| 1 | Multiscale modeling of mechanical behavior and failure mechanism of 3D angle-interlock woven aluminum composites subjected to warp/weft directional tension loading显示文摘The mechanical behavior and progressive damage mechanism of novel aluminum matrix composites reinforced with 3D angle-interlock woven carbon fibers were investigated using a multiscale modeling approach.The mechanical properties and failure of yarns were evaluated using a microscale model under different loading scenarios.On this basis,a mesoscale model was developed to analyze the tensile behavior and failure mechanism of the composites.The interfacial decohesion,matrix damage,and failure of fibers and yarns were incorporated into the microscopic and mesoscopic models.The stress–strain curves and fracture modes from simulation show good agreement with the experimental curves and fracture morphology.Local interface and matrix damage initiate first under warp directional tension.Thereafter,interfacial failure,weft yarn cracking,and matrix failure occur successively.Axial fracture of warp yarn,which displays a quasi-ductile fracture characteristic,dominates the ultimate composites failure.Under weft directional tension,interfacial failure and warp yarn rupture occur at the early and middle stages.Matrix failure and weft yarn fracture emerge simultaneously at the final stage,leading to the cata-strophic failure of composites.The weft directional strength and fracture strain are lower than the warp directional ones because of the lower weft density and the more serious brittle fracture of weft yarns. | Zhenjun WANG Siyuan YANG Shiping SUN Yingfeng ZHANG Changchun CAI Bowen XIONG Wei YANG Zhifeng XU Huan YU | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,8: | 4 |
| 2 | Geochronology and Geochemical Characteristics of Intrusion in the Jinchangliang Gold Deposit,Inner Mongolia and Their Tectonic Significance显示文摘Discovered and mined in recent years, the Jinchangliang gold deposit has not yet been studied in its genetic type. In this paper, the geological features of ore deposit, S isotopic composition, metallogenic age and elements geochemical of the granite closely related to mineralization were discussed. The results of the geological features of ore deposit and S isotopic composition show that ore-bearing hydrothermal solution was closely related with the intrusion of magmatic. The granite is characteristic of high silica SiO_2=72.38%–72.98%, high aluminum and Al_2O_3=14.22%–14.35%, low calcium CaO=0.16% –0.26%, and low value of FeOT/MgO(6.86–7.73), and rich in alkalis Na_2O+K_2O=9.11%–9.24%, suggesting that it is high-K calc-alkaline, highly fractionated, weak aluminum A-type granite. The REE patterns are inclined to right and show intense fractionation between LREE and HREE, without obvious negative Eu anomaly(δEu=0.80–0.84). The primitive mantle-normalized spidergrams are characterized by depletion of Ba, U, Ta, Nb, Zr, Ti and P, which implies that the granite has the characteristics of the crust-mantle mixing. S isotopes also indicate that the material source of gold deposit is closely related to the granite rocks. The LA-ICP-MS Zircon UPb age of the Damiao rock mass medium-fine grained monzogranite(belonging to the early IndoChina) is(245±1) Ma. It shows that Jinchangliang gold deposit was not formed in Yanshanian, but the early Indo-China. | 4 | Computer Simulation of Mechanical Properties of Nano-scale Cu/FeS Composite显示文摘The mechanical properties of nano-scale Cu/FeS composite were simulated by molecular dynamics (MD) simulation in this paper. Through the analysis on the stress-strain curves, the results of MD simulation were in good agreement with mechanisms of macroscopic deformation. When the size of particles was smaller than a certain value, the relationship between yield strength and size, which was different from the large size crystals abided by the contrary Hall-Petch relationship. Based on the discussion of nano-scale Cu/FeS composite, some interesting conclusions were obtained. For example, the 'S' type curves were discovered in stress-strain curves and the anisotropy of FeS was very evident when the exposures of reinforcing phase (FeS) were different and so on. The basic theories and calculations of the composite that contains nano-scale particles were discussed. | 5 | Spatial variations in the trophic status of Favia palauensis corals in the South China Sea:Insights into their different adaptabilities under contrasting environmental conditions显示文摘Scleractinian corals exhibit a dual trophic pattern of autotrophic photosynthesis and heterotrophic predation.However,whether corals can adjust their trophic status under contrasting environmental conditions remains unclear.In our study,70 scleractinian corals(Favia palauensis)were collected from Sanya and the Xisha and Nansha Islands in the South China Sea.We measured the zooxanthellae density(ZD)andδ^(13)C of zooxanthellae(δ^(13)C_(z))and host tissue(δ^(13)C_(h))and analyzed the difference betweenδ^(13)C_(h) andδ^(13)C_(z)(i.e.,△^(h-z)^(13)C).The relatively high ZD andδ^(13)C_(z) values in the samples from Sanya indicate that these corals might have higher photosynthetic rates and autotrophic abilities than those from Xisha and Nansha.In contrast,the relatively lowδ^(13)C_(h) and△^(h-z)^(13)C values in the samples from Xisha and Nansha suggest that these corals might have a higher heterotrophic ability than those from Sanya.In addition,we tested the coral tissue biomass and skeletalδ^(13)C(δ^(13)C_(s))in the samples from Sanya and examined their correlations with△^(h-z)^(13)C.The results showed a negative correlation,indicating that the more the organic material produced by the coral,the stronger its heterotrophic ability.Our results show that corals can adjust their trophic status under different environmental and physiological conditions,which is essential for increasing their adaptability to different environmental conditions. | Shendong XU Zhinan ZHANG Kefu YU Xueyong HUANG Hanji CHEN Zhenjun QIN Risheng LIANG | 2021 | Science China Earth Sciences2021,64,6: | 2 |

| 7 | Development of a Widely Applicable and Simple Prognostic Score for Patients with Acute-on-chronic Liver Failure显示文摘Background and Aims:Acute-on-chronic liver failure(ACLF)tends to progress rapidly with high short-term mortality.We aimed to create a widely applicable,simple prognostic(WASP)score for ACLF patients.Methods:A retrospective cohort of ACLF cases recruited from three centers in China were divided into training and validation sets to develop the new score.A prospective longitudinal cohort was recruited for further validation.Results:A total of 541 cases were included in the training set,and seven independent ACLF prognostic factors were screened to construct a new quantitative WASP-ACLF table.In the validation set of 671 cases,WASP-ACLF showed better predictive ability for 28-day and 90-day mortality than the currently used prognostic scores at baseline,day 3,week 1,and week 2.The predictive efficacy and clinical validity of the model improved over time.Patients were assigned to low-,intermediate-,and high-risk groups by their WASP-ACLF scores.Compared with the other two groups,intermediate-risk patients had a more uncertain prognosis,with a 90-day mortality of 44.4–50.6%.Sequential assessments at weeks 1 and 2 found the 90-day mortality of intermediate-risk groups was<20%forpatients with a≥2 point decrease in WASP-ACLF and was up to 56%for patients with a≥2 points increase.Similar results were observed in prospective data.Conclusions:The new ACLF prognostic score was simple,widely applicable,and had good predictive efficacy.Continuous assessments and trend of change in WASP-ACLF need to be considered,especially for intermediate-risk patients. | Zhenjun Yu Yu Zhang Yuhan Li Feng Zhou Manman Xu Shaoli You Yu Chen Bing Zhu Ming Kong Fangjiao Song Shaojie Xin Zhongping Duan Tao Han China Network for Severe Liver Diseases | 2022 | Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2022,10,5: | 1 |

| 11 | LncRNA-Airn alleviates acute liver injury by inhibiting hepatocyte apoptosis via the NF-κB signaling pathway显示文摘Acute liver injury is a common and serious syndrome caused by multiple factors and unclear pathogenesis.If the injury persists,liver injury can lead to cirrhosis and liver failure and ultimately results in the development of liver cancer.Emerging evidence has indicated that long noncoding RNAs(lncRNAs)play an important role in the development of liver injury.However,the role of antisense Igf2r RNA(Airn)in acute liver injury and its underlying mechanism remain largely unclear.In this study,we show that Airn is upregulated in liver tissue and primary hepatocytes from an acute liver injury mouse model.Consistently,Airn is also overexpressed in serum samples of patients with acute-on-chronic liver failure and is negatively correlated with the Model for End-Stage Liver Disease(MELD)score.Moreover,gene knockout and rescue assays reveal that Airn alleviates CCl_(4)-induced liver injury by inhibiting hepatocyte apoptosis and oxidative stress in vivo.Further investigation reveals that Airn decreases H_(2)O_(2)-induced hepatocyte apoptosis in vitro.Mechanistically,we reveal that Airn represses CCl_(4)-and H_(2)O_(2)-induced enhancement of phosphorylation of p65 and IκBα,suggesting that Airn inhibits hepatocyte apoptosis by inactivating the NF-κB pathway.In conclusion,our results demonstrate that Airn can alleviate acute liver injury by inhibiting hepatocyte apoptosis via inactivating the NF-κB signaling pathway,and Airn could be a potential biomarker for acute liver injury. | Shuai Shao Yu Zhang Feng Zhou Xiaoxiang Meng Zhenjun Yu Guantong Li Lina Zheng Kun Zhang Yuhan Li Beichen Guo Qi Liu Mengxia Zhang Xiaoxiao Du Wei Hong Tao Han | 2022 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,11: | 1 |
| 12 | Dynamics,stability,and control of a four-cable mount system for wind tunnel test显示文摘A four-cable mount system is proposed for full-model wind tunnel flutter tests,which may adjust the pitch and roll attitude of the aircraft scaled model and ensure that the model is not subjected to cable tension.The system provides sufficient support to simulate the free flight of the aircraft by applying appropriate spring stiffness and cable tensions.The proposed fourcable mount system is modeled based on Lagrange mechanics,and its dynamics equations consider aerodynamic effects.The singularity of the system and its bifurcation characteristics under flow conditions are analysed to determine the supercritical bifurcation phenomenon for different tension levels and distances from the front suspension point to the mass centre of the model.The mathematical expressions of the longitudinal flight stability of the cable mount system are derived by linearising the system dynamics equations using small perturbations.The influence of the cable tension,spring stiffness,suspension point position,and other factors on the flight stability of the aircraft are analysed.A feedforward control algorithm is proposed to minimize the total elastic potential energy of the system.The results show that the model is in the level flight state when the elastic potential energy of the four-cable mount system is minimized.A feedback control design method is proposed based on the Lyapunov stability theory to derive the closed-loop stability conditions.The system dynamics model that includes the aircraft rigid body model,flexible cables,pulleys,springs,aerodynamic model,and servo motor control is established using the flexible multibody dynamics method.A multibody dynamics solver and Simulink are used to simulate the attitude adjustment of the model in the wind tunnel and verify the supercritical bifurcation characteristics of the system and the effectiveness of the feedback and feedforward control. | Zhenjun ZHAO Zhanwei ZHAO Yu YAN Kaichun ZENG Xiaojun SHI Han WU | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,2: | 0 |
