| 2 | Dynamic-Change Laws of the Porosity and Permeability of Low-to Medium-Rank Coals under Heating and Pressurization Treatments in the Eastern Junggar Basin,China显示文摘Deep coalbed methane exists in high-temperature and high-pressure reservoirs. To elucidate the dynamic-change laws of the deep coal reservoir porosity and permeability characteristics in the process of coalbed methane production, based on three pieces of low-to medium-rank coal samples in the eastern Junggar Basin, Xinjiang, we analyse their mercury-injection pore structures. We measured the porosity and permeability of the coal samples at various temperatures and confining pressures by high-temperature and confining pressure testing. The results show that the porosity of a coal sample decreases exponentially with increasing effective stress. With increasing temperature, the initial porosity increases for two pieces of relatively low-rank coal samples. The increased rate of porosity decreases with increasing confining pressure. With increasing temperature, the initial porosity of a relatively high-rank coal sample decreases, and the rate of change of the porosity become faster. An exponential relationship exists between the porosity and permeability. With increasing coal rank, the initial porosity and permeability decrease. | 4 | Unraveling a genetic roadmap for improved taste in the domesticated apple显示文摘Although taste is an important aspect of fruit quality, an understanding of its genetic control remains elusive in apple and other fruit crops. In this study, we conducted genomic sequence analysis of 497 Malus accessions and revealed erosion of genetic diversity caused by apple breeding and possible independent domestication events of dessert and cider apples. Signatures of selection for fruit acidity and size, but not for fruit sugar content, were detected during the processes of both domestication and improvement. Furthermore, we found that single mutations in major genes affecting fruit taste, including Ma1, MdTDT, and MdSOT2, dramatically decrease malate, citrate, and sorbitol accumulation, respectively, and correspond to important domestication events. Interestingly, Ma1 was identified to have pleiotropic effects on both organic acid content and sugar:acid ratio, suggesting that it plays a vital role in determining fruit taste. Fruit taste is unlikely to have been negatively affected by linkage drag associated with selection for larger fruit that resulted from the pyramiding of multiple genes with minor effects on fruit size. | 5 | Numerical study of ambient pressure for laser-induced bubble near a rigid boundary显示文摘The dynamics of the laser-induced bubble at different ambient pressures was numerically studied by Finite Volume Method (FVM). The velocity of the bubble wall, the liquid jet velocity at collapse, and the pressure of the water hammer while the liquid jet impacting onto the boundary are found to increase nonlinearly with increasing ambient pressure. The collapse time and the formation time of the liquid jet are found to decrease nonlinearly with increasing ambient pressure. The ratios of the jet formation time to the collapse time, and the displacement of the bubble center to the maximal radius while the jet formation stay invariant when ambient pressure changes. | 7 | Organosilicon modified method to improve Li^+ storage capacity of graphene oxide (GO)显示文摘Organosilicon modified reduced graphene oxide(Mr GO) has been fabricated by direct organosilicon modification of graphene oxide(GO). Interestingly,it is observed that 3D rGO-like structures occurred after directly carrying out the organosilicon modification on the surface of GO. The obtained organosilicon Mr GO displays the more remarkable improvement of electrochemical performances than GO,which was verified by electrochemical measurements in detail. For instance,the organosilicon MrGO shows the cycling performances at 901 mA hg^-1 after 200 cycles at 0.1 Ag^-1 and 446 mA hg^-1 after 300 cycles at 2.0 Ag^-1,respectively. | 11 | Genome-wide signatures of the geographic expansion and breeding of soybean显示文摘Soybean is a leguminous crop that provides oil and protein. Exploring the genomic signatures of soybean evolution is crucial for breeding varieties with improved adaptability to environmental extremes. We analyzed the genome sequences of 2,214 soybeans and proposed a soybean evolutionary route, i.e., the expansion of annual wild soybean(Glycine soja Sieb. & Zucc.) from southern China and its domestication in central China, followed by the expansion and local breeding selection of its landraces(G. max(L.) Merr.). We observed that the genetic introgression in soybean landraces was mostly derived from sympatric rather than allopatric wild populations during the geographic expansion. Soybean expansion and breeding were accompanied by the positive selection of flowering time genes, including GmSPA3c. | 12 | Genotypes Diversity of Acute Gastroenteritis Outbreaks Caused by Human Sapovirus-Beijing Municipality,China,2015-2021显示文摘Introduction:Human sapovirus(HuSaV)is an enteric virus responsible for sporadic cases and outbreaks of acute gastroenteritis(AGE)globally.A seven-year active surveillance study was conducted to investigate the molecular epidemiology of HuSaVs associated with AGE outbreaks in Chaoyang District of Beijing Municipality,China from January 2015 to December 2021.Methods:Fecal and anal swab samples were obtained from patients experiencing AGE outbreaks.HuSaVs were identified through reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR),and partial viral protein 1(VP1)sequences(approximately 434 base pairs)were utilized for genotyping,single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)analysis,and phylogenetic examination.Results:HuSaVs were identified in 71 AGE outbreaks,demonstrating a detection rate of 10.5%,second only to norovirus.The primary demographic affected by HuSaV were children under the age of 5 in kindergarten settings.Infection rates tended to peak during two distinct periods:May to June and September to December.Upon genotyping,seven distinct genotypes emerged.GII.3 was the most prevalent,accounting for 54.9%of cases,followed by GI.1(12.7%),GI.2(9.9%),GII.5(7.0%),GI.5(2.8%),GI.6(1.4%),GII.1(1.4%),and untyped cases(9.9%).A phylogenetic analysis of GII.3 identified three distinct groups,with 15 notable SNPs observed.Conclusions:This study offers a comprehensive analysis of the persistent prevalence of HuSaV outbreaks in Chaoyang District,Beijing Municipality,China.Over time,the diversity of HuSaV subtypes has shifted,and it is now recognized as the second leading viral agent responsible for AGE outbreaks.This highlights the importance of ongoing surveillance in the future. | Yang Jiao Taoli Han Xiao Qi Yan Gao Jianhong Zhao Yue Zhang Beibei Li Zheng Zhang Jialiang Du Lingli Sun | 2023 | China CDC weekly2023,5,28: | 1 |

| 15 | Plasma preparation method and tribological properties of diamond-like carbon coating on magnesium alloy AZ31 substrate显示文摘Magnesium alloys are light weight and exhibit good recyclability but suffer from low hardness and wear resistance.In this study,the hardness and wear resistance of AZ31 magnesium alloy were improved by depositing diamond-like carbon(DLC)films as hard protective coatings using ion-beam-enhanced deposition with various CH4/H2 ratio,gas flow rates and accelerating voltages.The supporting effect of the magnesium alloy was enhanced by the production of a graded interfacial layer which is composed of film atoms and substrate atoms.The composition and mechanical properties of the DLC coatings were characterized using scanning electron microscopy(SEM),Raman spectroscopy,Rockwell test and nano-indentor.The tribological properties of the coating were also investigated using a frictional surface microscope with an in situ observation system and friction force measurements.The DLC films were characterized by a lower intensity ratio of the D-peak to G-peak(ID/IG),higher hardness,and improved tribological properties when deposited at a lower accelerating voltage(6 kV).At the CH4/H2 ratio of 1:99 and 6 sccm/6 kV,minimum ID/IG values of 0.62,relatively low friction force value of 0.12 N,and a maximum hardness of 4056HV were attained respectively.In addition,the DLC film exhibited improved wear resistance and a shallower wear track at this condition. | HAN BeiBei JU DongYing SATO Susumu ZHAO HuiJun | 2019 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2019,62,11: | 1 |

| 20 | Expression Pattern of phb2 and Its Potential Function in Spermatogenesis of Scallop(Chlamys farreri)显示文摘Prohibitin(PHB) participates in several biological processes including apoptosis, transcription regulation and suppression of cell proliferation in mammals. In this study, we cloned the full-length c DNA of prohibitin 2(Cf-phb2) from the testis of scallop(Chlamys farreri). The deduced amino acid sequence presented a characteristic of PHB family with the PHB domain, and clustered with PHB2 of other species. Temporal and spatial expression of Cf-phb2 in testis during the reproductive cycle was detected by quantitative real-time PCR(q RT-PCR) and in situ hybridization. The expression of Cf-phb2 in the testis increased when testis developed from the resting stage to mature stage. The m RNA abundance of Cf-phb2 was the highest at mature stage, which was about 15-fold higher than that at proliferative stage. The expression of Cf-phb2 could be detected by in situ hybridization in all types of germ cells in testis, including spermatogonia, spermatocytes, spermatids and spermatozoa.
