| 2 | Fault diagnosis for distillation process based on CNN–DAE显示文摘Distillation is the most widely used operation for liquid mixture separation in the chemical industry. It is of great importance to detect and diagnose faults in distillation process. Due to the strong feedback and coupling of processes in a distillation column, it is difficult to use deep auto-encoders(DAEs) alone to achieve good results in detecting and diagnosing faults, in terms of accuracy and efficiency. This paper proposes a hybrid fault-diagnosis model based on convolutional neural networks(CNNs) and DAEs, by integrating the powerful capability of CNN in feature extraction and of DAE in classification. A case study was carried out with the distillation process of depropanization. It is shown that the proposed hybrid model is of good performance compared to other models, in terms of the accuracy of fault detection in such a process. | 3 | Distribution characteristics of poly-and perfluoroalkyl substances in the Yangtze River Delta显示文摘In this work, a method was developed and optimized for the analysis of polyfluoroalkyl and/or perfluoroalkyl substances(PFASs) content in surface water and sediment samples with high instrumental response and good separation. Surface water and sediment samples were collected from the Yangtze River Delta(YRD) to analyze the distribution characteristics of perfluoroalkyl carboxylic acids(PFCAs), perfluoroalkane sulfonic acids(PFSAs), perfluoroalkyl phosphonic acids(PFPAs), perfluoroalkyl phosphinic acids(PFPiAs), and polyfluoroalkyl phosphoric acid diesters(di PAPs). The results showed that the total concentrations of PFCAs and PFSAs in YRD varied from 31 to 902 ng/L. PFCAs(≥ 11 carbons) and PFSAs(≥ 10 carbons atoms) were not detected in any surface water samples. The mean concentrations of all PFCAs and PFSAs in surface water from the sampling areas decreased in the following order:Yangtze river(191 ng/L) ≈ Taihu lake(189 ng/L) > Huangpu river(122 ng/L) ≈ Qiantang river(120 ng/L) > Jiaxing urban river(100 ng/L). Strong significant(p < 0.05) correlations between the concentrations of many of the compounds were found in the sampling areas, suggesting a common source for these compounds. Only perfluorooctanoic acid(PFOA) was observed in all sediment samples, at concentrations varying from 0.02 to 1.35 ng/g. | 5 | Selective Electrochemical Reduction of Nitrogen to Ammonia by Adjusting the Three-Phase Interface显示文摘The electrochemical nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR)provides a sustainable and alternative avenue to the Haber-Bosch process for ammonia(NH_(3))synthesis.Despite the great efforts made on catalysts and electrolytes,unfortunately,current NRR suffers from low selectivity due to the overwhelming competition with the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).Here,we present an adjusted three-phase interface to enhance nitrogen(N_(2))coverage on a catalyst surface and achieve a record-high Faradic efficiency(FE)up to 97%in aqueous solution.The almost entirely suppressed HER process combined with the enhanced NRR activity,benefiting from the efficient three-interface contact line,is responsible for the excellent selectivity toward NH_(3),as evidenced by the theoretical and experimental results.Our strategy also demonstrates the applicability to other catalysts that feature strong H adsorption ability,to boost the FE for NH_(3) synthesis above 90%and to improve the NRR activity by engineering the catalysts. | Haiyan Wang Yuzhuo Chen Ruxue Fan Jiadong Chen Zhe Wang Shanjun Mao Yong Wang | 2019 | Research2019,,1: | 4 |
| 6 | into the Role of Additives in Catalytic Synthesis of Insight Cyclohexylamine from Nitrobenzene显示文摘Cyclohexylamine is a versatile intermediate in various chemical industries,which can be expediently synthesized via hydrogenation of aniline or nitrobenzene.However,such processes always suffer from side reactions.Many reports have found that specific additives can suppress the formation of side products,but the mechanism is still not clear.In this work,results suggest that it is the hydroxide ion of alkali metal hydroxides,rather than the cations,which plays a key role in suppressing the side reactions on supported Ru-based catalysts.With the assistance of LiOH,the selectivity toward cy- clohexylamine increased from 85.4% to 100%.Side products,such as dicyciohexylamine,cyclohexanol and N-isopropyl cyclohexylamine,could no longer be detected.Theoretical calculations further disclosed that addition of alkali metal hydroxides inhibited the dissociation of enamine and decreased the adsorption energy of cyclohexylamine,which might be the reasons for a better selectivity.However,the addition of alkali metal hydroxides reduced the activity of nitrobenzene hydrogenation by unfolding the condensation reaction route.To recover or even further enhance the catalytic performance,a second metal component was introduced and the resultant RuNi/AC exhibited a significant improvement in activity compared with Ru/AC. | Xuefeng Li Zhe Wang Shanjun Mao Yiqing chen Minghui Tang Haoran Li Yong Wang | 2018 | Chinese Journal of Chemistry2018,36,12: | 4 |

| 10 | Fine particle-bound PAHs derivatives at mountain background site(Mount Tai)of the North China:Concentration,source diagnosis and health risk assessment显示文摘Ten nitrated polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(nPAHs)and 4 oxygenated polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(oPAHs)in fine particulate matter(PM2.5)samples from Mount Tai were analyzed during summer(June to August),2015.During the observation campaign,themean concentration of total nPAHs and oPAHs was 31.62 pg/m^(3)and 0.15 ng/m^(3),respectively.Two of the monitored compounds,namely 9-nitro-anthracene(9N-ANT)(6.86 pg/m^(3))and 9-fluorenone(9FO)(0.05 ng/m^(3))were the predominant compounds of nPAHs and oPAHs,respectively.The potential source and long-range transportation of nPAHs and oPAHs were investigated by the positive matrix factorization(PMF)method and the potential source contribution function(PSCF)methods.The results revealed that biomass/coal burning,gasoline vehicle emission,diesel vehicle emission and secondary formation were the dominant sources of nPAHs and oPAHs,which were mainly from Henan province and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and Bohai sea.The incremental life cancer risk(ILCR)values were calculated to evaluate the exposure risk of nPAHs and oPAHs for three group people(infant,children and adult),and the values of ILCR were 7.02×10^(−10),3.49×10^(−9)and 1.41×10^(−8)for infant,children and adults,respectively.All these values were lower than the standard of EPA(Environmental Protection Agency)(<10−6),indicating acceptable health risk of nPAHs and oPAHs. | Lei Zhao Shanjun Song Penghui Li Jing Liu Jing Zhang Lei Wang Yaqin Ji Jinpeng Liu Liqiong Guo Jinbao Han | 2021 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,11: | 2 |

| 19 | Alkali-metal(Li, Na, and K)-adsorbed MoSi_(2)N_(4) monolayer: an investigation of its outstanding electronic, optical, and photocatalytic properties显示文摘Single-layer MoSi_(2)N_(4),a high-quality two-dimensional material,has recently been fabricated by chemical vapor deposition.Motivated by this latest experimental work,herein,we apply first principles calculations to investigate the electronic,optical,and photocatalytic properties of alkali-metal(Li,Na,and K)-adsorbed MoSi_(2)N_(4) monolayer.The electronic structure analysis shows that pristine MoSi_(2)N_(4) monolayer exhibits an indirect bandgap(E_(g)=1.89 eV).By contrast,the bandgaps of one Li-,Na-,and K-adsorbed MoSi_(2)N_(4) monolayer are 1.73 eV,1.61 eV,and 1.75 eV,respectively.Moreover,the work function of MoSi_(2)N_(4) monolayer(4.80 eV)is significantly reduced after the adsorption of alkali metal atoms.The work functions of one Li-,Na-,and K-adsorbed MoSi_(2)N_(4) monolayer are 1.50 eV,1.43 eV,and 2.03 eV,respectively.Then,optical investigations indicate that alkali metal adsorption processes substantially increase the visible light absorption range and coefficient of MoSi_(2)N_(4) monolayer.Furthermore,based on redox potential variations after alkali metals are adsorbed,Li-and Na-adsorbed MoSi_(2)N_(4) monolayers are more suitable for the water splitting photocatalytic process,and the Li-adsorbed case shows the highest potential application for CO_(2) reduction.In conclusion,alkali-metal-adsorbed MoSi_(2)N_(4) monolayer exhibits promising applications as novel optoelectronic devices and photocatalytic materials due to its unique physical and chemical properties. | Zhiyuan Sun Jing Xu Nsajigwa Mwankemwa Wenxing Yang Xianwen Wu Zao Yi Shanjun Chen Weibin Zhang | 2022 | Communications in Theoretical Physics2022,74,1: | 1 |
