1Cell cycle-related kinase reprograms the liver immune microenvironment to promote cancer metastasis显示文摘The liver is an immunologically tolerant organ and a common metastatic site of multiple cancer types.Although a role for cancer cell invasion programs has been well characterized,whether and how liver-intrinsic factors drive metastatic spread is incompletely understood.Here,we show that aberrantly activated hepatocyte-intrinsic cell cycle-related kinase(CCRK)signaling in chronic liver diseases is critical for cancer metastasis by reprogramming an immunosuppressive microenvironment.Using an inducible liverspecific transgenic model,we found that CCRK overexpression dramatically increased both B16F10 melanoma and MC38 colorectal cancer(CRC)metastasis to the liver,which was highly infiltrated by polymorphonuclear-myeloid-derived suppressor cells(PMNMDSCs)and lacking natural killer T(NKT)cells.Depletion of PMN-MDSCs in CCRK transgenic mice restored NKT cell levels and their interferon gamma production and reduced liver metastasis to 2.7% and 0.7%(metastatic tumor weights)in the melanoma and CRC models,respectively.Mechanistically,CCRK activated nuclear factor-kappa B(NF-κB)signaling to increase the PMN-MDSC trafficking chemokine C-X-C motif ligand 1(CXCL1),which was positively correlated with liver-infiltrating PMN-MDSC levels in CCRK transgenic mice.Accordingly,CRC liver metastasis patients exhibited hyperaaivation of hepatic CCRK/NF-κB/CXCL1 signaling,which was associated with accumulation of PMN-MDSCs and paucity of NKT cells compared to healthy liver transplantation donors.In summary,this study demonstrates that immunosuppressive reprogramming by hepatic CCRK signaling undermines antimetastatic immunosurveillance.Our findings offer new mechanistic insights and therapeutic targets for liver metastasis intervention.Xuezhen Zeng Jingying Zhou Zhewen Xiong Hanyong Sun Weiqin Yang Myth T.S.Mok Jing Wang Jingqing Li Man Liu Wenshu Tang Yu Feng Hector Kwong-Sang W ang Shun-Wa Tsang King-Lau Chow Philip Chun Yeung John Wong Paul Bo-San Lai Anthony Wing-Hung Chan Ka Fai To Stephen Lam Chan Qiang Xia Jing Xue Xiao Chen Jun Yu Sui Peng Joseph Jao-Yiu Sung Ming Kuang Alfred Sze-Lok Cheng 2021Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,4:5

3Gas metal arc welding of high nitrogen stainless steel with AreN_(2)-O_(2)ternary shielding gas显示文摘High nitrogen stainless steel with nitrogen content of 0.75%was welded by gas metal arc welding with Ar-N_(2)-O_(2)ternary shielding gas.The effect of the ternary shielding gas on the retention and improvement of nitrogen content in the weld was identified.Surfacing test was conducted first to compare the ability of O_(2)and CO_(2)in prompting nitrogen dissolution.The nitrogen content of the surfacing metal with O_(2)is slightly higher than CO_(2).And then AreN_(2)-O_(2)shielding gas was applied to weld high nitrogen stainless steel.After using N_(2)-containing shielding gas,the nitrogen content of the weld was improved by 0.1 wt%.As N_(2)continued to increase,the increment of nitrogen content was not obvious,but the ferrite decreased from the top to the bottom.When the proportion of N_(2)reached 20%,a full austenitic weld was obtained and the tensile strength was improved by 8.7%.Combined with the results of surfacing test and welding test,it is concluded that the main effect of N_(2)is to inhibit the escape of nitrogen and suppress the nitrogen diffusion from bottom to the top in the molten pool.Zeng Liu Cheng-lei Fan Zhu Ming Chao Chen Ang Liu Chun-li Yang San-bao Lin Lang-ping Wang 2021Defence Technology(防务技术)2021,17,3:2
4Facial microcystic adnexal carcinoma-treatment with a “jigsaw puzzle” advancement flap and immediate esthetic reconstruction: A case report显示文摘BACKGROUND Microcystic adnexal carcinoma(MAC)is a rare malignant tumor of the skin that is commonly found on the face.It grows slowly and has a low mortality rate.However,for various reasons,including strong histological invasiveness,clinical inexperience and inadequate procedure design,immediate or permanent facial deformity may occur after surgical operations.CASE SUMMARY This article describes a middle-aged female artist who was diagnosed with MAC on the left upper lip.She declined the recommended treatment plan,which included two-stage reconstruction,skin grafting,or surgery that could have resulted in obvious facial dysfunction or esthetic deformity.We accurately designed a personalized procedure involving a“jigsaw puzzle advancement flap”for the patient based on the lesion location and the estimated area of skin loss.The procedure was successful;both pathological R0 resection and immediate and long-term esthetic reconstruction effects were achieved.CONCLUSION This study suggests that when treating facial MAC or other skin malignancies,a surgical team should have sufficient plastic surgery-related knowledge and skills.An optimal surgical plan for an individual is needed to achieve good facial esthetics and functional recovery and shorten the treatment course.Yi-Ding Xiao Ming-Zi Zhang Ang Zeng 2021World Journal of Clinical Cases2021,9,3:2
5Expander implantation for correction of high-riding nipple with enlarged nipple-areola complex using revision mastopexy: A case report显示文摘BACKGROUND High-riding nipple is one of the common complications after mastopexty and breast reconstruction.However,to date,a limited number of techniques have concentrated on how to lower the high-riding nipple with enlarged areola.CASE SUMMARY This is a case report describing a combination of surgical techniques to decrease high-riding nipple.A 26-year-old woman,who previously underwent several breast operations,sought correction for high-riding nipple with enlarged areola.Expanders were used and multi-stage techniques were performed.After one year of follow-up,lowered nipple,reduced areola size,ensured nipple blood supply,and improved breast ptosis were achieved,and the patient was satisfied with the breast contour.CONCLUSION The proposed technique offers a feasible treatment option for postoperative nipple over-elevation combined with areola dilation.Feng Qin Nan-Ze Yu Elan Yang Ang Zeng Yan Hao Lin Zhu Xiao-Jun Wang 2020World Journal of Clinical Cases2020,8,9:1

12Giant piezoresponse and promising application of environmental friendly small-ion-doped ZnO显示文摘In recent years,with the growing concerns on environmental protection and human health,new materials,such as lead-free piezoelectric materials,have received increasing attention.So far,three types of lead-free piezoelectric systems have been widely researched,i.e.,perovskites,bismuth layer-structured ferroelectrics,and tungsten-bronze type ferroelectrics.This article presents a new type of environmental friendly piezoelectric material with simple structure,the transition-metal(TM)-doped ZnO.Through substituting Zn2+ site with small size ion,we obtained a series of TM-doped ZnO with giant piezoresponse,such as Zn0.975V0.025O of 170 pC/N,Zn0.94Cr0.06O of 120 pC/N,Zn0.913Mn0.087O of 86 pC/N and Zn0.988Fe0.012O of 127 pC/N.The tremendous piezoresponses are ascribed to the introduction of switchable spontaneous polarization and high permittivity in TM-doped ZnO.The microscopic origin of giant piezoresponse is also discussed.Substitution of TM ion with small ionic size for Zn2+ results in the easier rotation of noncollinear TM-O1 bonds along the c axis under the applied field,which produces large piezoelectric displacement and corresponding piezoresponse enhancement.Furthermore,it proposes a general rule to guide the design of new wurtzite semiconductors with enhanced piezoresponses.That is,TM-dopant with ionic size smaller than Zn2+ substitutes for Zn2+ site will increase the piezoresponse of ZnO significantly.Finally,we discuss the improved performances of some TM-doped ZnO based piezoelectric devices.PAN Feng LUO JingTing ANG YuChao WANG XuBo ZENG Fei 2012Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,2:0
13Ultrahigh-performance planar β-Ga2O3 solar-blind Schottky photodiode detectors显示文摘The low dark current, high responsivity and high specific detectivity could be preferably achieved in detectors based on junctions, owing to the efficient constraint of carriers. Compared with the other junctions, planar Schottky junctions have simple structures and technological demands and are easy integrated. Herein, in this work, we prepared the β-Ga_(2)O_(3) thin film by metalorganic chemical vapor deposition method to construct planar Ti/β-Ga2O3/Ni Schottky photodiode detectors with different onstate resistances. Fortunately, all the devices exhibit state-of-the-art performances, such as responsivity of 175–1372 A W^(-1),specific detectivity of 10^(14) Jones and external quantum efficiency of 85700%–671500%. 17Abnormally large short-term and impending earthquake geomagnetic anomaly implies a possibility of earthquake pre-warning显示文摘The study found that strong magnetic anomalies repeatedly took place before big earthquakes. Based on geomagnetic record analysis results,we discussed a possible pattern of the magnetic anomalies prior to earthquake. In meizoseismal area or epicenter,in a time period of 36 h to about 10 min before earthquake,the exceptional big geomagnetic change increases with the magnitude of earthquake. We calculated that,in a place of 1 km from the epicenter,the magnetic anomaly before destructive earthquakes of Ms 6~9 can reach to 102~104 nT(the magnitude of earth magnetic field is 104 nT) ,rather than the magnitude of 10 nT from seismomagnetic effect theories since 1960s. From this we speculated the abnormal magnetic ULF near epicenter before earthquake seems to be an 'intermittent magnetic eruption'. 19Perinipple Broken Line Incision: a Novel Approach for Breast Augmentation显示文摘Objective To investigate reliability of the infra-nipple broken line incision for breast augmentation. Methods From January 2012 to January 2013, 15 patients underwent primary bilateral retromuscular breast augmentation with round textured silicone-gel implants and a novel infra-nipple broken line incision. Preoperatively, a semicircular incision was marked along the inferior base of the nipple. It was then extended bilaterally using two transverse right-angled geometric broken lines within the pigmented areolar skin. Follow-up was performed to evaluate the sensation of nipple-areolar complex, the scar, and the shape and texture of the breasts. Results The average follow-up was 6.7 months. Most of the patients complained of paresthesia of the nipple or breast skin, but transient decreased sensation improved within 3 months. No patients showed permanent sensory changes of the nipple areolar complex at a minimum follow-up of 4 months. The scars were imperceptible in all patients. 20Characteristics and close-range exploration methods of near- Earth asteroid 2016HO_(3)显示文摘The characteristics of asteroids are vital parameters for planning asteroid exploration missions.These characteristics have been explored in close range for some typical asteroids,and are summarized in the article.This allows estimates of the characteristics of asteroid 2016HO_(3),the target of the first Chinese asteroid exploration mission,Tianwen 2.We obtain 80 characteristic parameters in 9 categories and analyze their impacts on the mission.By comparing three close-range exploration modes,we provide advantages and disadvantages of each,and propose suitable methods for the exploration of 2016HO_(3).Owing to the weak gravity and small size of 2016HO_(3),a combination of multiple hovering positions and active orbiting is recommended for scientific exploration.He Zhang Fei Li Linzhi Meng Fuming Zeng Xiaoyu Jia Yu’ang Liu 2024Astronomical Techniques and Instruments2024,1,1:0
