1Full-thickness tissue engineered skin constructed with autogenic bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells显示文摘To explore the feasibility of repairing clinical cutaneous deficiency, autogenic bone marrow mesen-chymal stem cells (BMSCs) were isolated and differentiated into epidermal cells and fibroblasts in vitro supplemented with different inducing factors and biomaterials to construct functional tissue- engineered skin. The results showed that after 72 h induction, BMSCs displayed morphologic changes such as typical epidermal cell arrangement, from spindle shape to round or oval; tonofibrils, melano-somes and keratohyaline granules were observed under a transmission electronic microscope. The differentiated cells expressed epidermal stem cell surface marker CK19 (59.66% ± 4.2%) and epidermal cells differentiation marker CK10. In addition, the induced epidermal cells acquired the anti-radiation capacity featured by lowered apoptosis following exposure to UVB. On the other hand, the collagen microfibrils deposition was noticed under a transmission electronic microscope after differentiating into dermis fibroblasts; RT-PCR identified collagen type I mRNA expression in differentiated cells; radioimmunoassay detected the secretion of interleukin-6 (IL-6) and interleukin-8 (IL-8) (up to 115.06 pg/mL and 0.84 ng/mL, respectively). Further in vivo implanting BMSCs with scaffold material short-ened skin wound repair significantly. 2Influence of surfactants on the morphology and photocatalytic activity of Bi_2WO_6 by hydrothermal synthesis显示文摘The flower-like microsphere Bi2WO6 with an average diameter of 2.5 μm is synthesized by a simple hydrothermal method in the presence of surfactant sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) or polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP).The crystalline phase,compositions,morphology,microstructure,surface area and band gap energy of the Bi2WO6 are characterized by X-ray diffraction,X-ray energy-dispersive spectrum,scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy and absorption spectra.It is found that surfactant has a significant influence on the microstructure and properties of the samples.The surfactant SDS enhances the surface area and photocatalytic activity of Bi2WO6,while the surfactant PVP has an opposite effect.Under Xe lamp irradiation,the Bi2WO6 sample prepared in the presence of SDS can degrade dye Rhodamine B (RhB) effectively.HUANG Yi,WU JiHuai,HUANG MiaoLiang,LIN JianMing & HUANG YunFang Engineering Research Center of Environment-Friendly Functional Materials,Ministry of Education Institute of Materials Physical Chemistry,Huaqiao University,Quanzhou 362021,China 2011Science China Chemistry2011,54,1:6
3Halide Homogenization for High-Performance Blue Perovskite Electroluminescence显示文摘Metal halide perovskite light-emitting diodes(LEDs)have achieved great progress in recent years.However,bright and spectrally stable blue perovskite LED remains a significant challenge.Three-dimensional mixed-halide perovskites have potential to achieve high brightness electroluminescence,but their emission spectra are unstable as a result of halide phase separation.Here,we reveal that there is already heterogeneous distribution of halides in the as-deposited perovskite films,which can trace back to the nonuniform mixture of halides in the precursors.By simply introducing cationic surfactants to improve the homogeneity of the halides in the precursor solution,we can overcome the phase segregation issue and obtain spectrally stable single-phase blueemitting perovskites.We demonstrate efficient blue perovskite LEDs with high brightness,e.g.,luminous efficacy of 4.7,2.9,and 0.4 lmW^(-1) and luminance of over 37,000,9,300,and 1,300 cdm^(-2) for sky blue,blue,and deep blue with Commission Internationale de l’Eclairage(CIE)coordinates of(0.068,0.268),(0.091,0.165),and(0.129,0.061),respectively,suggesting real promise of perovskites for LED applications.Lu Cheng Chang Yi Yunfang Tong Lin Zhu Gunnar Kusch Xiaoyu Wang Xinjiang Wang Tao Jiang Hao Zhang Ju Zhang Chen Xue Hong Chen Wenjie Xu Dawei Liu Rachel AOliver Richard HFriend Lijun Zhang Nana Wang Wei Huang Jianpu Wang 2020Research2020,,1:4
4High-Performance and Hysteresis-Free Perovskite Solar Cells Based on Rare-Earth-Doped SnO_(2) Mesoporous Scaffold显示文摘Tin oxide(SnO_(2)),as electron transport material to substitute titanium oxide(TiO_(2))in perovskite solar cells(PSCs),has aroused wide interests.However,the performance of the PSCs based on SnO_(2) is still hard to compete with the TiO_(2)-based devices.Herein,a novel strategy is designed to enhance the photovoltaic performance and long-term stability of PSCs by integrating rare-earth ions Ln^(3+)(Sc^(3+),Y^(3+),La^(3+))with SnO_(2) nanospheres as mesoporous scaffold.The doping of Ln promotes the formation of dense and large-sized perovskite crystals,which facilitate interfacial contact of electron transport layer/perovskite layer and improve charge transport dynamics.Ln dopant optimizes the energy level of perovskite layer,reduces the charge transport resistance,and mitigates the trap state density.As a result,the optimized mesoporous PSC achieves a champion power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 20.63%without hysteresis,while the undoped PSC obtains an efficiency of 19.01%.The investigation demonstrates that the rare-earth doping is low-cost and effective method to improve the photovoltaic performance of SnO_(2)-based PSCs.Qiyao Guo Jihuai Wu Yuqian Yang Xuping Liu Zhang Lan Jianming Lin Miaoliang Huang Yuelin Wei Jia Dong Jinbiao Jia Yunfang Huang 2019Research2019,,1:3
5Proliferation and differentiation into endothelial cells of human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) on poly DL-lactic-co-glycolic acid (PLGA) films显示文摘The functional realization is the most important problem in vascular tissue engineering. The small-caliber blood vessel substitutes are prone to thrombi, which results in functional loss of blood vessels. However, this is probably due to the imper- fection of endothelial layer in the substitutes. In this study, MSCs were seeded on a series of porous PLGA films with various porosity and pore size made by sodium chloride (NaCl) particulate leaching, and cell proliferation on each film was inspected. The film made of the 75% (w/w) particulate proportion and 30―50 μm pore size maximized the proliferation rate and was chosen as the scaffolds for the differentia- tion of MSCs into endothelial cells. The induced cells expressed endothelial cells specific Flk-1, Ⅷ factor and CD34, possessed endothelial cells specific Weible-palade (W-P) body, and had the abilities of ingesting low density lipoprotein and secreting prostacyclin (PGI2). 6Application of a novel redox-active electrolyte in MnO_2-based supercapacitors显示文摘This paper reports a novel strategy for preparing redox-active electrolyte through introducing a redox-mediator(p-phenylenediamine,PPD) into KOH electrolyte for the application of ball-milled MnO 2-based supercapacitors.The morphology and compositions of ball-milled MnO 2 were characterized using scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and X-ray diffraction(XRD).The electrochemical properties of the supercapacitor were evaluated by cyclic voltammetry(CV),galvanostatic charge-discharge(GCD),and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS) techniques.The introduction of p-phenylenediamine significantly improves the performance of the supercapacitor.The electrode specific capacitance of the supercapacitor is 325.24 F g-1,increased by 6.25 folds compared with that of the unmodified system(44.87 F g-1) at the same current density,and the energy density has nearly a 10-fold increase,reaching 10.12 Wh Kg-1.In addition,the supercapacitor exhibits good cycle-life stability.YU HaiJun WU JiHuai FAN LeQing LIN YouZhen CHEN ShuHong CHEN Yuan WANG JiangLi HUANG MiaoLiang LIN JianMing LAN Zhang HUANG YunFang 2012Science China Chemistry2012,55,7:3

10A Comparative Study About the Neuroprotective Effects of EPA-Enriched Phosphoethanolamine Plasmalogen and Phosphatidylethanolamine Against Oxidative Damage in Primary Hippocampal Neurons显示文摘s Oxidative stress is involved in the progression of neurodegenerative diseases.Previous evidences showed that plasma-logens could improve neurodegenerative diseases.In this study,we investigated the function of phosphoethanolamine plasmalogens enriched with EPA(EPA-pPE)and phosphatidylethanolamine enriched with EPA(EPA-PE)on oxidative damage prevention after hy-drogen peroxide(H2O2)and tert-butylhydroperoxide(t-BHP)challenge in primary hippocampal neurons.Results showed that neurons pretreated with EPA-pPE and EPA-PE demonstrated the ability to alleviate oxidative damage,which was proved by the in-creased cell viability.Moreover,the shape and number of neurons were more similar to those of the control group.Antioxidant acti-vity,apoptosis,as well as TrkB/ERK/CREB signaling pathway were investigated to explore the mechanisms.The results suggested that EPA-PE was superior to EPA-pPE in regulating mitochondrial apoptosis.EPA-pPE was more prominent than EPA-PE in upre-gulating TrkB/ERK/CREB signaling pathway.Phospholipids with EPA exerted neuroprotective effects via inhibiting oxidative stress,suppressing apoptosis,and regulating TrkB/ERK/CREB signaling pathway.Therefore,the results provide a scientific basis for utili-zation of phospholipids enriched with EPA on the treatment of neurodegenerative disease.ZHU Yunfang ZHANG Tiantian DING Lin SHI Haohao XUE Changhu XIE Wancui CHE Hongxia WANG Yuming 2021Journal of Ocean University of China2021,20,5:1

16Local Anomalies of the Load-Unload Response of the Geomagnetic Field to Solar Wind and Earthquakes in Southwest China显示文摘Many earthquakes occurred during the period 1994 -1996 in Sichuan and Yunnan Provinces, Southwest China. Taking the process of the initial main phase recovery phase of the magnetic storm as the process of load-unload response of the geomagnetic field to the solar wind, we have estimated and analyzed the distribution in time and space of the load-unload response ratio P(z) of the storm time disturbance daily variation of the vertical component Z of the geomagnetic field at ten stations in Southwest China. We found that the area with high ratio P(z) was just the area where moderately strong earthquakes would occur from 44 days to 15 months later. 17Abnormally large short-term and impending earthquake geomagnetic anomaly implies a possibility of earthquake pre-warning显示文摘The study found that strong magnetic anomalies repeatedly took place before big earthquakes. Based on geomagnetic record analysis results,we discussed a possible pattern of the magnetic anomalies prior to earthquake. In meizoseismal area or epicenter,in a time period of 36 h to about 10 min before earthquake,the exceptional big geomagnetic change increases with the magnitude of earthquake. We calculated that,in a place of 1 km from the epicenter,the magnetic anomaly before destructive earthquakes of Ms 6~9 can reach to 102~104 nT(the magnitude of earth magnetic field is 104 nT) ,rather than the magnitude of 10 nT from seismomagnetic effect theories since 1960s. From this we speculated the abnormal magnetic ULF near epicenter before earthquake seems to be an 'intermittent magnetic eruption'.
