| 1 | Peritectic solidification under high undercooling conditions显示文摘The solidification characteristics of highly undercooled Cu-7.77% Co peritectic alloy has been examined by glass fluxing technique. The obtained undercoolings vary from 93 to 203 K(0.14 T_L). It is found that the a(Co) phase always nucleates and grows preferentially, which is followed by peritectic transformation. This means that the peritectic phase cannot form directly, even though the alloy melt is undercooled to a temperature far below its peritectic point. The maximum recalescence temperature measured experimentally decreases as undercooling increases, which is lower than the thermodynamic calculation result owing to the actual non-adiabatic nature of recalescence process. The dendritic fragmentation of primary α(Co) phase induced by high undercooling is found to enhance the completion of peritectic transformation. In addition, the LKT/BCT dendrite growth model is modified in order to make it applicable to those binary alloy systems with seriously curved liquidus and solidus lines. | 2 | Rapid growth of ternary eutectic un der high undercooling conditions显示文摘Rapid solidification of bulk Ag42.4Cu21.6Sb36 ternary eutectic alloy is accomplished by glass fluxing method,during which the maximum undercooling attains 114 K (0.16 TE). Under high undercooling conditions,the ternary eutectic consists ofε (Ag3Sb),(Sb)and θ(Cu2Sb)phases,instead of (Ag),(Sb)and θphases as predicted by the phase diagram.In the sample of small undercooling,the alloy microstructure is characterized by the mixture of primary θ(Cu2Sb),(ε+θ) and (ε+Sb) pseudobinary eutectics,and regular (ε+θ+Sb) ternary eutectic.With the increase of undercooling, θ (Cu2Sb) primary phase and pseudobinary eutectics disappear gradually,and ternary eutectic transfers from regular to anomalous structure.When undercooling exceeds 102 K,anomalous (ε+θ+Sb) ternary eutectic is the unique microstructure.Competitive nucleation and growth of these three eutectic phases is the main cause for the formation of complex growth morphologies.Based on the current experiments and theoretical calculations,it can be concluded that the intermetallic compound phaseθ(Cu2Sb) is the leading nucleating phase. | RUAN Ying CAO Chongde WEI Bingbo | 2004 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2004,47,6: | 10 |
| 3 | Thermophysical properties of Ni-5%Sn alloy melt显示文摘The surface tension and specific heat of Ni-5%Sn alloy melt were measured by the oscillating drop method and the drop calorimetric method using electromagnetic levitation, respectively. The temperature coefficient of surface tension is 6.43×10-4 N·m?1K?1 within the temperature regime of 1464-1931 K. The enthalpy change was measured in the temperature range from 1461 to 1986 K, and the average specific heat was obtained as 43.03 J·mol?1K?1. Some other thermophysical properties, such as viscosity, solute dif-fusion coefficient, density, thermal diffusivity and thermal conductivity of this alloy melt, were derived based on the experimentally measured surface tension and specific heat. | 4 | Phase separation and rapid solidification of liquid Cu_(60)Fe_(30)Co_(10) ternary peritectic alloy显示文摘The metastable liquid phase separation and rapid solidification of Cu60Fe30Co10 ternary peritectic alloy were investigated by using the drop tube technique and the differential scanning calorimetry method. It was found that the critical temperature of metastable liquid phase separation in this alloy is 1623.5 K, and the two sepa- rated liquid phases solidify as Cu(Fe,Co) and Fe(Cu,Co) solid solutions, respec- tively. The undercooling and cooling rate of droplets processed in the drop tube increase with the decrease of their diameters. During the drop tube processing, the structural morphologies of undercooled droplets are strongly dependent on the cooling rate. With the increase of the cooling rate, Fe(Cu,Co) spheres are refined greatly and become uniformly dispersed in the Cu-rich matrix. The calculations of Marangoni migration velocity (VM) and Stokes motion velocity (VS) of Fe(Cu,Co) droplets indicated that Marangoni migration contributes more to the coarsening and congregation of the minor phase during free fall. At the same undercooling, the VM/VS ratio increases drastically as Fe(Cu,Co) droplet size decreases. | 5 | Influence of Psychological Intervention before Emergent Ocular Trauma Surgery on Patients' Negative Emotions显示文摘Purpose:.To investigate the effect of preoperative psychological intervention on alleviating negative emotions in patients undergoing emergent ocular trauma surgery.Methods:..A total of 100 patients undergoing emergent ocular trauma surgery were selected using convenience sampling and randomly divided into control(n=49) and experimental(n =51) groups. | 6 | Crystallization and Corrosion Resistance of (Fe_(0.78)Si_(0.09)B_(0.13))100_(-x)Ni_x (x=0,2 and 5) Glassy Alloys显示文摘The crystallization of the (Fe0.78Si_(0.09)B0.13)100-xNix glassy alloys (x=0, 2 and 5) has been investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and differential scanning calorimeter (DSC). Corrosion resistance analyses have been carried out using electrochemical measurements and corrosion products have been analyzed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The experimental results show that the addition of Ni can promote the nucleation of α-Fe, retard the decomposition of the metastable borides, and alter the crystallization mode of the present Fe-based glassy alloys. The lattice constant (a0Fe) of α-Fe in the annealed samples shows a decreasing trend with increasing annealing time. The Ni addition can improve the corrosion resistance of the as-quenched Fe-based glassy alloys in H2SO4, NaCl and NaOH solutions. | 9 | Rapid growth of primary dendrite in highly undercooled copper-antimany alloy显示文摘The droplets of Cu-11wt.%Sb hypoeutectic alloy have been rapidly solidified during containerless processing in a 3 m drop tube. The undercooling and cooling rates are estimated, and both play a dominant role in the dendritic growth of primary Cu phase. Undercoolings up to 200 K (0.16TL, where TL is the liquidus temperature) have been obtained in the experiment. With the increase of undercooling, the microstructural evolution of primary Cu phase proceeds from remelted dendrites to the equiaxed grains. A coarse dendritic grain microstructure can form in the undercooling range of 61~102 K and at cooling rates of 1.35×102~2.66×103 K/s. The segregationless solidification of Cu-11wt.%Sb hypoeutectic alloy occurs when undercooling is more than 176 K. | 10 | Biosynthetic labeling with 3-O-propargylcaffeyl alcohol reveals in vivo cell-specific patterned lignification in loquat fruits during development and postharvest storage显示文摘Lignification is a major cell wall modification that often results in the formation of sophisticated subcellular patterns during plant development or in response to environmental stresses.Precise localization of the spatiotemporal deposition of lignin is of great importance for revealing the lignification regulatory mechanism of individual cells.In loquat fruits,lignification typically increases the flesh lignin content and firmness,reducing their edibility and processing quality.However,the precise localization of the spatiotemporal active zones of lignification inside loquat fruit flesh remains poorly understood,and little is known about the contribution of patterned lignification to cell wall structure dynamics and the subsequent fruit-quality deterioration.Here,we performed an emerging bioorthogonal chemistry imaging technique to trace the in vivo patterned lignification dynamics in cells of loquat fruit flesh during development and storage.In developing fruits,lignified cells(LCs)and vascular bundles(VBs)were the zones of active lignification,and ring-like LCs deposited lignin at both the inner wall layer and the outer periphery sides.The domino effect of the generation of LCs was preliminarily visualized.In mature fruits,the newly formed lignin in the flesh of fruits during storage was specifically deposited in the corners and middle lamellae of parenchyma cells surrounding the VBs,resulting in the development of a reticular structure.Based on the findings,distinct spatiotemporal patterned lignification modes for different flesh cells in loquat fruits were proposed.These findings provide loquat lignification dynamics together with spatiotemporal data that can improve our understanding of the lignification process in planta. | Nan Zhu Chenning Zhao Yuqing Wei Chongde Sun Di Wu Kunsong Chen | 2021 | Horticulture Research2021,8,1: | 2 |
