| 1 | Hierarchical Magnetic Network Constructed by CoFe Nanoparticles Suspended Within “Tubes on Rods” Matrix Toward Enhanced Microwave Absorption显示文摘Hierarchical magnetic-dielectric composites are promising functional materials with prospective applications in microwave absorption(MA)field.Herein,a three-dimension hierarchical“nanotubes on microrods,”core–shell magnetic metal–carbon composite is rationally constructed for the first time via a fast metal–organic frameworksbased ligand exchange strategy followed by a carbonization treatment with melamine.Abundant magnetic CoFe nanoparticles are embedded within one-dimensional graphitized carbon/carbon nanotubes supported on micro-scale Mo2N rod(Mo2N@CoFe@C/CNT),constructing a special multi-dimension hierarchical MA material.Ligand exchange reaction is found to determine the formation of hierarchical magnetic-dielectric composite,which is assembled by dielectric Mo2N as core and spatially dispersed CoFe nanoparticles within C/CNTs as shell.Mo2N@CoFe@C/CNT composites exhibit superior MA performance with maximum reflection loss of−53.5 dB at 2 mm thickness and show a broad effective absorption bandwidth of 5.0 GHz.The Mo2N@CoFe@C/CNT composites hold the following advantages:(1)hierarchical core–shell structure offers plentiful of heterojunction interfaces and triggers interfacial polarization,(2)unique electronic migration/hop paths in the graphitized C/CNTs and Mo2N rod facilitate conductive loss,(3)highly dispersed magnetic CoFe nanoparticles within“tubes on rods”matrix build multi-scale magnetic coupling network and reinforce magnetic response capability,confirmed by the off-axis electron holography. | Chunyang Xu Lei Wang Xiao Li Xiang Qian Zhengchen Wu Wenbin You Ke Pei Gang Qin Qingwen Zeng Ziqi Yang Chen Jin Renchao Che | 2021 | Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,3: | 10 |
| 2 | Self‑Assembly MXene‑rGO/CoNi Film with Massive Continuous Heterointerfaces and Enhanced Magnetic Coupling for Superior Microwave Absorber显示文摘MXene, as a rising star of two-dimensional(2 D) materials, has been widely applied in fields of microwave absorption and electromagnetic shielding to cope with the arrival of the 5 G era. However, challenges arise due to the excessively high permittivity and the difficulty of surface modification of few-layered MXenes severely, which infect the microwave absorption performance. Herein, for the first time, a carefully designed and optimized electrostatic selfassembly strategy to fabricate magnetized MXene-r GO/Co Ni film was reported. Inside the synthesized composite film, r GO nanosheets decorated with highly dispersed Co Ni nanoparticles are interclacted into MXene layers, which effectively suppresses the originally self-restacked of MXene nanosheets, resulting in a reduction of high permittivity. In addition, owing to the strong magnetic coupling between the magnetic Fe Co alloy nanoparticles on the r GO substrate, the entire MXener GO/Co Ni film exhibits a strong magnetic loss capability. Moreover, the local dielectric polarized fields exist at the continuous heterointerfaces between 2 D MXene and r GO further improve the capacity of microwave loss. Hence, the synthesized composite film exhibits excellent microwave absorption property with a maximum reflection loss value of-54.1 d B at 13.28 GHz. | 3 | A robotic laparoscopic tool with enhanced capabilities and modularactuation显示文摘Due to the improved treatment outcomes, research on robotic MIS(Minimally Invasive Surgery) thrived in the past decades. A benchmark example is the da Vinci system that dominates robotic laparoscopy via its technology excellence and strong holding of intellectual properties. This study provides an alternative approach to realize robotic laparoscopic surgeries, by presenting the development and experimentation of the SMARLT(Strengthened Modularly Actuated Robotic Laparoscopic Tool) for MIS. A dual continuum mechanism is used in the design to achieve enhanced distal dexterity, improved reliability, increased payload capability, and actuation modularity. With kinematics modelling and actuation compensation, the SMARLT can be manipulated by a generic manipulator to carry out typical laparoscopic MIS tasks, such as tissue peeling, suturing, and knot tying. Payload capability was also experimentally characterized. The SMARLT-manipulator system essentially formed a continuum-rigid hybrid structure that makes full use of the advantages from each component: the continuum mechanism as a wrist for distal dexterity and other rigid parts for position accuracy and payload capability. | 5 | Anti-Phase Relationship Between the East Asian Winter Monsoon and Summer Monsoon During the Holocene?显示文摘The relationship between the East Asian winter monsoon(EAWM) and East Asian summer monsoon(EASM) during the Holocene is complicated and remains controversial.In this study,analysis of grain size and benthic foraminiferal oxygen isotope,as well as accelerator mass spectrometry ^(14)C dating was performed on a sediment core retrieved from the newly revealed muddy deposit on the northern South China Sea continental shelf.The history of the EAWM and EASM were reconstructed for the last 8200 a BP.Further analysis in conjunction with previously published paleo-climate proxies revealed that the relationship between the EAWM and EASM during the Holocene is more complex than a simple and strict anti-phase one-both negative and positive correlations were identified.The EAWM and EASM are negatively correlated around 7500,4800,4200,3200,and 300 a BP(cooling periods),while positively correlated around 7100,3700,and 2100 a BP(warm periods).In particular,both the EAWM and EASM intensified during the three positive correlation periods.However,we also found that the relationship between these two sub-monsoons is anti-phase during the final phase of particularly hot periods like Holocene Optimum and Medieval warm period.The possible impact from variations of solar irradiance on the relationship between the EAWM and EASM was also discussed. | GE Qian XUE Zuo YAO Zhigang ZANG Zhengchen CHU Fengyou | 2017 | Journal of Ocean University of China2017,16,2: | 2 |

| 7 | First-principles investigation of the impurity-kink interaction in bcc iron显示文摘Using the first-principles self-consistent discrete variational method based on density functional theory, we investigated the effect of light impurities C and N on the electronic structure of kink on the [100](010) edge dislocation (ED) in bcc iron. Our energetic calculations show that the light impurities have a strong segregation tendency to enter the kink. The results of the charge distribution and the local den-sity of states indicate that the strong bonds between the impurity atoms and the neighboring Fe atoms are formed due to the hybridizations of impurity atoms 2p states and Fe 3d4s4p states. The introduction of light impurities can stabilize the kink system, and impedes the sideward motion of the kink in the [100](010) ED. | 15 | The impacts of base level and lithology on fluvial geomorphic evolution at the tectonically active Laohu and Hasi Mountains,northeastern Tibetan Plateau显示文摘Previous researches had emphasized tectonic impacts on the fluvial system at the tectonically active areas,while the effects of lithology and local base level change have received relatively rare attention.Here we investigated fluvial landforms at different spatial scales,focusing on knickpoints and channel network reorganization from an area affected by the Haiyuan Fault in the northeastern Tibetan Plateau.The geomorphic indices,i.e.,drainage pattern andχanomalies,were calculated and investigated.The results show that two regional radial drainages formed around the Laohu and Hasi Mountains.Within the interior of the radial drainage,tributaries from the southeast side of the Laohu Mountain experienced near 180°direction change.We interpret this as the gradual drainage capture originating from the height difference(~190 m)of the local base level between the two catchments.Some tributaries from the Hasi Mountain show alternating gorges and broad valleys controlled by lithology.Besides,tectonic uplift and the lowering of base level(from the incision of the Yellow River)triggered an autogenic positivefeedback transition from parallel to dendritic drainage patterns.These observations suggest that base level change and lithology play a crucial role in landscape evolution,even in a tectonically active region. | Zhengchen LI Xianyan WANG Yang YU Huiping ZHANG Qi SU Xiaodong MIAO Huayu LU | 2021 | Science China Earth Sciences2021,64,6: | 0 |
| 16 | Transcription factor CsTT8 promotes fruit coloration by positively regulating the methylerythritol 4-phosphate pathway and carotenoid biosynthesis pathway in citrus (Citrus spp.)显示文摘Carotenoids directly influence citrus fruit color and nutritional value,which is critical to consumer acceptance.Elucidating the potential molecular mechanism underlying carotenoid metabolism is of great importance for improving fruit quality.Despite the well-established carotenoid biosynthetic pathways,the molecular regulatory mechanism underlying carotenoid metabolism remains poorly understood.Our previous studies have reported that the Myc-type basic helix-loop-helix(bHLH)transcription factor(TF)regulates citrus proanthocyanidin biosynthesis.Transgenic analyses further showed that overexpression of CsTT8 could significantly promote carotenoid accumulation in transgenic citrus calli,but its regulatory mechanism is still unclear.In the present study,we found that overexpression of CsTT8 enhances carotenoid content in citrus fruit and calli by increasing the expression of CsDXR,CsHDS,CsHDR,CsPDS,CsLCYE,CsZEP,and CsNCED2,which was accompanied by changes in the contents of abscisic acid and gibberellin.The in vitro and in vivo assays indicated that CsTT8 directly bound to the promoters of CsDXR,CsHDS,and CsHDR,the keymetabolic enzymes of the methylerythritol 4-phosphate(MEP)pathway,thus providing precursors for carotenoid biosynthesis and transcriptionally activating the expression of these three genes.In addition,CsTT8 activated the promoters of four key carotenoid biosynthesis pathway genes,CsPDS,CsLCYE,CsZEP,and CsNCED2,directly promoting carotenoid biosynthesis.This study reveals a novel network of carotenoid metabolism regulated by CsTT8.Our findings will contribute to manipulating carotenoid metabolic engineering to improve the quality of citrus fruit and other crops. | Quan Sun Zhengchen He Ranran Wei Yingzi Yin Junli Ye Lijun Chai Zongzhou Xie Wenwu Guo Juan Xu Yunjiang Cheng Qiang Xu Xiuxin Deng | 2023 | Horticulture Research2023,10,11: | 0 |

The results showed that:(1) the market within the autonomous region remained to be the largest one in those 4 sections;(2) Beijing was the largest domestic tourism market outside Inner Mongolia;(3) different sections were divided on the target market of domestic tourism:(1) Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region proved to be the primary market of Inner Mongolia at large;(2) Beijing and 3 provinces in Northwest China came as the primary markets of Hulun Buir-Hinggan section;(3) Beijing-Tanjin-Hebei Region and Liaoning Province were the primary markets of Xilingol-Chifeng-Tongliao section;(4) BeijingShanxi-Hebei Region turned out to be the primary market of Huhhot-Baotou-Erdos-UlanqabBayannur section;(5) Beijing and Gansu were the primary markets of Wuhai-Alxa section;(4) the market concentration ratio of domestic tourism in different sections varied from each other, and the east section was the highest one, followed by middle section, Inner Mongolia as a whole, west section, and northeast section. The maximum tuning range (MTR) and the continuous tuning range (CTR), which are related to the maximum and the minimum threshold carrier densities, are deduced from the threshold condition. We define a ratio of the CTR to the MTR. This ratio is only determined by the reflectivities of the external and internal facets of the ECLD.
