allele-aware subgenomes(AABBCC),representingthe largest genome of a major bamboo species.We assembled 70 allelic chromosomes(2,737 Mb)for hexaploid D.latiflorus using both singlemolecule sequencing from the Pacific Biosciences(Pac Bio)Sequel platform and chromosome conformation capture sequencing(Hi-C).Repetitive sequences comprised 52.65%of the D.latiflorus genome.We annotated 135231 protein-coding genes in the genome based on transcriptomes from eight different tissues.Transcriptome sequencing using RNA-Seq and Pac Bio singlemolecule real-time long-read isoform sequencing revealed highly differential alternative splicing(AS)between non-abortive and abortive shoots,suggesting that AS regulates the abortion rate of bamboo shoots.This high-quality hexaploid genome and comprehensive strand-specific transcriptome datasets for this Poaceae family member will pave the way for bamboo research using D.latiflorus as a model species. | Yushan Zheng Deming Yang Jundong Rong Liguang Chen Qiang Zhu Tianyou He Lingyan Chen Jing Ye Lili Fan Yubang Gao Hangxiao Zhang Lianfeng Gu | 2022 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2022,64,3: | 6 |

| 9 | Variability of streambed vertical hydraulic conductivity with depth along the Elkhorn River,Nebraska,USA显示文摘Determination of streambed hydraulic conductivity is of great importance in the analysis of stream-aquifer interactions and stream ecosystems.In this paper,in situ falling-head standpipe permeameter tests were conducted to determine streambed vertical hydraulic conductivity (Kv) of two connected layers of sediments at 60 test locations from eight sites in the Elkhorn River,Nebraska.Our results show that the Kv values for the upper layer of sediments are generally larger than those in their respective lower layer of sediments.The individual Kv value for the upper layer of sediments from all test locations of the eight sites range from 2.7 to 104.9 m/d,and the average value is 26.6 m/d.The individual Kv value ranges from 0.4 to 73.4 m/d and the average value is 16.1 m/d for the lower layer of sediments.We believe that hyporheic processes can enhance larger streambed Kv in the upper layer of sediments.Inflow and outflow through hyporheic zone produce more porous and permeable sediments and further result in an increasing of streambed Kv.Moreover,we observe that bioturbation activities can destroy the clogging layer of the exposed sediments and create pore spaces in the sediments,which also further increases streambed Kv. | SONG JinXi CHEN XunHong CHENG Cheng WANG DeMing WANG WenKe | 2010 | Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,10: | 2 |
| 10 | Ecological Effects of Remote Smallsand Descending on Urban Area:Deduced from the 'Mud - Snow' in Changchun City显示文摘A serious sandstorm occurred in North China from April 5 to April 7, 2000, while the remote smallsand decending took place in even larger area to the far northeast China. In Chanchun city, smallsand descending with snow provides the best samples to conduct a quantitative research on the possible impacts of city - ecology. In the 253km2 urban district area of Changchun city, smallsands accumulated up to more than 3000t on April 7, according to the calculation of four 'mud - snow' samples. After naturally melting in room temperature, two samples are taken to do quarantine of 'invasion bacteria'. As a preliminary result, the individual amount of bacterium in 1 ml sample water is up to 8. 9 x 104 or 1. 05 x 105, and it is estimated that there are 640 million 'invasion bacterium' individuals in one square meter. | 20 | Nest-type NCM ■ Pt/C with oxygen capture character as advanced electrocatalyst for oxygen reduction reaction显示文摘A unique nest-type catalyst has been designed with a nest of oxygen capture surrounding catalytic Pt centers, which shows much promoted performance, on the base of Pt/C catalyst, for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR). The nest is constructed with nitrogen-doped carbon matrix(NCM), derived from the controlled carbonization of PANI precursor, to cover Pt/C catalyst. The unique structure of the catalyst(denoted as NCM■ Pt/C) has many merits. Firstly, it can capture oxygen both in air and in acidic electrolyte. Compared with naked Pt/C, it is found that, in air, the oxygen concentration within the porous nest of NCM surrounding Pt/C particles is ~13 times higher than atmospheric oxygen concentration and, in acidic electrolyte, the concentration of activated oxygen over the catalyst NCM■ Pt/C rise to~1.9 times. Secondly, the NCM nest offers a special electronic modulation on Pt centers toward modified ORR kinetics and then catalytic performances. With these merits, compared with Pt/C, the NCM■ Pt/C catalyst shows 3.2 times higher turnover frequency value and 2.9 times enhanced specific activity for ORR with half-wave potential at 0.894 V. After 50,000 sweeping cycles, the NCM■ Pt/C catalyst retains~66% mass activity and still has advantages over the fresh Pt/C catalyst.
