1AN OVERVIEW OF ADAKITE PETROGENESIS显示文摘The term adakite was originally pro- posed to define silica-rich, high Sr/Y and La/Yb vol- canic and plutonic rocks derived from melting of the basaltic portion of oceanic crust subducted beneath volcanic arcs. It was also initially believed that ada- kite only occurs in convergent margins where young and thus still hot oceanic slabs are being subducted, but later studies have proposed that it also occurs in other arc settings where unusual tectonic conditions can lower the solidus of older slabs. Currently, ada- kite covers a range of arc rocks ranging from pristine slab melt, to adakite-peridotite hybrid melt, to melt derived from peridotite metasomatized by slab melt. Adakite studies have generated some confusions because (1) the definition of adakite combines com- positional criteria with a genetic interpretation (melt- ing of subducted basalt), (2) the definition is fairly broad and relies on chemistry as its distinguishing characteristic, (3) the use of high pressure melting experiment results on wet basalts as unequivocal proofs of slab melting and (4) the existence of ada- kitic rocks with chemical characteristics similar to adakites but are clearly unrelated to slab melting. Other studies have shown that adakitic rocks and a number of the previously reported adakites are pro- duced through melting of the mafic lower crust or ponded basaltic magma, high-pressure crystal frac- tionation of basaltic magma and low-pressure crystal fractionation of basaltic magma plus magma mixing processes in both arc or non-arc tectonic environ- ments. Despite the confusing interpretations on the petrogenesis of adakite and adakitic rocks, their in- vestigations have enriched our understanding of material recycling at subduction zones, crustal evolu- tionary processes and economic mineralization.PATERNO R. 7饲料中添加抗菌肽对红姑鱼幼鱼生长性能及血清激素水平的影响显示文摘【目的】评价抗菌肽(Antimicrobial peptides,AMPs)对红姑鱼(Sciaenops ocellatus)幼鱼生长性能和血清激素水平的影响。【方法】在基础饲料中添加不同剂量的抗菌肽(0,0.1,0.3和0.5g/kg)作为试验饲料(即A0,A100,A300和A500组),饲喂平均体质量为(1.57±0.17)g/尾的红姑鱼8周,测定各组红姑鱼生长性能、血清激素(GH、T3、T4和IGF-I)水平,A0和A300组红姑鱼停饲后不同时间点的血清激素水平及肌肉和肝脏中IGF-I mRNA表达丰度。【结果】A300和A500组红姑鱼增重率、饲料效率和蛋白效率都显著高于A0组(P<0.05),A100、A300和A500组的蛋白沉积率和成活率显著高于A0组(P<0.05)。A300和A500组含肉率和鱼体粗蛋白含量显著高于A0组(P<0.05),对形体指标和体组成的其他指标均无显著影响(P>0.05)。养殖4,6,8周抗菌肽对血清中GH水平无显著影响(P>0.05);A300和A500组血清T3、T4和IGF-I含量显著高于A0组(P<0.05)。停饲后72h内持续取样发现,A300组的血清IGF-I在停饲后2h时达峰值,且在2和4h时血清IGF-I含量显著高于A0组(P<0.05)。A300组的IGF-I mRNA在肝脏和肌肉中的表达量在4h时达峰值(P<0.05)。【结论】饲料中添加抗菌肽0.3g/kg可促进红姑鱼的生长,提高饲料效率,增加含肉率。抗菌肽与血清GH的分泌无显著相关性,但可提高血清IGF-I水平及IGF-I mRNA在肌肉和肝脏中的表达量。郑宗林 赵永志 Sergio Castillo 2016西北农林科技大学学报(自然科学版)2016,44,11:12
8Human papillomavirus in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma in Colombia and Chile显示文摘AIM: To examine the presence of human papillomavirus (HPV) in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) specimens collected from Colombia and Chile located in the northern and southern ends of the continent, respectively. METHODS: We examined 47 and 26 formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded ESCC specimens from Colombia and Chile, respectively. HPV was detected using GP5+/GP6+ primer pair for PCR, and confirmed by Southern blot analysis. Sequencing analysis of L1 region fragment was used to identify HPV genotype. In addition, P16INK4A protein immunostaining of all the specimens was conducted. RESULTS: HPV was detected in 21 ESCC specimens (29%). Sequencing analysis of L1 region fragment identified HPV-16 genome in 6 Colombian cases(13%) and in 5 Chilean cases (19%). HPV-18 was detected in 10 cases (21%) in Colombia but not in any Chilean case. Since Chilean ESCC cases had a higher prevalence of HPV-16 (without statistical significance), but a significantly lower prevalence of HPV-18 than in Colombian cases (P = 0.011) even though the two countries have similar ESCC incidence rates, the frequency of HPV-related ESCC may not be strongly affected by risk factors affecting the incidence of ESCC. HPV-16 genome was more frequently detected in p16 positive carcinomas, although the difference was not statistically significant. HPV-18 detection rate did not show any association with p16 expression. Well-differentiated tumors tended to have either HPV-16 or HPV-18 but the association was not statistically significant. HPV genotypes other than HPV-16 or 18 were not detected in either country. CONCLUSION: HPV-16 and HPV-18 genotypes can be found in ESCC specimens collected from two South American countries. 10Tumor infiltrating lymphocytes in triple negative breast cancer receiving neoadjuvant chemotherapy显示文摘AIM To determine influence of neoadjuvant-chemotherapy(NAC) over tumor-infiltrating-lymphocytes(TIL) intriple-negative-breast-cancer(TNBC).METHODS TILs were evaluated in 98 TNBC cases who came to Instituto Nacional de Enfermedades Neoplasicas from 2005 to 2010. Immunohistochemistry staining for CD3, CD4, CD8 and FOXP3 was performed in tissue microarrays(TMA) sections. Evaluation of H/E in full-face and immunohistochemistry in TMA sections was performed in pre and post-NAC samples. STATA software was used and P value < 0.05 was considered statistically significant. RESULTS Higher TIL evaluated in full-face sections from pre-NAC tumors was associated to pathologic-complete-response(pCR)(P = 0.0251) and outcome(P = 0.0334). TIL evaluated in TMA sections showed low level of agreement with full-face sections(ICC = 0.017-0.20) and was not associated to pCR or outcome. TIL in post-NAC samples were not associated to response or outcome. PostNAC lesions with pC R had similar TIL levels than those without pCR(P = 0.6331). NAC produced a TIL decrease in full-face sections(P < 0.0001). Percentage of TIL subpopulations was correlated with their absolute counts. Higher counts of CD3, CD4, CD8 and FOXP3 in pre-NAC samples had longer disease-free-survival(DFS). Higher counts of CD3 in pre-NAC samples had longer overallsurvival. Higher ratio of CD8/CD4 counts in pre-NAC was associated with pCR. Higher ratio of CD4/FOXP3 counts in pre-NAC was associated with longer DFS. Higher counts of CD4 in post-NAC samples were associated with pCR.CONCLUSION TIL in pre-NAC full-face sections in TNBC are correlated to longer survival. 11高精度铅同位素^207Pb-^204Pb双稀释剂TIMS测试方法显示文摘利用热电离质谱(TIMS)和207Pb-204Pb双稀释法测定低含量Pb岩石样品的同位素比值,可以有效校正由质谱分析造成的同位素分馏效应,提高铅同位素比值测定的精度和准确度。本文利用中国科学院广州地球化学研究所Triton TIMS,建立了207Pb-204Pb双稀释剂测试方法,并对Pb含量为5~20 ng的国际标样SRM981进行3个月的TIMS仪器测定,双稀释剂法外部校正后得到的206Pb/204Pb、207Pb/204Pb和208Pb/204Pb外部精度分别为±0.0034、±0.0046和±0.0100(2sd,n=28)。达到或优于其他国际高水平TIMS实验室双稀释剂法测定精度。同时,运用新方法对国际岩石标样AGV-2和BCR-2进行测定,得到的比值分别为:206Pb/204Pb=18.870±0.006、207Pb/204Pb=15.619±0.003、208Pb/204Pb=38.546±0.012和206Pb/204Pb=18.752±0.011、207Pb/204Pb=15.619±0.005、208Pb/204Pb=38.723±0.020,与国际同类实验室测定结果和精度一致,表明该新建方法是可靠的。运用207Pb-204Pb双稀释剂法对岩石样品进行测定,可获得高精度铅同位素比值,尤其对低含量Pb的基性、超基性地质样品测定有很大的优势。刘希军 王桂琴 CASTILLO P R 许继峰 黄丰 余红霞 陈玲 2013地球化学2013,42,2:6
12Feeding of yeast(Candida spp.) improves in vitro ruminal fermentation of fibrous substrates显示文摘In vitro gas production technique(IVGPT) was used with the objective of determining the inclusion effect of live cells of two strains of Candida yeast on in vitro ruminal fermentation of two fibrous substrates. In order to achieve this, two experiments were performed: A) using oat straw(Avena sativa) as substrate; B) using alfalfa hay(Medicabo sativa) as substrate, comparing the effect of two different strains of Candida genre, both isolated from the rumen, on the mentioned substrates. Levica 25(Candida tropicalis) yeast belongs to the culture collection of the Institute of Animal Science, Cuba, and Levazoot 15(Candida norvegensis) yeast is part of the collection of the Faculty of Zootechnology and Ecology of the Autonomous University of Chihuahua, Mexico. Both strains demonstrated their potential in activating the ruminal fermentation. They stimulated(P<0.0001) the ruminal fermentation of the substrates under study. However, the Levazoot strain stimulated the dry matter(DM) fermentation of alfalfa in 21.43%, more than Levica 25. 13Neuroprotective effects of erythropoietin on neurodegenerative and ischemic brain diseases: the role of erythropoietin receptor显示文摘Erythropoietin(Epo) is a fundamental hormone in the regulation of hematopoiesis, and other secondary roles mediated by the binding of the hormone to its specific receptor(Epo R), which leads to an activation of key signaling pathways that induce an increase in cell differentiation, apoptosis control and neuroprotection. It has been suggested that their function depends on final conformation of glycosylations, related with affinity to the receptor and its half-life. The presence of Epo R has been reported in different tissues including central nervous system, where it has been demonstrated to exert a neuroprotective function against oxidative stress conditions, such as ischemic injury and neurodegenerative diseases. There is also evidence of an increase in Epo R expression in brain cell lysates of Alzheimer's patients with respect to healthy patients. These results are related with extensive in vitro experimental data of neuroprotection obtained from cell lines, primary cell cultures and hippocampal slices. Additionally, this data is correlated with in vivo experiments(water maze test) in mouse models of Alzheimer's disease where Epo treatment improved cognitive function. These studies support the idea that receptor activation induces a neuroprotective effect in neurodegenerative disorders including dementias, and especially Alzheimer's disease. Taken together, available evidence suggests that Epo appears to be a central element for Epo R activation and neuroprotective properties in the central nervous system. 14New perspectives in occult hepatitis C virus infection显示文摘Occult hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection, defined as the presence of HCV RNA in liver and in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) in the absence of detectable viral RNA in serum by standard assays, can be found in anti-HCV positive patients with normal serum levels of liver enzymes and in anti-HCV negative patients with persistently elevated liver enzymes of unknown etiology. Occult HCV infection is distributed worldwide and all HCV genotypes seem to be involved in this infection. Occult hepatitis C has been found not only in anti-HCV positive subjects with normal values of liver enzymes or in chronic hepatitis of unknown origin but also in several groups at risk for HCV infection such as hemodialysis patients or family members of patients with occult HCV. This occult infection has been reported also in healthy populations without evidence of liver disease. Occult HCV infection seems to be less aggressive than chronic hepatitis C although patients affected by occult HCV may develop liver cirrhosis and even hepatocellular carcinoma. Thus, anti-HCV negative patients with occult HCV may benefit from antiviral therapy with pegylated-interferon plus ribavirin. The persistence of very low levels of HCV RNA in serum and in PBMCs, along with the maintenance of specific T-cell responses against HCV-antigens observed during a long-term follow-up of patients with occult hepatitis C, indicate that occult HCV is a persistent infection that is not spontaneously eradicated. 15Global Optimization of Nonlinear Blend-Scheduling Problems显示文摘The scheduling of gasoline-blending operations is an important problem in the oil refining industry. Thisproblem not only exhibits the combinatorial nature that is intrinsic to scheduling problems, but alsonon-convex nonlinear behavior, due to the blending of various materials with different quality properties.In this work, a global optimization algorithm is proposed to solve a previously published continuous-timemixed-integer nonlinear scheduling model for gasoline blending. The model includes blend recipe optimi-zation, the distribution problem, and several important operational features and constraints. The algorithmemploys piecewise McCormick relaxation (PMCR) and normalized multiparametric disaggregation tech-nique (NMDT) to compute estimates of the global optimum. These techniques partition the domain of oneof the variables in a bilinear term and generate convex relaxations for each partition. By increasing the num-ber of partitions and reducing the domain of the variables, the algorithm is able to refine the estimates ofthe global solution. The algorithm is compared to two commercial global solvers and two heuristic methodsby solving four examples from the literature. 17Clinicopathological predictors of long-term benefit in breast cancer treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy显示文摘AIM To investigate the survival impact of clinicopathological factors, including pathological complete response(p CR) and tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes(s TIL) levels according to subtypes, in breast cancer(BC) patients who received neo-adjuvant chemotherapy(NAC).METHODS We evaluated 435 BC patients who presented and received NAC at the Instituto Nacional de Enfermedades Neoplasicas from 2003 to 2014. s TIL was analyzed as the proportion of tumor stroma occupied by lymphocytes, and was prospectively evaluated on hematoxylin and eosin-stained sections of the preN AC core biopsy. p CR was considered in the absence of infiltrating cancer cells in primary tumor and axillary lymph nodes. Analysis of statistical association between clinical pathological features, s TIL, p CR and survival were carried out using SPSSvs19.RESULTS Median age was 49 years(range 24-84 years) and the most frequent clinical stage was ⅢB(58.3%). Luminal A, Luminal B, HER2-enriched and(triple-negative) TN phenotype was found in 24.6%, 37.9%, 17.7% and 19.8%, respectively. p CR was observed in 11% and median percentage of s TIL was 40%(2%-95%) in the whole population. p CR was associated to Ct1-2(P = 0.045) and to high s TIL(P = 0.029) in the whole population. There was a slight trend towards significance for s TIL(P = 0.054) in Luminal A. s TIL was associated with grade Ⅲ(P < 0.001), no-Luminal A subtype(P < 0.001), RE-negative(P < 0.001), PgR-negative(P < 0.001), HER2-positive(P = 0.002) and p CR(P = 0.029) in the whole population. Longer disease-free survival was associated with grade Ⅰ-Ⅱ(P = 0.006), cN 0(P < 0.001), clinical stage Ⅱ(P = 0.004), ER-positive(P < 0.001), Pg R-positive(P < 0.001), luminal A(P < 0.001) and p CR(P = 0.002). Longer disease-free survival was associated with grade Ⅰ-Ⅱ in Luminal A(P < 0.001), N0-1 in Luminal A(P = 0.045) and TNBC(P = 0.01), clinical stage Ⅱ in Luminal A(P = 0.003) and TNBC(P = 0.038), and pC R in TNBC(P < 0.001). Longer overall survival was associated with grade Ⅰ-Ⅱ(P < 0.001), ER-positive(P < 0.001), PgR-positive(P < 0.001), Luminal A(P < 0.001), cN 0(P = 0.002) and p CR(P = 0.002) in the whole population. 19Endothelial progenitor cells as a therapeutic option in intracerebral hemorrhage显示文摘Intracerebral hemorrhage(ICH) is the most severe cerebrovascular disease, which represents a leading cause of death and disability in developed countries. However, therapeutic options are limited, so is mandatory to investigate repairing processes after stroke in order to develop new therapeutic strategies able to promote brain repair processes. Therapeutic angiogenesis and vasculogenesis hold promise to improve outcome of ICH patients. In this regard, circulating endothelial progenitor cells(EPCs) have recently been suggested to be a marker of vascular risk and endothelial function. Moreover, EPC levels have been associated with good neurological and functional outcome as well as reduced residual hematoma volume in ICH patients. Finally, experimental and clinical studies indicate that EPC might mediate endothelial cell regeneration and neovascularization. Therefore, EPC-based therapy could be an excellent therapeutic option in ICH. 20Clinical-pathological and molecular characterization of long-term survivors with advanced non-small cell lung cancer显示文摘Objective:Long-term survivors(LS)of non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)without driver alterations,displaying an overall survival(OS)of more than 3 years,comprise around 10%of cases in several series treated with chemotherapy.There are classical prognosis factors for these cases[stage,Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group(ECOG),etc.],but more data are required in the literature.In this multi-center study,we focused on LS of advanced NSCLC with OS above 36 months to perform a clinical-pathological and molecular characterization.Methods:In the first step,we conducted a clinical-pathological characterization of the patients.Afterwards,we carried out a genetic analysis by comparing LS to a sample of short-term survivors(SS)(with an OS less than 9 months).We initially used whole-genome RNA-seq to identify differentiating profiles of LS and SS,and later confirmed these with reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)for the rest of the samples.Results:A total of 94 patients were included,who were mainly men,former smokers,having adenocarcinoma(AC)-type NSCLC with an ECOG of 0-1.We obtained an initial differential transcriptome expression,displaying 5 over-and 33 under-expressed genes involved in different pathways:namely,the secretin receptor,surfactant protein,trefoil factor 1(T FF1),serpin,Ca-channels,and Tolllike receptor(TLRs)families.Finally,RT-PCR analysis of 40(20 LS/20 SS)samples confirmed that four genes(surfactant proteins and SFTP)were significantly down-regulated in SS compared to LS by using an analysis of covariance(ANCOVA)model:SFTPA1(P=0.023),SFTPA2(P=0.027),SFTPB{P=0.02),and SFT PC(P=0.047).Conclusions:We present a sequential genetic analysis of a sample of NSCLCLS with no driver alterations,obtaining a differential RNA-seq/RT-PCR profile showing an abnormal expression of SF genes.Juan Moreno-Rubio Santiago Ponce Rosa Alvarez Maria Eugenia Olmedo Sandra Falagan Xabier Mielgo Fatima Navarro Patricia Cruz Luis Cabezon-Gutierrez Carlos Aguado Gonzalo Colmenarejo Marta Munoz-Fernandez de Leglaria Ana Belen Enguita Maria Cebollero Amparo Benito Isabel Alemany Carolina del Castillo Ricardo Ramos Ana Ramirez de Molina Enrique Casado Maria Sereno 2020Cancer Biology & Medicine2020,17,2:4
